Video summary
The video features a reaction to the pilot episode of *Hazbin Hotel*, where the host and their guest express immediate shock and delight upon encountering the show's unique blend of high-quality animation, musical numbers, and adult themes. The initial reactions are dominated by awe at the art style and the juxtaposition of angelic singing voices with the chaotic setting of Hell, leading to comments about the production feeling like a mix between a Disney musical and an anime. Despite the explicit content involving prostitution, drug references, and graphic violence typical of the underworld setting, the reactors find themselves surprisingly entertained rather than repulsed, noting that the show manages to balance its mature subject matter with genuine heart and creativity.
As the episode progresses, the narrative introduces Charlie Morningstar, a princess of Hell who runs a rehabilitation center for sinners, alongside her assistant Vaggie and the cynical news anchor Katie Killjoy. The reactors discuss the central premise of giving demons a second chance at redemption, contrasting this hopeful concept with the harsh reality that most demons believe no one can be saved after their first crime. A significant portion of the reaction focuses on the arrival of Alastor, a powerful Radio Demon who initially threatens to shut down the project but eventually agrees to help under specific conditions. The dialogue highlights the tension between those who want to close the hotel due to safety concerns and Charlie's unwavering belief that anyone can change, even if they are considered irredeemable by others.
Throughout the viewing experience, the reactors frequently break character to comment on the absurdity of the situations, such as demons fighting over territory while singing show tunes, or the presence of a "pot shop" in Hell that is treated with comedic seriousness. They also joke about the heavy use of profanity and sexual innuendo, admitting that while they expected to hate the show for being too crude, they ended up enjoying the language as an authentic part of the Hellish atmosphere. By the end of the pilot, both the host and guest have shifted from skepticism to genuine appreciation, concluding that the show is a high-quality independent production that successfully merges dark humor with emotional depth, leaving them eager to see more episodes despite not having seen the entire series yet.

Who else could be in there? Me. Even me.
I'm kind of a sinner, too, bro. I've

Oh my god, I've never been that filthy.
Even I'm disgusted. I'm like the
filthiest reactor in the reactor verse.
And I'm even a little disgusted by her
language.
>> And out of trouble for two weeks now.
>> Breaking news.
>> We are receiving word that a new player
has entered the ongoing turf war. Let's
go through the live feed.
Oh [ __ ] Oh [ __ ] Indeed. It looks like
>> it's never a slow day here.
>> Is none other than porn actor
>> Angel dust.
>> All right. So that's going to be the
example. Apparently
>> you must feel really stupid right now.
[laughter]
>> Clickbait.
>> It sure looks like your little project
is dead on arrival. Tell us, how does it
feel to be such a total failure?
>> I believe in her.
>> Yeah. Well, how does
>> I believe in princess?
>> Huh?
>> I like her. Oh,

>> Pot shop. Well, sort of clean.
>> LITERALLY THE WEED SHOP, BRO. THIS IS
QUEENS.
>> CLEAN. As clean as you could get a
shitload of Bolivian marching powder.
>> Oh, harder, daddy. Son,
did he just say what I think he said?
Did he just say son?
Wait, unless it's because he called him
daddy, so he believed that was his son.
But was or was it actually his son?
No, that would be crazy. Oh my god, that
would be [ __ ] crazy.
>> No, no, no. Wait, wait. I don't know,
MAN. MAYBE HE BELIEVED IT. I DON'T KNOW.
[laughter]
>> You [ __ ] have no class in war. The
side remembered is the side with the
most style
>> or the side that ain't dead.
>> Speaking of style, is your hat like
alive or something?
>> All right, that's not his dad.
>> I got worried.
>> I was like, that's heartbreaking.
>> Would that make your hat the top and you
the bottom?
>> That's crazy.
>> I'm going to blow you to bits.
>> Oh, you're going to blow him, aren't
you, Dad?
>> Kinky. Oh, no.
>> I knew it. I [ __ ] knew it. I belong
in this show, bro.
>> Like that, pervert.
Pervert. You got to be a pervert if
you're here.
>> Not so cocky now, are we?
>> Pervert is a compliment here.
>> Really got to watch what comes out of
your mouth. I've been making these sex
jokes the whole time. And it's obvious
you ain't catching up. I mean, IT'S JUST
SAD.
>> SO, think you're going to get I like
these sex jokes.
>> What's one little girl?
>> Sex here, guys. Who would go there? Let
me know in the comments. Would you go
there?
>> My cause.
>> It's straightforward. Do you want to
[ __ ] Come here.
>> Come here.
>> You haven't changed. You know you're my
favorite [music] guy to party with.
>> What is sperm coming out of them?
>> You ready to finish?
>> Sugar tits.
>> Ready, baby.
[screaming]
>> Welcome to hell. [laughter]
666 shop.
Happy hotel. Boo.
Where's the homicide hotel?
>> Based.
>> What? What? WHAT? WHAT WERE YOU DOING?
>> I owed my girl buddy a solid. Isn't that
a redeeming quality? Helping friends
with stuff.
>> Not with turf wars that results in
territorial genocide.
>> Eh, you win some, you lose a few
hundred.
>> [ __ ] happens.
>> It wasn't that bad anyway.
genocide.
You know what I mean?
>> Come on. I had to. My credibility was on
the line. I mean, what kind of
reputation would I have if people found
out I was trying to go clean? It just
proves out my entire persona.
>> Your credibility? What about the hotels?
Your little stunt made us look like a
[ __ ] joke.
>> No, no, no, babe. Jokes are funny.
>> This is so [ __ ] up. I love it.
>> Sad.
>> I'm so [ __ ] up, man.
>> Like an orphan.
>> I'm such a [ __ ] No arms or legs. Uh
oh. With Progeria. [screaming]
>> How is this monetized?
>> Bummed thinking about it. Does this
thing have any liquor?
>> Can you please just try to take this
seriously?
>> Fine, I'll try. Just don't get your taco
in a twist, baby. Was that you?
>> Don't get your taco in a twist. I've
learned so many phrases because of this
one pilot episode so far. I'm going to
use them.
>> Trying to be sexist or racist? Whatever
pisses you off more. You have to be
sexist and racist in hell. It's the only
way.
>> Is there seriously no liquor in here?
I'm gonna kill him. Too late. But
>> I'm gonna kill him.
>> Would that make me double dead? Where
exactly do I go? To double hell.
[laughter]
>> You go to heaven.
>> That's your punishment.
>> Get used to it.
>> Literally, his punishment would be
heaven.
>> Listen, who cares if some Jags got hurt?
Most of them are ugly freaks. Look
around. We got a bunch of [ __ ] Harley
Quinn babies down here. want to talk.
>> Hey, this body is flawless. Everyone
wants some of me. And I got the creepy
fan that
>> You know what?
>> Hear me out.
>> To prove it.
>> Hear me out, guys. Hear me out.
>> That was really uncool. You know, Angel,
>> uncool. After that train wreck, there is
no way anyone
>> What is this heart to heart [ __ ]
she's trying to do?
>> To you and your selfish [ __ ]
>> Does that mean I don't have a free room
anymore?
Ah, well, shucks.
>> Hey, come on. We don't know if things
are over yet. Try to relax, Vaggie.
It'll be okay.
>> Is her name Maggie or Vagie? Because it
sounds like she's calling her Vagie.
The subtitle said Maggie.
I wonder if anybody's going to show up
at the hotel.
Um, excuse me. I I need rehab.
>> It's probably a good idea to get some
actual food in this place. You know, to
feed all the wayward souls you got in
here.
>> There would definitely be a McDonald's
in hell. [laughter]
>> Definitely.
Oh,
there's a heart in there. You know, I
felt it in that moment. There's
definitely a heart.
>> Mom, she's a mother
in hell.
>> Hey, Mom. Um, I know I keep calling and
you must be busy. Really busy. But um
the interview didn't go well and
I don't know if I'm going to make a
difference. I don't know what I'm doing.
I could really use some advice. Mom, I I
think Dad was right about me.
>> Damn.
>> Anyway,
>> of course the man is a piece of [ __ ]
long. Love you.
>> Am I right, ladies?
And dad's like, "You're going to be a

>> Hello.
>> He's here for rehab. It's your first
customer."
>> Radio demon is at the door.
>> What?
>> Uh who? What should I do?
>> Well, don't let him in.
>> I don't like the way he's sucking on
that.
>> May I speak now?
>> You may.
>> Alistister, pleasure to be meeting you,
sweetheart. Quite a pleasure. Excuse my
sudden visit, but I saw your fiasco on a
P.
>> Yeah, I'd close down a hotel if this guy
walked in. I'm not dealing with this
[ __ ] bro. Nope. This ain't worth it.
>> And I just couldn't resist. What a
performance. Why? I haven't been that
entertained since the stock market crash
of 1929.
>> [ __ ] that, bro. We're closing business.
>> Stop right there.
I know your game and I'm not going to
let you hurt anyone here. You pop this
cheesy dog show [ __ ] lord.
>> Dear, if I wanted to hurt anyone here, I
would have done so already.
>> Yeah, I believe that
>> here because I want to help.
>> SAY WHAT NOW?
>> HELP.
HELLO. IS THIS thing on? Testing.
Testing.
>> Well, I heard you loud and clear.
>> Um, you want to help with
>> this ridiculous thing you're trying to
do this hotel? I want to help you run
it.
>> But
>> okay.
>> Why does anyone do anything? Sheer
absolute boredom. I've lacked
inspiration [music] for decades. My
>> bro, if I'm bored, the last thing I'm
doing is working. work became mundane,
lacking focus. Aimless, I've come to
crave a new form of entertainment.
>> Does getting this reporter count as
entertainment?
>> It's the purest kind, my dear. Reality,
true passion. After all,
>> I'm going to be completely honest with
you guys. Just like with the amazing
digital circus, I am really [ __ ]
surprised how good this [ __ ] looks. Just
a YouTube video, bro. Look how many
views it has, too. 122 million deserved.
Seriously, this is so [ __ ] high
quality. From the voice acting to the
art to the music. It's just oozing with
talent, man. All over the [ __ ] place.
Even just looking at the background, the
environments, the pictures on the walls,
everything. Every sound effect, the uh
characteristics with the characters,
everything, man. Seriously, it's so
[ __ ] cool to me, man.
>> The world is a stage.
>> Little moment I wanted to have
>> a world of entertainment. [music]
>> I love how his voice changes.
>> Dumper. What? Wait, what?
>> HABILITATE A DEMON.
>> Of course not. That's wacky nonsense.
Redemption. Oh, the non-existent
humanity. No, no, no.
>> I don't think there's anything [music]
left that could save such lopsome
sinners. The chance given was the life
they lived before. The punishment IS
THIS.
>> [laughter]
>> NO SECOND CHANCES. [ __ ] yeah, man. You
know what? When I stole from the grocery
store when I was 7 years old, right then
and there, I should have been in prison
for life.
>> There is no one doing what is done.
>> So then why do you want to help me if
you don't believe in my car?
>> The world would be such a better place,
right? If everybody's locked up for
their first crime.
>> Consider investment in ongoing
entertainment for myself. I want to
watch the scum of the world struggle to
climb up the hill of betterment. Damn,
>> repeatedly trip and tumble down to the
fiery pit of failure.
>> That is [ __ ] crazy. I want to be
involved just so I can see people fail.
Holy [ __ ] That's like if I started a
workout problem and I want everybody
joining to get fatter and fatter so just
so I could [ __ ] laugh at them in
their despair.
messaging them, you fat [ __ ]
>> Yes, indeedy. I see big things coming
your way. And who better?
>> Keep eating.
>> Uh, so, uh, what's the deal with smiles
over there?
>> Wait, you've never heard of him before?
You've been here longer than me. The
radio demon. One of the most powerful
beings hell has ever seen.
>> Everybody in radio is a demon. Okay.
>> Decades ago, Alistister manifested in
hell. Seemingly overnight, he began to
topple overlords who had been dominant
for centuries.
>> This is crazy.
>> Raw power had never been harnessed by a
mortal soul before. Then he broke his
carnage all throughout hell just so
everyone could witness his ability.
>> Sounds like a good guy.
>> The radio demon.
>> Somebody calls him Satan. Many have
speculated what unimaginable force
enabled him to rival our world's most
ancient and destructive evils. But one
thing's for sure,
>> he's an unpredictable source of danger,
a wicked spirit of misty and a violent
monster of chaos. The life
>> sounds like a good guy, honestly.
>> Getting involved with unless we want to
end up erased.
>> You done?
>> He looks like a strawberry.
>> Is it over yet? Well, I don't look that
bad.
>> To be fair, do you trust any man? Any
men? Men,
>> Charlie, listen to me.
>> If he got a dick,
>> leave this creep.
>> I don't trust
>> just a happy face. He's a dealmaker.
It's pure evil. He can't be redeemed and
is most likely looking for a way to
destroy everything.
>> But that would go against the whole
hotel in a whole dream, right? If you're
going to kick this guy out, you might as
well just close the [ __ ] business.
What's the point of having a redemption
hotel?
You know what? I invite him in. Anybody
could be redeemed. That is the [ __ ]
message
>> we're trying to do.
>> I We don't know that. Look, I know he's
bad and I know he probably doesn't want
to change. But the whole point of this
is to give people a chance.
>> What I say,
>> things will be better. How can I turn
someone away? Chance.
>> Oh my god, that's her mom. And oh my
god, it's her mom.
Is she single anymore?
>> And have faith things.
>> Sounds like the dad's out of the
picture.
>> How can I turn someone away? I can't.
>> I'll be mom. I'll be whatever.
>> Everything I'm [music] trying to do,
everything I believe in. Just
>> trust me, I can take care of myself.
>> Whatever dad came in.
>> Whatever you do, do not
>> Could he be redeemed with him?
>> Don't worry. I don't think so. You
picked up one thing from my dad.
>> You don't take [ __ ] from other demons.
Yeah. Okay.
>> I'm sorry, bro. I would not be able to
run this place. I'd be against it just
like everybody else. I believe some
people are just beyond redemption,
right? Most people. Most people, not
some. Most people cannot be redeemed.
That's just how I see it. You [ __ ] up.
You know, you [ __ ] up. You're going to
[ __ ] up for the rest of your life, man.
I I don't know, man. You know, it's like
how you let criminals out of jail and
they just do the crime again.
This is why you don't let them out. You
just keep them there. So, Al, you're
sketchy as [ __ ] and you clearly see
what I'm trying to do here as a joke,
but I don't. Yo,
>> I think everyone deserves a chance to
prove they can be better. So, I'm taking
your offer to help on the condition that
there be no trickster voodoo strings
attached.
>> So, it's a deal then.
>> Deal with the devil.
>> Nope. No shaking. No deals. I
>> you got to earn my hand.
>> As princess of hell and heir to the
throne, I uh hereby order that you help
with this hotel.
>> Wow.
>> As long as you desire.
>> What a great first customer.
>> If he could change, anybody can.
>> Fair enough.
>> Cool beans.
>> That's the whole purpose of this.
>> Nobody says cool beans in hell.
>> Smile, my dear. You know you're never
fully dressed without one.
Wow, that's crazy. [laughter]
>> So, where is your
>> smile woman?
>> Uh, well,
>> you're going to need more than that.
>> And what can you do, my affeminite
fellow?
>> I can blow his dick. Dick.
>> [ __ ] no.
>> You're
>> I swear on my [ __ ] hairline on my
left right nut and my [ __ ] my [ __ ] head.
I never washed this before. I just
thought to myself, what could he do
realistically? And that's the only thing
that came to mind. And I was right.
>> Well, this just won't do.
>> What could you do? I can catch to liven
things up.
>> Little hell babies.
>> This island is nifty.
>> Nifty.
>> A little spider.
>> She's cute.
>> While they've made new friends.
>> Okay, she's [ __ ] weird.
>> Anyone here?
>> I'm sorry if that's rude. Where are the
dicks?
>> It really needs a ladies touch, which is
weird because you're all ladies. No
offense. Oh [laughter] my gosh, this is
awful. Nope. Nope. Nope. N.
>> Yeah, I squashed the [ __ ] out of this
spider. Shut up. Shut your [ __ ]
mouth.
>> Nope.
>> Freedom and wheat, boys.
>> I'd pray for a missile to hit this
hotel.
>> Hell what the [ __ ] is this?
>> YOU.
>> AH, HUSKER, my good friend. Glad you can
make it. Don't.
>> Not you again.
>> For me, you son of a [ __ ] I was about
to win the whole DAMN POT.
>> GOOD TO SEE YOU, TOO.
>> What the hell do you want with me this
time?
>> My friend, I am doing some charity work,
so I took it upon myself to volunteer
your services. I hope that's okay.
>> Are you [ __ ] me?
>> No, I don't think so.
>> I'm so glad I'm watching a show where
I'm not worried about the audience
watching my reaction and being turned
off with the way I talk because these
[ __ ] talk worse than me.
I feel like I'm competing with them.
>> A big [ __ ] riot. Just
>> I feel like a nice guy compared to them.
>> You think I'M SOME KIND OF [ __ ]
CLOWN?
>> MAYBE.
>> I ain't doing no [ __ ] charity job.
>> Well, I figured you would be the perfect
face to man the front desk of this fine
establishment. With your charming smile
and welcoming energy, this job was made
for you. Don't worry, my friend. I can
make this more welcoming if you wish.
What? You think you can buy me with a
wink and some cheap booze? Well, you
can.
>> Hey, hey, hey, hey. No, no bar, no
alcohol. This is supposed to be a place
that discourages sin. Not some kind of
now brothel man.
>> Shut up. Shut up.
>> We are keeping this. We are sucking dick
whether you like it or not.
>> Only if you watch me.
>> Oh my gosh. Welcome to the Happy Hotel.
You going to love it here.
>> This was quick.
>> Ability to love years ago.
>> No, no, I didn't. I'm married. But for
other people, I'll never love anybody
else. I love my wife. That's it. I don't
love anybody else.
>> This is amazing. [crying]
>> It's okay.
>> THIS IS going to be very entertaining.
>> They're a family.
>> One [ __ ] up family. Here we go. You
wish to tell and it's laughable. But
hey, what the hell?
>> What the hell?
>> You're one of a kind, a charming demon
bell. Now, let's give
>> this is like a uh if Will Woolly Wonka
just [ __ ] the devil.
>> These burning fools a place to dwell.
>> Literally Willy Wonka the devil.
>> Inside of every demon is a lost cause.
But we'll dress them up for now with
just a smile
with some old flare and show these
simple some proper class.
>> This is so [ __ ] good.
>> I thought I would hate every [ __ ]
second of this [ __ ] man. I'm over here
like this, man. I'm enjoying this [ __ ]
I might sing along with this one day.
Well, well, well. Look who it is
harboring the strike.
We meet yet again. Alistar,
>> do I know you?
>> Oh, yes you do. And this time I have the
element of surprise.
>> I'm so evil.
[laughter]
>> I'm so evil. Yeah. [screaming]
I think they should put this in
Disneyland. Be honest with you guys.
Honestly, [cheering and screaming]
>> it fits right in.
[groaning]
>> Put this right next to the Seven Dwarfs
ride.
There you have it.
>> Well, I'm starved. [laughter] Who wants
some jumbolaya? My mother wants
>> Luckily, he's in the rehab hotel.
>> In fact, it nearly killed her. You could
say the kick was right OUT OF HELL. I'M
on a roll.
>> Kick the hell out of him.
>> This is the start of some real changes
down here.
>> Literally, the tower of terror set
now.
Yeah, we got to change the name. Caspin
Hotel.
He's alive. Nobody dies in hell. You're
already dead.
>> Oh, well, you shoot me with your ray
gun.
>> Maybe you should join the hotel. I'm
going to be completely honest with you
guys, that was a lot. I don't even
remember any characters names. All I
remember is I actually did enjoy it. The
fact that it's not like this bigname
Hollywood studio behind it, it attracts
me a little bit more. I'm all about
showing love to independence. And this
whole pilot episode oozed. It It was the
embodiment of independence from the
music, the soundtrack, the characters,
the characteristics, the language. I
thought the language would throw me off
a little bit. Like, oh, it's corny.
They're cursing every other second, you
know? Like, it's too much. I don't like
movies where they're cursing every other
second. I think it's really [ __ ]
cringe, but I think it fits here. It's
the only way to talk. We're in hell.
[ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] You know
what I mean? I definitely need to see
more. I wouldn't say I love it, but I
really liked it. I really enjoyed myself
to the point where I actually do want to
watch more episodes. So, if you guys
want more episode reactions, if you want
me to pick up the series, like the
video. Let me know down below your
initial thoughts to Hasbin Hotel. I'm
curious what you guys thought when you
first watched the pilot. And make sure
you hit that subscribe button. But other
than that, y'all, that's going to be it.
I'll see y'all next [ __ ] time.
