WEEKLY VLOG | I DID IT! π Graduation + Salon Appointment, State Board Exam & Home Updates
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The narrator celebrates a major milestone by graduating from the Baptist Health College Little Rock Akira Jana Baker School of Sleep Technology with a perfect score on her microphone test and earning a spot on Honor Row, despite some grade discrepancies that prevented her from receiving cords. Her academic journey was not straightforward; she originally pursued a nursing degree at Arkansas State University but faced rejection due to high competition, later withdrawing from an LPN program during the pandemic because of its online format and a difficult instructor before realizing clinical nursing wasn't her calling. Although she withdrew from the nursing track twice due to grading scale issues, her final grades in sleep technology still qualified her for honors, leading her to accept a job offer as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) where benefits begin on day one.
Following her graduation ceremony at Barton Coliseum on June 13th, the vlogger immediately took her State Board Exam on June 16th, passing with flying colors despite the challenging wording of the 175 questions, especially given the exam's notoriously low 40.1% passing rate. She plans to work as a PRN patient care tech for six to seven months before fully launching her career, a role that will involve performing sleep studies and diagnosing conditions such as sleep apnea and narcolepsy. The celebration included receiving various gifts like flowers, a gift basket with snacks and candles, pink Bondi brand shoes chosen to match her scrubs, and a booked massage at a Hot Springs casino, while her partner also treated the group of ten friends and family to dinner.
Back at home, she unboxes and assembles a new Walmart dresser that arrived via FedEx, noting it was significantly easier to put together than her previous Amazon dresser which had broken drawers, and she also vacuums Jackson's room with a new cleaner. The day is filled with social gatherings where friends Nikki and Jax arrive for barbecue dinner, and she shares gifts purchased for her husband, including shoes and underwear, while discussing upcoming Father's Day plans. After dealing with a minor pimple breakout and getting makeup done early in the morning for the ceremony, she returns home to enjoy the festivities with family and friends, receiving additional presents like a car air freshener before enjoying a relaxing massage and brunch in Hot Springs with her partner.
The vlog concludes with the narrator reflecting on her future as a certified technologist who has successfully navigated a winding path through various nursing programs to find her true calling in sleep technology. She expresses excitement about her new professional status and the stability of her upcoming employment, balancing this career news with personal updates like visiting jewelry stores to try on Marquee cut diamond rings for a potential engagement proposal. The video captures a blend of professional triumph and domestic life, showcasing her resilience in overcoming academic hurdles, her joy in celebrating achievements with loved ones, and her anticipation for the next chapter of her life involving both work and family milestones.

>> Okay, so I got my I got my mic on. So
y'all just let me know if y'all like
this type of audio. If not, sorry. Um,
but I got 100% on my mic and it is, um,
I don't know if I should talk like this
or what, girl. Hello. But anyway, um,
yeah, we just left. Let me sit down. Let
me just let me just sit down. Feel like
I'm exhausted. Well, I am exhausted and
I'll tell y'all why. [snorts] But
anyways, today is Wednesday, June 10th.
It is 1,
excuse me, in the evening. So today we
had our banquet
at the school and it supposed to last
maybe about an hour, really not even
that. Some people are talking a little
bit longer than others. Um but yeah,
basically it's where we get our actual
um just everything for graduation
basically. And when we walk the stage,
we're just going to get the like diploma
cover or degree cover or whatever
instead of actually, you know, your
degree or diploma in there. So yeah,
anyways, that's where I just got back
from. They gave us like some pasta and
stuff, but it [snorts] weren't that
good. So, I'll probably have to end up
finding me something to eat. But, I
wanted to show you guys what I got. And
then I got a package and stuff delivered
today that we're going to get into. But,
obviously, I am in the sleep technology
program. So, this is our little logo.
And each of us got a pin and we're going
to wear this at graduation. Well, at
least I am. It's cute. Some of us are as
well. And then I got this as well.
Baptist Health College Little Ludok is
where I'm graduating from and I am a
first generation graduate. So a lot of
us got this. And then the biggest thing
that we got obviously the most important
is Baptist Health College Little Rock
Akira Jana Baker School of Sleep
Technology. And then it says June 12th.
Today
is the 10th but we graduate on the 13th.
So yeah, whatever. Anyway, got that got
that secured. I'm going to go ahead and
put this up in here. And then she said,
"Don't forget to bring our cords and all
of that." So I have honor row. That's
what I wanted to tell y'all. And it was
so embarrassing to get up there cuz it's
like the first two like nuke med
honors and then it's our class and we
had one high honors. But majority of us,
well, I know two of us, we do have
honoral cuz we made all A's and B's.
It's just that one of my classmates, she
was in the surgical tech program. So,
like her grades from that is reflecting
as well over her with her overall GPA.
That's just how Baptist does it for
whatever reason, which is stupid. And
y'all know I did go to nursing school.
Um I was originally going to get my um
BSN, RN, but found out real quick that
nursing is not for me. it's not what I
wanted to do. And then I had left a
state though to come to a fasttrack
program here at Baptist Health College.
So that's how I got into the nursing
program there. But then I withdrew from
that um for different reasons both times
because I got into it both times and
then um yeah, now we're here. So since I
have grades from nursing there because I
completed my whole first year, I have
those grades calculated into my sleep
technology grade. I was not making A's
and B's in nursing school, you know,
like I had some B's, I had some C's. I
don't even I don't think I had no A at
Baptist. So, yeah. And plus, they grade
so crazy. So, really, what is a C should
have been a B, you know? So, that's just
that whole spill. Um, but we went and
got that today. And then I have a
package from Walmart. I've been waiting
on it for 3 days. Um, I'll show y'all
later, but I may pop in a picture right
here. I'm not sure. But this dresser
that we originally bought for Jackson's
nursery
has been beat up to the ground. Like
beat down to the ground. A drawer came
off. The other drawers will not go in
and out. We got it from Amazon. But
y'all know usually everything from
Amazon is fine. I did want to say I did
not put this dresser together. My man
put his dresser together. So I'm not
sure if that was his doing or if that
was Amazon's doing. But um yeah, this
next dresser, I'm going to be putting it
together. Mhm. As well as this one from
Walmart is supposed to be like a really
easy put together by yourself. The
pieces in the dresser kind of just like
snap together. So basically, they have
the stuff already kind of put together
for you and you're just snapping the
pieces together. So Jack's asleep, he's
been asleep since like 12:20, 12:15 is
1:16. Usually he gives me at least about
2 hours most times. Sometimes he sleeps
for about 3. So, I am going to go ahead
and open it and try to like start
getting it together. Um, if it becomes a
problem, then we're probably going to
have to Well, my mom's here, so she'd be
able to like either take him into
another room or I'll have to probably
take this into like scoot it in the
guest room or something. I'm not sure.
But, I do want to show y'all what it
looks like. It was really big. FedEx,
they literally pulled into our driveway
to drop this off. Really, really, really
huge.
And it is heavy. But I put them on these
dollies and we got it in Hi. If you want
to say hey, Prince. But we got them on
these dollies and I'm going to go ahead
and unbox it and then when Jackson wake
up, I'll be able to actually show y'all
the dresser in person, but editing.
Akira should have popped a video or
picture up there for you. I literally
sent that to my l man last week and I
was like, "You're buying him a new
dresser today [laughter] cuz I ain't got
money. I ain't working yet, girl." But
well, I have a job, but y'all know
that's a patient care tech. So, after
graduation and stuff like that, I'm
going to keep PRN
as a patient care tech just for at least
the beginning six to seven months of me
going into my actual career. It sounds
really nice to actually say career and
not like my job. Someone else commented
that. Um, shout out to you. I forgot
your name, but basically you were saying
that I um like motivated you and stuff
like that to go back to school. I
haven't responded back to your comment
yet, but I definitely see everything,
but I want to I like to respond back to
everything like all at once. I don't
like to just respond to somebody and
then leave it. So, Crystal um said,
"Thank you, lady, for helping me with
the push to switch my job. I just landed
a career opportunity for my little one,
and I she was a big inspiration." So is
Jax. Maybe them kids gonna make you get
it out of the mud. Okay.
But she said, "You showed me I could do
something different. So excited for my
new future and to claim a career and not
a job." And that's how I felt too. You
know, I was telling people that like
when I first started working as a tech
as well. I don't want to just clock in,
go to a job. I want to have a career. I
want not to say nothing's wrong with
that because I don't want people to
twist my words, but it's just what I
wanted for my life. I wanted to have a
career like nursing, doctor, um what
else? Occupational therapy. Like that's
that's your career, you know? know, it's
not like I'm about to go clock in at
McDonald's, which some people careers,
you know, they they be climbing up the
ladder at McDonald's and stuff, but you
know, it's not just a little quick
money, little, you know, little quick
money here and there. So, anyway, that's
that what I was saying is I'mma keep my
PRN [snorts] at Baptist as a patient
care tech and technician. I am going to
be when I pass my boards, God willing,
um I will be a registered polynographic
technologist. If you seen my last
Instagram post, I explained everything,
you know, basically what Google says it
is. But yeah, and I'll just be doing
that. And like I said, I'll keep my PCT
job for a good probably like six, seven
months just so I can, you know, make
sure, you know, this what I want to do.
This job is where I want to be at. Do
whatever, you know, whenever I start
working as my, you know, new career. But
anyways, I'm about to go ahead and unbox
this. I didn't talked enough. It's
already been about 10 minutes.
So, this is what I was talking about
when I was telling y'all that it
basically kind of already comes put
together. So, as you can see on a
regular dresser, usually you would have
to add these in for the drawers. Like my
vanity that I just put together in my
last vlog, um I had to put every last
one of them on. So, it is some that I
have to put on the actual like drawers
to go in, but these are already put on
here. So, that definitely save some
time.
I wanted to show you guys again how easy
they made this. So, literally these
little Hold up. Let's focus, baby. Don't
do that to me. All right. So, literally
these you'll just turn down and it is
four of them. Make sure the brown is all
the way in there. Turn that down. Turn
this one downward. And turn this one
downward. And then all you're going to
do is just
tighten them. Now, we're going to start
working on the dresser drawers. And
those are basically almost all the way
put together as well. So it say lay down
an H and the two holes is pointed this
way at the top of the line. And then I
need to find I there's two other boxes
over here that stuff came in. All right.
So I this is up top and this is pointed
this way. I put this on the ground
because um I don't trust myself on top
of that and I got to press down really
really hard. going to press.
Okay. I'm not going to go all the way in
on that side. Get it. Make sure
everything lining up. Mhm. Then we're
going to go to this side. I'm about to
do this five more times.
Yay me. Okay, so I'm done. And I had to
change my clothes because girl, I was
really, really hot. But it took maybe
not even an hour to put this together.
This was by far the easiest thing that
I've ever put together in my life. Um,
I'm going to show you guys how his
dresser right now looks in his room in
person. Feel like my mic is not doing it
for me. Anyways, this is how his dresser
looks. Beat down and raggedy. So, that
whole drawer came completely off. And as
you can see, I don't know things with
hopefully this dresser will be better,
but things like this like how it's I
don't know. It's just not put in there
right. the bottom falling apart. This is
what happens when you try to open it. It
sounds like that. This one sounds like
that.
This one is basically falling out. Like
there. It's just horrible. So, we're
just going to go ahead and switch this
out. Um I'm just going to take
everything out the drawers and then just
scoop this one out. This one is a lot.
This one isn't as heavy as the one that
I just got from Walmart. So, we're going
to take everything from the top. This
one is well I did stick it down but it's
not sticking. But I have this one um
what is it? Screwed in into Y'all can't
even see what I'm talking about. I have
this one screwed into the dresser so
that it can't like fall and fly. So I'm
going to unscrew that and everything.
But yeah, we're just going to take
everything out this dresser and then I'm
going to scoot that one in here and
clean this up because I know my man has
seen this powder splattered down there
for the past 3 days and still ain't
cleaned it up. I don't know why men do
that. But anyway, that's another topic
for another day because me and my bestie
was just talking about these men.
The fact that I literally had to take
this. I don't know if y'all can see it,
but the bottom was falling out. So, I
literally had to take this. It's
absolutely insane.
I'm going to go ahead and clean up all
of this off camera because obviously he
be dropping stuff down here and it's
dust and all of that. And then I'm just
going to vacuum his floor and everything
as well
to make a Walmart like an Amazon
storefront Walmart storefront like a
creator profile because that's a really
good vacuum. It was like $60 or
something that I got on sale and I
discount, but it has like three or four
different basically modes that you can
use and how high or low you need the
like I guess vacuum whatever to like get
down to the ground. So, since his rug is
kind of fluffy. I have it on a number
three, but it has a number four as well.
And yeah, it's just a really good
vacuum. It literally sucks up
everything.
literally that whole pack fit up in
here. The other drawer would have been
like this much. All right, so I wanted
to show you guys the dresser. So,
basically, obviously, this one is much
bigger. Like I've been saying, I have a
ton more space to add in some more
clothes. Y'all know me, I color code my
clothes. I did my men's I rearranged the
closet on his side in Jackson clothes. I
like to have everything color coded to
kind of see, you know, what you have.
So, reds, blues, anything with green in
it, whites and blacks. This is oranges,
yellows, that type of thing. And then
this one is kind of just like weird
prints and tropical and things like
that. So, this one is basically a free
drawer, but I'm just going to go ahead
and stick these are 18 months onesies.
We've had this since the baby shower.
I'm just going to stick this right
there. And then these are socks that are
still a little bit too big for him. Um I
put some up top and then this is a hat
that he can still I believe fit cuz it's
really really stretchy. So he'll be able
to probably fit that stuff. And then I'm
just going to put these up front because
this can basically be an overflow for
some other stuff once we start getting
him a lot more clothes and stuff. But so
we just got some right barbecue.
Literally fire. Y'all know I vlogged us
going there probably about four months
ago at this point. This is my mom's
plate. Ribs, sausage, mac and cheese,
greens, and the barbecue sauce. I cooked
last night, so I didn't get any mac. I'm
eating leftover mac. Got my barbecue.
And then I got ribs, beans, mashed
potatoes. Always fine. And then I got
the bacon ends or bacon tips. Absolutely
amazing.
>> I am at the bank. This is going to be
the start of a I think I want to try to
start doing weekly vlogs again. We'll
see. But I'm at the bank right now at
Chase getting cash out for my hair
appointment. My hair appointment is at
9:30 and say I will get there at 9:21. I
have to go downtown because my stylist
move locations
and I took out 220. Okay. And I hate
when somebody is behind me. That
definitely annoys my soul. Had my hair
washed by like a professional. I don't
know how long. Maybe two years.
>> Did you get it washed the last time?
know cuz I did it myself.
But I'm like, girl, I need it real bad.
[music]
>> What do I want to eat?
>> You should go to that place I told you
about. Let me know if you want pasta or
a taco.
>> Girl, I always love pasta.
>> But it's
>> cuz I was just thinking about sauce.
>> No,
I'm telling you, girl, sauce ain't got
nothing on it. I'm telling you.
>> Well, we may eat there when Nikki and
Jon get here. They'll be here at 4
>> and they got happy hour.
>> Oh, yeah. That'd be great. [laughter]
I don't know what you be doing. No, I
can't.
>> What you do? Tell me the steps. What you
do?
>> Okay.
[laughter]
I shampoo, condition, blow dry.
>> What? How do you blow dry it? Do you
section it off?
>> Yes. I section in four sections and I
make sure I get from the root to the
end. Get it as straight as possible.
>> Now, when I go in each section, I put a
little oil on it.
>> What kind?
>> The bio seal.
>> Okay.
>> A little bit.
>> I just got the wild. The wow.
>> Yeah. Yeah, but I don't really know how
to use that because the the back of it
say after you wash your hair I think or
something like that. But I see women use
it different like when your hair is dry.
>> Some people do use it dry
>> so I don't really know how to use that
but I do have it. Shyra swears by it cuz
obviously Shyra graduated cosmetology
school and stuff so she gets my hair
bone straight like you and I can't do
it. So yeah,
>> I'll use it. But what's your [laughter]
what's your flat iron look like?
>> I got the babilis baby bliss whatever
however you say it. I have that one. The
plates are silver.
>> Yes. Okay. It's Yeah, the plates are
silver, but the outside is blue and it's
the skinny one.
>> And maybe cuz the hot,
>> not the wide one,
>> cuz the hot comb really set.
>> Yeah. So, I can do with the hot comb,
but I don't know. I do use a hot comb,
but I do need a new one. It may be a
little old now. I had it since college.
>> Well, [ __ ] mine's old, too. I had it
since 2022.
>> I don't know. I don't know. I just can't
do it.
>> That's crazy.
>> I'll try again.
>> Maybe you need to take thinner sections
cuz your hair is not thin. Your hair is
thick as hell.
>> But here I be feeling like it's thin.
>> Nah, it's not.
>> Yeah, I guess that's true. [laughter]
Cuz when I cuz each section I I also
flat iron in sections too. So I'll go
through but I be Yeah, I probably be
taking too much hair.
>> Mhm. I know you do.
>> But I be getting them roots though cuz I
be feeling it on my scalp.
>> Well, yeah. You need to take thinner
sections of your hair and just
straighten.
>> And also cuz the flat iron like Where is
yours? Do you have the wide one,
>> girl? This is no. Okay.
>> But I do have
>> mine is thin like that.
>> Okay. But the other one I know the
Babelis is a wide one too. Like a wide
plate. So I'm like, hm, maybe should I
do a wide plate?
>> Yeah. See, though, [laughter]
>> you still got it.
>> Because I'm like, maybe one day it might
rev be revived. I don't know. You don't
want to give it up.
>> No, I don't. But it it's got a shortage
in it. [laughter] So, I just don't use
it.
>> Oh my god.
>> And I did not want to buy another one
cuz that damn thing is expensive.
>> That is hilarious.
>> I'm tired of that.
>> I know. I'm like, first off, I am so shy
to vlog in my city. And when I go out
the state or anywhere, I whoop the
camera out. I don't care. I don't know.
And I'm like, I live here. This is my
town. Like, I know what's going on, you
know? But like Texas, anywhere, girl. I
pop that camera out. I don't give who
look who. I don't care.
>> No.
>> But I be nervous here. I know. I don't
know why.
>> And I've been doing this [ __ ] for like
what, eight years?
>> That's what I'm saying. You definitely
should not be shy.
>> But if I'm not in Arkansas, I don't care
where to whip it out at. But if I'm
here,
>> I think it's a norm everywhere else.
It's really like
>> people like what are you doing? What's
going on? [laughter]
>> And yeah, bigger cities of course people
know what's going on cuz they doing it
too.
>> Yeah, here it ain't much. So yeah, I be
nervous. I don't know.
>> Oh, I do like the black. Shake your
hair.
>> Her contact.
[laughter]
>> I don't know cuz I need you.
>> Girl, please. [laughter]
I need you.
>> I remember I think I got you. I don't
know cuz I came to you in 2021.
>> I don't know if I found you or I think
cuz Zanup used to come to you and she
was like, "I don't know if I want to
give y'all who I go to or whatever cuz I
got like three more events that I need
to go to." And then when she finally
like tagged you, I'm like, "Yeah, let me
try her out." And I'm like, "Oh, yeah."
>> Now, she said,
>> "Yes, she had posted it. It was like on
her story or something like years ago."
And she was like, "I'll tell y'all who
be in my hair, you know, after my next,
you know, two or three events. cuz I
don't want her booked up. And I'm like,
I feel that. That's hilarious. I know
she like, get your coin. But no, you
looked up where I can't get in.
[music]
>> I'm about cut up and you are done and
ready for graduation. Honey, [laughter]
let me stop the damn.
>> I don't know why they beige. [music]
>> Hey y'all. So, I tried to introduce this
vlog earlier this morning and it just
did not work out. So, I have this new
case on my DJI to protect it and
everything, but I didn't realize that if
I try to put this up on my phone, well,
not my phone stand, on my camera stand
inside the car, the one specifically for
DJI DJI. [laughter]
Um, it doesn't fit because of this case
that I have on here. So, I'm I'm going
to have to figure out another car
situation. I can't wait to get a new
car, but we probably won't be doing that
until next year now at this point cuz we
got other stuff going on. But yeah, um I
was trying to vlog and stuff in the car.
I had to figure that out. So, I have
another mount that I use for my Sony,
but since the DJI is literally a long
type of camera, it's probably about this
long, actually. About the width. Yeah.
So, about this long. So, it hits the top
of my glass and I cannot
put it up. Anyway, that's why I didn't
record, but I recorded in the salon. So,
I haven't recorded getting my hair done
in a minute. And I do like to go see the
girly when I watch YouTube videos and
stuff. I like to see the girls at the
hair salon and stuff. It's so cute and
so aesthetic. So, I'm And I was talking
about I think I recorded it how I'm so
shy and scared to record.
I talked about how I'm so shy and
nervous and scared to record literally
here in my own city, which is crazy. But
when I go out on vacation, whether it's
in the country, out the country, no
matter where I'm at, Texas, Cali,
wherever, even when I was in Jamaica,
Mexico, I had this camera out. And I
don't know what it is um about it. And
she was just like, "It's because
obviously we're in Arkansas. So, we do
got Arkansas content creators and stuff
here, but you don't really see many
people doing this in Arkansas, you know.
So if I was in, you know, the bigger, of
course, Cali, New York, even Texas,
Florida,
Georgia, anywhere like that, somebody
pulling out their phone or their camera
to vlog and stuff, practically normal,
you know, it's normal here, but it it's
just whatever. So, we had a really good
chat. I love getting my hair done and
going to um chitchat with her. But um
yeah, I'm home. My head hurts. I just
took a ibuprofen. my head. I get a
headache and my head starts hurting
every single time I get my hair done.
Mostly because one, I wake up really
early. I like to get early appointments
so I can get out of there by noon, which
I did. Um, I got my hair washed today
because I usually come with my hair
already washed and blow-dried, which she
included hair wash in the services,
which is great. But, you know, sometimes
I just hate sitting in the chair, so
I'll be ready to get out of there. So,
today though, I needed my hair literally
washed and all the good stuff. And I
haven't had my hair washed by a
professional stylist in I don't know how
long. So, I definitely wanted to get
that today. And um yeah, my cousin Dina
literally came in right after me to get
her hair done. My best friend Nikki is
almost here. She'll It's 2:48. They'll
be here around 4ish:00.
Um I'm pretty sure she's probably going
to stay maybe one day with her dad and
one day with us. So, I don't know, maybe
tonight with us since I got graduation
tomorrow and then she'll probably stay
with her dad Saturday and then like I
can still see her, you know, of course.
Um, tomorrow I'm gonna see her all day
for graduation and stuff and then I'm
gonna leave on Sunday. So, it is a short
trip, but glad I get to see her. I miss
her all the time.
Move back [laughter] if you watch this.
But yeah, then my bestie girl and her
husband is coming as well. So, they're
driving this time. They didn't fly, but
their drive is really good, she said.
And they're um getting here fairly
quickly. Like
flat foot rolling. Her husband laugh at
that every time I say that. [laughter]
[gasps] But yeah, that's what we doing.
My man is out right now. He got his
location off cuz he out buying me some
stuff. So, Lord knows what that's going
to be. Um, I feel like this video I'm
recording a week. So, I'm trying to do
the whole weekly vlog thing. I'm trying
to get back into some type of system,
something that you guys can expect. Um,
will it be every other week? Not sure.
I'm going to try to make it a weekly
thing to post a weekly vlog on every
Sunday. Um, if not, then it'll be up on
a Monday if I can't finish, you know,
editing and stuff. But um yeah, he's out
getting me some stuff for obviously
graduation and all that tomorrow. So,
this vlog probably won't be up because
today is I don't know if I told y'all
what today is. Today is Friday, June
12th. And obviously, I'm going to try to
record a week's worth of stuff. So, I'm
going to be done with this video
probably like next Friday. Um so, yeah,
I'll probably have this video up on
Father's Day possibly. So, that'll be
great. Um because I want to tell you
guys what I just bought him for Father's
Day. So, he's been hopefully he not
listening on that camera, but he's been
talking about
this right here. Y'all see that?
Y'all see that? Yeah. He been talking
about that right there. Uhhuh. And I
just bought them. Um I didn't know they
give healthcare workers, first
responders, teachers, whoopy whoop, um a
discount. I got $24 off. That's amazing.
So, he's been talking about those for
probably at least 3 to 4 months. Um,
nothing specifically, just he wasn't
talking about it so I could like buy it
for him for Father's Day. It's just he's
been talking about it because he wants
them. And I've been trying to tell him
to slow down on his spending because he
been buying so much stuff. And I was
like, "You don't need them. You don't
need them. You don't need them." But I
was kind of saying that because, you
know, I want to get it for him. So, I
got that. That'll be here next Thursday,
though. And then I just bought him this
from Amazon. I'm just going to show you.
I'm not going to say it just because I
don't want it to be recorded on the
camera just in case, you know, and then
he hear it or whatever. Dang, I took
that out my cart. I was trying to.
Um, so yeah, this is what I got. I guess
I could have just put a picture in here.
So, I got these.
Y'all see? Turn my brightness down a
little bit. Yeah, there we go. That's
what I got. These were only [snorts]
$65. And I like it because it you can
remove the strap at the back, but it
also has a closed toe. And then this one
right here, it has no strap, but and it
doesn't have a closed toe. Which one
will be an inside or an outside, you
know, shoe or slipper? Because basically
this will replace his house shoe. I'll
probably try to So Nikki said that we'll
probably sneak off or just go to TJ Maxx
when they get here, like later today or
whatever. And I'll probably try to see
if I can find some house shoes in there
for him because he do need another pair
of house shoes. He's been wearing his
slides in the house as his house shoes.
So, one of those can be house shoes or
whatever, but I'll probably still buy
like regular house shoes in case he
really do want to like wear those out.
Um, and then a few days ago, he was
like, I want some skims underwear or
some um Savage XFenty. I said,
what do you know about that? [laughter]
What do you know about that? Um, it's
funny that he say that because I've been
trying to get him a Savage Xfenty for a
long while now, but every time I think
about it, I always thinking about it too
late and it'll always come after the
time I need it. So, I'll probably get on
their website today. Even I'll get on
both and I'll see who has the better
deal and then I'll buy from there
because honestly, both are nice. It
doesn't really matter. Um, but yeah,
that the two things from Amazon, the
first thing that I showed y'all,
um, the underwear, and then I'll
probably do like a mini type of little
like just gift basket of his favorite
stuff. So, I'm going to put like some
beef jerky in there. I have, um, some
like floss pics. They're all black floss
pigs and just just random stuff that he
used and would like um to put in there.
And I think that's pretty much it. will
be getting. I do need a feel. So, when
he get here, I'll probably go to the
nail shop and get a feel. I'm going to
get a white French tip, but I'm still
going to keep the polka dot on here. I
don't want all of them to be polka dot.
Um, I'll probably literally just get the
same exact nail with polka dots on it.
Maybe the nail and thumb. I think
that'll be cute with polka dots and the
rest is just a regular white French tip.
Haven't had a regular white in a while
because I've been getting designs. Um,
my toes are still good. Toes are always
really good. Um, one of my toes it did
chip off at the top. So, I'll probably
have them fix literally just one toe.
Um, and hopefully they don't charge too
much for that. It shouldn't be charged
anything. And that'll be that. And I got
to wash my dress that I'm going to
potentially wear. Well, I'm probably
going to wear tomorrow because I don't
have nothing else to wear. Um,
yeah, I was going to try to go to the
mall and try to find something, but at
this point, I really don't even care.
I'm just ready to get graduation over
with. So, I have honor. So, they have
honoral and high honors. since I was in
nursing school there at Baptist and I
withdrew and I had C's which some of
them should have been a B which y'all
know that nursing grading scale is
insane. So I have C's on basically my
report card on my transcript and all of
those together puts me like right under
where honors is at and honors is a 3.5.
So without that nursing on there, I have
honor row. But [laughter]
because they add this, it's just the way
Baptist does it. The way they add
everything that you've taken since
you've been at that college, they add
all of your grades, you know, together
and then that's just what you have. So I
pass with all A's and B's. I actually
have honor, but since they added nursing
on there, girl, yeah, I don't get a cord
for it. But yeah, that's all I'm going
to be wearing tomorrow. And I'll
probably I'll probably talk to you later
today depending on if they can go to the
store and stuff like that cuz obviously
we'll keep Jack's here unless you just
want to take them. But by that time it
probably be around his nap time cuz they
ain't going to arrive until like 4:00.
But yeah, um I do need to straighten up
a little bit more, but I'm tired. I just
took ibuprofen. So while Jackson is
taking a nap, I'm just going to lay down
and just kind of chill and relax and
look up these this underwear for him and
just go ahead and order that. I want to
have everything ordered so everything is
here so that I can just, you know, put
it together and then just hide it in the
closet or something sometime next week.
Um, probably over the weekend. So, yeah,
that's all. I'll talk to y'all later
today or tomorrow for graduation. Keep
saying I'm done talking. I keep talking.
But the bottom of my hair is virgin
hair. You may or may not can tell that.
So, all of this down is virgin and then
the top is raw hair because I had a
closure sew in. So, I didn't need as
much hair with the 5x5 closure sew in.
So, I ran out of hair. Luckily, I had a
bundle left of that virgin hair and I
took it I mean raw hair. I had a bundle
left and then she um just put it on the
top. So, obviously raw hair looks
exactly like your hair and then virgin
hair is a little bit more silkier and
shinier and flowy and stuff. So, it's
just whatever your preference is. But
now that I have raw hair up here and not
all the silky hair, I'm going to have to
really maintain this and act like it's
my real hair up top because the virgin
hair, you can do whatever you want to
do. It's virgin hair, okay? But that raw
hair, you going to need to keep that in
tiptop shape. So, I'm going to recurl my
hair. I like this side the way it's kind
of curled backwards that way. But this
one, I feel like the curls are kind of
falling like forward, and I don't like
forward- facing curls. Um, so I'm just
going to curl my hair like backwards.
And then I'm going to put that long
flexi rod in my hair um overnight. And
she was like, "Sleep with a claw clip."
Baby, I can't sleep with a claw clip.
She says she hate flexi rods. I can do
flexi rods. They're soft. They don't
bother me. And I literally put them as
tight as I can to my scalp or in this
case as my bundles, my WS, and I don't
feel them. That long heatless curl flexi
rod is just so big and bulky that
irritates me at night. I can't I can't
do that one. Um but yeah, that's all.
I've been talking for 13 minutes, girl.
Yeah, let's wrap it up. Today is my
graduation day. Today is June 13th. It
is 7:47 in the morning and I'm waiting
for my makeup appointments at 8:00. I
got that little heatless curler rod
thing in my hair, but I know I'm already
going to have to like really really
touch up my hair when I get home. So, at
first my appointment was supposed to be
at 8:00 and it still 8:30 and now it's
back at 8:00. Um, glad it's 8:00 now
because 8:30 Oh, she it only takes her
30 minutes. She's really quick. Um, but
I'll be getting done by like 9:00 and
then I'll have to go home, try to, you
know, get dressed and do my hair and
stuff like that and then be at the
Barton Coliseum at literally 9:30. So,
my man is going to drop me off and then
he's going to come back. So, we got to
be there by 9:30. So, I'm not trying to
get there like right at 9:30. So, as
soon as I get back home and get dressed
and everything, we'll probably just go
ahead and head that way so we can still
have time to come back because after
that, once they basically get dressed,
then he's going to have to they're going
to have to head right back out. Um, so
yeah, it's Jason, Nikki at my house.
Obviously, Jackson and my man, my sister
and my mom is going to come together,
and then my cousin Dina, cousin Shyra,
and then my cousin Bri is basically
going to drop together as well. Um,
that's all that I know that is coming.
Um, and that's really all that's not
really who I invited. Like, I posted it
publicly, so like if somebody wants to
come, they could come. But,
um, yeah, that's really all that I, you
know, really just talked to on a regular
that's coming. my other friend. Oh,
De'arra and Josh as well. They're
supposed to be coming with Jojo um and
then coming to eat with us. Um and then
who else? Jana. She is in Texas. She's
on her way back from Texas today. So,
she may or may not be there for
graduation or she'll probably try to
come to the I don't know, girl. But
that's that. Um my makeup, I always get
just Princess Glam with her. It's $90. I
already paid I think $35 deposit. I paid
this back in April because I was
supposed to get my makeup done in April,
but I think I already told y'all about
that. And so, we just rescheduled for
today. Um, 8 a.m. appointments have an
extra $40 fee, so I already paid that
last night with Apple Pay. So, that's
basically your tip there, but I just got
$60 out the bank. These are crispy 20s,
too. I went to Bank of America. It's not
my bank, but I went to Bank of America
to get it out. Charged me $4, which is
fine. Whatever. Um, but yeah. So, all I
have left to pay is $55. So, I got 60.
And then, like I said, I just paid an
extra $40 for having an 8 a.m.
appointment. Um, her rules is she will
let you in up to 5 minutes before your
time. If you are 1 minute late, it is a
$20
extra fee. So, I always try to make sure
I'm on time for her.
And after 5 minutes, your appointment's
cancelled. So, I'm going to go ahead and
put this cash in my wallet. I'mma do it
facing upward like this so I can just
grab it because I do have some other
cash in there and I do not want to get
that mixed up. Um I did not have time to
decorate my cap.
Um I was going to buy some stuff
yesterday but then my man wanted to go
out and get some stuff, you know, for
me, whatever for graduation and stuff.
And I also did not have time to go get a
film [snorts]
because we were at Nikki's dad's for
about an hour and a half, maybe two
hours, and then we all went out to eat
at Davis Burgers last night. I probably
popp Tinka [crying] eating ice cream for
the first time. At first he was kind of
like iffy because he don't really like
cold stuff. So like he had some ice
water straight out of the um you know
fountain or whatever. Not fountain, but
you know where you get the drinks from?
Yeah, I guess fountain.
>> And it was just way too cold for him.
But also they had ice [laughter] in it
too. But he just don't like really
really cold stuff. Um so then the ice
cream it kind of threw him off a bit but
then he was you know asking for more
saying more more. So yeah he liked it.
I'll pop it in. And um yeah now we're
here and I don't know if I'm I don't
know. I really don't want I really don't
care the vlog the vlog up in there
today. I trying to get in and get out
and I'm so tired. We went to bed well I
went to bed at midnight. I think
everybody else went about 30 to 45
minutes after.
So yeah. Excuse me y'all. Y'all and
everything face. I'm tired. I'm tired.
Y'all [snorts] can probably tell my
face. I did my skincare this morning.
Didn't record because obviously trying
to get out the house. I'll record for
y'all a different day, but I literally
had a pimple pop up yesterday. I'm like,
perfect. Literally right before
something important. And I never get
breakouts really except for like
hormonal acne when my cycle's about to
come. So, my cycle is going to come I
think next weekend. So, I guess maybe
it's already just starting a week prior.
So, whatever. 7:51. Um,
it's 7:55. I'm going to just go ahead
and go walk around. So, she's Good
morning again, y'all. So, my makeup is
done. Some on my ear. So, I have my cap
on. It got like a headband on it. And
then I did a bobby pin on each side
because obviously the cap is supposed to
come down to like right here, but yeah,
we're not going for that look. We need
to be real cute and I want to be able to
see my part and stuff. So, yeah, I got
these little pins in just so I can keep
just so I can keep my little bump in the
front. But yeah, the um heatless curls
did pretty okay. Um hopefully my hair
stay just until graduation and I'm going
to put my gown and everything else on
like when we get there because I didn't
want to wrinkle it up in the car and
then my classmates said they'll probably
just put it on when they get there as
well. So it is what 9:19. They say we're
going to get there at 9:29. Supposed to
be there by 9:30. So [snorts] I guess
we'll see. Hopefully I see everybody
else walking in so we know where to go.
But yeah, Bae is taking me dropping me
off and he got to come back and then
him, Nikki, J sign, and then Jax, like I
said, they're going to go and then my
mom and my sister and then, you know, I
already told y'all that want to get my
makeup done. So, yeah, he's going to
take my camera back home.
I'm pretty sure you'd be able to
probably bring this in, right?
>> I mean, it's a camera. It's a
graduation. As long as they can see
everything, you know.
>> If not, you
>> want your camera in a plastic bag,
>> okay? Cuz y'all y'all ain't going to do
right. So when you record or have
somebody record long form, if not, it's
fine. I can still put it in here if it's
not long form. So don't stress that too
much, but definitely get me going across
and stuff like that and like keep it
recording.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> All right. Thank you. All right. I'll
talk to y'all after graduation. I'll
just put in clips from what all
everybody else got because Yeah. I don't
trust them with my camera. Y'all
expensive.
led by associate dean and program

the kitchen for your tablet

>> I don't unless they do.

This my drink. I got a What is this?

>> What is this? Strawberry.
>> Is it a margarita? Okay. I got a
strawberry margarita right here. Look

>> The camera.
>> Um, yes.
>> Best it for me.
>> I did that. Thank you.
[laughter]
>> I got to show y'all what my man got me
when we get back home. I forgot to show
y'all.
>> You in this real quick. Is that your
thing now?
>> Literally. Literally.
>> So when I pass my board exam, this will
be my predictions.
>> And she called me the rim queen.
>> Yeah, I might need to look.
>> I ordered a medium because I felt like
want
>> This is so cute.
>> A That's cute. It's a It's a air
conditioner [crying] for your car. Okay.
It got me on it.
>> Smell it.
>> M. I can eat that.
>> Okay. [laughter] It smells good.
>> It smells sweet. I smell it.
>> Yeah. It's strawberry.
>> Thank you. I pulled this out. You ain't
getting my bread.
>> Oh, no. [laughter]
>> Jason. [laughter]
You got money.
>> Actually, that's mine.

mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese.

>> Did you like them?
Sit down, baby.
>> Oh, you must have got the What's your
entree again? Or did you just get my

Meanwhile, mine gone.
>> I didn't drunk mine before you.
>> Mine gone, too.
>> I ain't trying to hear that. She look

>> Yeah, she feeling it.
>> Every time I take a sip of it, I take a
sip of water.
>> Well, you already took you already had
two drinks, so I'll give you that.
>> I ain't trying to hear none of that.
>> I'll give you that. You can't go over
that blood. Thanksgiving.
>> I'm sorry. [laughter]
Is different time.
>> Girl, you got to be a father now. I
ain't no problem. I ain't got no mouth.
I took them chillies.

as far as you can and pull it up.
>> That ain't work, girl.
>> Are you pulling it putting it under?
Okay, keep it. No, you don't. You
>> It's a It's a paper under there.
>> Get under the paper.
>> There we go. There we go.
>> That's your slice.
>> Put that right there. So, I'm kidding.
>> Yeah. [laughter]
>> Any ID me. What if I was 20? What if I
was 20 graduating college? [laughter]
>> I could be 20 graduating college.

go home.

nothing too crazy.
>> Nothing too crazy. Babe, back there with
Jack, my mom, my sister, Jason. home.
Huh?
>> What happened?
>> I don't know. I'm vlogging. I don't know
what y'all talking about. I'm just
saying hi to everybody.
>> Subscribers.
>> Jojo.
>> Jojo. Look.
>> Jojo.
>> Auntie subscribers on the camera. Tell
them what's happening.
>> Hey, Jojo. [laughter]
>> We got to get into the car. Jojo.
>> Oh, I just love you, Jojo.
>> Hey y'all. Today is the day after
graduation. It is Sunday, June 14th. It
is 1:21 in the evening. So, I kind of
straightened up a little bit. I
straightened up the living room and I'm
kind of just picking up trash. So, Nikki
and Jason stay with us the whole
weekend. And then some of my family came
over here yesterday as well to kind of
touch up makeup, touch up hair,
different things like that. It was busy
busy busy. Everybody getting dressed,
everybody. It's It was just a lot going
on and it was like a lot of stuff in
here. So, I cleaned up just a little
bit. Jackson is sleep, but I do want to
kind of utilize this time to be able to
study as well for my board exam. Um,
let's say. So, yeah. Yeah, but I did
want to show you guys what I got for
graduation and just a little recap. So,
yesterday was amazing. Um, I do have a
degree in general studies. I have an
associates degree um in general studies.
This is just a catchup for the new
people because I've been getting some
people asking. So, I have a degree from
Arkansas State University, associates
degree. And I was originally going for
my BSN at Arkansas State University. I
did not get into the nursing program
there because it is very competitive and
I'm pretty sure all the girls had like
dang their 4.0's so I didn't get in
there. Then I transferred and went to
Baptist Health College where I just
graduated from but from a different
program. Um I was doing the LPN program
there. I withdrew after my first
semester there. Well LPN is only a year.
So LPN is from like July to December and
then from January to what June kind of
like the program that I did now. And I
was a I withdrew after I got done with
like my sophomore year I guess you could
say because anyway yeah and I withdrew
for personal reasons like for my mom and
stuff. It was just a lot going on with
family and life and I withdrew because
it was just a lot going on. Then I went
back in 2020 for LPN at Baptist Health
College of Little Rock and I didn't
realize that everything was going to be
completely online because of COVID and
I'm not a type of person that can learn
with strictly online um anything. I used
to have online classes in college and I
hated them. Um, didn't learn anything.
Didn't pay attention. It was mostly like
histories and different things like
that, different classes like that. So, I
really didn't learn anything. Um, but
besides that, I withdrew after the first
month because it was just recorded
lectures in one instructor. Oh my gosh,
I could not stand her voice and I just
could not understand anything from her
and retain any information. So, I'm
like, "Yeah, I'm not about to sit here
and waste my money. this is not going to
work out. Then when I was withdrawing, I
got a job at Baptist Health Hospital and
I started working as a patient care tech
there. That gave me a little bit more
insight into being a nurse and basically
what all in what it all entails because
when I was in nursing school, we went to
clinicals, you know, we were there. We
had to be there by like what 5:30, 6
o'clock in the morning. We left at like
2 3:00 in the evening. We didn't see
much of what was going on. And plus, we
only basically focused on one patient.
baby, they got six patients and it it's
just a lot. Nurses, it's a lot that that
they go through. And I knew that's not
something I wanted to do for the rest of
my life. And I know before I said, it's
a ton of other things you can do with
nursing, different things like that.
It's just not for me. Um, I didn't want
to do any cosmetic things. I thought I
wanted to be a clinical nurse, but then
I got the taste of working 2 to 3 12
hour shifts a week and literally be
done. So, I'm like, yeah, clinic life
isn't for me anymore because I don't
want to work on Monday to Friday. Okay,
so that's why nursing is just not for
me. and mentally it is way too much and
I've been staying up. Anyway, that's
that. I graduated yesterday from Baptist
Health College and I graduated with the
from the school of sleep technology.
This is what my diploma says. And if I
want my degree in sleep technology, I
will have to go to Palaski Tech and then
take a few more courses, like two or
three courses, something like that. and
then I'll be able to have my actual
degree in sleep. But yeah, we we
probably not doing that. But anyways,
this is she. I got her. And then I'm
going to go ahead and show you some of
my gifts. Yesterday was amazing. Um
graduation was fun. I end up walking the
wrong way back to my seat. It was so
funny. But anyways, everybody came,
showed up, showed out. It was great.
Dinner was great. Um now the food, I
wouldn't say it's great. It's good if
you just, you know, need something if
you're downtown and need something to
eat. I've had better. The macaroni was
not all that at all. Um,
my fillet was good. Um, my potatoes was
good. Everybody else said their food was
pretty good as well, except for my
sister. She got like the pasta, but I
had already heard about the pasta
anyway. But yeah, they give really,
really big pieces of shrimp. But anyway,
these flowers are from my bull, my man.
My man, my man, my man. And he gave me
some flowers. Always go above and beyond
with the flowers, honey. Probably spend
another $100 or something on that. Um,
and then I got for my honey bun some
Hocas. So, if you watched that vlog, you
know what I'm talking about. Either the
last vlog or the vlog before last. I
think the last vlog when I was talking
about the Hocas. Um, I forgot the brand
that I bought. I think I said it in the
video maybe, but a few of y'all were
telling me to get the Bondi or Bondi,
not sure how you pronounce it. Um, but
that's what he ended up getting me. He
went to the store up the street and
bought me some. So, these are all pink.
They did bring out some blue ones, but
he was like, "Uh, no." Cuz that's going
to, you know, clash with her scrubs
because I'm already going to be wearing
blue scrubs. But I did get the Bondi or
Bondi, however you say. I'm sorry if I'm
pronouncing it wrong in all pink. Super
cute. But I think the blue would look
really nice since my girls would be
blue. Already tried them on. Feels like
I'm walking on a cloud. So that last
style that I had, if I can find it, I'll
like pop up the name or something right
here. But oh my gosh, that was the worst
shoe I've ever worn in my entire life.
It felt like I was walking on bricks and
the bricks was just compressing my feet
together. Absolutely horrible. These,
just touching them, they already feel
soft and squishy. And like I said, I
already tried them on and started
walking around. So, I do really like
them. So, I'm glad that he bought me
them. That was like literally my only
request when people was asking me for
what I wanted for um a graduation gift.
And then he got me [clears throat] a
little gift basket. I already took my
Gushers out. I had Gushers in here, my
checks mix. We love to do a cute little
gift basket of favorite things. Some
goldfish. He got me a cute candle. And
then this one I've never had from Tree
Hut. And I need to see if he still got
this receipt because baby, I need this
for my Fed rewards points. He gave me
the golden vanilla. And I think it'll
probably leave me with a pretty cute
glow after using this. So, I'm super
excited about that. He got me two
blooms. We love blooms. And then he got
me these that we got for Donna as well.
I'm super glad because when I bought
them from Donna, I was like, "Oh my
gosh, I want that, too." It came in a
two pack. I already used one. That's why
it's mine in there. And he paid for um
he paid for everybody at dinner. So it
was I think 10 of us. And obviously with
a big dinner party like that, they'll
usually bring out one check. And so he
literally just paid for the whole table.
Love that. And then he booked me a
massage at the best massage place here
in Arkansas. It's in Hot Springs. So, I
don't really know what we're going to be
doing next week, but next week we are
going to go to Hot Springs so I can get
my massage. Um, he'll probably go have
fun in the casino until I'm done. It'll
take about an hour or so, I think, is
what he booked. And then, yeah, I don't
know what else we're doing because I'm
like, well, you know, are we going to
stay down there or we come back? He was
like, "Don't worry about all that. Don't
worry about all that." So, he got
something else up his sleeve for next
week. So, that's part of my graduation
gift as well. And I got a cake. I posted
it on my socials. Um, but I'll pop it in
here as well. And then from my bestie
girl, I need to throw this trash out. I
got a cute card and it was signed by
her, her husband, her dad, which I call
my pops. Um, her little brother, and
then her stepmom wasn't able to sign
because she was at work, I think. I got
some face masks. I got that card. I got
this cute little Cheers like wine glass.
And then she gave me my favorite, of
course, Reese's. And then I got some
Sour Patch Kids. And I got
oh cute shirt. So she always calls me
the rim queen now. So it says the rim
queen and then what my credentials will
be when I take my sick board RPSGT.
And she gave me this cute pen as well
that was customized. And of course it
says the rim queen. Oh, I showed y'all.
Oh, I showed y'all all this yesterday.
Okay, y'all already saw it to show you
guys. So they gave my boyfriend some
stuff as well for his um birthday. A
late birthday gift. His birthday was in
February, but since they were down here,
they were able to give it to him in
person. Um, but it says JC and then it
has a scripture right there. They asked
me what his favorite scripture was, but
I don't really know if he ever told me,
so I'm not sure. But he said he's not
going to use these. He's going to use
these other ones that doesn't have his
name on them because he don't want to
mess them up. But he plays the keys and
then he's about to start back playing
his guitar. His dad just brung that. So,
it's in our closet. And then he used to
well he he played the drums as well, but
like that's not what he played mostly.
But yeah, he's excited to get back into
that. And then they got him a bunch of
snacks and things like that. So this
right here is what I was showing y'all
yesterday for Father's Day. I'm going to
go ahead and take them out the box just
to inspect them and stuff because, you
know, I don't want to take them out the
box [snorts] the day before Father's Day
and then let's say it's damaged or
something like that. I'm just going to
hide it in my closet or in our closet
until it's time. Okay,
so this is the first one. The box
doesn't look too bad, so I think I'm
going to present it in its box. Um, I
don't know. I think I was thinking of
putting like maybe one shoe. I was
thinking about maybe putting one shoe on
top and then I don't know if I want to
do that or just have him surprised. I
may just keep him surprised and then
when he take a picture, he'll just take
a picture with the shoe out. But like I
said, um, he needs some more like house
shoes, just everyday like slides and
things like that. So, I got this in a
size I don't know, it say 13 and 14. I
thought I picked 14 because they was
like they ran small. So, I mean, if they
do, I'll just return them and then get a
bigger size for him. But, I thought the
color was really cute. So, this one can
either be his new house shoe or the
other one that just came in as well.
I'll show y'all that one. And like I
said, I'm going to hide this cuz it's
about to be his foot big, girl. So, I'm
going to have to hide that box. And this
box looks smaller.
Oops.
Okay, so this one says 14 and then under
it says a 15. So I guess this one came
in a 13 and this one came in a 14. So
this might have been the one where they
said it ran small and then I went back
and switched it from a 13 to a 14. Um,
so yeah, this is how it looks because
maybe because it's a closed toe, they
said it ran small and it wasn't too
wide, but it kind of looked like
glittery on the inside. I don't know if
it's picking up on camera, but this
strap is removable. So, if he didn't
want this strap back here, he can remove
that and then just kind of have a closed
toe shoe. So, I don't know. I feel like
he may wear these for inside since it's
kind of giving more of like a house
shoe. Um, and then of course he can
decide if he want that. But anyway,
that's what I got him. And then his um
Raybans isn't supposed to be here. It
said until next Thursday. Well, I just
get a notification from UPS and it said
it was going to be here tomorrow. Girl,
I did pay extra $15 for rapid shipping,
but like I said, that was supposed to be
for next week and it's already going to
be here tomorrow. So, I'm super glad
about that. Um, I still have not bought
the underwear yet. So, I'm going to look
online today. Hopefully, that doesn't
take too long. And then I think with
ordering stuff, I should be done because
I should be able to find um if I still
decide to get a cologne, I should be
able to find a cologne like in store or
to Sephora somewhere. Um, and then his
other little goodies. So, he requested
he did say he wanted some new white like
tank top things from Target. It's a
really good brand. Um, so I'll probably
go get those and just pick up some more
of his favorite things. Not really
snacks since they just bought him a ton
of snacks. So, like I said, I got the
dental floss. Just different things that
he used. Maybe like some soaps, just
different things like that. Um, yeah.
That's all. That's my haul. I'm going to
put all these boxes up so he can break
them down, put them in the recycle bin.
I'm going to finish cleaning up the
kitchen a little bit and the dining room
table, but I'm not going to do like a
deep clean. I just need to just surface
clean basically. And then I'm going to
hopefully hope Jack stays sleep so I can
um study for a little bit until he wakes
up and then obviously
I'm just busy. So, I'll talk to you
later.
>> Okay. Today is Tuesday, June 16th. It is
now 3:16 in the evening. Why do I look
What's going on?
Is [snorts] it that lighting? Why does
the lighting look crazy? But it's 3:17
and today, this morning, well, first
off, I've tried to go to bed at like 11,
well, yeah, 10:30, 11:00 last night and
I've kind of been up ever since. So, I
went to bed, woke up at like 2:00, used
the bathroom. My nerves and everything
has just been really, really bad because
today was my board exam. If you follow
me on my other socials besides YouTube,
minus Tik Tok. I haven't posted there
[crying] yet. But then you already know
that I've passed my state. [cheering]
So, we had to be there by 7:30 for
check-in and then we take the test at 8.
We kind of took it a little bit before 8
simply because we all got there pretty
early for check-in and things like that.
Um, so yeah, it was 175 questions. It
isn't like the INLEX to where I believe
the INLEX shuts you off once you
answered, you know, so many or enough
questions. Um, so yeah, we got to take
all 175 questions. Only 150 count
towards your basically grade. The other
25 is basically for them to be able to,
you know,
see what they need to do for the next
test basically. But yes, your girl
passed. I have my paper and everything
like that. I posted a little bit of it.
Well, a little picture inside one of my
pictures on Instagram and things like
that. Hey, stop. Jackson is moving my
setup right now. Um, but yeah, I got my
registration ID. I am a registered
polyomnographic technologist. Talk to me
nice. Um, my credentials are Cara Baker
RSGT.
The test,
I don't know. The test wasn't as hard as
I thought it was going to be, but it
definitely was. I feel like the most
stressful, hardest test that I've taken
in my life simply because the wording
for this exam was absolutely insane
because they just of course word stuff
to try to trip you up. But also, it was
a bunch of stuff on there that was like
um here here
it y'all won't understand what it is
anyway, but it was some stuff on there
that I never even studied and I'm like
girl I know I failed but at the end so
with this exam it tells you the exact
same day in the exact moment that you
push submit whether you pass or fail.
So, that's a good and bad thing cuz I
know some programs you'll have to wait a
few days or even months and weeks to get
your results, but yeah. No, it said pass
and little bitty small print and then
you have to go to the front and then
they'll give you a print out of your
results and things like that. So, yeah,
my license is good for 5 years and then
I got to renew. So, I can renew by
either taking the exam again, which I'm
definitely not doing, or we have to get
50 hours of like certification thing.
It's It's something. It's something,
girl. I have to look into it more a
little bit. But yeah, your girl passed
her state board exam. The passing rate
for this exam is 40.1%.
[music]
I just want that to sink in. Don't mind
my hair, girl. I just got up and brushed
it and left. Yeah, it's a 40.1%
to pass the RPSGT
examination.
Woo! Glad to be gang. But now I'm going
to I already got I already accepted my
job offer as a non-registered tech. But
now that I'm registered, um basically
they're going to have to send me another
like job offer letter because y'all
about to pay me my money, especially cuz
I don't start working until next month
at my new job. So once they send that
over, everything will be great and I
cannot wait to get that first check.
Also, a good thing about where I'm
working is,
hey, stop. A good thing that a good
thing that I like about my new job is
benefits kick in day one. You don't got
to wait an extended little 90-day period
or whatever like that. Benefits are
amazing. Y'all know at my job now that
I'm at I mean I had to fight fight fight
with them just to get FMLA and literally
had couldn't I wasn't qualified for
bonding time like nothing. They have
FMLA they have PTO they got personal
time off two different things.
[laughter] They have um bonding time
they have another four-week thing like
sign me up baby sign me up and they also
get paid the most. But yeah, I'm super
excited. Um, hope everything works out
really well. But I did want to show you
guys that I just got in his well, one of
his gifts that I was telling y'all
about. So, this is actually his rain
dance. I'm going to open it so you can
see how they look. Make sure they're not
damaged because opening things right
before you get that out your mouth. Get
out your mouth. Opening things right
before you have to give it to somebody
is not recommended. Girly pop. And I
can't stop saying I've been saying girly
pop every time I watch um Mama June
Pumpkin and Alana always say that and
Pumpkin is gone wild, baby. I don't know
what to say about [laughter] her if
y'all watch them. But yeah. Okay. Also,
did I tell y'all that I got a um
discount with them? Yeah, I think I did.
Anyways, here they go. Oh, he's going to
be so excited. He's been literally, like
I said, talking about this for at least
four to five months for sure. And I've
been telling him, "Boy, don't buy that.
You don't need that."
So freaking cute. And I'm going to keep
them in the box and everything because
obviously I want him to get the full
experience and I'm not going to really
just unbox everything, but it comes with
the little manual, I guess, cleaner. And
then this is the case.
How stinking cute. Then it says Ray-B
bands right there. The case is really
sturdy and it has Ray-B bands on the
little button as well.
Hey. Hey. Get out of there. Look at
them. Bad. Get out. Get out of there.
[laughter]
And these are how they look. So, I just
got a regular plain standard black pair
so that it could go with everything that
he wears. And if you have Ray-B bands,
then you already know. But it say Ray-B
bands right here on the lens. And then
it has Ray-B bands right here as well on
the side. And I don't know about Yeah.
And this side has it as well. So, super
cute. Um, baby, I don't I don't I don't
get the hype, but [laughter] I don't
know. I feel like when I um
get rich and stuff because I'm going be
rich, but when I really start just
having money and making crazy amounts of
money,
I don't want to say never, but man, I
may buy me like a cute little Chanel
pair of shades or something. Not even
shades cuz baby I wear glasses and I
can't wear contacts. I would probably be
the type to have like my prescription
glasses be of higher quality like a
Chanel or anything like if they even
make glasses but you know some name
brand something like that. But I don't
know as [laughter] far I'm not just a
shades girly so that's probably why. Um
other than that I don't know. I feel
like I would just be spending all my
money on home decor and home
improvements and different things like
that because [clears throat]
decor is hot, you know? So, all my money
would be going to that. But yeah, I'm in
a good mood. I am extremely tired and
wore out. Like I said, I've been up
really since 2:00 a.m., then went back
to sleep, woke back up at like 4:30,
tried to lay back down, been up since
5:00 a.m. studying. Jackson took an hour
nap, so I didn't even have time. I
barely had time to eat before he was up
crying. But [cough and clears throat]
luckily, Dina did say that she's going
to come over today and basically do his
bath time and feed him dinner and things
like that. And she usually like
straighten up a little bit when she's
here just to spend time with him, help
me out, different things like that. Um,
I'm so glad that I do not have to study
or worry about submitting an assignment,
study, studying, classwork, clinical,
nothing. Obviously, I got to work, you
know, starting next month, but I'm going
to be getting paid. This ain't no more
free labor, baby. Okay.
>> [crying]
>> What you do?
What you do?
What' you do? What you [laughter] do?
What' you do? What' you do?
He also has his 15-month appointment.
Can you believe 15 months? Um, Thursday.
Tomorrow I have an appointment and then
my man got something Thursday. And I
think I told y'all that part of my
graduation gift I was getting a massage.
Yeah. this Friday and then we're gonna
go out to eat and then come back home
and Dina is going to keep Jack's. So
that Saturday,
she's keeping him Friday. That Saturday
we're supposed to be going to my
cousin's
>> house, Brianna's house. Um
because we're having a family cookout, I
believe. So as soon as So she'll
obviously probably just take him to her
house and then I'll just meet him there
and then obviously bring my baby back.
my man ain't going to be able to go
because he works every Saturday and um
he already took off for my graduation
and things like that. So just taking off
back to back just ain't the good look
right now that we need and that we're
going for. So we're trying to refrain
from doing that. But yeah, I'm super
excited to be done.
It feels nice. It hasn't really sunk in
yet because I thought I was going to
cry. Um I cried going into the exam just
listening to my praise and worship. I
literally prayed so hard, studied so
hard, so so so hard for everything and
and I literally cannot thank God enough.
Literally,
none of this would be possible without
him. I prayed so hard. So hard cuz this
exam everybody, they were saying it was
so hard. But anyways, yeah, that's all.
Um, I'm about to straighten up a little
bit in the front and then I'll probably
talk to y'all. What's tomorrow?
Wednesday. I'm not really I don't know
because I haven't did a weekly vlog in a
while. So, girl, the last few times I've
been vlogging, it's been like 3 hours
worth of footage and I'm not trying to
do that again. So, I would like to I
would like to keep my probably about 45
minutes to an hour long vlogs, but girl
trying to edit 3 hours worth of stuff is
insane. So, I do need I do have a vlog
to edit and things like that, but I'm
not doing nothing else today. Tomorrow,
I may do it. We'll see. But I know for
right now I'm trying to chill and relax.
What? Stink eye. You better not put your
mouth on that.
>> Y'all, the boy don't sit down at all.
>> Stop. You can't have it. You can't have
it, baby. All right. So, I'll talk to
y'all tomorrow probably. Hey y'all.
Today, this probably be the last day I'm
vlogging, by the way. But today is
Friday, June 19th. It is 1:47 in the
evening and oh, Friday.
And I got a first off went to bed late
as I don't know what last night. And
then we had to get up. Donna came over
at about 7:30 this morning. And then we
got up literally what probably 10
minutes or so before 8:00. And then we
left out, came here. And I had a massage
at the casino. Last time I've been there
was probably about 2 years ago. But I
really, really like the place. It's
really, really nice. And 10 out of 10.
Absolutely. I feel amazing. And it's
raining right now, by the way, so
lighting is probably crazy. But I have
um what do I have? Wanted to show y'all
what I got real quick. I was trying to
vlog while this little stationery, but
um yeah. Anyway, so she gave me this
little card to say, "Miss A. Baker. It
was a pleasure to see you,
girl. I can't read cursive. And I hope
you enjoy your
spa time." And I don't know what her
name was. I forgot what it was, but they
always write you a little card. And then
they'll also recommend you some items.
So they'll have this card on the table
and then they'll recommend items, I
guess, depending on what they observe
while they massage you or something. And
what I got, first off, the box is cute.
Came with a little bow.
It's blue. I thought that was cute. And
what I got was 50
$50.
Oh my card just
I bought this oil. I don't know how you
say this. It's from some farm. She said
it's all natural organic and things like
that. It was made in Utah and bloom in a
bottle and Camela oil, I guess. I don't
know. I'll just show y'all what it say.
Y'all can read. And I got this because
she used another oil with some different
oils on me, but I really like a cute Oh,
yeah. Calming and rejuvenate. So, yeah,
she used um a calming oil on me, so I
decided to go ahead and just pick
[snorts] this up because I told her that
I really liked it. So, this is probably
what she used on me or something like
it. Um yeah, is it worth $50? I don't
know. I guess we going to see. $52 right
here. That's how much it was. And that's
all I got from there. And then where did
we go? We went somewhere for brunch.
What was it called? What was that
called? Good. Best uh
>> something calf. Best calf. Best cafe.
Something with that. And um it was good.
My pancake was literally huge. They gave
me two huge pancakes. The ham was good.
The fruits that shouldn't have been $5,
but it was $5. And then what did he get?
Eggs. The sausage was spicy. His sausage
was spicy.
And he got the biscuit was good and
soft. So yeah, it was good. I probably
rate it about a seven out of 10. and we
had um the flight, something like that.
That was good. I rate that 10 out of 10
if you love mimosas and stuff. So, right
now we're about seven minutes away from
this other jewelry place. Um I think I
told y'all in one of my other vlogs when
someone had commented that comment. I
forgot what she said. Anyway, we had
went and got ring sized in February and
then after February,
what was that?
I ordered those two rings from Amazon to
try on and see what style I like. And he
didn't I'm calling it Marquis,
but he I think he said what did he say?
Marqui.
>> Marquee.
>> Marquee. So I've been saying it wrong. I
don't know how to say it, girl. But it's
my first time ever seeing that diamond,
ever looking at it, hearing about it,
whatever. So the Marquee, if I'm saying
it right now, is what I really, really
like. And I just tried that on. Um, I
may pop in some videos, but the guy
wrote down everything for JC because
he was throwing out a lot of information
and a lot of details. So, we're on our
way to another shop here in Still in Hot
Springs while we're here. Just kind of
go ahead and get out the way. Um, is
that all we're going to do today? That's
the last place. Or you want to go to one
in Little Rock like Zales or something?
Or just let this be it?
>> We'll see, bro. We'll see when we get
home. I'm getting a little rock though.
>> All right. So, we'll see when we get
back home if we do another one. Maybe
like K's. I know Nikki said hers is from
K's. K's Brazil. I don't know. Maybe
something more known just in case so I
can get it clean because I would have to
come. They don't have one in Little
Rock. He said they got one in Alabama.
Two in Alabama now, I think.
>> And no, two in Texas, one in Alabama.
Mobile, Alabama, one here in Hot
Springs, and then they have one in
Elorado. Girl, no. We're not close to
none of them. So, I would have to
obviously come here like every six
months for it or whatever. So, maybe
somewhere like K's or Sales, you know,
you can find those places a lot better.
So, we'll see. Yeah, that's all we
doing. I'll talk to y'all when we get
back to the house.
