Good evening. My name is Christian
Klein. I'm the chair of the Arlington
Zoning Board of Appeals, and I am
calling this meeting of the board to
order. First, I'd like to confirm that
all members and anticipated officials
are present. So, on behalf of the Zoning
Board of Appeals, uh we have Roger
Dupont here.

Um
and then I
we don't have anyone here uh tonight
representing 15 Beck Road, but they had
requested a continuance, which we'll get
to in a second.
So, tonight's meeting of the Arlington
Zoning Board of Appeals is being
conducted remotely, consistent with the
bill signed by Governor Healey on March
28th, 2025, which extended temporary
provisions pertaining to the Open
Meeting Law to June 30th, 2027. The
extension of these provisions allows
public bodies to hold their meetings
remotely by providing live, adequate,
alternative means of public access to
the deliberations. This meeting is being
recorded and will be broadcast by ACMI,
and members of the public who are
participating via Zoom, and who wish to
offer public comment, should be aware
they will be asked to provide their full
name and address, so that a complete
public record of the meeting can be
taken in accordance with state law. All
participants of this meeting are advised
that people may be listening to the
meeting without offering public comment,
and those people are not required to
identify themselves. Any votes that are
taken this evening will be conducted by
roll call vote. All supporting materials
that have been provided members of this
body are available on the town's website
unless otherwise noted. Public is
encouraged to follow along using the
posted agenda. And as chair, I reserve
the right to take items out of order in
the interest of promoting an orderly
meeting.
Uh so, the first section of our meeting
is administrative items. Uh these items
relate to the operation of the board and
as such will generally be conducted
without input from the general public.
Board will not take up any new business
on any prior hearings, nor will there be
the introduction of any new information
on matters previously brought before the
board.
So, item one on our agenda
this evening is the vote to approve the
minutes from our August 25th, 2026
meeting. These are minutes that were
prepared by Ms. Ralston to serve to the
board for questions and comments. Final
version
will post it back to the board. Are
there any additional questions or
comments as they relate to the minutes
from September uh not from September
8th. I beg your pardon, that's today. We
don't have those yet. This will be
August 25th.
Seeing none, I move that the Zoning
Board of Appeals for the Town of
Arlington approve the minutes from the
August 25th, 2026 meeting of the board.
I'll second. Mr. Hanlon was not present,
so he will not be seconding it.

the um town's agenda website, this
item was put in for inclusion, but
somehow did not make it into the final
version. We're not quite sure what
happened, so I issue a apologies to Mr.
Fleming who joined us this evening, uh
but because it's not did not make it to
the agenda, we're not going to be able
to vote on the final decision in um
that case this evening, and so that will
have to be held over
uh
for 2 weeks until our subsequent
meeting. So, I apologize to Mr. Fleming
for that.

to public hearings. Uh so, the applicant
for docket 3913 15 Beck Road has
requested a continuance to October 13th.
Uh I will note Mr. Rosenberg has

matter and filed a Mullen Rule
certification with the chair, so
um Mr. Rosenberg will be included in the
vote on this matter. So,

uh continue the public hearing in docket
