We Waited 5 Years For This...

I have been waiting for Gears of War Eday for years. I'm an enormous fan of the franchise and it's easily my most anticipated game of the year. So, you can imagine that with all the excitement and the open beta only days away, I've barely been able to sleep at night. And then the devs do this to me. Randomly, out of nowhere, they decide to push the game live for a 1hour server stress test. As if the true fans have no jobs, no families, nothing else better to do with [music] their day than sit around and play Gears of I got on as soon as I saw the notification. So, I'm not going to lie. I don't even know the controls yet. Apparently, they've added jumping things like that. I don't know if the controls stay the same, especially on mouse and keyboard, but we're going to find out. This is my first time actually looking at the game. Oh, [ __ ] Dude, I'm in a mic. Yo yo team, any mics? Oh my god, it looks so good. Wo, the weight is completely different. Are we got we got our Nash route? Do we just still slide? Oh, we still slide. What the [ __ ] This game is crazy. And you run with shift now instead of space because they got rid of roadie running. I guess maybe that's another way to think about it. Instead of interacting with cover, it's just a different way of verticality. So can I like vault over without taking interesting. I can't believe I only have 1 hour and then I can't play this game for another couple days, man. I'm going to be so sick. I already miss it and I'm living it right now. Apparently, this game also doesn't have like nade tags or anything like that, which is a little unfortunate, but you know, new game. I'm not going to complain about the balance yet. I don't know if it's uh well, no, I think it is picked up. But I think it's going to be a lot easier for me or at least my brain to wrap around the new controls with uh the fact I'm using controller. Oh, we're on Locus side, too. Wait, does that mean I have sniper equipped? And my sniper equip did not lock in. I am just drone number four. But I want to do the D-pad controls so much nicer. It is clicking left stick to sprint, but for some reason that just that just feels way better in my hand. Yo, Verac, can you can you shut up? All right, so let's go back to Lancer.
