Video summary
In this weekly update for her Weight Watchers journey, the creator takes time to explain why there has been a significant gap since her last video upload. She attributes the delay to an extremely busy schedule filled with various life events that consumed most of her attention and prevented her from filming or uploading content recently. Beyond just catching up on missed updates, she uses this opportunity to share exciting news about purchasing a new golf cart for herself, Troy, and their dog Palmer. They are currently enjoying the faster and more comfortable vehicle while selling their old one, which had been unreliable with frequent breakdowns. The upgrade has not only improved their daily commute but also allowed them to enjoy fun evening drives with lights on, making it easier for her to make time for herself and friends again.
The creator emphasizes a renewed focus on work-life balance as a major goal she is actively pursuing this year. She admits that while running her Bomb Party business often makes perfect balance difficult, she is determined to create more stability in her life by prioritizing relaxation and quality time with loved ones. This shift includes planning special dinners for friends like Julia and ensuring she can enjoy peaceful moments on her porch as the weather cools down from the hot summer monsoons. She also expresses relief at returning to her boot camp routine after a brief hiatus, noting that despite the heat making outdoor workouts uncomfortable, muscle memory helped her adapt quickly without excessive soreness. Her structured Type A personality appreciates having things back in their proper place, and she is happy to have re-established her regular gym schedule while keeping Tuesdays and Sundays as rest days.
A key point of discussion revolves around her recent weight loss trend, which has been unintentional due to stress-induced lack of appetite rather than a strict diet plan. Although she maintains high protein intake through coffee and meals like cottage cheese with fruit, the creator admits that emotional states such as sadness or anger have led to eating too few calories overall. This resulted in losing an additional 2.1 pounds over two weeks, bringing her total weight down to the very low end of her healthy range between 180 and 190 pounds. While she is happy with this number for now given recent life changes involving the loss of a pet named Lola, she recognizes that continuing in such a deficit is not sustainable or intended. Her immediate goal is to stabilize her weight by tracking food intake every other day to ensure she consumes enough calories and protein while staying hydrated during the hot weather.
Looking ahead, the creator outlines plans to return to her regular content schedule starting next week, promising consistency with meal prep videos on Tuesdays, daily updates on Wednesdays, weigh-ins on Fridays, and grocery hauls on Saturdays or Sundays depending on when she films them. She reassures her audience that even if there are weeks without specific news, she will still upload weekly unless combining two weeks into one video due to a lack of major events to share. Her long-term objectives for the coming week include focusing strictly on weight maintenance rather than further loss, drinking adequate water despite the heat, and continuing her established workout regimen. She deeply appreciates her viewers' continued support during this transitional period and looks forward to sharing more updates as she navigates these life changes while striving to find a healthier equilibrium between work demands and personal well-being.

Well, hello friends. It has been a
minute. It's been a minute since you've
seen me. It's been a minute since I did
a Friday weigh-in video and really just
a minute in general since I've been able
to upload a video. As you know, my life
is extremely busy. There has been a lot
of things that have happened recently
that have consumed a lot of my time and
I just haven't had time to sit down and
film a video. Nor have I really had a
lot of updates for you until recently. I
think it's been a couple of weeks since
I filmed a weigh-in video. So, I'm going
to update you on everything that has
happened, kind of what's going to happen
in the future, and of course my weigh-in
for the week. So, give it a thumbs up if
you're excited and let's jump in.
I hope you have had an amazing last
couple of weeks. I have had a good last
couple of weeks. A busy last couple of
weeks. As you know from last week's what
I eat in a day, Troy and I bought a new
golf cart. We are absolutely loving it.
We are in the process of selling our old
golf cart, but we've really been
enjoying the new one. It is so much
nicer, faster, more comfortable than our
old one. And you know that our old golf
cart had some issues. It was you never
knew if you were going to break down or
have complications. So, it was time to
invest in a new golf cart. So,
definitely a good decision for us.
Palmer loves it. We love going out at
night and turning on the lights and it's
been really, really fun. She took it to
the gym this morning. It is Saturday
that I'm filming this video this week. I
wasn't able to upload yesterday and it
is so much nicer to drive. And like I
said, it's so much smoother and faster.
We've been loving it. So, that's one
really big thing that has happened since
I've seen you guys last. Making more
time for myself and more time to spend
with my friends. In fact, tonight I'm
going out to dinner for Julia, my boot
camp instructor, for her birthday with
all my boot camp girls. I'm very much
looking forward to that. Like I said in
the past, I've been so busy that I
haven't had a lot of time to see my
friends and do things just for me. So,
I'm definitely making that a priority.
You knew I was in Scottsdale not too
long ago with my friend Claire for the
day doing some shopping and things and
that was really nice and that just kind
of catapulted me even more into deciding
that I need to make time for myself and
I need to do the things that I enjoy. I
can't just work all the time. The hard
part with that is no one else does my
work. So, if I'm not doing my work, then
nobody else is doing my work. But, there
has to be a balance and I've been
talking for a long time about creating a
better balance. In fact, on my vision
board right there, balance was one of my
goals for this year and it's already
over halfway through the year and I've
really just started focusing on balance.
Now, granted, with having a Bomb Party
business and being busy with that,
sometimes balance just isn't possible,
but that is something that I'm
definitely looking at continuing to
improve in the future. I'm taking more
time to spend with Troy and Palmer and
just more time to relax. Maybe watch a
TV show every once in a while or just
unplug from my phone, from social media
and just enjoy a peaceful moment. I
would love to go sit on my back porch
and enjoy the weather, well, in the
evening or early morning because it's
way too hot during the day and muggy
because of the monsoons here. But, I'm
looking forward to that as we move into
fall and into winter. I'm finally back
to boot camp. We went back August 3rd.
So, this last week was my first full
week. Number one, it's hot and I am just
a sweaty disgusting mess.
And, but on a brighter note, I noticed
that I was able to get right back into
it a lot easier than I thought. I
thought it was going to be very hard on
my body. I thought I would be really
sore. I was nervous about the running
and the burpees, but honestly, I feel
like muscle memory kicked in and I
actually had a great week of boot camp.
Now, granted, it was definitely a little
bit harder than it was a month ago, and
just with the hot, humid weather, it's
just uncomfortable. And I feel like that
makes working out outside even harder,
but I am so glad to be back. That is one
piece of my schedule that I feel so much
happier that's back in place. I am very
scheduled, very type A. I like things in
their place. I like to abide by a
schedule, and when something is thrown
off, it's hard for me to adjust. So, I'm
really happy that it's back, and I am
still going to the gym here in my
community Thursdays and today, Saturday.
Tuesday and Sunday has remained my rest
days, which I am continuing to do moving
forward. Like I said, there's been a lot
of things going on. I've had some
decisions that I've had to make. I will
definitely share that with you guys in
the future, and that's partially why I
haven't been as consistent with my
videos is just because I've been
navigating through a lot of different
things. And I'm somebody that isn't I'm
somebody that makes sure that things are
solidified before I say anything. So, of
course, I'll keep you guys updated in
future what I eat in a day as well as my
weigh-in video, but other than that,
everything has been going really well. I
will say that I have because I'm busy
and because I'm navigating some things
in my life, my food has not been the
best, and not in the way you may think.
I have definitely not been eating
enough. I'm still focused on my protein.
I have my protein coffee every morning.
I make sure that I have protein with
every meal and snack. In fact, this
morning I had cottage cheese and fruit
as part of my breakfast.
But, I'm definitely not eating enough
calories. When I am stressed, when I'm
sad, stressed, mad, I'm not hungry. I
don't have an appetite. So, I kind of
have to go, "Oh, you should probably eat
something." Although I can make good
choices, I know for my body I've
definitely been in a deficit. I can feel
it in my clothes that I've lost weight.
I can see it in the mirror, and that, as
you know, is not my intention. I am
happy at the weight that I am. I would
like to just maintain this weight, and
with the loss of Lola, I lost a few
pounds and have maintained that weight
loss
what, 9, 10 months now? And because of
everything that's been going on, being
busy, and all of the things we've talked
about, when I got on the scale today, I
am actually down another two full
pounds, actually 2.1 lbs to be exact.
So, that's going to put me at the very
low end of my weight range. Goal weight
is not a number, it's a range, and I
have a 10 lb range. I like to be between
180 and 190. That is a great weight for
me, for my body, with the muscle that I
have. That is a healthy, healthy weight
for me. And now I'm sitting kind of at
the low end of that, which isn't a bad
thing,
but I have got to refocus on
maintenance. I've got to make sure I'm
eating enough. I have to make sure I'm
drinking enough water, that I'm getting
in my protein. So, my goal for this next
week is to track my food every other
day. I can't do it every day, but every
other day, just to keep a tab, a finger,
on calories and protein, making sure
that I'm eating enough. I've been trying
to eat a little bit higher calorie meals
to make up for the calories that I'm not
eating throughout the day. And some days
I eat my maintenance calories, and some
days I don't, but clearly, I have been
in a deficit over the last couple of
weeks because I am down 2 lbs a week.
And like I said, I'm at the low end, I'm
still within my range, but I would like
to stabilize things and get back to just
maintaining and maybe seeing just a
little fluctuation down and a little
fluctuation up instead of pounds in
either direction. So, that is my goal,
and of course, to continue to get in my
water because it's hot here. Luckily for
me, when it's hot, I drink more water,
and I'm someone that just totes water
with me throughout the day. So, I'm
always drinking something, so I'm going
to continue with that goal as well as
getting back to my maintenance calories,
continuing my workouts, and making time
for myself. That is a huge, huge, huge
goal of mine for the next week as well
as the remainder
as well as long-term. Let me know how
you guys have been doing the last couple
of weeks. How's your weigh-in been? Have
you gained? Have you lost? Fill me in on
all of that. I will have a meal prep for
you guys on Tuesday. I will be back to
my pretty much regular schedule from
here on out. I do upload my meal prep on
Tuesday, my what I eat in a day on
Wednesday, weigh-in on Friday, grocery
haul on Saturday. Now, since I did the
weigh-in today, I'll upload my grocery
haul tomorrow, Sunday. But, I will be
back to my normal schedule. I promise. I
promise that is going to happen.
Sometimes I skip a week of this video
because I don't really have any updates
to share with you. So, I plan on still
doing it weekly for the most part. And
again, if I have nothing to share, then
we'll just combine it together in a
couple in 2 weeks instead of weekly. I
appreciate you guys hanging in here with
me, still watching my videos, supporting
me, all of the things. That means a lot
to me, and I will see you guys tomorrow
for the grocery haul.
