This is high school wrestler Kaylee
Thompson and she is smiling and giddy
because she's got her opponent just
smooshed right underneath her. How do we
get to this? Well, let's take a look.
This is the US Marine Corps Junior
Nationals and Kansas has never crowned a
national champion in the 16 under girls
division, but Kaylee Thompson is trying
for it. The only problem is she's going
to get actually tangled up in a cradle
by Hoffman and that would tie the match
four four, but instead she escapes. She
gets into position. She knows she's
going to do it. She starts rolling,
starts maneuvering and at this point
she's like coach, watch this. Remember
when you taught me this? And Hoffman is
underneath being like, "Please
get off me." Like Lol from Little Big
League and it's not going to happen.
Twist the body. She wins. Unbelievable.
We're dancing. We're doing hearts. We're
smiling. We're having a blast. And if
you don't know the reference I said, I
need to show it to you because it's
beautiful and I edited the opening shot

Blaze, Alyssa Brito, has a fun heads-up
play here. First, she gets on base via

number 33 is on second base. That puts
her in scoring position. We get a single
through the hole to left field, but they
get the ball back in play. Brito's got
to hold up at third, but she's looking.
She's watching. Her eyes are huge. She's
off, she's running. The catcher wasn't
ready. No one was paying attention. She
scores. A delayed steal of home, if you
will. Advances on the incompetency of
the battery. The pitcher and the catcher
just were not paying attention, but you
know who was? Number 33.
Watch. This is the catcher walking the
ball back to the pitcher, kind of
talking to each other. Now, the catcher
turns her back to the pitcher and Brito
sees this and just takes off and the
pitcher has her back turned. So, now
she's got to turn and throw and nothing

between Ballard FC and Utah United in
the USL League 2. And it all comes down
to a very dramatic finish. Tied nil-nil.
120th minute and we've got a shot buried
by Yoshi Shelp for Ballard FC. They came
into the league in 2022. I think they
won in 2023. They've got the lead. They
celebrate like crazy. They were all
dancing in the crowd. They're coming
home. They're moving on to the
semi-final. Utah United last breath.
They miss it. Surely that's got to be
the end. You can't don't they're still
playing. We've got a corner kick. They
let it play on. One more play to the
middle. Bicycle kick by Nico goal.
Assist and it's tied up. Unbelievable.
The game won't end. 30 minutes into
stoppage time. 30 minutes into extra
time. More time. More time. Just more
time on the clock. It doesn't matter.
We're going to penalty kicks. A
shootout. A whole new thing. A new skill
set. It's not a team game anymore. It's
1 v 1. Ballard goes bottom left. Keeper
can't get there. Ballard keeper says, "I
know what you guys are going to copy and
I'm all over it. We go bottom left. You
go bottom left. You don't go bottom
left. You go into my hand. That is Noa
Numan." And they go left again. All
these righties just kind of pulling the
ball. Oh, no. Oh, Noa Numan. He just
kind of fell down. Anyway, two That's
nice and easy does it. Ballard has
scored their first three.
Utah stays in it though. Three Oh, that
leaves an opening for Utah. If they
score this, they tie it three a piece.
And guess what? No, they do not. Noa
Numan bam with another big save for his
club. The crowd surrounding him. They're
going crazy. He's firing them up. All we
need here is a goal and we get one
buried. And Ballard FC hangs on.
They thought they had it.
Devastatingly they didn't. And then they
come through an amazing performance by
Numan in goal for Ballard FC. Isaac
Robinson has finished as a runner-up
three times in 2026. Well, not today.
He's 20 under. He's in the lead on the
last hole of round two. He's putting
together a great a great tournament.
He's just throwing that disc, slinging
it down. And then
God smited him, and we don't know why.
This is some of the unluckiest stuff.
Now, he's got to land this shot
basically on the green. There's a ring,
and it's an island, and if you go
outside of it like that, it's a hazard
and a dropped putt and a stroke. What is
he supposed to do? How is that his
fault? He's It skips on. It should be
stopping. It hits, and instead of just
dying, it kicks up.
Unbelievable. Now, he's got to make the
drop putt for par.
He should be putting inside that circle
for birdie, finishing under 21.
Instead, he's got to make this for par,
stay 20 under. He puts it right in the
cha Oh, what the What is happening? He
puts it right in the middle of the
chains.
It's perfect. That goes and stays. I
mean, it's caught in the web. You're in
my web now. I've come to wrap you up

Friend in high school listened to that
song every morning for like 6 months.
That should stay in the chains. That is
some witchcraft. They just spit it out.
Those chains were like like a whale
eating a human and deciding
you're not a sea lion and spitting it
out. And he finishes now 19 under, gets
a bogey, ends up finishing fifth in the
tournament. I stand by Isaac Robinson.
He did nothing wrong.
Unlucky, they say. In Australia, they
say bad luck.
Oh, bad luck. We had some trickery in
the All-Star game in Pesäpallo. That was

they picked that runner off with pure
trickery. And this is East versus West,
so no one's really that mad about it.
But that guy's on first base. You're
right, it's over there by third. Oh my
god, did you see that play? Fakes like
he's throwing it back to the catcher and
pitcher in Finnish baseball, but instead
it's the no-look behind-the-back to the
defender covering. And look, he catches
it.
Oh, is he safe? I don't know how they do
replays in Pesäpallo, but I know that
they said, "Hey, you're out." Cuz that
makes for a better time. It was a trick
play. Now, this is also the stadium with
the river in play. They throw the ball
to second to get that guy out. Aaron
throw it skips up. It goes into the
river, which is in play. This defender
has to go get the ball and throw it to
his buddy, and he bobbles it. Now he's
sliding down. Oh, you got two in the
drink.
