[Music] It's really jumped out for me uh again the potential that New Zealand has um the ideas and the solutions that we have within our fellowship and within New Zealand to be able to affect change. We have mindblowing talent and capability and actually we've got all the pieces. We've got the desire, we've got the will, we've got the forming of the connections and now all we have to do is activate it. And I truly and fundamentally believe that this fellowship in partnership with New Zealand leaders could fundamentally transform the future of this country. I mean, it is a base camp in the sense that it's a it's a place of refuge today in a in a world that's increasingly chaotic, but it's not enough by itself, right? Um, we need to push the envelope on innovation, on technology, on making this a place where people like myself and the other amazing people here can bring all those different perspectives to the table and be heard and be part of the conversation. New Zealand has this incredible opportunity as an island, as this relatively contained economy and ecosystems that are so diverse, diverse people, diverse nature that they can bring together to be a place where we can pioneer, where we can test new ideas, test new technologies at the right scale. It's still large enough to be highly relevant for scaling to the world and yet it's a place where we can test it out with a diversity of inputs and a diversity of resources and the beauty here is such a wonderful place where of course innovators want to come and spend time. >> Um I also think what the fellowship is doing in trying to establish New Zealand as a base camp for social innovation throughout the world is vital. I think we need it right now in the in the earth globally. I think it's an opportunity to show this example to the world. >> The base camp for a better world really spun my wheels. I listened to that and I thought this really talks to me. I've always believed New Zealand can be that place. There's so much potential to connect with the Edmund Hillary um fellowship and also the organization as a whole so that we can link arms and move together at pace because I think now's the time. We can't keep delaying doing things that are really really important for now and for future generations. So, we've just got to do this together better. It's way more fun. And so, I'm I'm really looking forward to more of that. >> Uh I love the tagline of New Zealand being a base camp. Um I love that. Uh and over the last day or so, I've been uh talking to a number of um fellows who really want to bring their technology and solutions to New Zealand.
