Video summary
The upcoming R programming course is scheduled to begin on April 21st, and the creator is actively seeking feedback from viewers regarding its content and format. The speaker expresses sincere gratitude for the channel's subscribers, likes, comments, and engagement, noting that this support significantly aids in discovery on YouTube. Beyond general appreciation, the primary goal of this video is to gather specific suggestions on what topics should be included in the curriculum, emphasizing a desire to tailor the course based on audience interests rather than sticking strictly to a predetermined syllabus.
Viewers are encouraged to request coverage of advanced subjects such as ggplot for data visualization, deep learning implementations using packages like deeplearning4j or similar tools, and machine learning techniques. The creator explicitly states that any topic is possible if there is sufficient interest from the community. Additionally, the course will feature two dedicated lectures at the end where students can submit their own datasets for analysis; these sessions involve creating custom PowerPoint presentations based on real-world data provided by the participants. Students wishing to utilize this personalized service are advised to contact the instructor in advance, as preparing these specialized lessons requires considerable time and effort.
Another critical area of feedback concerns the preferred platform for delivering the course content, with options including YouTube or Twitch. While the creator has a personal preference, they remain flexible and willing to switch platforms if the majority of students express a strong desire for one over the other. The video concludes by reiterating that all suggestions regarding lecture topics, dataset submissions, and platform choices should be shared in the comments section or via direct contact. Ultimately, the instructor hopes to launch an applicable and highly relevant course on April 21st that directly addresses the learning needs of its audience.
