Um, let me read this to you. Defense attorney for Dallas rapper Yellow Beasy filed a motion to request that continues to delay his up andcoming capital murder trial. The reason for the request, the defense needs time to review transcripts from codefendant Kiwan White's recently completed trial and cited scheduling conflicts for the expert witness during the week of uh September 21st. Currently scheduled juror selection was originally set to begin on Monday, September the 14th, 2026. The judge has not yet ruled on the request to postpone the case and it remains unknown or how far back the trial date will be pushed. Yellow be born Maris Conway faces capital murder charges for allegedly paying Kiwan White to kill rival Dallas rapper Mo3 Melvin Noble and in on the interstate 35 in 2020. Um this here says if if you'd like here it is. So here here here's what you got to understand OG. Um he's trying to basically get everything together so he can really have everything he need to fight this case. But in doing so, that also gives the prosecution more time to do stuff and come up with ways to prosecute this case. >> Well, of course. >> So, it's it's a thing where it could be a wise decision, but it could also be a thing where it could have the [clears throat] see the the prosecutor could come up with things that they probably normally wouldn't have came up with. Kiwan White done told them everything they needed to know about this thing. He's steadily talking. and he does podcast every day. Every day he calls and somebody talks to him about this case. Whether it's I done it and how did I do it until Miss Noble said this and I cried to I threw my life away. Um he's and and now I'm hearing that he is going to testify. OG just like you said. I can't lie. I wanted to hold it back from you and not say nothing, but hell, I'm going to let it out. He is going to testify allegedly. They You say 260 something would they got a plethora and then they just finished the trial which the defense knows about the trial and know what was said. But then he has to be able to dissect what went on in Kon White's trial and then when they bring Brown on, they have to make sure. So the best thing that he can do now is get some time post some time. Hope they send uh Kon White back to prison and he catch or catch some kind of beef where he caught up. >> Oh, so it makes sense. Well, it ain't no case, so we ain't looking at nothing. If you demand, Texas has a different set [snorts] of rules in California. Uh, and California has changed since CO, but in California used to have to have 72 hours to get to arraignment, 14 days to get to a preliminary >> and and 120 days to get you to trial. If you don't if you don't wave any time at all, they have to have you in trial in 120 days on a murder. They will never be able to do it because they have so the detective they ain't got their paperwork. They don't do anything. But then you wave time. Once you wave time, the prosecution can wave time. Just like you say, this has been six years. If this had have went down the week of the time that it happened, the witnesses that they have now would never have been able to show up. But you give a witness, a street person, enough time, I'mma get a ticket, I'mma get arrested, once I'm in jail, I'll make any kind of deal to get out. >> Wow. Yeah. It it it's it's something because these lawyers have to be very very um careful the way they approach each situation. That's what you pay a money for. Um they got to make sure that they give every opportunity to make you a winner in the situation. But when I see the young ladies that was dealing with Kiwan White and the way that they approached this case, it was not aggressive at all. It was pretty much we It was almost like we know he's guilty, but we got to go in here anyway. >> It didn't seem like they was going in there to win. It seemed like they was going in there just to process the situation. >> Yeah. So, they're they're courtapped attorneys. So, that means they don't have a big budget for a investigating team. Now, the uh prosecution got state money. They got they're with the judge. So you're against a Goliath. So with Kon White, all right, he's already in custody. Came from the feds. It ain't like he going home. >> Yeah. >> So we we we we'll just do a song and dance here and let him go on and bite the dust and make it make it look affordable where we can't go on appeal for ineffective a counsel go alone to get along. When you coming back and you've been locked up and in in there and in them same clothes that they wear and you get to come home like Kiwan White and come back to Dallas and your people get to see you and you up on that stand and it's your grand stand and and now you can't even you got to wear those damn jumpers. But evidently, somebody had to give him something to change his mind or do something to him to change his mind because when he came in there, he was quite professional and he was quite uh uh uh pretty much reserved. >> What do turn over? The reason for the delay request is because yellow bees defense team wants a written record from Kiwan White's trial and ran into into the scheduling conflict concerning that expert witness. They want a they didn't see what happened with Kiwan's trial. Who were from part of who? They got an expert witness they want to get in there. What do you think this expert witness is doing? Who is this expert witness for yellow? What is he trying to accomplish? >> It's that's just a delayed tactic. Be they don't have an expert witness that can't say anything. But the when they talked about the money transfer and how uh supposedly Trap Boy Freddy gave him cash and it came out of the bank and they were discussing the the the um Kon White attorney was asking how how much money did um Yellow spend the month before and the expert witness didn't know that was it not the expert witness that detective. So I I that's the only thing that I can see that it's nothing that would avail anything to um Yellow Bezy other than the bank records. >> No, he said the witness Julian Moore, they even Juliana Moore is reportedly an 18-year veteran of federal court proceedings and knows of the benefits available to a witness if they cooperate with the prosecution. It's unclear, however, how this will relate to Beey's case. It said that they don't know how this going to relate. Moore isn't available to testify during the week of September 21st, 2026 because of the pre-planned event Yella's lawyer, Toby Shook, reportedly shared the white the white trial took two full weeks from the start. The citizen thus Yella be his attorney expert uh to present expect to present his defense during the week, September 21st. the week that more isn't available. In addition, the defense team reportedly said 10 days is insufficient preparation period covering only five working days after White's trial. The witness list for both trial are reportedly almost uh indistinguishable from one another, indicating jurors will hear a lot of the same arguments and evidence. OG, that's what it is. Yellow Bezy pleaded not guilty to the charges against him following Kiwan White's conviction. He claimed Beey did he claimed Beey did not pay him for the murder. Bezy denies having anything to do with Mo 3's murder. I'm going to say there's a possibility each one of those things can happen. OG, and we have to be really, really careful how we address it when we're dealing with it because we don't want to lead the people in the wrong way.
