We Need to Talk About Tucker Carlson Running for President

uh President uh Katalison. Yes. Uh Tucker Carlson. Tucker Carlson is in the news uh because he has been meeting with other figures who have been a little shunned or or excluded from MAGA circles and and certainly Trump circles. Um and uh supposedly they are encouraging Tucker Carlson to run for president and um we're talking about uh a photograph in a meeting I guess last night with Joe Kent, Marjgerie Taylor Green, Thomas Massie all trying to convince uh Tucker Carlson uh to run for president. uh a lot of speculation online that he is starting a third party uh a um an alternative to the Republican party and but maybe maybe he's going to challenge JD Vance for the nomination of the Republican party. It's hard to tell at this point. It's also Tuck has not confirmed that he indeed is running, but he's definitely building support. uh we'll talk about his show today which was clearly an articulation of a manifesto for this uh new political party and um we'll go over we'll go over some of that uh and uh and what he said um yeah I mean he he he put out a show today called a new path forward uh with kind of 10 points um and and you know we'll talk a little bit about I I listened to the whole thing. We'll talk a little bit about what he said uh during the thing. It's, you know, it's hard to tell whether he's serious about this or whether he really will do it or won't do it. Uh but he, you know, it he's definitely creating he's trying to create a movement. He's trying to create an alternative political movement whether he runs specifically or not. uh the the political movement is being uh formed. Um and uh you know he he positions himself as the only guy standing before you know to preventing the United States from being captured and taken over by foreign elements by demonic foreign elements. You can imagine what those demonic foreign elements. Um I don't know Roland said, "Doesn't demonic position disqualify you from the pro presidency?" He wasn't possessed. I mean, let's be clear. We don't want to distort's experience with uh demons. He was he was scratched. He was attacked by demons. And if belief in demons and their activity in this world was a disqualifier from serving as president, then JD Vance would be disqualified as well. I mean, if you remember, JD Vance said he doesn't believe in UFO. He believes the spiritual being, maybe demons. Um, you know, so, so, uh, Tuck is not the only person who would be disqualified. Um, [snorts] we have a demon test. Belief in demon. You're out. You're out completely. Um, some people on the left are really excited like Sank Sue. UA, remember Sank uh from the Young Turks? Anyway, today I suppose he when was this uh posted? Yeah, yesterday. Yesterday night Joe Kent went on the Young Turks. Joe Kand, a former official in the Trump White House, national security official who'd left the White House claiming, you know, uh, Israeli influence and uh, and all of that. Joe Kent went on the Young Tukes and basically said that there was a meeting at Tucker Carlson's house where they were trying to convince Tuckson to run for president. They think JD Vance is too compromised. uh and that you know and and they are going to explicitly target um the left uh and try to create a unity ticket to represent both left and right in America. Both left and right in America. Remember I've been telling you this is coming for over a decade now. Well over a decade now. First of all I told you Tucker would would run for president one day. Now we'll see that that that prediction has not come true yet. that that he was angling for that and he would he would he would be a a viable candidate that he he he has what it takes. And then I also told you that um the recipe for authoritarianism in America, the recipe for future authoritarianism is somehow uniting the left and the right. And it might be that the unity of left and right is different than what I expected. I expected it to be around environmentalism. It looks like it won't be around environmentalism. It looks like it'll be around two basic ideas. two basic ideas which Tucker Carlson uh really embedded one a deep hatred of Israel and broadly I think anti-semitism but it won't be expressed as anti-semitism expressed all in terms of hatred of Israel and and that you know sink uh you know I think is very sympathetic to Tucker Carlson because they both hate Israel so much right so far left far right uniting over the Israel issue and uh I think Tucker is definitely angling for that. Sank by the way also um I didn't mention this but a few days ago I saw I I saw a thing where Sank said um Ukraine is now just you know uh uh Ukraine is now just like Israel. I you know I I don't support Ukraine just like I don't support Israel. They're just as bad. Uh I'm sorry I ever supported Ukraine. So the far left which used to some of its people used to support uh Ukraine you know Sanka is moving away from that it doesn't support Ukraine right so they are explicitly now unequivocally anti- west anti- civilization um and uh and for the barbarians out there in the world so uh yeah Tucker Carlson wants to form a third party a new party with as we Joe Kent and Maji Chely Green and and and maybe Massie on and and the the the one thing where they would attract the left is going to be uh hatred of Israel. The second the second is uh which is has broader [clears throat] appeal but we're also left and right will unite is a deep deep deep hatred of capitalism. A real hatred of capitalism. Tucker hates capitalism. We'll get to that in a little bit. Uh resents it. Hates it. He hates Wall Street. He hates the idea of billionaires and trillionaires and on that sank who represents the far left completely agrees with him. They're completely on board on this stuff. Right. So um you've got you've got uh uh Tucker I think attracting kind of a working class the socialist of America. um you know talking about he he mixes in this depatriotism supposedly love of America. He doesn't know what America is but he talks about love of America and a beautiful America and making America beautiful again and in in he he he of what he says sounds really really good and the half the other half he says is completely nutty. You can you can listen to his show today and an hour and a half an hour and 40 minutes uh of his ranting about this stuff. So yes, I I I think Tucker really could appeal to the left. Much of what he says, he he talked today extensively about debt slavery. We'll get to that, about how debt is slavery. That's that's straight out of the left's playbook. So yeah, a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a third party that unites the left and the right under the authoritarian banner of uh Tucker Carlson. Not crazy, not completely absolutely nuttily insane. Uh it it might be happening uh might be happening in front of our eyes. Uh I mean if somebody says the DSA united with the Islamic religion, Islam missed religion. Yeah, to some extent that's true. But Taka is very friendly to Islam. I mean he's a huge fan of the of of Qatar and and Qatar is is the worst of the Islamists. Qatar is the Muslim Brotherhood. Qatar is the base of the Muslim Brotherhood, the center of the Muslim Brotherhood and and it is the fund of Islamism around the world and the Qataris are, you know, Tak Carlson's friends. So, I don't think I don't think Taka is uh is anti-Islam. He's talked about the fact that Sharia law is a beautiful thing, that Sharia is beautiful. It's far better than the secular, you know, the secular crap of the left. So, you know, Taco, I think, could unite MAGA with elements of the left with the Islamists and um yeah, I mean, he he would get Abdul Aliad, the new Democratic candidate for for Senate uh for Michigan. Uh and um yeah, I mean, there's a there's a real there's a real chance for a political um coalition there. And you know, you'd think that Tucker Carlson is so insane and stupid and ridiculous and anti-Semitic and and uh hated hate hateful of America and of American values that he could never win. You know, I I I think that's probably that's that's a false estimate. I I think Tucker could win. I I I I mean and I've said this from the beginning. Taco would be a thousand times more dangerous than Donald Trump. Tuck is smart. Tuck one. Oh, he would also get as Anm says, he would also get the Dave Smith Libertarian faction. The Dave Smith Libertarian faction is very small. So I I don't know how many people how much you know electoral power that'll give him. Uh but he he definitely gets a sink left which is quite a bit. Um but um hard to tell uh it how how serious this is. It seems serious just based on how many people are talking about it and uh the very fact that Tucker did a whole show today. Basically laying out his agenda, his uh uh you know his vision for America, if you will. It's a 10-point vision. We'll go over it uh and and extrapolate uh and and repeatedly his hatred of Israel comes up. his hatred of usery and finance comes up uh repeatedly. His attacks on capitalism come up uh and uh his attacks on free trade on on on on kind of um I don't know liberalism the classical liberal ideas uh- which he despises and he he completely rejects. So it seems like it seems like he's Yeah, it seems like he's uh he's moving in that direction. Oh, so [clears throat] so he started out. So it's a 10 I think it's a 10 point yeah 10-point plan each focus on one word right and then he extrapolates on him again there's a hour and 40 minute video today articulating all this and you you you can go watch it if you want to wait if you want to uh I was going to say waste of time but really understand more fully uh what what he's about. But I'm going to give you a very um quick, you know, I don't have a transcript of it. I wish I did. I should have asked Chad GPD if he could give me a transcript of it. Um but um yeah, but and I could have I could have mocked that up, but so I'm just working off of some notes and off of uh uh of I'm asking Shachi if he can get it. Tucker's show from today. I'm just curious whether Chad GPT can do it. Um so let's let's uh let's start with the first one. Um so the first one is fair. So Tucker wants a fair uh America and his vision of fairness while he doesn't elaborate too much about it and he certainly doesn't talk about it in terms of any principles it look Tucker doesn't talk in principles partially he's smart so he knows he knows his audience he talks about all these issues very much from the perspective of of his audience from how they approach things and and his audience are mostly pretty simple. So when he talks about fairness, he talks about you know the the the the everybody should equal before the law. He does not rights for example. He never mentions individual rights. He never mentions that. He talks about political equality. People should be treated by the law the same way. And he said at some point, "Yeah, if you make more money and you have more money, that's okay. But if you make it and and he says, uh, there's too much too many, you know, rich people are rich because of corruption." Um, and you know, he's right. So he here he talks about he talked about Trump. He was, you know, he kind of indicated his criticism of Trump and Trump's corruption and preferential treatment for certain people. He talked about Jeffrey Epstein. Of course, that's a big issue that um that uh Tucker Carson is going to bring up over and over again. The the Jeffrey Epstein class of people kind of the rich uh the famous uh you know that is who he considers kind of the Jeffrey Epstein um uh class. [snorts] And uh yeah, I mean his episode today was called Rebuilding America after the Great Betrayal. Rebuilding America after the Great Betrayal. Good title. Good title. I don't think I don't remember him saying what the Great Betrayal was. Maybe the Great Betrayal is what he calls the the Uni Party, the fact that both parties are the same. Anyway, so he criticized Trump to his credit for for the corruption that Trump is involved in. Uh and and for the Jeffrey Epstein connection. Uh he he criticizes billionaires and trillionaires or whatever. He he indicates criticism of of them and and just the fact that the system is corrupt and he doesn't explain how you get rid of that corruption. He doesn't explain any in any kind of principle the way what you do about that corruption, you know, how you address it. Uh he just, you know, basically it's like Trump, right? Uh things are horrible. Trust me, I know how to clean it up. That that's basically what he's saying. And and it it so he wants to get rid of the corruption. He he wants to dry the swamp. He he wants to get rid of the swamp animals. What's new? who doesn't want to do all that and he wants everybody to be treated equally. Okay, that you know that that's it's hard to argue with that. It's it's what makes Tucker appealing, right? Is that he mixes up stuff with uh you know true stuff with complete madeup stuff like number two. So first one is fair. We want to live in a fair country. We need new political leaders that will make this country fair. And he said, "It's not hard to do. It's easy to do." He didn't explain how to do it. He said it's easy to do. And we need new leaders to make this country fair to stop the corruption. Second, we need sovereignty, right? We need America to be working in America's interests. And America doesn't work in America's interests. It works in other people's interest. Then of course he raises Israel as the main culprit here that manipulates American politicians to work in Israeli interest. But he he did say no it's not the only country there are other countries other people and and he said it's not just foreign countries it's all the lobbyists in general and and uh you know but but the job of politicians is is to work in America's self-interest in America's interests and uh we don't have that sovereignty right uh and he said Israel pushed the United States into Iran war through bribery or threat or or both I think when he talked about fairness he also talked about the fact that Israel had committed genocide and we we we America funds it and [snorts] um and he compared Israel to the Nazis not directly but by implication. He he mentioned them in the same sentence. So it was very he's very clever in how he does this. I mean he he reads off of a script and it's very well written and he knows exactly what he's doing. So the attacks on Israel go through most of this, right? Uh so uh he he wants he wants to regain sovereignty so get rid of all this foreign influence and of course sovereignty is also it stop the immigration and and control the borders and uh and he said basically we should we should basically make um we should basically make immigration we should stop immigration. We don't need them. He says we don't need them. We don't need immigrants. So, we should stop all immigrants is basically his approach for now. For now. You know, maybe later we'll need them and maybe later we'll open up the border again, but for now we need to stop all immigration. And then he said, you know, one of the ways in which people are not sovereign over their own lives is that Americans have taken on a lot of debt. And he said debt is I mean you can't control your own life. You he basically said debt is a form of slavery. Debt is slavery. Then he goes into the whole thing about usery about about uh you know companies shouldn't be allowed to charge high interest rates or maybe any interest rates. I don't know. He does this by the way. He attacks us. He attacks finance. He attacks Wall Street. He attacks people taking on debt. And then he breaks for a a commercial break, right? Where he is uh pitching a sponsor and his the sponsor he was pitching was American financing. They give out mortgage loans but they care about you because it's about Americans. So they give you a good deal. So if you're going to take on debt, take on, you know, take on debt with American financing. So it it the ju just a position of him talking about how debt is slavery and how usery is evil and charging interest is bad and nobody should have a lot of debt and then encouraging his listeners to take on a mortgage uh backed by his sponsor American Finance. That was uh that was really really really funny. It was really funny. Right. Uh he endorsed the mortgage lender. We recommend American financing. He says, "They're called America's home for home loans for a reason." I mean, you can't make it up, right? You'd think that somebody on a show would think, "Okay, maybe today we don't run that ad." And and it's not an ad like, it's him saying it. It's it's it's it's obviously a pre-recorded thing where he comes on and he talks about American financing. And um it it's it's it's pretty funny. Pretty funny. It's a sovereignty. We need to get Americans out of debt. Take responsibility for your own life and stop going into debt, people. Debt is slavery. You cannot be free. You cannot make choices. You cannot make decisions for yourself when you're in debt. Three, we need three is productive. We need to be productive. America needs to build things and make things, right? and and and we need to stop outsourcing and we need to make everything at home. So, uh a kind of a what what is that called autocracy where where you you make everything at home. You don't you don't outsource anything. You don't trade internationally. Um so, uh you know, he says the problem with America is it's all about finance, real estate, speculation, surveillance systems, and weapons. That's the only things we can produce, right? We don't produce, we don't make anything. The the the standard conservative argument that we've heard from Trump, but the interesting thing was he really focused on on farming. Again, he knows his audience. Farming, it used to be a long time ago people took pride in farming and working on farms. Why? Why do we have foreign labor coming in to to pick out, you know, to work on farms? Americans should be working on farms. America should own the farms and and and farming. Farming, that's the big thing. Why? You know, he even criticized ethanol, which is good. He should criticize ethanol. I criticize ethanol. Ethanol is terrible that we produce so much ethanol. Instead, we should be, I don't know, growing fruits, vegetables, grains for eating. I don't know, you know, but farming. Farming, I mean, this is the kind of 1220, right? Going back in time, we were all farmers. We we used our our hands material production. That that's what's really valuable, right? And he and he talks about farming, manufacturing and craft craftsmanship. It used to be we used to make stuff in America and beautiful crafts and and you know, so again, it's very it's not exactly kind of the left, but it's there's a Marxist element, right? It's muscle, it's physical labor. That's the value, right? Why does he hate finance? Because it's all about the mind. and and he never mentions technology, programming, uh tech all about the mind. No, he wants he wants the nobility and the beauty as he would say in real inquisition marks from my perspective real productive activity. And what's real productive activity? Real productive activity is activity engaged with you know your your your hands. It's it's engaged with muscle craftsmanship manufacturing no robot no robots on the line only human beings on the line and farming and and he says yeah it's okay to bring efficiency increasing uh machines into farming but but only so you know in a sense only so much we still think that that farming itself there's something noble and good about farming itself. So, so more farming, that's what's going to save America. That's what's going to build America. That's what we need. We need a new political party that advocates for more farming. In the age of AI, in the age of AI, what we need is more farming, right? And and uh you know, he he he's super scared of AI. AI is uh is very dangerous and very bad. uh I can't remember under which one of these he came up with that but uh uh under one of these categories there was a you know yeah we need to get we need to really control AI our politician's job should be to to oh he said there were two things two evils in the world right now one was world war II and he said look Trump Trump is moving us towards world war II he literally uh threatened to annihilate the Iranian civilization and and Tucker Carlson's perspective is well that's he wants to use nukes and if you use nukes on Iran I mean how does that end and and ultimately we're going to get World War II so that's where we're heading so the danger of World War II we should really be panicking about World War II and AI those are the two things we should be really worried about really afraid of that is going to destroy the world four beautiful everything should be beautiful. I mean the problem is that in America we have destroyed beautiful buildings that were built in the past to build you know ugly modern building. He called it the uglified American cities. Uh you know and he and of course the way he thinks about it is brutalist architecture. Now brutalist architecture is really really bad and really really ugly but you know that's what we have in our cities. brutalist architecture, graffiti, public drug use, violent crime. These are all attacks on the public. And they're all attacks on a sense of aesthetic. And they're all attacks on beauty and cleanliness and, you know, organized. Our city should be organized and and clean and safe and and and beautiful. And and beautiful, of course, for him means old, right? It's a beautiful means building like we did a 100 years ago or a thousand years ago or 5 thou you know or or or maybe 2,000 years ago like in Rome uh not nothing modern modern would not I don't think constitute beautiful right so uh yeah old old style buildings u so he he wants beauty and be again beauty for him is old and he and he has a a segment there about the importance of beauty in our lives which is actually good. So again, he mixes things he says that actually yeah quite good and he he mixes them in with just he doesn't say he doesn't he's not always explicit in what he means. He doesn't tell you what beautiful is. He doesn't define beauty. He doesn't tell you what a beautiful city looks like other than it's old. [cough] He doesn't tell you what kind of architecture he prefers other that he implies with the examples he uses that it's old. So old is good, new is bad. I mean that's conservatism, right? That's a traditionbound mentality. It's a traditionbound mentality. So so far we have four. I mean I don't know if you guys are voting for this party yet. Fair, sovereign, productive, and beautiful. I mean yeah I agree with all four. different interpretation of of the four words. Fifth, healthy. It's really important that Americans be healthy and it's important that the government make sure that Americans are healthy and stop punishing and and people for being healthy and lying to people about it. I mean, basically, Tucker Carlson embraced Make America Healthy Again, Meha or embraced uh RFK Juniors. Again, this is where linking up with the left, you know, again, there's there's a certain unity there. Um, stop drinking, stop drinking drugs, but stop using drugs. The Xanax, aderall, the SSRIs, uh, all Americans are all half adult, right? So, we shouldn't be taking drugs. Now, he didn't mention it, but he was implying he shouldn't be taking your your your cholesterol lowering drugs and don't take those those blood pressure drugs and don't take don't take drugs. He basically said if I mean he he basically said if we can return to nature, nature is is is amazing and just return to nature and and return to the way to our own biology, you know, we we don't need we don't need modern medicine. you know, he says he implies that it's all the creation of the pharmaceutical industry just for profit. So, very much embraced a um a a a RFK Jr. uh hippies of the left type um approach to nature and to uh and to health and to being natural and I guess organic or whatever it is that the the the latest cool thing to be is healthy. Who can be against being healthy? Nobody. I mean, this is you see he's he's really good. He's he's put these 10 together. And if he lists just the words, nobody can be against them. Six, honest. There's another one. Who who doesn't want a politician to be honest? Who doesn't want a political party that stands for honesty? Right? Phony Tuck understood what that word meant. Honesty. He says, um, government officials should be punished for lying to citizens. God, imagine if that happened. [laughter] I mean, they'd all be in jail. They'd all be being whipped or whatever it is the punishment he wants for them. He had a good section on, I have to admit, he had a good section on too much in America's classified information, and I agree completely with that. Like my guess is that 90% of stuff that's classified should not be classified. I mean, let me remind you all and this is why I supported Snowden when he came out with what he did. Government is our servant. It is our agent. It reports to us. It shouldn't have secrets from us. Now, I get it. certain military operations, certain spying operations, people's lives are at stake and and you need to protect them. But my guess is anywhere from 80 to 90% of what the government keeps secret from us has nothing to do with any of that. Nothing to do with any of that. Nothing to do with national security. Why haven't they released completely the JFK assassination stuff? Now, I don't think there's a conspiracy there. But why is it taking them so long? Why don't they just release all the files related to JFK? It's what is it now? 65 years almost. I I don't think there's any national security issues there. And and for that matter, they should release all the 9/11 documents, everything. Let's see how the government really screwed up in a big big way. Now, Takas wants the 911 documents to be released cuz he's a 9/11 conspiracist, but yeah, there's way way too much way way too much stuff that's secret. You know, some stuff again relating to particular weapon systems, strategy, military strategy and and spies, but other than that, everything I mean everything else should be wide open. Wide they are our agents. They are they they they are our servants. They they should report to us. They should let us know what they know. So, um yeah, honest I'm I'm with him on honesty. I'm not sure I want government officials to be punished for lying. I mean, the punishment they should get is we vote them out. and and that's on us that we don't. So, he's running on a platform of we're going to be honest with you and we're going to release all the files and we're going to have very little that is uh that is classified. I I'm I'm for that. So, this is one I'm I'm I'm with. All right. Seven. Optimistic. Optimistic. We should we should be optimistic. We should be positive about the future. Now, I'm I'm with him on that. But here's the thing. He on on on the optimism section in his spiel in his talk, he spent 90% of it talking about children, having children, uh it being a biological imperative, a foundation for all long-term thinking, uh a a foundation, you know, for a society that having children was the most important thing in the world and everything revolved around having children and then blaming childless elites for policies that degrade the future because they don't care because they don't have any children in the future. U it just went on and on and on about child and and here's the thing about Taka and he does this constantly and again he lies right because he's smart. So this is not evasion because it's it's too explicit and it's not so it has to be a lie. So he says, you know, Americans are not having enough kids. Uh the population u of of natives is shrinking because they're not enough kids. They're not enough children. And then he says, you know, you go to other countries and they have lots of kids everywhere you go and and and people have children. And why why is America behind on this? >> [snorts] >> I don't know if you've seen the fertility rates across the world. The United States is actually doing really well in compared to most other countries. Who is he talking about? Who are these countries that having lost their kids? A, you know, Nigeria, Congo, certainly not South Korea or Japan or China or really any place in Asia, even India. is I think now below rep below replacement. So where are the countries? Europe. Oh, it's Europe. Must be Europe because they're white kids. So you would associate with that. But Europe is having fewer kids than Americans have. I mean by a lot, particularly Catholic countries like Spain and Italy. Uh but across the board, Europeans are and nowhere near a placement. Some of them are below one or close to one. which is you know population of Italy is shrinking significantly. So who is he? He always puts America down like he when he talked about cleanliness and order. Other cities are clean and order and he said something like and you don't need fascism to be clean and order, right? I'm not talking about fascism. Don't call me a fascist because I want cleanliness and orderness. And then he says other countries have that. rich countries, but he's always putting down America. And so, so where where are all these children? Maybe he meant Russia, you know, because he really likes Russia and he's been to Russia and he and he and he went to the he went to the grocery store in Russia, so he knows. And he's been to the subway station in Russia, the one subway station. It's really beautiful. And he and he went to the grocery store and he saw cheap things are there. But Russia is like one of the worst countries in the world in terms of fertility. So he that has to be a lie because that's not a mystery. That's not hidden. Everybody knows that that the United States actually actually is doing you know it is rel by what standard but it has high relatively high fertility rates compared to the rest of the world. I know this is taking a long time but I want to I want to delve into this. If TA is forming a new political party, this is big news and it's important that that we that I dismantle as much of it as possible and you know and and that we that we are part of the fight against whatever it is that he is planning because whatever it is that he is planning is not good. So a little bit more time on this. The other stories are faster. There's less to talk about. Eight is wise. Yes, a new political party needs to be wise. And uh here it was very confusing what he means by wise, right? He said the school should teach how the physical world actually works. H isn't that what we call science? And isn't that what they at least to some extent they do? and he said what he called unchanging facts about human nature. Oo, now you got to worry. What does he mean about that? Well, he means a lot of different things. Um, our genes and and and and how we're segregated by genes, but he also means for example, and he said this, innate differences between men and women. So, this is his anti-trans part, right? And he said, "No credentials, no, you know, no technological fans, no screens in school, no no iPads, no no computers. We we need to be we need to go back to to real education, whatever the hell that is. And and what is he arguing it should be? And how should it be conducted? Does he have a theory of education? Does he has any view on it?" Uh it was all just a kind of a anti- authority yet we have to we have to teach how the physical world actually works. How do we do that without experts without scientists without engineers without people who actually know how the world real real world works and smuggled into is not just the issue of gender but I think the issue also of of maybe differences in races and other things like that. That's a lot smuggled into the idea of the unchanging facts about human nature which you know yeah I mean people get scratched by demons that's part of this how the world actually works is that what he means maybe doesn't mean science maybe that's just me being benevolent nine decent we should be decent Right. And look, oh, this is this is actually where he he went off on Israel. We need to be decent. We need to be nice and friendly and polite and and we should commit war crimes and we should apologize when we do and maybe even pay restitution when we do and and and and we should you know I mean he criticized Trump again which is good uh for calling the department the defense department the department of war. He said we're not a wararmongering country. We only use force in defense. Absolutely good for Tucker Carlson for recognizing that. So again, he mixes up good statements with awful statements with really bad stuff. And then he went on and on about funding Israel and about genocide and about Nazis and about Yeah, I mean really really bad stuff. Uh and um this is going to be a big Israel is going to be a big part of their platform. Uh so um we need we need to bring back just decency. We need to just be decent human beings and we need to stop being thugs and uh and and ugly people, bad people. All right. Finally, number 10. We need to be united. We need to be united. And here he really went after immigration. We we need to stop immigration because we can't be united with around immigration. And we need to we need to figure out what AI is going to do and what jobs are going to exist. Uh and we need to end benefits to illegal immigrants. I don't think they get that many benefits. And we need to make English the sole language of federal documents and ballots. I'm fine with that. But yeah, we need to stop immigration because they they they they obstruct our ability to be have unity, right? Well, supposed to look the same and think the same and talk the same and have the same language to have unity. I think that's what he thinks. So, um, don't no more immigrants and, uh, AI is scary and we don't want immigrants until we figured out AI. But by the time we figure out AI, there'll be more stuff we haven't figured out. I mean, hopefully AI is a evolving, innovative, growing technology that constantly is growing and changing. We'll never figure out AI by the standard. It'll always pose a threat sometime in the future. [sighs] Anyway, uh I mean Tuck has basically become a like a an intellectual center point, a a center of gravity for uh the the the crazy MAGA people again like like Marjorie Taylor Green and Thomas Massie and Joe Kent, particularly if they hate Israel and and and are frustrated by Trump and made a big deal out of Jeffrey Epstein, which is Marjorie Taylor Green and and Thomas Massie. certainly did. Uh they these are the mega people who say Trump has abandoned America first. Uh that the war in Iran is is immoral and wrong and and and uh just toing to Israel. U that the Epstein files were mishandled and there's a big story there that nobody's already nobody's yet figured out what it is exactly. And yeah, Israel, Israel, Israel. them and then anti- finance, anti- capitalism, anti-free markets, kind of a a national economic policy agenda that is very authoritarian. That is Tucker's new political party. Uh at least it seems like that is what he's launching. Whether he runs for president or not, u it is really really hard to tell. But uh it does seem like that's how he's positioning himself. He's positioning himself to run for president. I mean, he might run in the Republican party. He might run in this third party. If he's going to do a third party, the reality is election in 2028. You have to organize now. Now is the time to organize. You have to register in states. You have to raise a lot of money. But here's the thing about Tucker. He has millions of followers. Millions of followers. I think his message resonates with a lot of Americans. As I said, he mixes up stuff that Americans can really get excited like like farming and, you know, the the patriotism associated with owning land and farming. You know, a resentment of Israel, which is pretty widespread right now. And um it kind of uh stop outsourcing to China, bring jobs back. uh you know, treat America workers well a and um and we want to make our cities beautiful again and we want to get rid of crime and we want to close the border. I mean those are things that I think today sadly a majority of Americans believe in Tucker doesn't come across as a nut. He's a like Trump. He's a bigger nutcase in my view and much more dangerous. He comes across as a reasonable, smart, sharp person. Not everybody has the same response as uh to his demon story as we do. He's very religious. Right. All right. So, we'll keep watching Tucker Carlson and his political ambitions.
