And due to the fact that this last trial, man, it was a lot of witnesses and it was even though it wasn't, and I and I'm paraphrasing, it wasn't it wasn't strategic and it wasn't like she she gave a little bit of a a she gave a little bit of a punch to it that it wasn't it wasn't on point the way it should have been. The judge has spoken and said she will grant it. The defense said they even had some things they wanted to uh you know try to do on a few of their witnesses. A judge granted a continuation in the capital murder trial of Dallas rapper Yellow Beasy Maris Conway, pushing the proceeding back by at least one to two months. Conway faces charges for allegedly hiring a gunman Kiwan White to what? Who was convicted and convicted of a capital murder earlier this month to kill rival rapper Mo 3 during the 2020 highway ambush. A new trial date has not yet been scheduled while defense lawyers await trial transcript and coordinate expert availability. The trial in Dallas Yellow has been delayed. So, uh OG uh what do you think this does when it comes down to the preparations of the uh the the not just the defense, but but the prosecution that you spoke of earlier? What do you think they're going to be able to get? They've already seen every damn thing that they needed to see when it come down to witnesses. I think there's a few witnesses that's uh pretty much acting as if they don't want to. According to what I heard on this, they don't want to even be involved, man. Let's just be real. They they they they reigging on these statements. Oh, tell me what happens, though. If somebody says they're going to uh they're going to work with the defense, but then turns around, I mean with the prosecution, but then turns around and say, "Hey, I'm not going to say that or I'm not if I get up there, you ain't going to get what you're looking for." >> Well, it's pretty essential. If the prosecution has a witness and the witness recants or doesn't, but the penalty for that person, it most more than likely the only reason the person gets on the stand because he has something to look for. The prosecution done pro promised him something. >> So all that goes out the window. So you going to get the severe the most severe part of the prosecution and it's very and that's that's that's the whole situation today is that uh uh defolding and people not standing up on on the principle and [clears throat] that I I sent you some things uh earlier on uh this thing that dropped snowfall and the blurred lines. Here's what we know about this thing. Jury selection for the capital murder trial was set to begin Monday. However, Judge Chica Anam granted a defense motion for a continuence. Defense attorney for Yellow Bezi, whose real name is Maris Conway, asked for the delay because several of the expert witnesses are not available to testify in the next two weeks. The lawyer always wanted a copy of the transcript from Kiwan White's trial to review before uh um Conway stands trial. So, he wanted that as well. Prosecutors agreed with the motion. So prosecutors, like I said, they was already they felt like this was something that needed to happen, too. So they were both in agreement. Let's get prepared because we're about to It's like two people who working out to fight against each other. If they feel like we want to wait because, you know what I mean, we feel like this fight can be better if we can both get our grounding right and work out a little more and they agree on it, they can switch the date up. And this is about to be a damn rumble in the jungle. Uh, the defense is going to come with what they're going to come with. The prosecution is going to come with what they're going to come with. This is not an open andsh shut case. I told OG that he tried to act like, "Oh, they got him. Oh, yellow's done. He through it." Well, now that changes. There's going to be some resetting. >> There's going to be some resetting and there's going to be some reflexing. It's good for Conway because he out on bail and as many continues he get that's a day closer to him getting to Cuba. So I'm I'm all aligned with it. She told him to go out there and talk to her like her assistants to get that date going. They trying to get a date together, but they saying it's going to be within this within a month or two. I'm looking at a two. I'm looking at um right before Christmas. I'm looking at somewhere right around November. uh uh you know, they're going to try to get him get him done for the holidays. They're going to try to get him in there for the holidays and get him going. It may be a little closer than what you think cuz they trying to get they looking at them holidays and they trying to figure out a way not to violate their holiday season. They want to eat some uh uh turkey and some dressing and and some uh they want to get them some of that food to go and then they want to get them some presents for Christmas. Oh, gee. That's what they want to do at that courthouse down there. So they will be getting him in there September, October, October, mid October. He'll be in there in that courtroom mid end October. Mid more than likely they're going to get him in there. This is me now. I'm just I'm just guessing here, but I'm thinking they're going to get him in there, try to get it knocked out beforehand. We'll know if Yellow Bezes will be walking a free man like uh or we'll know if they going to try to lock him down like Kiwan White. We will know that. And from a ri from a from White's trial and the defense asked for an additional two weeks to review the document. Both sides also plan to work with the court to make sure the federal witnesses will be available to testify. Now, the backstory on this OG is very interesting. Listen at this. Mo three, whose real name is Melvin Noble, was killed in an ambush on Interstate 35. We know that in Dallas in what, 2020. Prosecutors alleged Conway hired White to carry out the murder over a longunning feud. White was convicted earlier this month of a capital murder. Conway has pleaded not guilty to capital murder and denied involvement. A third defendant, there we go. There that what we've been waiting on. Devon Devin Brown is also charged with capital murder. But when is his situation taking place? When will we hear from him? When will we he Devin Brown? When is his trial? And why is he being waited upon? Maybe it's because they're talking to him as a witness. What do you think of? Maybe they're not going to have a trial on him at all. >> He been there six years.
