Video summary

Ross returns to provide his preview and predictions for Sunday Night Main Event, expressing that he is primarily excited only about two matches: Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton and Oba Femi versus Braun Breaker. He admits to having little investment in the other bouts on the card, viewing the event as essentially a glorified house show with two potentially worthy main events spread out over Peacock's runtime. While he acknowledges that Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley are trapped in a feud involving Jade Cargill and the Vortex, Ross predicts they will secure the victory despite his lack of personal interest in the storyline direction for Jade or the women's division. In his analysis of the men's matches, Ross focuses heavily on the implications of Baron Corbin versus Little Yachty, noting that if Little Yachty can survive a five-minute time limit challenge, Trick Williams will receive an immediate United States Championship match. Ross predicts that Little Yachty will succeed in this challenge, leading to Baron Corbin losing the title back to Trick Williams, arguing that the current champion does not generate enough heat and that the championship strap should eventually return to its original owner. He then shifts his attention to the highly anticipated clash between Oba Femi and Braun Breaker, which he believes deserves a much larger stage than this PLE. Ross argues that for the Oba Femi versus Braun Breaker match to work as a compelling story, Oba must lose due to outside interference rather than being cleanly defeated, as a clean win would diminish Braun Breaker's standing as a future star. He suggests that the perfect way to extend this feud and build tension is through the return of Bronson Reed, who could assist Braun Breaker in creating a two-on-one situation against Oba. This narrative choice would allow WWE to showcase Oba Femi overcoming impossible odds while setting up further storylines leading toward Survivor Series. Finally, Ross outlines his prediction for the main event between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, asserting that Randy must win to properly advance their personal feud and break Cody mentally before a potential title match. He envisions Randy exploiting psychological tactics, such as taunting Cody's family or distracting him emotionally, rather than resorting to physical violence against loved ones, which he believes would be out of character for WWE on Peacock. By having Cody lose in this manner, the storyline can evolve into a long-term saga where Randy eventually faces CM Punk for his fifteenth title reign, only to have Cody exact revenge and set up a final stipulation match to conclude their intense rivalry.

What's good y'all? It's your boy Ross back at again with another video. So, I'm here to give my preview and predictions for Sunday night's main event tomorrow. Now, I'm be honest with you, there's really only two matches that I am actually excited for, and that is Cody Rhodess versus Randy Orton and Oba Fammy versus Braun Breaker. Those matches alone are something that I am really excited to see. And the other two matches, I'm going be honest as well. I'm I'm not really that invested in. I'm just be honest with you. I'm not that invested. The two matches that I just listed, Cody versus Randy and Oba versus Braun, those are selling the show in my opinion. And I think apparently uh is it Quo supposed to be doing a performance at the beginning of the show? I know they're going to be in Atlanta. You know, they love to hit us black folks up when they come to Atlanta. I don't really even too much care about that. And I, you know, I like Quo's music. I I don't even really care too much about that. I'm just here to see how things are going to play out between Cody and Randy and Oba and Femi. I mean, I said Oba and Feimi. Oba and Braun Breaker. But nevertheless, let's get into my preview predictions. There's only four matches on this show. So, I will say I do think they're going to give them time since this is going to be on Peacock. They allow the show these matches to breathe. So, we don't have to worry too much about commercial breaks. They will give these these guys and girls the time to actually cook up a good match. Um, this is basically a glorified house show except some of those matches, two of the matches themselves, you could have put them on a bigger PL like Money in the Bank or Survivor Series if you wanted to, but those are obviously spread out far from now. So, this is why they gave us this PLE, but I wouldn't even call it a PLE. It's literally a house show with two PL potentially worthy matches. All right, let's get into it. I'm going to start with the matches I'm not really that invested in. Uh, we're going to start with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley versus Jay Cargill. And the baddies featuring Me Chin and B Fab. Do I care? No. Um, I'm kind of over the Charlotte Flair, Jay, Cargill, Vortex, and then everyone else follows along. I I'm just not that invested. I'm not. Um, to be honest with you, I I think if I had to choose Charlotte, Alexa, and Tatum get the W. Could Jade and the baddies benefit? Possibly. But what are they doing with Jade and the Baddies other than having them feud with Charlotte, Alexa, and Tatum? Tatum just got added to the main roster. So, she's now unfortunately been trapped within this vortex. She's now a part of the vortex, the Jay Carill, Charlotte Flair vortex that I'm just I don't care for being dead ass. Could this match be good? Possibly. It could be pretty good. They're probably going to give them some time, but I'm just I'm not invested. I don't care. Honestly, I'm I'm ready for them to move on. I don't even know what you do with Jade. I really don't know what you do with her. I don't know what direction you take her in the baddies. Maybe the women's United States Championship route, but then you would have to feud them up with the other heels and uh with Fatal Influence. you have to feud them with them like both heel factions teams going at each other. I don't think that's going to work. So, I don't know. And I don't see her going for the the the WWE Championship right now. So, I I don't know what you do with her. But this match, they could have put something else on here in my opinion. They could have definitely swapped out something else, you know? Hell, if they would have really built some time, like built up some some more animosity, they could have did uh Julia versus uh Blake Monroe. They just now starting to cook that up, but they would have actually put some more time into that. They could have put that on there. This is This is just a Smackdown match. Honestly, you could put this on Smackdown, called it a day, it would probably get the same effect. But if I had to choose, I'm going Charlotte, Flair, Alexa, and Tatum to get the win here. That's about it. And we we go on to something else. Next, we got Baron Corbin versus Little Yachty. Here's the thing. If Little Yachty can last the five minute five minute time limit, uh Trick Williams gets a United States title match the same night. So, that's very interesting. So, if he can last, then Trick Williams gets that match. Now, I think honestly I think Lil Yachty lasts the five minutes. I do. I think Lil Yachty lasts the five minutes and I think we go ahead and get that match because I didn't even know it was going to be the same night. I legitimately didn't know if Baron Corbin loses, Trick gets that opportunity that same night. I didn't know that. I thought it was going to be at a later time, but that would be a five minute damn near match. So, for me, if you're going to put this on the show, Lil Yachty getting the win, obviously, I'm sure Trick will get involved in that or at least outlasting Baron Corbin for five minutes. I think that'll be fine. And then they'll set up a match with Trick versus Baron. And from there, if you're going to do it, I I you I'd have Baron Corbin drop the title cuz I to to be frank with you, I don't even know why they put the title on him so soon. Like, it's not really doing it's not moving anything for Smackdown to be brutally honest. is not I'm I'm not seeing people just really react to him in such a way where it's like, "Oh, we're glad Baron Corbin is the United States Champion." It's not moving any needles. So, if anything th this would be a good moment for Lil Yachty in Atlanta and then Trick ultimately gets his title back cuz it's still kind of baffles me that Baron Corbin has the title with the first strap. Which leads me to believe that if he still has the title with the first strap, then Trick at some point is getting that title back. Cuz I would have thought if he would have removed the first strap, that would have kind of been the indication, okay, Trick's not getting the title back. because this is a title that's essentially customized for Trick because I don't think the first strap is gonna stay on the United States Championship, nor should it. So that's why I was like, he got to be getting his title back, right? So I'm going with Lil Yachty lasting five minutes and then Baron Corbin facing Trick Williams that night and Baron Corbin losing the United States Championship. Put it back on Trick Williams and we go from there. So, that's where I'm going with it. Am I really that invested in this match? No, I'm not. I really don't care too much. As long as the results of Trick potentially getting the title back, I'm cool with it. It It's It's not something that I'm just like, uh, it's going to be a mustsea, but we'll see how it plays out. I'm just not that overly excited about it. But I'm going with Lil Yachty to last the five minutes and then Trick Williams getting the title back and being Baron Corbin if it does supposedly happen the same night. Now the matches that I really really really really really care about. Oba Femi versus Braun Breaker. What? Well, I mean I don't really have to say too much. This match deserves to be on a a bigger show for sure. I love how they built this up. I I like the idea of these guys trying to figure out who's really the future of WWE since Oba took Braun Breaker's spot. Oba legitimately took his spot. Now he's the most one of the most o over individuals upand cominging stars in WWE right now. He gets crazy reactions wherever he goes just like Braun Breaker was getting at one point. And I mean, he did retire Brock Lesnar and beat him twice in one year. So, I'm I'm I'm really hyped about this. Braun Breaker trying to prove why he deserves to be in that conversation. Paul Heymon being in the middle of this. I know some people are not going to like this. I don't think Oba's winning. Now, I know some of you like, why do you think that he just beat Brock Lesnar? He took a a a tombstone on the wood. What are you talking about? At SummerSlam and kicked out. What are you talking about? He took It takes seven F5s and one through a table to put Oba away. What are you talking about? What? How do you expect Oba to lose here against Braun Breaker? Well, simple. I think there's going to be some shenanigans. I don't think this is going to be a clear match and you need to extend this because if this is a one and done situation, Braun Breaker literally is not the guy, the next guy up. He would be a good number two behind Oba because that's what we would see as fans. If Oba just beats this guy clean, wipes his hands with him and go on by this day. Yeah, Braun is cooked. So to extend this and to really put Oba in a situation where the odds are stacked against him cuz you're building this guy up as someone that no matter how crazy the odds are, he overcomes it because he's just an unstoppable force. The only way this really works, there's got to be some shenanigans. And I think this the perfect shenanigans would be a returning Bronson Reed. Bronson been sending shots at Oba on on X and Bronson looks like he's in great shape. And if there's anybody that I can believe that would one assist Bron Breaker and two make it a very tough task for Oba by himself to overcome Braun and Bronson Reed would be uh well it would be Bronson Reed essentially like if there's anybody that can to make it like okay I can buy into Obelusion here not because he got beat up lean is because there was it was too much going on. You got a returning Bronson Reed, Braraw Breaker. Those two guys alone are packing up a lot of the roster and he's he's trying to overcome that. He wasn't able to. He probably gets blindsided. Didn't realize it. I think that's the way you go about it. And now you can extend this program because now there's going to be multiple matches, probably some stipulations at some point. And you know, Oba is going to want to get his hands on Bronson Reed, which I think that would be nice because you got to give Oba some really hard-hitting opponents where we can be like, you know what, I think this would be a good back and forth. So, I'm going I don't want to, but I'm going with Braun Breaker to get the win over over because of an returning Bronson Reed. because anybody else it's like Austin Theory that's light work. No, it's not gonna be Logan because he's still hurt. So, I'mma just go with that. I think that would be a perfect way to get Bronson back into the mix. And now you can extend the feud even longer from uh Money in the Bank damn near all the way to Survivor Series if you wanted to. So, that's where I'm going with. I love Oba, but the only way to make this really few work and extend it, Oba would have to lose because of Braun Breaker and Bronson Reed. So, it'd be like a twoon-one situation. And last but not least, Cody Rhodess versus Randy Orton. This is what we should have got at Wrestlemania this year. This has been some of the best stuff they've done on Smackdown. And I love when Cody is not just solely focused on the WWE Championship. It is a feud outside of it and it's personal. I love it. This is what I want to see more of. Have them have these type of feuds outside of the WWE Championship being the central factor. This was just them the way they've been building this up. The stipulation they can't touch each other until Sunday night's main event. If they do, they will never get a WWE opportunity uh WWE Championship opportunity again. the idea that Randy is rage baiting, trying to rage bait Cody to lose and telling Cody, you're just a perpetual good guy. You will never cross that line and tempting Cody. I love how they've been building this up. This has been fantastic. I don't even think it's done after this. And the only way you can extend this, Randy has to win. Randy has to win this match. He has to win this match. He does. He lost at WrestleMania. He has to win this match in Cody's hometown in front of his family and friends. He has to win to really truly set this idea that this may be something that ultimately changes Cody and breaks him where he snaps and he's willing to go to those dark places just to get rid of Randy. I'm here for it. have Cody lose here because if you have him win, the only way that works, you would have to have Cody just go off the deep end and just destroy Randy Orton. But Randy just came back, so it wouldn't make sense to kind of write him off TV. That's why I say Cody loses here. Now, how he loses, it could be a multitude of things. Maybe Randy does cheat and takes advantage of the situation. Or maybe it's a I can see a situation where Randy is basically causing Cody to lose himself to the point where he loses focus. He maybe says something to Ry's uh mom or his wife that may be a ringside or maybe his kids. I don't know. Maybe he says something and it causes Cody to get distracted. he loses it and ultimately ends up losing the match. It can be something like that, too. I They can do something. I don't think they're going to actually put hands on Cody's wife or his mom. I know some of y'all want that. No, Randy is not doing that. And this is on Peacock, guys. We got to remember where this is at. And WWE's not getting that role. Maybe if it was AEW, they would go that far. WWE's not doing that. But they can do something where Randy is walking up to his wife or walking up to his mom kind of like The Rock did and basically taunting his wife or his mom and disrespecting them. It can be something to that extent where it makes Cody [ __ ] lose it. It can be a situation like that. So, but I would have Cody ultimately lose and this kind of propels Randy and pushes him into the world title scene, the WWE Championship scene. But we're not done because you want to extend this feud and it could be a situation where Randy may has may have the opportunity to win number 15, right? Maybe he's about to face CM Punk. He's about to win number 15 where something happens where Cody gets his revenge and cost Randy the title and he doesn't get that opportunity and then they've set up one final match. Some stipulation of course to end off their feud uh for now. But I think from a story perspective, Randy winning here makes sense. Cuz if Cody wins and nothing changes about Cody, then this is pointless. Randy needs to be the one to win here so they can extend this further. And that's my uh Sunday night main event prediction. Once again, I got Charlotte uh Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum winning over Jay Cargill and the baddies. I got Baron Corbin not beating little Gotti before the fiveminute time limit is up. And then I have Trick Williams beating Baron Corbin for United States Championship. I have Oba losing to Braun Breaker with the assist of a returning Bronson Reed. And I have Cody losing to Randy Orton potentially because uh Cody is, you know, just out of it mentally and Ry's able to take advantage of Cody not being there mentally and you know something like that could possibly happen. And that's my predictions. It's a small card. Honestly, two out of four matches are the only thing I truly truly care about. Everything else is just like a eh. And that's the only reason why excited about Sunday night's main event is because of those two matches alone. At least we'll have an hour uh because I think it's probably gonna be a two-hour show. At least they those two matches alone could equal up to an hour worth of good entertainment. Hopefully the whole show is entertaining, but we'll see. But hey, comment down below. Let me know who do y'all have winning, who do y'all have losing for Sunday night's main event, and give your reasonings why down below. But I appreciate all love support. Road to 200k. Appreciate you taking me. See you on the next one. Peace.
