Video summary

The video explores the profound theological significance of two of Allah's names, Al-Ahad (The One) and Al-Wahid (The Unique), which both signify absolute oneness but with distinct nuances. While Al-Ahad emphasizes negating any possibility of plurality or division, effectively stating that there is nothing other than the One, Al-Wahid focuses on the intrinsic unity within Allah's essence, names, attributes, and actions, asserting that no one shares in them. The speaker explains that these names serve to refute false beliefs such as the Trinity or dualism found in other religions, clarifying that Allah is entirely unique, self-sufficient, and incomparable to His creation. This distinction helps believers understand that while all prophets delivered a single core message of worshipping the One God, this concept is rooted in the specific attributes of these divine names. To properly affirm these names, the speaker outlines five rigorous conditions established by scholars for any term to be considered a name of Allah. First, the text must be authentic, appearing in the Quran or Sunnah. Second, the word must be linguistically suitable as a noun and not a verb. Third, it should stand alone without being attached to other words that might alter its meaning. Fourth, the name must contain a description of perfection or an attribute, distinguishing Allah from concepts like "Time" which are merely descriptions of functions rather than divine attributes themselves. Finally, the attribute described must be absolutely perfect; for instance, while humans can be called "plotters," Allah is only named as such if it implies absolute perfection in planning, unlike human schemes which are flawed. These conditions ensure that believers do not inadvertently attribute imperfections or limitations to Allah when using His names. A central theme of the discussion is the prohibition of asking "how" Allah performs actions like rising above the throne or hearing, as doing so implies a comparison with creation that contradicts His oneness. Since there is nothing in existence to compare Allah to, human logic cannot comprehend His methods; one can only know what Allah and His Prophet have revealed about Him. The speaker emphasizes that any human imagination regarding Allah's nature will inevitably fall short of His true majesty, as He is infinitely greater than anything the mind can conceive. Consequently, believers must rely solely on revelation rather than speculation or analogy to understand Allah's attributes, avoiding the mistake of anthropomorphizing Him by projecting human qualities onto the Divine. The video concludes by summarizing eight key benefits derived from understanding Al-Ahad and Al-Wahid, ranging from negating rivals and imperfections to affirming that all perfection belongs exclusively to Allah. These names dictate a believer's responsibility to declare with conviction in their heart, tongue, and actions that Allah is the sole Creator, Sustainer, and Lord deserving of worship. The speaker highlights that associating partners with Allah, even slightly, contradicts these names and leads to disbelief, as evidenced by the reaction of disbelievers who reject the mention of Allah alone but accept Him when associated with others. Ultimately, reflecting on these names strengthens a believer's faith (Iman) in Allah's absolute uniqueness, ensuring that their worship is directed solely toward Him without any diversion or compromise.

So now we come to the name of Allahawel al and his name Alw. Who does the kingdom belong to on that day? It belongs to Allah alwah. So there is no chance for you to seek safety from anyone else. Not from Giblam, not from the prophet sallallah.aihi wasallam let alone from those people that they call upon as rivals with Allah. Nobody is going to save you on that day because Allahawel is and allahel said this ayah alone it destroys any false belief about Allah's names and attributes. It is not possible for anyone to take this ayah properly and then make a mistake in Allah's names and attributes. Why? Fore [singing] smile. Alhamdulillah. So before we get into the next name that we're going to cover and that is the name of Allahawel and al some of the brothers asked a very good question they said that some of these names come in the Quran without al so they come for example Example, for example, not that comes with uh which one did we do so far? Some of the names that we did so far that came without on the front. How do we know? For example, for example, how do we know this is a name of Allah if it didn't come with the for this they put some conditions and one of the authors who mentions the the he mentions five conditions. The first one is The first one is that the text has to be authentic either in the Quran or the Sunnah. So anything that doesn't come with an authentic text that's not from Allah's names. That's the first thing. Either the name has to come Quran or the name has to come in the authentic that this word is a word which in itself is a name. It's a word which is a name in the language. For example, is the word is it a word that has yes it is. You can say it is a word in the language that is suitable to use as a name and they say it has to have there should be nothing in the language that prevents it being a name of Allah. Nothing in the language which would prevent it being a name of Allah. So there could be some things linguistically it's not a name. Linguistically it isn't a name. For example, let me give you an example. A verb cannot be used to produce from it a name. You cannot take a verb. for example, a verb uh you can't uh or something. For example, you can't use a verb to prove a name. You need it to be in the form of a a noun that is suitable to use as a name. It doesn't matter that it came with or without, but it has to be a noun that is suitable to use as a name. It should not come attached to anything else. It should not come attached to anything else. As for There is a a for it in that is a separate topic. For example, all of these there is a topic the scholars speak about it separately. But for us to find a name like that we need it to come by itself not to be attached to any other word. not to be attached to any other word. The fourth condition, the name has to contain an attribute. That name has to contain an attribute. So any name that doesn't contain an attribute, this is not a name of allahel. Like in the hadith. Like in the hadith, the son of Adam speaks badly of me. The son of Adam speaks badly of me. He curses time and I am time. I make the night move into the day and the day move into the night. There is no wasp from it. There is no attribute inside of it. It's just a a name. So it cannot be a name of Allah. Even though Allah said it cannot be a name of Allah. Time cannot be a name of Allah. Rather the meaning of I am time is that I make I control time. That's the meaning of the name I am time. Time is not Allah's name. Allah explains, "I am time. I make the night move into the day." That's the meaning of I am time. It's not a name of Allah. And the fifth that the description found in that name must be absolutely perfect. And for this reason we do not say we don't say that Allah is the plotter. Why don't we say that Allah is the plotter? And Allah said Allah is the best of those who plot because it is not it is not abs it's not a name that is perfect in every way rather it has to be contextualized. It's perfect if you contextualize it but it's not if you don't. If you say that someone is a plotter, a planner, a schemer, it doesn't give you that meaning of perfection. But if you say the enemies plotted and Allah plotted in response to their plots. So there is no problem with this. But here it needs for a name it needs to have that condition. It needs to be a name that is perfect when you mention it like that. Al J al it has to be a name. When you mention it, it's perfect. But they didn't say that it has to come with al. They didn't. The only thing they said is it has to have it has to be anam suitable linguistically to use as a name. That's what they said. So this is something you can go back to it in a book which is called uh let me see it's called. So as we said that was just a little introduction just to give us the idea or the understanding of how sometimes these names come without uh al and we affirm them as a name of Allahawel. So we gave the conditions for that you can go back to that book uh by Dr. Mahm Abdak I think is his name you can find in that book he mentions it and it's mentioned in many other books even some of the of you can also find it in there but this is it's just a nice way he mentions it each one 1 2 3 4 5 in a way that's easy to understand and there are also examples and so on in there so now we come to the name of Allahawel alad and his name Now I think most people know that these two names indicate the oneness of Allah. They indicate the oneness of Allah. But someone could ask what's the difference between them. I'm going to tell you about it now so that when you're listening to what the sheh says, you can keep it in mind and see evidences for it throughout what the sheh says. So as for a it came with both of them mean one but it came with the meaning of negating more than one. That's why you say in the language and you don't say you don't say didn't come you say so is used to negate more than one nothing other than that one. As for it indicates the oneness of Allah in himself in his names and attributes and actions and that no one shares in them. So if you have a look at that you will see that one is towards the negative i.e mean not having more than one and one of them is to do with the oneness in terms of being the only one who does uh what he does subhanahu wa ta'ala uh I think I covered the points I wanted to make in that now and they have other opinions some of the scholars have other opinions about it as well uh some of them said that is he's the only one who has his names and attributes and actions and he doesn't have any competition in that and they said some of them said that and some of them said that that it gives you the meaning that the number is one absolutely one not two Not three, not four, only one. And is to do with oneness. Let's listen to what the sheh said because it will become clearer through the examples. the he said. As for al came in one place in the Quran in surahlas say he is Allah who is he is one meaning one he is not two or three or divided into a trinity or any of the or divided into two like the Majus did because remember the Mus divided their gods into two or they call it or something like that they call it or they say there's a god of good and a god of bad and a god of light a god of As for the Christians, they divide it into three. So they said the father and the son and the holy spirit high is Allah above what they attribute to him. And Allah said Allah he is one. And if you look at this surah, you can also say that all of what follows in the surah is an explanation of his name. That is a valid point. You could argue that everything that comes in the surah after that is a of the meaning of his name al. So he is al he is why is he a why is he the one that every single one needs him and he doesn't need anyone because he's alone in that he's alone and so maybe you could say something like the one who is alone something like that that's also an explanation of Allah's name that he didn't have any he was never born and he didn't have any children. Therefore, if he was never born and he didn't have any children, so he is one and there is nothing that is equal or comparable to him. So he is there is nothing else that can compare to him. So this is part of the uh meaning of the he said about this surah. He says this is the great surah that the sunnah tells us it is worth a third of the Quran. Why is this surah worth a third of the Quran and why is it called? There are different reasons why it's called but the sheh mentions one here that this surah has been singled out. The meaning of las can mean to single out. So here they say las means the surah has been singled out for one thing only and that is to tell you about Allah's names and attributes. So it doesn't have any mention of Jenna or the fire or the stories of the prophets or theam the the related rulings of halal and haram or any of the other topics of the Quran. It is something which is purely and singly for one reason to tell you about Allah's names and attributes and that is why it is said about it. It's worth a third of the Quran. A third of the Quran. Even some of the scholars brought the meaning like that. They said a third of the Quran because a third of the Quran comes with that Allah's names and attributes and actions and so on. And some of them and he mentioned other reasons as well. The other reason of course that it could be called las is because it invites us to have in our worship with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. The sheh then says as for Allah's came in many different places in the Quran from it is the statement of allahawel. your God is one God. This is an example of what we said about by the way uh we said about the name not coming with. So this is an example just out of benefit. Is it suitable to use with al? Is it suitable to be a name for Allah to say alah it is linguistically it is suitable to use as a name. Did it come connected to anything else like as a you know like or did it come it didn't come it came by itself and then all the other conditions it does it contain a wasp yes it contains the wasp of divinity and the right to be woripped. Is it perfect? Yes. Therefore, all of the conditions came. It's authentically reported in the Quran. It's linguistically suitable to be a name. It contains a description of beauty and perfection. Uh and so on. But as for your God is one God. There is no god worthy of worship but him. He is alman and alim. And it came also in the statement of Allahawel. Are many separate lords better or Allah al the one that was in the statement of the dawa of to the people in the prison when he said to them as Allah tells us do you say that All these different lords that you have, all these different things you worship that you have all separated from one another. Do you say that is better? Or Allah who is the one the one who subjugates his servants and everything is under his control and his command and nothing can escape it. And allahel said here it came with al there is no there is nothing deserving of worship except Allah the one also I always want you to think and I've said this before always think that there are two things for any name that is mentioned in an ayah There are two things you should always think about. The first one is what are the names that come together? What is the connection between and al is subjugation and you can't escape him. You are low. You are humble. You are submitted. You are in a state where you have no way out and no escape and no chance. What's the connection between that and between Allah's name al and sometimes what you'll wait till you get in the book to the point where the sheh explain both names and then think about it why does it come with the name alwah the second thing I want you to think about is the attachment of the to the name because the of they say and the of they say that the names of Allah are connected to the that is mentioned before them. So when Allah mentions for example there's a that those two names are not random. It doesn't come alman. It doesn't there is a specific reason why the name al is mentioned after that statement and that is clear right that should be clear to everyone there is no god except Allah alw he's one in everything he's one in his right to be worshiped he's one in his lordship he's one in his names he's one in his attributes he's one in his actions so all your worship should be directed towards him and no one else you should never divert it Because remember there are many people who do worship Allah but they also worship others with Allah. So when you think about it if you think about for example many of they do worship Allah they do worship Allah and they openly say that they worship Allah and they have elements of their worship which is for Allah but it's not for Allah. It's not for Allah as one alone. Instead, it is broken up. Some for Allah and some for the monks and the rabbis and some of it is for any the what they claim to be the son of Allah is Allah above what they claim or what they falsely attribute to him. And allahel said say Allah is the creator of everything and he is the he said so they indicate that Allah is alone in being one And that Allah has oneness, the oneness of Allah. And that Allah exalted is he. He's the only one who has the attributes of majesty and honor. that Allah subhana wa ta is the only one who has the attributes that are perfect in their greatness, in their majesty and supremacy and in their beauty. So he is now here I underlined the word because I want you to see how the sheh uses because this is the meaning of of compared to He says he is in himself. There is nothing that resembles him in his attributes. There is nothing comparable to him. in his actions. There is no partner with him and there is no one who if you like competes with him. He is in his right to be woripped. He has no rival in the right to be loved, venerated and the right of lowering yourself before him and submitting yourself to him. So this is the context we often use al like that it comes meaning one in his attributes one in his names one in his there's no one arrival there's no competition there's no one who can even compare in any way to Allah subhana wa t'ala then the sheh mentions some of the places in the Quran that wah the name alwah came with different contexts. And this is one of the unique things about the name. It comes with different contexts. It comes with different contexts. One in this, one in that. It comes with some different context to it. So in one place or in some places in the Quran, Allahawel says in affirming Allah's oneness and that you must make the religion for him alone. Your God is one God. There is no god worthy of worship but him. He is alman. And it came in similar context. The one that you worship is one. Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between and lord of al- mashik. that the here al is plural. Some of them mention for that the different places where the sun rises and allahel knows best. The then says he says sometimes Allah uses to show that the oneness of Allah is the core message. The prophets came with that all the prophets came with one core message. Why did the prophets come with one message? because their object of worship is Allah is therefore the message of the messengers is it is one message Allah said it has only been revealed to me that your object of worship is One object of worship is so will you not submit to him in Islam. And the statement of Allah say I am only a human being like you. It has been revealed to me that your God is none old other than so be upright in the religion for him and seek his forgiveness and hellfire is for the people who make partners with him. And allahel the he said Allah said in the context of the da to Islam and submission to Allah. Your God is one God. So submit yourself to him. Submit yourself to him. So here if you look at it, you have the combination between submitting yourself to Allahawel and the name and the name. And then allahel says, "And give glad tidings to those who humble themselves." And allahel said, "This the last part that is wanted from here. Will you not submit to him in Islam?" And allahel said, our God and your God is one and we have submitted to him in Islam. Then the he said the she said sometimes he uses in order to show that he is free of all imperfections and to show that there is nothing true about what people said when they said that he took a son or when they said that he is one of three, part of a trinity. Allah is high above that and free of all imperfections. Allahel said, if Allah had wanted to take a son, he would have chosen from that which he created whatever he wanted. Exalted is he. Meaning, how false is this claim? Exalted is he. Has nothing to do with it. Subhan Allah. Is a statement that proves that Allah has nothing to do with that. Any faults, any flaws. He is Allah. So this use of is used for what? to show people that the claim that Allah took a son or that Allah is part of a trinity is a false claim. And allahel said Allah said do not say that Allah is three. Cease what you are saying it will be better for you. Indeed Allah is only one God, one object of worship. And allahel said disbelieved those who said that Allah is one of three. There is no except one. And allahel said sometimes Allah uses to cancel out the shik the polytheism that people do. How can you do polytheism? How can you worship something besides Allah when Allah is allahel says Say which thing is greatest in witness. Say Allah. He is a witness. between me and you and this Quran has been revealed to me so that I can warn you and whoever the message reaches. Do you test? Do you bear witness that there are other gods besides Allah? Say I do not bear witness. say it is only a God that is and I am free from what you associate in partners with him. And allahel said, "And Allah said, do not take two gods. Do not make the what you worship into two gods. He is only one god and have fear of him. And allahel said are many separate lords better or Allah And Allah says while explaining his greatness and the perfection of his dominion and his kingdom and the fact that all of creation will be humbled before him on the day of resurrection. On the day when they will all be exposed, all of them will be standing before Allah. Nothing will be hidden from them before Allah at all. Who does the kingdom belong to on that day? It belongs to Allah. Here again you can see the suitability of those two names. So there is no chance for you to seek safety from anyone else. Not from Giblis, not from the prophet sallallah.aii wasallam, let alone from those people that they call upon as rivals with Allah. Nobody is going to save you on that day because Allahel is and likewise because in on that day all of them are subjugated. They are subjugated in this world but they just don't recognize it. None of them can you go out of Allah's kingdom. Can you go out of Allah's command? Can you go out of Allah's? You cannot. If Allah decrees misguidance for a person, can anyone guide them? They cannot. If Allah decrees guidance for a person, can anyone misguide them? They cannot. And this is the meaning of his name al which we will come to in more detail later on inshallah. So you can see how that is also suited to the statement in the ayah. So whenever you have a statement in the ayah you're going to find that there is a connection between what is said in the ayah and between the name and the elsewhere he mentions this is from the greatest of the ways to get in Allah's names and it is from from the greatest of means to get to understand what the names mean is to sit and reflect why this name with this ayah why this name with this name and through this you can learn a lot more about Allah's names and of course you refer to what the scholars said in this likewise the mentions that this name indicates that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is alone in his perfection and there is no one who shares anything. He says this is the meaning of and both of them came with this that no one shares in Allah's perfection except him. There is no one with him. And that what is obligatory for the servants is in what? In their in their and in their in what they believe in their heart and what they say with their tongue and what they do with their actions. So if someone were to ask what is my responsibility towards this name? How do I actualize the meaning of this name in my life? The first answer is because comes from that same root right and all come from the same meaning the meaning of one. So which comes from to declare, affirm and practice that Allah is one in his lordship, in his worship and in his names and attributes. So that is the first thing that you must take from this name and that you don't make a partner with him or attribute any or give anyone anything that belongs to him. And from this there is a nice description of the word if you wanted just to tie this into the word. The word is basically the opposite of that, right? It's the opposite of saying that Allah is so what is it really? It is to give one or more of the things that are only for Allah to someone else. That's one of the ways you can think about shik in anything. Any anything that is only for Allah anything that you say about it Allah is in this alone in it. All the things you say Allah is that means if any of these things you give it even a tiny piece to someone else. This is a about which Allah said Allah does not forgive you make a partner with him. Allah does not forgive that you do anything that suggests that you do not have complete belief, faith and action in the the oneness of Allah, Allah will never forgive it. If you repent in this life, Allah will forgive. But if you die having done any single thing that takes away from the fact that Allah is then there is no forgiveness after that as allahel told us. Then the sheh brings a very he brings a great benefit. He brings he saysalia. So he's going to summarize for you the what these two names tell you. He's going to summarize it for you in the following points. And the sheh he brings eight points. eight points that you can summarize the meaning of these two names what they indicate what they tell us in two points in in sorry in eight points uh the he says the first one the first one is to negate anyone that is comparable anyone that is a rival, anyone that is an equal to Allah in any way. So when people say for example, even when we talk about Allah, when we say for example, the most merciful rose over the throne. That's what Allah said about himself. That is what Allah said about himself in several places in the Quran. But we have to do that along with we cannot for example say Allah roars like the sun rose or we cannot say Allah roars like a person climbs a mountain or something like that or Allah roars like the hot air rises or anything like that because all of that is you are all of that is a type of uh it's a type of resembling Allah to his creation and that goes against his name alah and al so from this we have to say yes Allah rose above the throne yes we understand what that word means we know what it means everyone knows what the word rises means no one if I say to you something rose none of you think it went downwards Right? And if I say to you something ros anything in the language, none of you start looking down. All of you know what that word means. But how does it apply to Allah in a way that befits his majesty that is not similar to anything or anyone else? Someone could say, "What's your evidence? Give me a evidence that it's not similar to something else." Because Allah is al there is nothing that resembles or is similar or is comparable or is a rival or is an equal to him in any way and that's why allahel said and allahel said there is nothing that is comparable to him. Nothing is comparable to him. And yet he is take a benefit in that. And I'll give you the benefit that I want you to take from that ayah. I've mentioned it before, but I really want people to this ayah alone. This ayah inah ayah number 11, it destroys any false belief about Allah's names and attributes. It is not possible for anyone to take this ayah properly and then make a mistake in Allah's names and attributes. Similarly, you can say about as well. The same thing can be said about it that if someone takes that surah as it is, it is impossible that person could go away from the of theat. There is nothing like him. Therefore, what does that take away? It takes away the first part. It takes away a temp saying that Allah resembles his creation and it takes away a te. Why does it take away asking how? Because you can only ask how. You can only know how something happens if you have a comparison or if that you were told from a reliable source or if you saw it with your eyes. You didn't see Allah with your eyes and Allah never told you how he rose over his throne. And therefore there is nothing to compare. So if there's nothing to compare there is no he is here this removes denying Allah's names because Allah says I am and when you take the two parts together it removes any possibility ility of distorting the name. Why? If we said that we the reason people change the meaning of Allah's names is because they don't want to compare Allah to his creation. Is that a fair statement? The reason the people from the mut and the people who came and changed the meaning of Allah's names, why did they do it? because they didn't want to compare Allah to his creation. They were scared of it. So they changed what they changed. Let's look at the name. The all hearing. Can you and I hear? We can. You and I can hear. Can you and I see? We can see. All of us here can hear. And all of us here can see. And yet Allah said there is nothing like him. So what he's saying to you is his hearing is not like human hearing and his sight is not like our sight or the sight of anything in his creation. Therefore it is not possible or needed for you to change the meaning of Allah's names to get out of it's not needed. All you have to do is to say about Allah what he said about himself and what the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said about him. So this ayah inah it destroys all of it destroys all kind of deviation with regard to Allah's names. Similarly as a surah the same thing you can bring from it. You can say this surah tells us we have to say about Allah what Allah said about himself. It's clear right? Say say what do you say? Say what Allah said about himself is gone. All of that is gone. Say it. He is Allah who is one. Allah again the affirmation of Allah's names. And likewise here if you look at the meaning of you can also understand from this that allahel one of the meanings of is that Allah is completely unique in the sense that he doesn't every everyone needs him and he doesn't need anyone and his name tells it that there's no resemblance. So is gone with the word is gone because you cannot say to something that can be that has a rival or a partner or has anything that resembles likewise is gone and as is taking the meanings away from what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gave them and so on And all of this if you look at it you can see the same message in as you have in the second benefit from these names is which we've mentioned that it is completely false to ask how allahel does something. Why is that? Because if Allah is is there any way that you can reach a knowledge of what Allah subhana wa ta'ala is how Allah does things only there are only like the scholars say logically there are only four or there are only three ways logically that you can come to know how something happens anything. How does this thing work? How does this microphone work? The only way you can know how is three ways. There is no other way than these. The first one is that you see it with your eyes. The second one is that you compare it to something you already know. Like someone says, you know how the computer works. This is kind of similar. You know how a phone work. So you compare it to things that you know. So either you experience it with your senses or either you compare it to something you know or either you have a reliable person who knows how it is tell you about it. So the manufacturer can tell me how this works. An expert in electronics can tell me how this works. Someone who made it or someone who knows about it can tell me how it works. So either I have to see it working or either I have to compare it to something else. So for example, maybe you guys haven't seen let's say for example uh a rhino. But I can tell you how that rhino is by describing it in the context of other animals that you've seen. So it's smaller than an elephant. It's kind of the same color. The color is kind of similar to the color. Okay. Color of the elephant yet smaller size than an elephant. bigger than a cow. Okay. Yeah, I've got the size now. You can compare it or you get told by a reliable source how this thing happens. So if we look at applying these three things to the case of Allah's I mean how Allah does something. So we cannot see it or smell it or taste it or feel it. We have no way to witness it ourselves. For example, how did Allah rise over his throne? How does Allah any of these how questions, we cannot see it or experience it ourselves? There is nothing to compare it to because Allah is totally unique and separate. There's no way to compare it. Therefore, what are we left with? that someone reliable tells us who is reliable to tell us about Allah, Allah and his messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam. So whatever you find that Allah and his messenger told you that's fine. And whatever Allah and his messenger didn't tell you sai wasallam you can't ask about it because you have no other way of coming to know it. And the he mentioned a very beneficial point at the end of that paragraph. He said, "Everything that would come to your mind, if you ever tried to imagine something about Allah, everything that would come to your mind, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala would be greater than that and more majestic. Even if you tried to think about something the most perfect of the perfect of the perfect of the perfect still Allah will be Allahbar. Allah is greater than that. Allah is more majestic than that. So you have to understand like some people say sometimes things come in your mind and you think something comes in my mind and you have to realize take it as a as a principle whatever is going to come in my mind Allah is greater than that. Whatever any single thing you could try to put in your head for Allahbar Allah is greater than that and more majestic than that. So you can't do Allah justice. Whatever you put in your mind it can't be you can't do justice. You can't do it. You can't do it right no matter what. So you have to clear your mind of trying to reach that how Allah subhana t is or how Allah subhana tala does something. The third subhana tala. So affirming all of the perfect attributes for Allah meaning that there is no description and no attribute of perfection and beauty except that Allahawel has perfection in it and infinite perfection in it. There is no flaw in any single way. The fourth. That to Allah belongs in these attributes. If you think of every attribute of Allah, any attribute of Allah, it will always be the greatest, the most perfect and the pinnacle of perfection. And this is the meaning of the statement of Allahawel. That's one of the things you can take from it. It's not the only meaning, but one of them you can say. And indeed to your lord is al-mah. Some of them said the meaning of al- the perfect the pinnacle of perfection. So when you think about Allah's hearing or Allah's sight he has the most perfect hearing and the most perfect sight. Allah says to Allah belongs the highest of examples. you whatever you are to say about Allah it must be the highest this is part of the meaning of his name and the fifth point that to declare Allah to be free of any flaws and any imperfections because Allahawel is al that means that he is free of flaws and imperfections and that's why it came in the ayah when they attributed partners to Allah when they said when they said Allah took a son subhan Allah this is part of the meaning of Allah's name the sixth point. So what the she is saying here is that this is part of Allah's name. What is it? It is the the oneness of Allah in terms of your knowledge of him. That's what is and it encompasses and the of Allah's lordship and his names and attributes because all of them what is required from you in that is That's what's required from you to have knowledge to know Allah to affirm it to believe in it with conviction and to believe it in your heart. So to believe that Allah is in his all the aspects of lordship. What is lordship? We've spoken about it. We've done the name. What is what is lordship? All the things alik all those meanings that we took the master who everything is subjugated before him who obedience to him is not optional under any circumstances. the one who created, the one who sustains, the one who nurtures all of those meanings. Allah is in all of them. And Allah's names and attributes and actions, Allah is in all of them. One in all of them. This belief that Allah is one in all of those things is what we call or some of the scholars call it the of knowing Allah and affirming that Allah is like that you what is required from you Allah created you what is required is there something you can do with that what is required is to believe and affirm and have conviction in your heart that Allah is. So this is what we call the seventh point. the obligation of singling out alone Allah for worship because Allahawel is the only one that created, sustained and gave and prohibits and laws people and raises others and gives to people and withholds from others and causes life and causes death. Therefore, Allah is the only one who deserves worship. What do we call this type of the he says the of action it's also called the of intention and seeking and it's also called the of divinity and it's also called the of worshiping Allah alone and it's also called the of worship all of them mean the same thing all of them mean the same thing to single out Allah alone in worship the eighth and final point that the sheh mentions is Allahel says refuting the mushri and all of those people who said false things about Allah. All of the peddallers of falsehood, whatever kind they are, from those people who did not give Allah his true estimation, they didn't give Allah his true what he truly deserved. They didn't think about Allah as he truly deserves to be thought of. And from this is the statement of Allahel. From this is the statement of Allahawel. And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are worshiped along with him, immediately they rejoice. And the statement of Allah, if you mention your Lord in the Quran alone alone, they when you mention your Lord in the Quran alone, they turn back in a version. And the statement of Allahawel That is because when Allah was called upon alone, you disbelieved. But when others were associated with him, you believed. So judgment is with Allah, the most high, the most grand. And then the sheh concludes with a dua asking allahel to allow us the success to be able to complete and achieve his to have proper iman in his oneness and him being alone and unique and that allahel is muj.
