Video summary
In this candid video, a couple engages in a deep dive into their relationship by answering a series of profound questions generated by AI, aiming to identify areas for improvement and strengthen their bond. They begin by addressing personal vulnerabilities, such as secrets they have never shared due to fear of judgment, which quickly leads to lighthearted banter about shampoo usage before shifting to more serious topics. The conversation highlights the importance of quality time, with one partner emphasizing a desire for deeper bonding experiences rather than just physical presence, while also discussing their differing sleep schedules and the challenges of maintaining connection in a busy life. They reflect on past memories, specifically choosing their first day in Jamaica as a pivotal moment they wish to relive, noting that the relationship was at its peak during that time when they felt perfectly aligned and ready for major life steps like starting a family.
The dialogue then explores emotional dynamics, including how each partner feels most loved and disconnected. One spouse explains that feeling loved occurs when the other provides acts of service during stressful times, while disconnection arises from being ignored on their phone or when support is withheld during struggles. They also tackle misunderstandings regarding emotional expression, revealing that one partner often absorbs negative energy and mistakes sadness for anger due to childhood trauma, a nuance the other acknowledges but notes is difficult to interpret through tone of voice. Furthermore, they discuss future fears, such as one partner worrying the other might become overly ambitious or change drastically with wealth, a concern the other dismisses by promising loyalty regardless of financial status, while also admitting a fear that the relationship could end simply from growing tired of each other's quirks.
Finally, they reflect on how they have positively transformed one another over the years. The couple credits each other for grounding them in reality versus fantasy, helping manage finances and diet, and fostering greater patience and appreciation for life's small moments. They agree that their goal for a hypothetical fifty-year anniversary is to have built a healthy marriage based on genuine love rather than mere convenience, alongside creating generational wealth to secure a future for their children. The video concludes with them reaffirming their commitment to working hard together while enjoying the present, joking about booking a trip to Jamaica and trying for another baby, ultimately expressing confidence that their unique dynamic as opposites who click so well will sustain them through whatever challenges lie ahead.

What's going on guys?
>> Welcome back to another video.
>> So we haven't done one of these in a
long time. The last time we did it you
guys actually really really enjoyed it.
So we are going to be doing I think this
is a part three, right? We lost track
but either way you guys love it so we're
going to be doing it. We're going to be
answering very very deep questions. You
have what? Like 10 of them?
>> Yeah, I don't even know what these
questions are so
>> This is going to be good. This is going
to be good. I didn't read all of them.
I'm not going to lie. I did read like
the first like two to three but again
chat GPT really be carrying because
that's where I got these questions.
>> [laughter]
>> Chat GPT can do everything.
>> So am I asking you these questions or
are we going back and forth answering
both?
>> Yeah, just read them out loud and then
we'll answer them and we'll just keep it
moving.
>> Okay, so the first question is what's
something you've never told me because
you were afraid of how I'd react?
>> Something I never told you. I feel like
you know everything about me. That's
that's the crazy part. I'm dead serious.
Like
You're saying that like you know
something. What do you know that I
don't?
>> I don't know but it says something
you've never told me because you were
afraid of how I act.
>> I've told you everything. Like I'm not
afraid for you to like judge me or
anything cuz I know you won't. You know
what I mean? Like I I I've told you
everything. If something comes to mind,
you know, later in this video then I'll
I'll I'll tell you but I really don't
have anything that I've been scared to
tell you.
>> So you haven't been using my shampoo?
>> No.
I used the Head and Shoulders one and
you know that.
And I thought that was for us. I thought
that wasn't yours.
>> The what?
>> The Head and Shoulders shampoo.
>> No, it I got that for you.
>> All right, so then it's mine. You've
been using mine and you never told me.
>> What do you mean? You know I use it.
>> Oh yeah.
>> Question number two.
>> didn't answer yours.
>> I don't really have what's something
you've never told me because you were
afraid of how I'd act. I could tell you
a time that I did tell you something.
>> Let's hear it.
>> When I told you that I used to uh
>> Oh my no, we're not going to bring that
brings it back to like literally high
school. That brings it back to like
2016. We're not going to go down that
road.
>> just mad at me because I was sleeping.
>> Well, because yo you lied to my face,
yo. Like that was
>> I never said I didn't. I just never said
that the situation, like I went and did
it. I didn't think you would have really
cared that much, honestly.
>> If I You know what? We're not going to
go down that. The next next question.
Next question.
>> If our relationship could improve in
just one area over the next year, what
would you want that area to be and why?
>> More More quality time.
>> Really?
>> More quality time. And that doesn't
necessarily mean like more like going
out or anything like that. Just more
time just
us like bonding, doing things like we
both enjoy.
>> Okay.
>> Not that we don't already do that, but
like I would like more of it. What about
you?
>> Honestly, I thought you were going to
say something else about me.
I thought you were going to say
something about I thought you were going
to say like you need to work on waking
up earlier.
>> Bro, I don't have to say that. Besides,
I mean, I feel like you've been pretty
good like getting up. You've been
getting up at a decent time.
>> Really?
>> Yeah, before you used to get up at like
12:00, 1:00 and I used to be like, bro,
like we have things to
>> No, I feel like I would get up like at
11:00.
>> Now
Now you're getting up around like 10:30,
11:00. Which I'm cool with. I'm fine.
>> Yeah.
>> Cuz then you're you're ready downstairs
by like 12:00 noon. I feel like that's
>> to be like, girl, that's so late. But I
go to sleep like at 3:00 a.m., okay?
>> No, literally, she'll send me TikToks at
like 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 in the morning.
>> awake at 3:00 a.m. I can't help it.
>> I'll literally check my phone in the
morning and I'll be like, why did she
text me at like 3:00 a.m.?
>> I really think I have undiagnosed ADHD,
for real.
>> Bro, you got something cuz go to sleep.
>> [laughter]
>> What's wrong with you?
>> Okay. Yeah, I will say that, too, like I
want to I want to take more trips with
you. Like I feel like we don't like go
on dates like that.
>> Okay. All right.
>> Like like a like a staycation, like go
for a weekend to like a resort in
Florida or something, like
>> Okay. So, I feel like that goes with
like
more quality time.
>> Mhm. When do you feel the most loved by
me and when do you feel the most
disconnected?
>> When you're probably being like super
like clingy.
And normally I would not like clingy cuz
all my like exes would be clingy and
I'll be like, "Yo, you're so freaking
annoying. Get away from me."
>> I remember that though. You told me that
you hated clingy women. I was like,
"Good thing I'm not. I like doing my own
thing."
>> The thing is there's like there's a good
clingy and then there's a bad clingy.
There's a clingy where it's like I need
to know where you are 24/7, constantly
hitting me up, like literally like up my
like leave me alone. I need like time to
breathe. I don't want you up my every
single day, every hour, every second.
>> When do you feel the most disconnected
then?
>> The most disconnected, I would say
probably
when you're like locked in on your phone
for like whatever reason. It could be a
good reason or a bad reason, whatever.
It's just I don't know.
Like I'm it's just a thing in general
with people. Like if I'm talking to you
and you're on your phone and you're not
paying attention, like that irks me. But
that goes with everyone. It's just not
you.
>> Yeah, but I feel like I rarely do that.
>> No, you rarely. You rarely ever do it.
But there's just a way I feel
disconnected.
>> yeah.
>> Like I said, it's it's not it's rare,
but
>> I feel like when I feel most loved by
you is when I'm stressed out and stuff
and you be like helping me around the
house or
>> I knew you were going to say that. I was
going to be like, "Bro, all I got to do
is wash the dishes." Like
>> I'll be like, "He really does love me."
>> god, acts of service.
>> Mhm. And then when I feel most
disconnected is when the same thing when
I'm struggling and like he doesn't help
me and I'm like, "Oh, okay. So you hate
me."
>> But the thing is when you are struggling
sometimes I'll ask you like is there
anything I can do to help you? You'll be
like, "No. No. No."
>> Cuz if I say no then I'm not struggling
unless I'm mad at you.
>> Okay.
>> Okay, what's a dream you've quietly
given up on that you still think about
sometimes? Oh, I know.
>> Baseball player.
Easy, simple.
>> What about mine? You should guess mine.
>> Yours is going to be singing.
>> No, I haven't given up on that.
>> Acting.
>> I haven't given up on any of them.
>> Then it's definitely going to be this
one. Tattoo artist.
It's the tat all right. That makes sense
cuz that's the most recent one.
>> Yeah. I just feel I never even gave
myself a chance with that one.
>> I still tell you you should.
>> I don't know. It's like a lot of work
and I just don't think I really got that
in me.
>> Guys, I even offered to buy her all the
tattoo stuff at one point and she still
just did not want to do it.
>> Don't get me wrong. I could see myself
doing tattoos and stuff, but I just feel
like it's a lot of physical labor and I
feel like my body these days gets really
physically tired.
Um
>> Damn, grandma.
>> You know that though.
>> Damn, grandma, auntie. That's crazy.
>> Shut up. Like I I my joints and
everything hurt a lot, all the time.
>> Yeah, you're making this grandma. I'm
going to drag it now.
>> Shut up.
So yeah, that's why I feel like I don't
know if I'd be able to do that.
>> That's that grandma, auntie body.
>> Shut up. If we could relive one day of
our relationship exactly as it had been,
which day would you choose and why?
>> Oh my god, probably like the second or
first day we got to Jamaica.
>> I WAS GOING TO SAY THE SAME THING.
>> [laughter]
>> OH MY GOD, Jamaica was so Guys, we You
know how many times we bring up Jamaica?
That Jamaica trip was just so freaking
fun.
>> Ain't nothing compared to the first day
we got to Jamaica. I will never forget
it. That was the best feeling I've ever
felt in my life, in my life.
>> Yo, I'm not going to lie. We should have
probably tried to get pregnant at that
point. I feel like it would have
happened cuz everything was just
perfect.
Everything was great.
>> That would have been a time getting
pregnant. And everybody was telling us
to get pregnant too, remember?
>> Life was great during that time.
>> Oh yeah, it was.
>> It was like peak, like prime.
>> I never wanted that to go away. I never
thought that it would, honestly, but
man,
we need to get back to that.
>> That was good time. All right, Jamaica
trip loading up.
>> Right, we need that for our soul.
>> For sure.
>> What's something you think I
misunderstand about you that you've
always wanted me to understand?
>> That whenever I'm like upset or just
stressed out, I feel like you tend to
think a lot of it falls on you and I
always tell you it has nothing to do
with you. Just like let me be in my
feelings. I'm mad, I'm angry for, you
know, whatever reason it is at that
time.
It just It has nothing to do with you.
And I try to like always reassure you
that it's it's nothing with you. Like if
I'm stressed out just just let me be.
>> Can I be honest though?
>> What?
>> I feel like a part of that is just
childhood trauma. Just kind of like
putting myself out there a little bit,
but
>> know why you do it.
>> Yeah, I just feel like whenever anyone's
upset around me, I absorb that energy
and I just feel like I need to fix it.
>> it has nothing to do with you.
>> Yeah, I know.
I think also for me, I sound angry and
I'm not angry. I'm just hurt.
And I feel like you always think, oh
like I have an attitude. It's like I
don't have an attitude. I'm just like
sad.
And I feel like you take that as like
anger and like aggressiveness and it's
not that. I'm just like sad.
>> It's just like it's it's with everything
in life. It's the way you say it. It's
not what you say, it's the way you say
it. So, it's like if you say it with
kind of like a tone, it's like all
right, like what's with that attitude
for? You know what I mean? And that's
just I've been I've always been told
that since a little kid. It's not what
you say, it's how you say it.
>> that's something [music] I have to work
on.
>> [laughter]
>> I could take accountability. I'm a grown
woman. Okay.
>> Grandma.
>> Shut up. You start reading the rest.
You read the rest cuz
I don't want to read no more.
>> If we met today for the first time, do
you think we'd still fall in love? Why
or why not?
>> Yeah.
>> Why?
>> Cuz I just feel like our personalities
are just so like we mesh together so
well.
>> You flirting with me?
Trying to crack.
>> [laughter]
[gasps]
>> No, I would say the same thing. Like
yeah, like we just like
that we just we vibe well. You know what
I mean? Like even though like we're like
complete opposites, like I'm a very like
>> True.
>> business serious type of person and
she's more like on the other side of the
spectrum like goofiness like so serious.
>> For yeah, for some reason we just like
we click really well.
>> Opposites attract, I guess.
>> No, literally. I feel like we're the
definition of that's like proof. What's
one fear you have about our future that
you've never fully shared with me?
>> I think that because I know your goals,
I don't want you to go all Wolf of Wall
Street on me.
>> [snorts]
>> Honestly, that's one of my fears.
>> [laughter and gasps]
>> Bro, I'm not That's It's not going to
happen. I promise you. It's not That's
not possible.
>> Yeah, but I don't know if I don't know
if they're going to understand that.
>> Bro, I already walk around like I'm the
Wolf of Wall Street. That's the thing.
>> No. No. No, you don't because the way he
acts like he just got money and then
left his girl that like helped bring him
up.
>> You know my Leonardo DiCaprio?
>> Mhm.
>> Um I get That
That's the thing though. Like I've been
broke with you and I've had a crazy
amount of money with you and I was the
same person every single time.
>> I get it, but that's still a fear.
That's just sometimes what's scary.
>> Don't fear it because it's not
happening. I I can't find another
grandma like you. You know what I mean?
Like
>> You're not funny calling me grandma.
>> I don't know what to
I don't know I would say that you get
tired of my shenanigans and then you
just end up leaving me.
>> What shenanigans?
>> I don't know. Like you just get tired of
me in general. Just like overall.
>> Nah, that's not going to happen.
>> You say that, but how do you know?
>> Cuz I know. Cuz I'm not the type of
person to quit on someone. Unless you
like do something I already told you
unless you do something crazy.
>> Like do crack?
>> Yeah, I would. Yo, [laughter]
I ain't going to be with no damn
crackhead.
Like no. I don't play like that.
>> Doing crack is crazy.
>> I will smack some sense into you.
>> No, that's valid. That's valid. In what
ways have I changed you for better or
worse?
>> You helped me see things for what it is
instead of
La La Land. I don't know how to explain
it. Just like
>> Just fantasy. Everything's like dream
like dreamland. It's like No, this is
real life.
>> Yeah, and like
>> Everything's Everything not sweet.
>> You showed me what reality looks like.
Even though I still, you know, believe
that God can make things happen.
>> Of course.
>> I'm super I think more realistic now
than I was before we met.
>> The thing is you can always ask God for
everything and you can beg and pray and
whatever it is that you want to call it,
but the thing is you have to do that and
pray and you have to work at the same
time. You got to work as you're
you know, praying to God. You know what
I mean? He's not just going to do
everything for you like that. You got to
you got to show him, too, you know?
[music]
I hope that makes sense. I don't want to
go into a whole religion.
>> Yeah, right.
>> But, you know, you got to work towards
it, too. Everything is not just like,
"Oh God, do this for me." cuz
you're just begging at that point.
>> Mhm.
>> Um I would say for me, you definitely
changed my life in way too many ways
that I can count on.
>> I don't know if that's good or bad.
>> [laughter]
>> No, no, no, they're good. Like, I'm not
going to lie, you helped me with like
finances because you know, I used to
I used to spend so much money. It's It
was ridiculous.
Um you helped me with that. I've been a
lot more patient ever since I met you.
Um
more so patient [music] with you than
anybody else because I don't have
patience for stupid people. I'm not
going to lie. Like, I really don't. They
But whatever. With her, like, I have the
most patience in the world now.
Um and honestly, I feel like you've
changed me in a better way for like
enjoying like the little things in life.
You know what I mean? Like
>> struggle with that a little?
>> I It's a work in progress, okay? Because
again, there's like there's goals I want
to work towards and stuff like that and
I'm not going to stop until I reach
those goals. And once I reach those
goals, then I'll be like, "Okay, I can
chill a little bit." But in the moment,
I'm trying to teach myself like slow
down and enjoy like the little things.
So, yeah, you definitely helped me with
that because
um before I was like
>> I thought you were going to mention your
diet, not going to lie.
>> Oh, not the diet? I That might be number
one.
>> [laughter]
>> I drink sugar-free stuff and diet sodas
now, bro. Like, this is actually crazy.
>> When I met Isaiah, I used to be like,
"How are you so skinny? Like, what the
heck?"
>> I used to Well, it was because when we
first met, I was in high school, so But
you know, I did get bigger and now I'm
getting smaller again.
>> Mhm.
>> But
yeah, you definitely helped me with my
diet. I can't even lie. Uh this is the
last question. Imagine we're celebrating
our 50th wedding anniversary. Damn,
granny. Uh
what do you hope we'll be able to say we
accomplished together as a couple?
I'm going to answer this one first. A
healthy marriage.
>> Okay.
>> I'm going to leave it short and simple
like that. If we were together for 50
years, married,
I'm most proud to say that we were a
healthy marriage, a good marriage. Cuz
people stay together just to stay
together, and I feel like that ain't
good. You didn't really accomplish
anything, really, did you?
>> Mhm.
Yeah, I I would say
as a couple, also,
to not steal your answer, I guess, I
would say also generational wealth.
>> That was my second thing. That's what I
was also going to say.
>> Yeah.
>> Like setting up our kids, kids, kids,
you know, for life and stuff like that.
Which that's the goals that I'm talking
about that I like I'm not stopping until
I get there. And then she tells me like,
"Yo, slow down."
So.
>> Yeah. What was that What's that saying?
"Rome wasn't built in a day" or
something?
>> wasn't built in a day." That's empire.
But yeah, that's uh
Those were deep.
>> Yeah, that was good, huh?
>> Those were really deep. Let us know what
you guys think about those questions.
Drop them down below your opinions and
all that stuff. Uh if you guys enjoyed
the video, make sure you guys smash that
thumbs up button. Anything else you want
to say?
All right, so now we're going to go book
a trip to Jamaica, and I'm
>> Don't play with me, cuz
>> to get her pregnant, and then you know,
we're going to live happily ever after.
>> [laughter]
>> Me and grandma, we going to be living
good. See you guys in the next one.
