Whose Feedback About Your Marketing Should You Actually Trust?

Video summary

The core argument presented in the video is that creators should prioritize feedback from proven buyers over general opinions, as only those who have already spent money with a business truly understand its value and fit. The speaker emphasizes that while casual comments or suggestions from non-customers are essentially noise, the reactions of actual purchasers are the only metric that matters for survival. If an audience member sees content multiple times without making a purchase, it is a clear signal to stop selling that specific product immediately rather than trying to tweak minor details like grammar or sentence structure. When faced with low conversion rates despite high visibility, the speaker advises taking decisive action by either discontinuing the current offer entirely or pivoting to a different audience through strategic collaborations and networking. This approach involves reaching out to community leaders or hub owners to ask if their specific followers are likely to buy the product; if the answer is yes, a partnership should be pursued, but if not, the creator must return to the drawing board with a new idea. The philosophy here is rooted in honesty and efficiency, suggesting that wasting time on minor edits when the fundamental market fit is wrong is a form of self-harm that prevents business growth. The speaker concludes by dismissing the need for expensive courses or complex business strategies, asserting that the bottom line is simple: if people are not buying, change the product or the audience, regardless of what other experts say. Even if an offer has grammatical errors or feels like a raw stream of consciousness, it can still sell effectively if it resonates with the right people, whereas perfecting the wrong message will never work. Ultimately, the video encourages creators to trust their data on actual sales rather than external validation, noting that no business expert can guarantee a fix for an offer that simply does not connect with its intended market.

So it's not about the feedback I'm going to give you right now cuz it doesn't matter. Cuz I'm not your market. You see what I mean? Like I'm not in your audience. Like if I was like the main buyer for you and you like I was like I've spent a lot of money with you. Yeah, you spend my my feedback matters. Your client's feedback matters cuz they've spent money with you and if they're going to tell you this thing is off, feels off, you should listen. Cuz if they're a proven buyer, a proven buyer, whatever they say, you should listen. Classmates like this, I don't know. I mean maybe the maybe all of us are like proven buyers to each other or like very similar to proven Okay, then I get it. But still I I I've I'm suspicious of feedback is all I'm trying to say. I'm very suspicious of feedback. The only feedback that I trust is I'm going to ask you, "Did you put this out there yet?" Oh, "How many people saw it?" "How many times did they see it?" E- E- Even if they saw it even if like 500 people saw it once, but nobody bought it, I'm going to say kill that product. I'm just going to be honest with you now. That Now that I can. I've been trying to be honest with you the whole time, but like I feel this new sense of new new sense of liberation. I'm going to I'm going to be straight up with you, right? Really really honest with you now. I'm just like stop selling that thing. You either stop selling it or sell it to a different audience. You Obviously your people aren't buying it. If if they saw it once, it's and nobody bought it, it's already scary to me. If they saw it two or three times and nobody bought it or too few people bought it, I'm like, "What are you doing?" What are you doing? Seriously. Like are you going to keep hurting yourself? Cuz I hurt for you and I don't want you to keep hurting yourself. If they saw it three times and you still sold very little, you need to do one of two things. Stop selling it, sell something totally different, or sell it to a different audience, which means you have to go and do some net caring, you have to go and do collaborations, you have to as as Tad says, hubs. You have to go to hubs that are likely to buy this kind of thing. You ask the hub owner or the hub sent the hub facilitator, the person who are is bringing all these people together on their email list or their social media. You ask them, "Are your people likely to buy this?" Cuz if if if yes, then we should try to sell it together. If not, don't worry about it. I'm going to go back to the drawing board. I'll bring you something else. Do you see what I mean? Like this is my entire philosophy now. And now I can die happy because I've told that to you. And honestly, I'll tell you everything else is noise. You don't have to buy any of my courses. You don't have to do anything else with business learning. I've just given you the bottom line. Now, all everything else is details. Now we can talk about all the details. Seriously, this is it. It's It's No business expert, not Tad, not me, not you know, whoever else you follow, is going to be able to say, "Yeah, this is No, let me Let me fix it for you and now it's going to sell." Cuz you've noticed that's happened before and it hasn't sold, right? Has anyone noticed that? You've gotten feedback from Tad even or anybody and you went out and did it and and it still didn't sell. Now, I'm sure Tad is I I know Tad's smarter than me and he probably gives you feedback about the offer itself to say, "Hey, is it a good fit for your niche?" Right? Very smart because then you go, "Well, it's if it's not It's not a good fit, it's probably not going to sell." So, he talks on that level rather than, "Hey, let's fix that sentence here." Because that sentence doesn't matter. You can be You can be stream of consciousness voice note and sell and have a full program. Obviously, grammatically, you can just obviously use you know, Grammarly or whatever you want to use to fix it so it's not horrendous. But it it it can be have a lot of mistakes. It just needs to be stream of consciousness. It's what I'm thinking. So, And then just have it like lightly by ChatGPT if you want to, whatever, or just yourself. And then it could sell great. Okay, so with that,
