Well, the Wave Young Professionals Network is a professional development program for individuals between the ages of 18 and 39. It recently hosted a pickleball tournament event in Cross Lake blending leadership, connection, and a little competition. The pickleball event is one of the many ways the Wave organization tries to connect each month. The activities and networking events in the community are set up to help bond the group and accomplish the organization's goal of building lasting relationships and elevating each other's skills while advancing their careers. >> An event like this helps us all get together not only professionally to talk about leadership and teamwork, but then also to have a little fun cuz we are young. And I think that by us doing this, it shows everybody in the community that it's okay to go out there and maybe be like play playing pickleball out of your comfort zone.
