Video summary

The video presents a case study of Coach J, a basketball trainer who successfully transitioned her business model under the guidance of an expert coach. Initially, Coach J operated with a fragmented approach, offering one-on-one sessions, group training, and memberships at a low price point of around $100 per session. The expert identified this as inefficient and proposed a strategic shift toward exclusive, high-value programs rather than selling individual drop-in sessions. By rebranding the offering as a 90-day transformation package priced at $3,000, they created a sense of exclusivity and urgency that resonated with her existing contact list. This new strategy yielded immediate results, allowing Coach J to sell three spots within just two days before even fully launching the program, generating nine thousand dollars in upfront revenue. Following this initial success, the team executed a second promotion offering six months of training for the price of five, which further accelerated her income and filled her capacity quickly. The combined effect of these two high-ticket promotions significantly boosted her monthly revenue compared to her historical earnings. The core philosophy behind this approach is to move clients away from short-term, sporadic training commitments that often lead to a loss of progress when athletes return to their regular seasons without consistent guidance. Instead, the goal is to lock customers into long-term commitments, such as six or twelve-month programs, ensuring they receive continuous development and that the coach maintains a steady income stream. This model benefits both the athlete, who avoids starting from scratch after short breaks, and the business owner, who secures recurring revenue without relying on constant new client acquisition for every month of service. The strategy relies heavily on introducing something entirely new to the client list to trigger a psychological shift in how they perceive the value of the training. By launching these exclusive offers rapidly, the coach forces potential clients into a mindset that recognizes the program as premium and limited, prompting quick decision-making and higher conversion rates. The transcript highlights that this method is not unique to Coach J; another coach utilizing similar promotional tactics generated ten thousand dollars in upfront cash within twenty-four hours. These examples demonstrate that the key to scaling a basketball training business lies in creating high-value, time-bound offers that encourage long-term dedication rather than treating coaching as a commodity sold on a per-session basis. Ultimately, the video concludes by emphasizing that most trainers fail because they do not implement these structural changes to their pricing and commitment models early enough. The expert notes that he does not work with every coach individually due to the intensive nature of his one-on-one program, but he remains open to helping those who have studied his previous case studies and are serious about elevating their business. He operates on a system where limited spots for individual coaching are available temporarily; once those are filled or closed, clients are directed toward his group coaching programs. This structure ensures that coaches can focus on high-impact work while building sustainable businesses that provide consistent value to athletes and financial stability for themselves.

All right, coach. Welcome back to the channel. In today's case study video, I'm going to highlight a basketball trainer that I'm working with. Her name is coach J, and she is an awesome coach. She's been an awesome client of mine, and I'm going to bring this up here so you can see this for yourself. So, if I scroll down here, you're going to see Whoops. You're going to see here what we've done recently. And I'm just going to show you the pathway that she took at the beginning working with me and what she's done up to this point. So, the very first call I had with her before she signed up to work with me, I looked at the model that she had. And her model was she had one-on-one training, she had group training, she had some people on memberships, she had some people paying per session for like group training or one-on-ones. And I said, "Hey, what we're going to do here is we're going to put a new program together. And it's going to be a 90-day transformation. And I believe in the past [snorts] she was selling like I think it was like $100 or close to $100 for one-on-one sessions that were like one-off. And I was like, "Well, what we're going to do is we're going to create a more exclusive program. We're going to add way more value to it, and it's going to be for 90 days. It's not going to be a 12-month thing. It's not going to be an individual session type of thing that people can buy. I saw that she had a strong contact list where, you know, she was already emailing, she was already texting, she's already kind of marketing and promoting a little bit. Um and I was like, "Let's put together a brand new program, and let's promote it. And let's get this out there. And let's sell three spots of the 90-day transformation within like the next couple of days. And we priced it out. It was $3,000 per person. All right? So, $3,000 if her goal is to hit three clients with that, she's going to make nine grand. She did that literally within like 2 days. This is before she even started working with me. She did that on off off off of straight off our intro call. And >> [snorts] >> of course, she joined my program after that cuz she already had way more than enough money to join. And and then right after that, I was like, all right, we're going to run another promotion. And we're going to run a different promotion here. It's going to be buy 6 months, get 2 months free. And she run ran that. And what you see on the screen is exactly that. So, you can see here. So, she said, two spots left now. Also, everyone has paid in full. Filled the five spots. So, at the very end of last month, she ran two different promotions. So, she ran the 90-day transformation and then she ran a buy 6 months, get 2 months free. And everyone pays pre-pays for the 6 months. With those combined, she made a lot of revenue. Way more than what I feel like she's ever done in the past just based off of those two things combined. All right? Cuz we're not getting a lot of clients to buy it. We're just getting a small amount of people to buy something that's more expensive. Even since then, she sold, I believe, three other people on the 90-day transformations. So, she's done, I think, close to 15 or 18,000 dollars worth of 90-day transformation packages. And what we're doing in her business specifically is we are going to shift her into the model where she's going to be selling six or 12-month commitments only. And the reason why most coaches at this point get to me and they want to go into that model, it's because what we're seeing is you could get a lot of clients in this industry. You get a lot of clients in your program. If they're not that committed though, if they're training with you like a couple months and then they go away, and then they come back, you're not actually helping that kid. Because when they go back into their season and they stop training with you, everything that they learned with you kind of goes out the window, and then when they come back with you, they're starting from scratch. That is not good for the customer, and it's not good for your business cuz every month they're not with you, you're not getting paid, and you're not helping them develop when they're not with you. So, what we want is we want your customers to become way more locked in. And this is why for the coaches that qualify to do my one-on-one program, we run a promotion very fast in your program to generate money because it's going to be a new thing that your customer list has never seen in in their life, and they're going to respond quickly to that. When we do that, that gets them in the mindset of okay, this program's changing. This program's more exclusive. This program is way more valuable. I do that really, really fast with coaches at this point. And this is just one example. I have another example I'm not going to show you in this video, but I have another example of a coach who did the same promo that I just talked about, did $10,000 in 24 hours. And that's upfront cash. That's not like money that he's getting over the next 6 months. That's upfront money now, and that is recurring money in 6 months from now. So, if you're watching this video and you have a high interest in talking to me and actually getting my help, I don't work with tons of coaches at this point, especially one-on-one cuz I give you all of my one-on-one time, all of my one-on-one expertise and experience. Um but, what I'm showing you here, this is the software that I use for my one-on-one program. I have a couple of spots that are open right now, and then once they're they're closed or once they're done taken, I shut that part off, and then everybody's is forced to join my group coaching program. That's how I operate my business. So, if you're watching this, you truly want to grow your business to the next level, you've watched enough case study videos of mine over the past couple years, and you want to chat, Go below here, go book the call with me. I'd love to chat with you and see if it's a good fit. Thanks so much. See you later.
