Video summary

You are likely feeling exhausted, overwhelmed by empathy, or confused after recognizing signs of a spiritual awakening, but Julian Jenkins advises against trying to intellectually understand this massive shift immediately. The human mind naturally seeks labels, frameworks, and explanations to categorize everything it encounters, often leading individuals down rabbit holes searching for the "right" teacher or theory at 3:00 AM. However, attempting to analyze an experience that is happening beyond the realm of thought is like trying to measure the vast ocean with a ruler; the tool itself isn't wrong, but it is simply not built for this specific task. Instead of seeking intellectual closure, you are encouraged to stop analyzing and start feeling your way through the process by asking what you are actually experiencing in the moment without needing to name or define it immediately. To navigate this new reality while keeping yourself grounded, Jenkins emphasizes three critical practical steps: protecting your energy, finding an anchor practice, and learning to let go of relationships that no longer fit. Because awakening often opens you up like a sieve during a rainstorm, you must establish energetic boundaries rather than physical walls by regularly checking in with yourself to distinguish between emotions that are yours versus those absorbed from others. You should also cultivate a daily "anchor practice"—whether it is meditation, washing dishes, gardening, or playing music—that brings your awareness back into your body and quiets the mental noise when things feel intense. Finally, you must learn to say no to draining people and obligations while accepting that relationships will naturally change as you evolve; this does not mean others are wrong, but rather that they exist on a different timeline than yours right now. The final piece of advice is to trust the timing of your journey even when it feels like nothing is moving or making sense after all the work you have done. This period of confusion and stillness is often described as "the void," which functions similarly to a seed growing underground where roots are forming invisibly beneath the surface while everything above looks unchanged. It is crucial not to bypass this phase with toxic positivity but instead to honor the grief and uncertainty that arises, trusting in an intuitive knowing that transformation is occurring even if you cannot see it yet. The willingness to keep moving forward without a clear view of the path is itself the path, serving as the most important work you will ever undertake on your spiritual journey.

So, you've watched um my one of my videos, the five signs of five signs that you're waking up. If you haven't, then it's in here somewhere in the YouTube. you've recognized in yourself somewhere [snorts] along those lines those five signs. Whether it's the exhaustion, whether it's the empathic overload, whether it's the the synchronicities, the grief, the inability to to pretend anymore. And I know, you know, you're probably sitting there thinking, that's okay. [snorts] I've identified these things, but I now understand I'm waking up. But what now? What happens next? Well, my name is Julian Jenkins and I've been working with spiritually um empowered people, if that's the right word to use. And I've helped them, thousands of them to walk this path. And the question I get asked a lot is, what do I actually do with this? And today I'm going to tell you no crystals and candles and that sort of thing. Today is just another five things that can keep you grounded same and in a lot of ways moving forward while your reality is pretty much rearranging itself. [sighs] So let's get into them. Step at number one, stop trying to understand it. And I know that that feels counterintuitive. You're waking up to something massive. And then my first piece of advice to you is to stop trying to figure it out. But you have to hear me out. You see, our minds want to categorize everything. It wants to label everything that's happening. It wants to find the right book, the right teacher, the right framework that explains everything neatly, that sentence that's going to entirely unlock you. And at 2:00 in the morning or 3:00 I call it most of the time you start googling and you fall down these rabbit holes of condalini twin flames, star seeds, ascension [snorts] symptoms and before you know it, you're consumed by so much information that you're more confused now than when you started. I call it analysis paralysis. But here's what I've learned after walking with people through this kind of thing on thousands of occasions. The mind cannot understand awakening because awakening is happening beyond the mind. I'll say that again. The mind cannot understand the awakening because the awakening is happening beyond the mind. In many ways, it's like you getting a ruler and trying to measure the sea, the ocean with it. [yawns and sighs] It's the tool isn't wrong. A ruler measures things, but it wasn't built for this. So, what do you do instead? Well, you feel, you sit, you experience without needing to name it. You let it be messy. You let it be unnamed for a while. And I know that doesn't sit comfortably. And I know it's very uncomfortable at times and it's supposed to be because the discomfort is doing the work. And think about this for a practical step. And I'm always here to try and give you some practical steps. When you catch yourself spiraling into that research mode, close the phone, put your hand on your chest, and ask yourself a question. What am I feeling right now? >> [snorts] >> You see that's the compass. That's where you feel. What does that mean? What stage am I at? None of that. None of that matters. It's just what am I feeling? That is your compass. It's always been your compass. The ability to come back and [sighs] [gasps] just be. Step two, protect your energy like your life depends on it. Because right now, it pretty much does really. In the first video, I talked about empathic sensitivities and switching on and banging your head against the wall when you [snorts] feel things that that aren't yours. You're walking into rooms absorbing everybody's energy. If that's happening to you that you are energetically wide open and being wide open without knowing how to manage it is like walking through a rainstorm without a coat and wondering why you're wet. And what you need is you need boundaries. You don't need walls. You need boundaries. The difference a wall blocks everything. a boundary. Well, that lets you choose what comes in. And here's what works. I'm going to give you something you can do today. Right now, not in the next 6 months. Not over a complicated course. Right now, learn to check in. I don't mean in a airport or on a holiday. Learn to check in. Check in with yourself three times a day. Stop and ask yourself, is this mine? that emotion you're carrying, the anxiety you're feeling, the heaviness, is it yours or did you pick it up? And you'll be surprised how often the answer is, that's not mine. And the moment you recognize it, everything starts to lift. And second, after you've been around other people, shake it off. Literally get in the car. Get in the car and the social event and shake your hands. Roll your shoulders. Yeah. Take three deep deep breaths. [sighs and gasps] [snorts] [yawns] [sighs] Might sound simple because it is. Your body knows how to release energy. You just have to give it permission. And thirdly, and this is the big one, start saying no. Say no to the people who drain you. To the events that feel wrong. To the obligations that belong to the person that you used to be, not the person that you're becoming. And every no you say to what drains you is a yes to what sustains you. Every no you say every no you say to say every can I say that again? Every no you say to what drains you is a yes to what sustains you. Every no you say every no you say to what drains you. You are saying yes to what sustains you. Stop saying yes to what drains you. Start saying no. And that's a that is a yes, but it's a yes for what sustains you. It's hard. We're empathic. We're people pleasers. I've talked about this a zillion times to people recently. Step three, find your anchor practice. What do you do? Where do you anchor yourself? Where do you come back home? And notice I didn't say meditation. I said anchor practice. Anchor practice is meditation. But here's the truth that nobody in spiritual world or spiritual wants to admit. Sometimes meditation doesn't always work for everyone. Especially not when your system is in full [snorts] recalibration mode. I've had students come to me frustrated because they've been told to go and meditate and every time their mind goes into overdrive they feel worse and they feel like they're well in a lot of ways failing at being spiritual. But that's not failure. That's just the wrong tool at the wrong time. An anchor practice is whether you whatever you use brings you back into your body. For some people, yes, that's meditation. For others, it's walking. For others, it's cooking. For others, it's gardening. For others, it's swimming. For others, it's painting. For others, it's playing an instrument. For me, sometimes it's playing those decks back there, boy. I have one student who told me her anchor practice is doing the washing up. She said every it's the only time when her mind goes quiet and she can feel her own energy. Brilliant. That counts. The criteria is simple. It It has to bring you back to your body. It has to quieten the noise and it has something you can do regularly. Not a retreat once a year you go on or but [snorts] a daily practice that you can lean into when things get a bit tety, a little bit intense. Find it, commit to it. Do it even on the days you don't want to, especially on those days that you don't want to. This is the anchor that will hold you steady while everything else shifts. Number four, step four, let people go without making them making them wrong. What does that mean? Well, I think it's one of the hardest ones and it's the one that people aren't prepared for. When you stop when you start waking up, relationships change. That's not maybe. That is 100% certainty. Some people grow with you. Some will watch you from a distance and not understand. And some will actively resist what's happening to you [snorts] because the change threatens their comfort and their overall friendship existence. In the first video, I talked about grieving a life that hasn't ended yet. Well, this is where the grief lives in the space between two people, who you need to be. It's who you truly are and who you were, who you becoming. And here's where I see people get stuck. They turn into into judgment. My friends aren't spiritual enough. My family doesn't understand. I've I've outgrown them all more. And suddenly awakening becomes a hierarchy. You're at the top up and everyone else is below. Feed them cake. Do not talk to me about the great unwashed. The truth is simpler and sadder. You're changing. Not everyone else is changing around you. [sighs] And that doesn't make them wrong. It makes them on a different timeline. And I can tell you now, your job isn't to wake anyone else up. Your job is to be honest about where you are, to treat people with the same compassion you want if the rules reversed and to quietly create space for connections that match who you are becoming. Some relationships will they will transform, some will fade, some will end. And the grief of that is real. I've been there, seen it, done it. And unfortunately, got the t-shirt. Don't bypass it. Don't spiritual positively think in your way through it. Feel it, honor it, and then keep walking. And there's a practice in here. When you notice yourself judging somebody for not getting it, catch it. Replace the judgment with curiosity. They're on their own path. That one sentence has saved me more relationships than any other spiritual practice I know. They're not on my path. They're on their own path. Step five, trust the timing even when it feels unbearable. This is where I need you to really listen. Awakening does not happen on your schedule. It happens on its own. And there will be periods, I'm not going to sugarcoat this, when it feels like nothing, zip, zilch, blah blah blah is moving. When all you've done all work, all you done is work and you're still confused. You've done all the work. You you're meditating. You've done all these things, but you still can't seem to grasp it. where you released, where you surrendered, where you meditated, where you journaled, and you still don't know what's happening or where you're going. And that's not a sign you're doing anything wrong. That's the void. And the void in many ways is where the real transformation happens. Think of it like a seed in the garden. There's a period where nothing visible is happening. But above the surface, it looks like nothing. But on the ground, everything is changing. roots are forming, structures are building, and life is organizing itself in the dark. And sometimes it feels like we're in the dark. And that's exactly sometimes where we need to be. The people who get through this, and I've walked alongside thousands of them, are the ones who learn to trust what they can't see. Not blind faith, not toxic positivity, just a quick knowing and saying something like something is happening even though I can't prove it yet. And I'm going to keep going and you will because you already here. You've already recognized the signs. You already asked, "What do I do?" to the question. The willingness to keep moving when you can't see the path is the path. I'm going to look around and pick up all those pennies because there's a penny drop moment in there. The willingness to keep moving even when you can't see the path. That is the path. That's a big one. It's right at the end. So, there it is. Five things to do when you're waking up. Stop trying to understand it. Protect your energy. Find your anchor practice. Let people go without making them wrong. And trust the timing. None of this is easy. I never told you it would be. But it's the most important thing and the work you will ever do. And you don't have to do it all alone. You haven't, you know, you haven't seen my first video. Go and watch it. Five signs you're waking up. The link's in here somewhere. Watch it. See if you recognize yourself. If if it's helped, share it with someone. Share it with someone who's in the middle of this right now. They probably won't ask for help. They probably they probably need it. I hope you've enjoyed this video. I'm Julian Jenkins. I'm still a spiritual spiritual entity having a human experience. I'm still human. I'm still spiritual. I'm still trying to keep things real. I hope um you've enjoyed this video. I'm doing this on a Sunday and really busy, but I just wanted to get it out there because I just felt it again. Felt it again. Felt it again. I'm putting together all a video to go to LA. I'm going to LA on Tuesday. I'm flying [snorts] there. We have the Crystal Bears. Me and myself and guy called Lloyd Knight who's working with me on this. And we're going to LA to bring the Crystal Bears to the world. It's on YouTube. Crystal Bears. Go and watch them. It's all about bears with crystals. And crystals help children with their emotions because the emotions are the baddies in this instance. And we have these crystals that can help them to have social emotional learning. [sighs] If you could subscribe to that, that'd be great. If you could subscribe to this, it would be great as well. I hope this helped. God bless you all. Have a wonderful weekend or if you're watching this in a week or if you're watching this in two years time. Just remember this. Keep moving when you can't see the path because that is the path. Be love and give love. Bye-bye.
