Hope you're having a good day not bad at all. Today we're doing some relic grinding. So, we're going to be chilling with you guys. Finally, some nice weather. Oh, man. I can't wait for fall. I'm really looking forward to fall. Yeah, there's there's still some stuff for me to do. And um There's still some stuff for me to do in Iron Nest. But, it's mostly challenges. Challenges and ribbons and achievements and stuff. I was like, "Okay, it's a good time to stop." And then when the devs put out some new some new stuff which they're planning to do very soon. It might be a couple weeks before we see a patch and some new missions and new stuff to do. They will go back and try it again and do it again. What do you think will be the most played What do you think you'll be mostly playing till those updates come out? Right now, this, but I don't know. I don't know. We've got this. We've got Zomboid. We've got Truck Sim. We've got Flight Sim. We've got uh Lee Dangerous. Bunch of games on the top 10 list. But, I don't know. These guys got some stank breath, chat. I heard about it. They got some stank breath. Wow. Stanky boys. So much stank. I was also looking at uh this morning. And uh this might show up as a YouTube video. But, I was looking at Scrap Mechanic. When I woke up today, I didn't have the energy to make a video for it. So, I didn't make one. But, thinking about Scrap Mechanic. That's a lot of stupid That's a lot of stupid. I think Scrap Mechanic came out July 25th or 6th or something like that. But, you know, coming off Pal World, I might not be motivated to chop down trees. Haha. I don't know. Seems like a fun game, though. I I feel like I've played it, but my Steam library says I haven't played it, which confuses me. So, it must have been a demo or a non-Steam version I played cuz the game, according to the internet, has been in early access since 2016. That's a long time. And so it finally came out, right? Um so I'm just assuming I played the demo or early access version or something. But I'm just looking at the gameplay. I'm like, I'm pretty sure I did this. Pretty sure I made some cars and ran over stuff and picked up loot. But it looks like a fun game though. Looks very grindy. Why am I hitting AOE? I don't know. Oh, he's stunned it. This guy's a proper tank. It's like real life tank. The shift. What we have to do for this? Same thing you do for all of them. It It hasn't changed. I got to grind face until the rare thing drops. Um I think it's a 5% chance or 5 or 10% chance here. Or I can go to that area that I went to last time. Uh which is kind of like Eureka and Baja. And the bosses drop there the boss drop rate there is higher. Yeah, so same nonsense. You know the funny thing is that I don't even know if I've gotten any of the drops yet. I may have. I have to check my key items or something. I know last time I grinded I'm pretty sure I didn't get anything. Yeah, that's how it goes. We did it. We did it. My my my mash my man beep beep boop. It's really funny that there's a lot of people who have never played this game that are going to play it just because it's going to have a Final Fantasy VII crossover. Didn't they up the rate from when you last did it? Probably. I would say yeah. What I have to do? Just to follow this. Huh? I have to kill this dude. Pa pa pa pa pa pa killed the boss. That FFVII love runs deep. It it does. And there's These are people that I didn't think would ever play the game. Like would ever never play this. Um and they're like, "Yep, I installed Final Fantasy XIV. Don't laugh at me." So mainly because of the crossover. They didn't sound like that, but that's how they sounded in my head. It's kind of cool that in Dawntrail, not Dawntrail, in Evercold, the next update, that they're completely overhauling the chocobo system with these companions here. And you'll be able to run dungeons with them. That's going to be an interesting mechanic. I hope they don't mess it up cuz it sounds like it could be fun. And it's going to be tied to chocobo breeding, too, so that could be good. My chicken will have new life and justice. When I logged in, my UI was all jacked up and I didn't know why. Turns out I was experimenting with the Steam controller last time I played and I butchered some stuff. Mhm. And I forgot to put it back together. So, I panicked. I was like, "Oh, my UI's broken. Oh, no, I'm going to have to quit. I'm never playing this game again. Oh." >> [laughter] >> Turns out rumors of my going crazy were heavily exaggerated. I was looking at the link shell list, or the not link shell, but the free company list. It was depressing. It was actually depressing. I was like, "Why in the world am I staying in this stupid free company?" I look at this. The last member, or the the the member that has logged in the most recent, that was 169 days ago. And then it's like 363 days, and then 715 days, and then 877 days, and then 1,509 days, and then 1,747 days, and then 1,776 days, and then 1,782 days. You get the idea. And then when I logged in today, I got a notification that the person that was logging in left the free company. I'm like, "Well, yep. Yep. Mhm. Yep. Yep. That's how it goes. So, we're just chilling, doing some good old-fashioned fate grinding. These bicolor stones I'm getting can be traded in for stuff, so I got to make sure I'm not capping out on them. I can probably buy something valuable make some gil out of it. I'm from Limsa Lominsa and say kill them all. So, I put together a list of things that I would do if I made a game like my main squeeze, you know? So, I was like, these are possible daily activities I would be doing if that was my game. And it kind of opened my eyes. I was like, do I want to do that, you know? Didn't make my decision final or anything, but I was like, hey, that's something to think about. Like for example, like in Truck Sim, I would I would 100% the map or review a new truck or a new state or what else? What else I have to put in here? Um achievement, 100% achievements and stuff like that. The typical stuff you would do after you finish a game, like end game stuff. But for simulators, it's kind of different, you know? For simulators, you have to think a little bit different. It's like a always you're reviewing new tracks. If it's a if it's a racer, if it's a Truck Sim, you're reviewing a new state or a new truck that just came out. If it's Flight Sim, it's a new plane, it's a new airport, new livery, not livery, but like a new scenery, new airport, that kind of stuff. That kind of thing, you know? If it's Elite Dangerous, you're doing like community goals, you're engineering new ship, reviewing a new ship. Um yeah, that kind of stuff, you know? You know or? Yeah, Chad, you know. You know. Yeah, that's that's how people get views in the in the simulator crowd. It could be a flight stick, it could be a state, it could be a core, it could be a truck, it could be I don't know. A new ship that comes out in Elite Dangerous. That's that's the content right there, man. If you ain't got the hookup, you're buying all this stuff. So, you know how I was thinking Elite Dangerous is still not out after all these years. I know. I know. And people are okay with it. I think that's the most I think that's the probably the most surprising part to me is that people are okay with it. I would be livid. Like if I put a lot of money into that I put like what I almost 100 bucks into it and I'm feeling kind of stink right now. You know. But there's a lot of these people put in thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars and they just sitting on their hands, you know, just like y'all need to release this game. Yeah, it's going to be perfect. And this requires this before it comes out. You are our last hope. Please save us. I still haven't tried that. I reinstalled Did I reinstall it? I said I was going to try it again and see if all the bugs were still there even though Dak told me they were. Dak's like yep, that's still broken, that's still broken, and that's still broken. I'm like, well, great. That's everything I do. That's probably why I didn't put a rush on it cuz everything's still broken. Here's the new ship for a million dollars. >> [laughter] >> I don't know. I I mean the the new stuff they put in I was so happy. I was like, this is great. This is so good. And then it didn't work and I was like, well, here we go. Here we go. Like I was I was pretty I wasn't 100% but I was I was probably like more than 60% sure that I want to do Elite Dangerous. Now I'm having second thoughts. It's just like now the CG is over I'm just like what would I be doing you know? I think that's the part that got me doubting cuz it's like in between CGs like what am I going to do? I'm going to show you guys this list. I think it I think you'll understand what I'm talking about cuz it's like it's a very important thing you know. And I had all this information in my head but writing it down kind of just made it hit home. I was like hmm. Wow. I don't know if I can do that every day. Even if it's only like 4 to 6 hours a day I'm like I don't know if I can do all of it every day you know what I mean? I don't know if I can do that. I don't know. Cuz the word that comes to mind is boredom. I'm like I'm going to get bored with this. It's kind of like the decision of me playing this today cuz I looked at the Final Fantasy list and I was like it actually has a lot of options compared to the other stuff between the crafting, relic grind, leveling all jobs, mount grinding, grinding glamour stuff, and then you got the Evercoal Heights. So it's just like I was like that's a lot of stuff going for it whereas everything else all the other things on the list were kind of stale. I even added Zomboy to the list just to spice things up. I was like hey maybe I can make Zomboy that game. I tried to spice it up child. I was like here's some cayenne pepper. Some cayenne pepper. And it didn't work. It wasn't spicy enough. I just realized something. Uh this music's going to be on my recording. Hmm. Let me fix that now. Uh how do I do [sighs] this? I go to settings and meld. Mhm. I'm going to stare at you, chat. Settings I think under preferences you can say what tracks you want to go record. Wait, where is that at? Recording, there it is. Edit. Recording output Select the audio tracks to record. Each will be saved in a separate track in the recorded file for editing and post-production. That ain't what I've been doing. Oh, you know what? I see the problem. Let me stop recording. I love warrior so much. Still the best tank. So satisfying. Other tanks are okay. Hey, I got one. Azerite Demonic Zamasia >> [laughter] >> I need like How many do I need? Like 16,000? It is the first step is um 18 Three of each type. What did I just get? I got Azerite. It says I have two in my inventory. Are they in here? Cuz you need three of each type. And that makes me sad because that likely means I can't get them all from doing fates. It looks like I'm going to have to go and do freaking Bozja Junior. Yeah, you need a total of 18. Yeah. Total of 18. Six uh three of each type, six different types. Just this step I'm on step one. I'm just this is the first step. And what people were saying this is the most grindy step, but I think they just want you to play the game. Cuz if they told you the truth, you'd probably leave and screaming. >> [laughter] >> Well, it's actually that's the hardest part. It gets better from there. Yeah, right. Ha ha. Don't tell them the truth. They'll leave. It's actually be a good way to level somebody from 90 to 100. Holy crap, my gear. Maybe I should be doing all jobs. Maybe I should be doing white mage. Actually, these are like 90 some of these are like almost close to 100, I think. Yeah, these guys are 87. I might try white mage. I can level up some all jobs doing these fates. Just spam holy. What level am I? Uh my white mage is 91. My warrior here is max. He's he's 100, but white mage is 91. Um I already leveled up two more tanks to 100. And I think I did I get a deep Oh, yeah, my uh paint the paint job is level 100 as well. So, I got I got a cat I got a level 100 in two categories. My highest oddly enough, my highest melee DPS is dragoon. How'd that work? Have not touched viper or beastmaster. Uh, bard, machinist, and dancer are sitting at 90. And pictomaster is what I leveled with um when the expansion came out and I got to 100. With the paintbrush. Blue mage is 70. I think the max you can get a blue mage is like 80 now. Um or 90, 80 or 90. Black mage 80, summoner 90. Red mage 80. As far as my crafting goes, they're kind of all over the place. Culinarian is 91. I pretty much grinded that at that special planet thing. And miner. Um Yeah, culinarian was 80 when I started it. And I got these three levels from just doing deliveries. And I I got tired of spending gil, so I was like, I'm going to stop doing this. Then again, did you hear that they uh this is on the switch now, switch too? So, people could be playing from work. >> [clears throat] >> That's quite possible. I said I was going to do um white mage. Hold on. I don't remember how to white mage chat. Don't laugh at me when I die. >> [laughter] >> Where's holy? That's all I need. Holy six. Which I'm not going to play right now cuz I don't I don't I don't have it at a good volume. It's probably going to deafen everybody. It's super loud. Like brrr. But that fart though. That's it right there. You cannot carry any more by color gemstones. Crap. Uh we got to figure out how to spend these. Buy by color gemstones. Mhm. And they will help it. You now have access to this region's gemstone exchange. Trade by color gemstones for a variety of rare and exclusive items. All right, what do you got? This is for hunts. But here's what I was talking about earlier with those of you who were here. Typical daily task for each if I were to play these games like daily. Uh, for American Truck Sim normal routes, make money. That's your typical session. New map exploration, so when a new state comes out, call it a new state. New state exploration when that comes out, you explore it, get all the achievements, all that kind of good stuff. 100% the entire map. Uh, community convoy days, which I don't think will happen, but I wrote it down anyway. Likely not happen. I've attempted to do this about 100 times and it never had never never works. Uh, mod extension reviews, um is something probably more suited for YouTube, but it could be a live stream. And then there's Flight Sim. Uh the challenges that are built in, daily flight round trips. Uh, new plane airport reviews and then there's career mode. And then for Final Fantasy, you have your dailies, maxed out crafting, maxed out all the jobs. Mount gear farming, the housing grind, farm gil, relic farm. That's probably not everything, but those are the major things that I do. Elite Dangerous, you got community goals, farm ground suits and weapons, engineer new ships, new ship reviews, and farm credits. And then finally Zomboid is like challenge maps and modes, excuse me. Zero to hero attempts, survival day count grind, uh, zombie kill count grind, and then there is mod reviews for that as well. So, these are your typical things. Like I said, I think Final Fantasy has the most variety, but it may not That may not be enough to make it the best option. And I was looking at ATS, I'm like, do I want to do that every day? I don't know. You know, normal trials normal routes make money is good for like a few a few days, but these other things, I don't know. Like this is probably not going to happen. Um, and then there's Flight Sim. The daily flight round trips can be fun. That's two words, probably. New planes, airport views, that's money. Guess I can put that. That's money. Career mode buggy at times. Challenges can be difficult, but fun to watch. Uh, lead dangerous community goals, these come and you go. So, there's going to be time in between them. Like I find stuff to do, then there's farm credits, which is probably number one activity is just like make money. New ship reviews, engineer new ships, and then farm the ground stuff. Yeah. So, that's it. How's the really grind going? Uh, it's very slow. I've literally just started it. And I've gotten two of the uh, What's it? 18 pieces. So, I'm literally just getting started. It It's pretty It's It's a thing. Have I been muted all this time? Oh, no. I think I have been. Sure, I can stream for an extra hour. For an extra hour. Yeah, I can do that.
