Um, I am a fan of Tyler Perry. And when I say that, I'm more of a fan of his earlier work, not much of his later work. and the Why Did I Get Married franchise is more of his earlier work. I like the first one. I like the second one. Um, and like I said, most of his earlier work is um, you know, is great. Also, Family That Praise is one of my my favorite films. If you look on my homepage, I have a Tyler Perry Black Movie Marathon. Remember when Finding Joy came out on Prime Video November of 2025? I was like, let me go back and see as many Tyler Perry movies as I can. So, I have my review right here for Why Did I Get Married Too and No, Why? Yeah, Why Did I Get Married Too and Why Did I Get Married? And um you can just go and look at the playlist right there of all the Tyler Perry movies I've done. But if we scroll up here to spoilers reviews, you will see that uh I have a spoiler review with Kimberly. Uh here she is right here. Um, also I have a spoiler uh review for Media's Family Reunion and Diary of a Mad Black Woman with Kimberly right there. The reason why I am saying all of this is when this new movie comes out, Why Did I Get Married Again, September the 9th on Netflix. Um, I'm going to release the spoilers review for Why Did I Get Married, the first one, and like Why Did I Get Married 2, the second one, the sequel, uh, the same week of September uh, the 9th that this this third one comes out. So, September the 9th is a Wednesday. So, I'll be I'll be releasing a spoiler review for Why Did I Get Married on Monday the 7th, and Why Did I Get Married 2 on Tuesday the 8th. and then I'll release the the new movie review on on the 9th and then the spoiler review on the 10th of uh September. So, if you guys are interested, that is one reason why you can subscribe. But um yeah, Tyler Perry, we all know him. I I got a ton of respect for the guy. My only concern is that Janet Jackson is not in the movie. She's not in the credits. She's not in the trailers. Uh word on the street is I think it was Michael J. White stated that in the film they're going to have a line of dialogue or two to kind of explain uh you know where she is. Uh hopefully she didn't die off screen or anything like that. I don't know. Maybe she's writing a book somewhere or having sex with the rock. I don't know. But at the end of the sequel, you know, after she kind of killed her husband Gavin, which really sucked, you know, she's walking and The Rock pulled up and was like, "Hey, I like your book. You know, it helped me in some dark times. I want to take you on a date. Let's go get some coffee. And she Okay. So, we don't know what happened after that. And I I want to know uh cuz Janet, she's a great actress. I really enjoyed her role in the first two films, you know, Miss Perfect Patty and all of that, but everybody else is back. And it looks like the plot is the son of Tarashi P. Henson is going to get married to the daughter of Angela and Marcus. Uh, I could be wrong. And what is going on? What relationship are they hiding? You know, saying like, "Oh, did you know what was going on?" Jill Scott's character, Sheila. Um, and so that's interesting. Um, it was funny, and I'm I'm for real, Tyler P. Like, no shade, my brother. No. But these wigs, man, what's going on? Maybe you did it on purpose because they did address that in the trailer. So, you know, I guess it's some type of inside joke trolls. Like, I think it's the hair. So, that's interesting. But, uh, I'm I'm really looking forward to this, man. I I I really am. I really am. Uh, when it comes to Tyler Perry, I still have not seen his last one that uh yeah, Tyler Perry Joe's uh college road trip. I started it and then 10 minutes went by and I was like, "Okay, I got to do something else." And I never went back. But I did see Tyler Perry's finding joy. I did enjoy that one. I thought Straw was awful. Uh, Duplicity was pretty entertaining until the last like 10 minutes and they jumped the shark. They nuked the fridge. They they really dropped the ball at the last 10 or 15 minutes. Uh, but the tricks the the tricks the 68 was was great. I really did enjoy that. So, you know, it's like a flip of a coin with Tyler Perry. You know, like half of his movies I like, half of them I'm like, "My guy, what are you doing?" But I think this is going to be a good one right here. Um, I'm going to cover it. Uh, I'm going to give you guys a a non-spoiler review and then a spoiler review uh with Kimberly right here. Um, do I have any Let me let me look at the trivia section real quick to see if they mention anything about Janet Jackson. This is the third motion picture launch film trilogy. The film marks the first oncreen appearance of Michael Drawad and Tasha Smith as Marks and Angela since their roles in Why Did I Get Married television spin-off for better or worse. Okay, I didn't watch that. This is the fifth. Yeah, this is the fifth Tyler Perry film in which to Tawaji P. Henson has appeared and making her one of the actresses who has worked with him the most often. Her and Tyler Perry films include The Family That Praise, I Can Do It Bad All by Myself, which were great movies. Those two, the Family That Praise, I can do a bad All by Myself. I love those. Acrimon and Straw were trash. So, out of the Tyler Perry um Taraji P. Henson teamup movies, in my opinion, they are two for two. Two good ones and two bad ones. All right. So, well, why did I get married again? Be the tiebreaker. I think so. And I I think that's fair. I think that's fair. I mean, you know, a lot of people like to hate on Tyler Perry. I'm not trying to do that. You know, I can say when something's good, I can say when something's bad. But Aquamon, it was awful. But anyway, y'all can go check out my review for that. Um, yeah. Yeah.
