WEEK IN MY LIFE ON NANTUCKET 🐋⛵🌊 best week of the year! beach days, shopping, cisco, restaurants

Hi everyone. Welcome back to another Nantucket vlog. We've actually been here basically for the week and then today my friends start to come in. We're switching Airbnbs um and we actually have our Stitch tour pop-up this morning. So this past week Charlie and I really just been like relaxing / working / like prepping for the pop-up, doing all that stuff, and just trying to get as much done as we could work wise so that this week we could take off more. So we are actually we're checking out of this Airbnb and then we're going to move to the one with our friends. Harrison, Caroline, and Presley are getting here today around 3:30. And then Macy and Alexa are coming on Monday which I'm really excited for. Also I'm just like dying to be in like hey guys and gosh just doing all that. Anyway, um this morning is the Stitch tour pop-up at Erica Wilson on Nantucket obviously which is like so exciting. Nantucket is my favorite place in the entire world. I just love it here. The whole no influencers thing is unfortunate. Anyway, so like my camera you won't see. My phone if I get any clips out it'll be incognito. You'll have to literally no idea. Also by the way I get a lot of questions on how to do Nantucket on a budget. Here's the thing about Nantucket it is so expensive. Like it really is just so expensive so I'm never going to sit here and tell you that like these things are on a budget just because like they're expensive. They're not. But I will say the Airbnb that we just stayed in it's a guest house at this woman's house which is like kind of the experience I wanted anyway. I have been in Nantucket this is like my sixth or seventh time here and I've never stayed in like a guest house it's always been either hotels or like stand-alone houses and I really wanted to one I've never just come with like one person so I was like this is my time to like stay. I wanted to like stay at like a local's property. You know what I mean? Anyway, we stayed here at Jill's house. And guys, unbelievable. She's the best. And it's a really good price. So, if you're looking for in Nantucket, I want to preface this by for Nantucket, it's not that this is like um nothing is like super cheap here here like at all. But, for Nantucket pricing, really amazing place. And the host is so incredible. And she's more like a friend than a host. And like she's just the best. So, if you guys are interested, I will link that Airbnb listing for you guys below. But, anyway, we're about to head off to Born and Bread to get my favorite iced latte, and then to Erica Wilson for the pop-up. And then after that, we're going to check in to the new Airbnb. But anyways, here's what I'm wearing. This um skirt that I got in Charleston at Hill House. You guys might have seen that vlog. And then it matches my headband, which is really cute. Erica Wilson's actually like right next door to um I was going to say to Nantucket, to Hill House. I'm also I'm not wearing this to Born and Bread, but I will be wearing this to the pop-up. Like that has to happen. Also, I got this bag. It's a Chanel bag on resale for like the best price I've ever paid for any sort of like nice bag like that. I don't even know the name. I can figure it out, but it fits so much. I have my needlepoint book, everything in here. This is the best purchase. I got it when I was looking for bridal bags in the Hamptons more recently. And I'm like, wait, honestly, when I got it in, I'm like, I will actually wear this like more than any other bag. And I brought so many bags this trip, and all I've been wearing is this. And then really my Margo shoes, which These are not Margo shoes. I'll show you guys those later. But, anyway, I haven't vlogged in a week, so like suddenly this is a 4-minute clip. Let me see if I can get up a little bit taller. Um we are devastated, absolutely devastated, because I'm going to get over to this trolley. Boarding Bread is closed on Sundays and Mondays. >> Wait, what? >> Exactly. Exactly. >> That sucks. >> Yeah, thank god I got my coffee last night. Obviously, as you guys I'm sure have seen on social media, or maybe you haven't. If you haven't seen the whole influencer debacle thing, I will say, like I think it's just people who are being not like thoughtful about other people and just like having their phones out taking photos and videos and stuff. All the time I think it's like necessarily influencers. I think it's like just people with like phones in the streets or whatever. Also, with that being said, there's been two major TV shows that have been made from Elin Hilderbrand's books, who was our book club author in the past couple of years. So, like obviously, the island right now is busier. Anyway, all I have to say, Boarding Bread is like so busy now. Like the line's insane. And we used to go to Boarding Bread because there wasn't a line there, and that's why I discovered that that's the best iced chai in the world, cuz I got it randomly and like there was no line. And now there's a line, and this has been this way for a bit now. There's a line for like so long. So, anyways, we were going to like get up and just like wait in it again, like we've been doing every morning. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Guess what? Today's Sunday. My poor friends who have just gotten here. At least I've had it all week, you know? But thank god I got my coffee. So, here we are. It's fabulous. Really fab. I can show you guys the needlepoint products that been working on. I'm waiting for my friends to wake up. Also, I brought mahjong for us all and I think I forgot the racks. Like I'm devastated. The new Nantucket mahjong map though, as I'm sure you saw yesterday at the um Erica Wilson pop-up, like oh my god, she's everything. Okay, so let me show you guys what I have been stitching. So, oh yeah, first up, here's my August dolly of the month. How cute. Sorry if I'm whispering this is super annoying, but I'm going to make this a little door hanger I think for like birthdays, whenever it's someone's birthday it'll come out. Kind of how I wanted to do for the like birthday cake, but now I just love that one and that it stays out year-round as a celebration cake, so love that. I stitched this. I'm not done. I obviously have another background. I'm not done. Also, like the detailing on this isn't so amazing on my end as a stitcher, but I stitched it outside and it was really bright, so I couldn't really see well, which is why it's not amazing, but I still really like it. I'm kind of thinking about making it an acrylic stand um or I'll just do an ornament. We'll see. I've never done a stand before and I feel like this could be cute in our living room. I'm also stitching the Nantucket collection as a manifestation for our future Nantucket home. Also, doing this and then I just need to get an oval to trace for the background and then I'm going to do a little sand background and it's going to be a an ornament, but like it's really really really cute. Another part of our Nantucket collection. Um okay, I ran out of my very velvet, so I'm not done with this one yet and I will when I get home. This one's going to be an ornament. It's our Nantucket dolly 13 mesh and then I did a little basket background as a little nod to like the Nantucket baskets cuz I thought it was really sweet, but I still need to get that velvet back and they haven't had it at either of the Erica Wilsons, so I need to get that when I'm home. Oh, I haven't started on this. I have a bunch of other projects that I just brought with me and then last night I finally started on my big Nantucket scene, which I love and I just did some of the pink detailing around. Loving that. I've been on like crazy true crime kick this week. We've watched like four documentaries. Like we just get home and like watch the documentaries. It's like one hour we'll do it. It's like I haven't been doing it. We watched Send Her to Mother. What else have we watched? Um oh, I like Cherry, Merry and Murderer something like that. I just finished that one yesterday. Send Her to Mother that one um Amy Bradley, The Disappearance of Amy Bradley. I just started the new Idaho Murders one. I'm just like really on a kick. It's not even all true crime, but I'm just really on like a documentary kick and I'm like, "Oh my god, this world is like crazy." The Amy Bradley thing, oh my god, if you guys have watched any of those, please let me know your theories. That was she's definitely alive. Like it's actually like horrific. I can't even like get into it, but anyway, I need to drink my coffee, wait for my friends to wake up. We had the best dinner at Where the Whale Last Night. Um it's a really good one if you're looking to get into a restaurant like and you need reservations and you can't get a reservation anywhere else. Um not because like you would only go there to get a reservation I'm just trying to say like you can't get reservations there typically. Um and it's really really good. Good morning, gorgeous gorgeous gals. We are off to town. We're staying outside of town. We're going to go get breakfast, go to the farmers market. I need see if I can get mahjong racks. I need to get hats. It's seriously so perfect. And Kenzie security. You guys actually Yeah, they're the anchors. That looks delicious. Delicious. I don't have all my stuff here. It's so good. Wow. Well, just dropped a couple things. J. Crew dress, flip-flops, and the tiger hat I got this morning, Longchamp bag. The hat is really cute. Thank you. Yeah, I got this different one to wear to the beach. Thank you. See, I love a hat in the summer. In high school I went through a big that hat phase. Yeah, yeah, yeah. >> There's two sisters. No, so Alexa and I wore these cute little like Daily Drills sets. >> God forbid. God forbid. >> We're fully matching. No, literally. We're fully matching in like navy and white stripes. And we're on a little night walk with Harrison, which once we got back then I realized Harrison was also wearing striped shorts. And so we're walking and I hear someone from like a rooftop yell, "Go back to bed." >> I look at her and I go, >> I was like, was that to us? And then she's like, "Oh my god, they heard." She's like, "Duck." So, I was like, "Okay, funny." Someone did compliment our sets right after that. She was like, "Love your sets." And I was like, "Thank you." >> Do you think she felt bad? >> I was like, >> And did she witness that or not? >> No, I just told her. I told her how bad I needed that compliment. >> Okay, good. >> And then, right after that, um someone goes It's like an older lady and she looks at us as walking past and she goes, "Looks like they just escaped jail." Awesome. >> Okay. >> Okay, perfect. >> So good. Mind you, everyone is turning to look at us. >> Everyone. >> Those were the two comments that we got but everyone like in our matching sets was like this. >> Heads turning, pointing like fingers pointing. >> It was the craziest thing. They obviously have not been anywhere other than here and like seen like you go to Miami and people are like not wearing anything. Imagine what they would do if they saw that. >> Good morning from Born and Bread, everyone. The best place ever. Having a bit of a devastating morning. But I did get an iced No, I just love ginger ale. This is fabulous. I got an iced vanilla latte here.
