Bill, you mentioned last outing that you
made some changes and I think that's
part of the reason why your stuff's been
ticking up. Just exactly what were those
changes that allows it to continue to do
so?
>> Yeah. Um I think it's a little posture.
Um just staying taller. Uh I think it
keeps me more in line, therefore uh can
fill the zone up and a little tick and
vo too.
>> When that happens, how does it help the
rest of your arsenal?
>> Yeah. Um,
you know, I think
I trust everything that I have, um, you
know, throughout the season. Um, even,
you know, when it wasn't going good
there for a minute, but obviously when
you can throw where you want to, um, you
can trust a little more. So, I think it
just makes the outing a little easier.
>> Look at that fifth inning, they made you
work a little bit. Classic 361
double play that just described the
emotion you were feeling when that was
completed.
>> Uh, yeah. Um,
you know, I saw the pitch count getting
up a little bit and so, uh, I was joking
with the guys. I was like, sometimes you
got to ground for those double plays
and, uh, we work on those a lot. So, big
spot, um, to get out of there with that.
>> How have you been able to handle it with
ease going starter, bullpen, back to
starter?
>> Um, I've said it before, my job's just
to go out there and get as many outs as
possible. So, um, whether that's in the
bullpen or starting off the game, um,
just trying to go, you know, get as many
as I can.
>> Most about the way Lombard has played.
He's been about about a month now with
the between the power and the [music]
defense.
>> Yeah. Um, I mean, he's young, but, uh,
he carries himself like, you know, he's
been around for a long time. um just the
stuff that nobody really sees um
grinding beforehand and stuff like that.
But uh even when he has, you know, you
know, a bad go, I feel like he's just
professional about it and keeps going
about his business. And like tonight,
the grand grand slam to basically seal
