Video summary

In this episode of Jaspy's "Under Wraps," host Jason opens two dual cases containing eight autographed soccer balls from Volume 1, specifically Pick Your Player number three. The video begins with a lighthearted moment as the team realizes they have run out of paper for their tracking sheets, but quickly moves on to reveal the contents of the first box. Inside, they uncover several notable players including Goncalo Ramos and Enzo Fernández, both signed on World Cup balls, alongside a Nike Pitch Team ball featuring Ramos. The opening process is filled with excitement as Jason identifies signatures like those of Guti Hernández and eventually reveals Robert Lewandowski, who was noted as one of the most recent high-value picks available in the market. As the unboxing continues into the second case, the atmosphere shifts slightly when the team discovers that they have pulled duplicate players, specifically Goncalo Ramos again, which is described as an unfortunate occurrence similar to finding duplicates in candy collections. Despite the repetition, other significant names emerge, including Radamel Falcao, who was previously won in a giveaway, and Antoine Griezmann on a Euro 2020 match-used ball. The host also identifies Xabi Alonso and mentions players like Paul Pogba and Matuidi, jokingly blaming a colleague named Joe for the case selection that led to these specific pulls. The segment highlights the thrill of the unknown, as the team never knows exactly which players are inside until they open each box, leading to a mix of rare finds and common duplicates. Throughout the video, Jason discusses the condition of the balls, noting some were sealed poorly with excessive glue while others were pristine. He also shares trivia about the players, such as Lewandowski's career history with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Dortmund, and mentions that some signatures belong to players currently in MLS or those who sat out recent games. The host reflects on the value of these items, pointing out that sometimes cheaper picks yield great results, while other times, like with Messi, the market is flooded with similar items. He concludes by suggesting a fun alternative format for future videos where viewers could participate in a "draft" style selection process, allowing them to choose or pass on balls for a lower price point, potentially making the experience more interactive and exciting for the community.

All right, let me grab the next ball here. Sit that Holland right there, huh? Oh. >> Oh, I know this guy. Ooh, World Cup ball, too. It's pretty sick. I'm not sure if anybody recognizes the signature, but it is a FIFA World Cup ball. It's pretty awesome. Yes. Adam actually recognizes it. All right, so yes, that's Enzo. Enzo. Adam, how you doing, man? I touch a really nice soccer ball, though. All right, let's go Enzo for Adam. Um I will write it out after, once I switch them. This is a little fun. >> Do you like uh do you um Do you guys want them back in the boxes? No, right? >> They're both tied like that. >> I haven't done that one yet. >> No, but they both say Panini Black Gold. >> Yeah, they probably both say it. No, I know, but that's a joke. I mean, I All right. Yeah, we had Enzo Fernández and then uh Gonzalo Ramos was the first two. Counter D. Whoever did that. Yeah, they did it with the helmet and not soccer balls. So, they were putting too much glue. So, for the people that love those boxes as a display, it's like this. >> I mean, it's at the bottom. >> Yeah. All right, here we go. I'm going to organize this soccer ball. Oh, there it is. This one knows this one. It's an Adidas soccer ball. It is uh Guti Hernández. That sounds like a player that was probably like nine bucks. >> Yeah, there it is. Brian with another $9 ball. Sometimes it pays to get some of those cheaper players. All right, I feel like this last ball in this case should be pretty good, right? Is Brian a bot? Right. I mean, to my knowledge he's not. Yeah, this should be a good one, right? All right, so Brian What's it going back there? >> It's good. We're going to get caught up today. >> It's good. All right, so ET >> We're going to have more reps. >> Yeah. All right, here we go. Last one of the first case. I know, did you guys see that Holland cut his hair and then in his first game back he didn't score? >> Yeah. Why? >> It's like the first time he didn't score in his opening match. What's so funny the interview? It was locked on. Who's my number? All right, this was actually one of the players that didn't sit today, but sat yesterday. >> He already sat. >> Didn't sit today, but sat yesterday. Yeah, he did. Which is why we say they sit, they hit, honestly. >> One of the World Cup balls? >> Yeah, these are one of the World Cup balls. I would have never recognized the signature if it was like that. Did anybody recognize that? It was another World Cup ball, too. I actually know, this is not a World Cup ball, this one's >> It is. >> It's from the training. Oh, yeah, it is. Yeah, it is. You going to go with Martinez? No. I should do who am I with this guy. Let's see if you guys can get it right away. >> Who is he? I think I know. >> You're not. I don't think you are. >> What country? >> Uh he's Polish. >> Well, then you shouldn't be looking at the answer. >> Well, you're not supposed to be looking. All right, he's Polish. Who is it? That should give it away already for you soccer fans. No, not even that? He's a Polish soccer player. 38 years old. He is now on the Chicago Fire. But was with Barca from '22 to '26. Then was with Bayern pretty much most of his career from 2014 to 2022. And then was in Dortmund in 2010. 2014. Yes. Robert Lewandowski. Again, I would have recognized I would have never recognized the signature, but But yes, Robert Lewandowski was bought like last night, I think. We were about to be in a serial number with him, but then And there you go. Yeah, ZJ, right? I think you bought him yesterday, yeah. Oh, definitely one of the last like six or seven players though, for sure. >> All right, well that's just one case, guys. Don't worry, we have another one. It's two cases, remember that. Just one. This was just the first one. I'm just writing this one down. Z J Also, I don't know who picked these cases, but we're going to blame that person. Might have been Joe. I see his writing. I'll blame him. Uh this one wasn't the craziest. I mean, some cool names, but nothing crazy. But Lewandowski was the most recent one. We had Enzo Fernandez. Uh we also had uh this uh solid dude. Solid Hernandez. All right. Let's open up the next case. And once again, I'm going to put the other four that I have right here. And again, empty case. All right. Wow. No freaking way. We hit the same dude again, guys. I'm sorry. I'm just not even going to tell you. I'm not even going to just like It's the same ball. That is no bueno. Yep. What a $9 pick up right there. Brian Windell's just eating, bro. He's got three soccer balls for 18 bucks. Well, hopefully it's not the same four players, guys. I'm sorry, but >> So yeah, that was Goncalo Ramos, guys. Yeah, I mean, it's going to be like all the other ones. I mean, there's going to be dupes, unfortunately. I mean, but just hopefully they're not all exactly the same same. Kind of like the way M and M was. Remember when when you see like a specific player, you already knew what was coming out. So, I don't know. We'll see. It's the way it goes sometimes, guys. We don't know what's in these cases. If that was the case, obviously, we wouldn't grab these two or something like that, you know? Yeah, I hope we get an art now, for sure. Like, now I'm hoping like a crazy one. Oh, stop it. It's another player with Nike on, but I don't know this player, though. This guy took his time with the signature, though. Team Nike? Nobody? I want to say I think I gave away this player. Optimus Prime. Yeah, I think I gave them away yesterday. Radamel Uh Radamel Yeah, Kells. Kells actually won him yesterday in a giveaway. Rough, guys. Rough. I'm going to blame Joe for sure though, dude. I know he picked these cases, dude. Like honestly. >> Anything good yet? >> No, just complete ass. >> Priority Paul Pogba twice. >> Twice? >> Yeah. >> Stop. >> That's what I do with Matuidi. I'll show you what I mean. >> We like that one. >> Uh Kells Not good enough, Jackson. >> I pulled R9 and Pogba so >> Yeah, I know that was like >> Hopefully he was proud of you guys here. >> TXT always keeping track. >> Yeah, at least it's not my Matuidi's. Yeah. Gromo, you got two of them, bro. >> All right. >> Dos mas. >> Yeah, hopefully it'll be great for you guys. >> I'm just going to blame Joe cuz I'm sure we're going to get take these ones. >> Touch the box if the balls are fire. >> Balls. I'll give you some ball We got to get some good balls out of Adam, you got some balls last time. Did you get any balls this time? Messi Yeah, it's called Messi. I hate that they do that. >> Yeah, they did it with that uh uh >> Yeah, comments. That's right. are allowed. Another player that might have just been sitting yesterday actually. It's cool. National ball? Oh, looks like a national ball. But that's sick. The national ball's a rare ones I think. Josh Allen Trout. Actually kind of does look a little bit like Trout. It's 27. Ivan Drago Crazy pull. That's going to go to Adam. Xabi Xabi Alonso Sick pull. See Adam, I gave you good luck. You were close. That was almost close. Shoot, I was hoping for Cucurella. Can I get a Prince swing real quick? Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead. I'm nervous. All right. Last one here, guys. >> If he dies, he dies. >> Ivan Drago. >> I love that movie. That's my favorite Rocky movie. >> All right, last one here, guys. Good luck. >> Who is that? >> This is a cool soccer ball. >> Got it. >> Ooh, Euros. >> Euros 2020. >> Match used. >> No, I don't think so. >> Ooh, it's a cool guy. >> Antoine >> Plays in the MLS now. >> Yeah, he's He was in the hobby, I think, a few years ago. He was ripping a lot. >> He is. And he still rips. >> That's actually a really cool ball. Yeah, there you go, Adam. >> Really cool soccer ball. >> Nice. >> I think it's over. >> Match. >> Yep, Griezmann. >> Antoine Griezmann. >> Uh who had this? >> Lewandowski. >> Or Griezmann. >> Oh, no, yeah, it's Chelsea. Adam, there you go. >> Adam, you got some balls, dude. Look at you. >> All right, well. There you go, guys. Um I don't know if anybody's going to want to do this again. So, I'll see if the boss wants to repost it or we can reconfigure it of way. You know what would be sick though? We should do a like duck duck hit draft of these soccer balls. So, everybody's basically buying the soccer ball for a $4.99. But, it's like kind of like a draft where the first person that's at the top gets to choose if they want it or they're going to pass it down. And then the next person decides, do they want the soccer ball or do they want it? And then if it goes all the way down to number four, then it's over. That person's going to get that soccer ball. And we open up the next box. If a freaking Messi pops up, the top choice gets to go to the person at the top. That actually would be fun. I feel like these would be better like that. Kind of more like a hit draft. But anyway, guys, thank you. Like I said, these are the soccer balls. Uh PYP number three.
