W. 8/12/26 *FL* - 2026 Topps Pristine Baseball Hobby 6-Box Case Break *PYT* #1
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
Jason hosts a live break of the 2026 Topps Pristine Baseball Hobby six-box case for PYT Number One, successfully selling out to his audience before diving into the opening boxes. He explains that this year's product has been reconfigured compared to previous years; specifically, all encased cards are now autographs rather than uncirculated items, with only three types of case cards available alongside SSPs and short-print cases. Each box contains two packs featuring a mix of numbered serial hits and non-numbered base inserts, which Jason notes appear frequently enough that they do not feel like excessive fluff but serve as consistent inclusions for viewers who prefer them over the premium autographs.
As the break progresses through multiple boxes, several notable cards are revealed to be distributed among the participants. Highlights include a Murakami redemption card numbered 12 out of 25 for the White Sox and an Adrien Beltré spotless signature limited to just three copies out of five. Other significant pulls feature Jacob Misarowski with a high-numbered print, Roman Anthony at number 99 out of 150, and Ronald Acuña Jr.'s autograph from a set of only 75. The host also identifies various other short-print items such as Logan Webb for the Giants, Hunter Barco for the Pirates, and multiple cards featuring players like Bryce Harper, Jose Altuve, and Jack Kago, ensuring that teams with fewer numbered hits receive them to balance out the distribution.
Throughout the process, Jason addresses common concerns regarding product quality and break efficiency, noting that while some packs are sealed poorly causing delays in opening times, the new configuration makes for a cleaner experience overall. He emphasizes that despite hitting major rookie cards like Murakami early on, there is still plenty of value remaining in cases with solid Hall of Famers and active veterans to be found later. The break concludes with a final recap where he lists all the serial number hits secured from the case, including rare finds like Luke Quesada for the Twins and C Luna, while confirming that any non-numbered autographs will be randomized into lots alongside base inserts to ensure fair distribution among everyone who participated in the event.

What is up everybody? Jason here with
Jasp. We just sold out a Tops pristine
baseball hobby six box case break PY
number one. Guys, big thanks to
everybody here that bought in. Now
again, where you see R&B, that means the
serial number break.
>> So, we sold these four teams here
>> and a serial number break right there.
So,
>> there's the names and the numbers.
>> And again, it is a
Six box break here of pristine.
>> Okay, we have another bigger team in the
in the site, guys. If you guys want to
run it back, a lot of good teams still
left.
And I think our prices are pretty
competitive, guys. Our personal box
prices are also pretty pretty nice as
well. So, remember similar to previous
years card wise, you know, but they kind
of reconfigured it. So, now all the
encased cards are actually just auto.
So, there's only three in case cards
now. There's no uncirculated stuff.
And then there is SSPs and short print
cases in this product now. So
that
two packs in each here.
>> We'll rip it box pie box.
>> We will pack stack this though. So make
it a little quicker and then we'll go
through the hits.
Yeah, first box. Yeah, just starting it
right now.
>> First box of PYP1.
>> All right, here we go.
>> Good luck everybody.
>> We got Kyle Teal.
>> Got a little Harry Ford plated and
polished.
You
>> gotaka munaka sorry makami
>> jun
>> wilderness that's an insert
that up though
>> then we got Jose Altuve olderness to 999
the Astros
she's still outer
Got a little Bryce Harper there. Then we
got to Jackson Merrill to 150. Our
Wilderness isn't a crazy SSP or anything
like that. I think it's just one every
three or four packs. So,
>> we're going to see a couple of those
throughout the break.
>> But I believe this is actually something
pretty nice. How about Jacob Misarowski?
Some of these are going to be like every
250 packs. Some of them are going to be
over 1,200 packs. I got to look at the
pops, but that one probably is a shorter
print one.
>> And [snorts] that's going to go to the
Brewers, which is Pomadus. There you go,
man.
>> Very, very nice.
>> Yeah. Let me pull up the checklist here.
I wonder now
>> what the odds are for this one.
Yeah, Rushmore would be sick. I think
there's only five of those
>> and those are really, really nice ones.
>> Yeah, pristine pops are one in every 650
>> and there's only 10 of them.
>> Timeless connections are one in every
1300 as well.
>> I believe it's packs. I don't think it's
boxes. Usually it's it's by the pack
>> and then you do the math. So if there's
200 if it's uh you know 650 you do the
math divided by six and I think that's
what comes out to the boxes.
with
a scheme.
>> All right, here we go.
>> And how about for the Yankees? Jason
Dominguez. That's number to 50. I
>> think he did get sent down though. But
>> Yankees on the board though, Kinhawk.
First one,
>> Robert Hassel for Washington.
>> Colt
>> with that one. I think Washington was
one of the last few teams taking over
with a serial number
>> and a Roman Anthony to 150 for Boston.
Benny the Jet.
There you go.
>> Nice first box.
All right, there's box numero
>> uno
smile.
It's safe to start.
All
right, Jensen.
>> And the I think these are one in every
few packs, too, as well. Spotless.
>> And [clears throat] we got plated and
polished. They're mookie bets to 999
>> and a Hank Aaron the 75
>> for Atlanta West.
Freddy Freeman number to 199.
Then we got a Jay Seymour for TB
to 150.
>> Tra Savage Chase Burns.
>> Got a wilderness there.
Special.com
>> got a Brooks Leaf from Minnesota to 150%
Carol there
>> and then Andrew McCussen for Texas to
Hang on.
>> Oh, that one looks really thick. Let's
get that one.
All right, here we go.
How about a Ronald Akunia Jr. autograph
there out of 75
>> spotless signatures. That's sweet. 41 to
75. That's West and the Braves
and Alex Freeland for the Dodgers.
>> LED. That's going to Diamotani.
>> All right, here we go. This is a thicker
one. This might be the popular demand.
This is a really really thick one.
>> Wow. How about a Jack
>> Jack Kagy on popular demand at a 25.
Wish I would have had a little color
there being at a 25 at least. just
important to you.
>> Very nice one there for the Royals
though. That's going to pomadus. There
you go.
>> All right. Well, so far first couple
nice boxes of players. You got a Roman
Anthony out already. You got a jack
of Pops.
>> We do have personals of this too as
well, guys.
What is the time All
right, here we go. Next one.
>> We got Freeland there to 75.
>> Hey, Edwin Diaz to 50 for the Dodgers.
Dodgers getting a lot of numbered stuff.
>> There's Rosski. There's Miz again as
well.
Alders Ortiz and we got plated and Paul
99 of Corbin Carroll
Mantel
Garrett Crochet to 150.
All right, here we go.
>> And a junior Camara
77 to 99 spotless autos.
>> Raise his ace.
and a Kate Horton for the Cubs.
>> Chicago Cubs. That's going to be you
>> and a Christian Moore for the Angels.
[snorts]
So Angels is part of the R&B and like I
said, sometimes they will be not
numbered. So everybody's going to get a
shot of this Angels one for the R&B.
So since it's not numbered and so far,
we haven't seen any numbered stuff. It's
all been either base
and then those base inserts. So we'll
put that here to the side. Everybody
will get a shot at that and we'll see
how we'll distribute it. If that's the
only one, it'll just be all in one lot.
All right. Halfway through, guys.
women.
Also, all the players and coaches.
>> All right, here we go.
We got a Dansby Swanson there to 199.
>> Oh, Donnie,
>> we got a Justin Crawford for the
Phillies. That's going to be numbered.
So, that's going to be 117
out of 150. So, that's going to be spot
seven.
>> And spot seven is going to go to Nate.
So we do have a number card for the
serial number there.
So you can see the seven 117
>> Jack and Bryce Eldridge 29.
>> It's going to go to the Giants who's
Cody Martin collector9
Bryce Matthews.
There's
>> a Justin Crawford. That's not numbered
though. It's just a base. We'll leave
that up though.
>> Uh, yes. This is case number one. PYT1.
>> Yes. Box four. Uhhuh.
Um, I'm gonna do a recap soon, Betty.
But you got something nice. I'll just
say that. I won't spoil it, but I'll do
a recap at the end.
>> All right, here we go.
>> Hits for box warning.
>> And we got David Bednar.
autograph there
>> for the Yanks
>> Yankees again. That's King Hack.
>> Got a green
>> Hunter Barco.
>> That's for the Pirates there. 91 of 150.
>> Pirates is shoes all day.
And here is the potential catch though.
Logan Webb
>> for the Giants. That's number to 99
Mar. There you go, man.
All right, two boxes left.
Like I said, number two is pinned below.
They look nicer. Yeah, they don't look
like they're
any crazy defects. The only thing is
that I feel like there's always at least
one non-numbered auto in here
for the most part. I didn't think this
one was numbered, but then I seen it
right at the top corner. So, I was
double checking the Christian Moore, but
this seems like there's a lot of
non-numbered autos this year, though.
Yeah, I mean I haven't really seen it,
but again, I'm not the best with the
eyes. You'd have to obviously take it
out of the slab if there's anything, you
know, look at, but it doesn't seem like
anything too noticeable at least.
All right, here we go.
Mcdani
and Alex Bregman. Yeah, hopefully we can
get you one of those.
>> You got uh what? The Padres's. Yeah,
>> good luck, man. Carter Jensen.
We got uh Marakami.
We got Jeremiah Jackson a 150 Schlitter
for the Yankees there.
Got a little Mookie insert
>> and a little Derek Jeter to 75.
And [clears throat] how about a Murakami
to 25? Pristine Wilderness.
>> 12 out of 25. Nice one there for the
White Socks Colts.
>> That's a sweet one.
>> And again, this is just a base insert,
but I like to leave with those inserts.
At least you aren't too crazy. I think
one every three or four packs.
>> All right, here we go.
to a 50. Nice spotlight or spotless,
sorry.
>> Looks pretty darn sweet.
>> Colts with the Nationals.
And how about an Adrien Bel. Wow. Adrien
Belrade of five.
>> Three of five. One, two, three. Color
patch for Texas going to Buff.
>> Very nice one, man.
>> All right. Well, Makami is definitely a
redemption, so
Let's see who this one is.
>> Yes, one box left.
>> We got a
metallics.
>> Wow, Marami again.
>> White Sox Colts, have yourself a break.
>> What's up, dude? Can you show the
August?
>> Yeah. Yeah, I got you right now. Uh the
buy at Jasp.
>> Yeah,
>> that one.
>> Gotcha.
>> Very nice.
>> I did call your name on earlier, Wes.
I'll do a recap right now once I'm done
with this box, man. So [snorts]
that way everybody can see everything
again.
And honestly guys, I mean I feel like
pristine is pretty nice. I mean, okay,
like every case is going to be a little
different, but we got a SSP,
>> right? That was like one every 600 plus
packs. Um, we got Maritaka, a Monotaka
Marakami redemption, you know, other two
rookies. I don't want to mention
everyone's names cuz in case they missed
it, but like the case has been pretty
solid. So even for personal wise in the
personal cases that we in the personal
box that we've done um you know we uh
we hit a Murakami redemption
but that's been it like bigger rookie
wise you know so I mean judging off of
this case there still should be more in
that case you know
so like I said regardless of the rookies
you still got solid hall of famers you
got solid active vets you So it's not
like once you hit a Makami, you think
like the case is dead, you know?
>> Definitely definitely some other things
you can still hit.
>> Yeah, definitely doesn't seem like a lot
of fluff. [snorts]
>> And yeah, I know some people like the
pack within a pack within a pack, but as
a breaker, it was just kind of annoying.
The packs are always sealed wrong and
just it took longer for the break. It
took like a 30 40m minute break for just
the amount of cards you were ripping
anyway. So I kind of like this new
configuration being a breaker. So,
>> makes a lot more cleaner.
>> All right, good luck everybody.
>> Yeah, if you guys want to run it back,
we definitely can.
Royals with that one.
[clears throat]
>> Insert.
>> We got Salvador Paris to 99.
>> Will Smith 219.
will be Bruce Black there.
>> And it seems like, like I said, guys,
there's multiple SSPs. Some of them are
a lot more shorter printed than others,
but it seems like you're probably going
to get one of them in every case at
least. So, you know, that's also a cool
thing. Some of them were only like 250
packs, some of them were one every 600.
Some of them were even one in every,200
pack. So, you know, also another fun one
there.
>> All right, here we go, guys. Good luck.
Last three hits.
And we got Robert Washington hit like
three times already.
>> Washington was a great one in this one.
>> There you go. Nationals Colt.
>> Also, I think Colt was me. What did he
say? Break one. I've had the audio off
for a bit. Yeah, Colt. This is break
one. And I'll do a recap right now of
the hits.
>> Luke Queso 275 there for the Minnesota
Twins, which is Brian.
>> There you go.
>> There we go. Last but not least, the
blue. It's number
>> and Ernnandez. That's going to go to the
R&B. We got 39.
Let's just show you guys. 39. Can you
guys see that? Nine out of 75.
>> So 39 is spot nine. C Luna. There you
go.
>> All right. So,
>> minus the base obviously in base
inserts, we ended up getting these hits
here for the serial number. So, that
one's obviously going to go to spot
seven, spot nine. The only thing we
didn't get non-numbered wise, autograph
wise, was this. So, what we'll end up
doing is randomizing this auto with
every other non-numbered base. And I'll
just go one lot
>> to make it easier.
>> And then here is uh obviously I sleeved
up a lot of the little normal inserts,
but just I like to protect those always.
>> Uh they'll be top loaded. Here's some
numbered stuff of course. So I know most
teams probably got more numbered than
anything or if not obviously just base,
but you know, just wanted to kind of
skim through it. Some nice colors here.
I think the lowest number we got was
that orange Makami, but
>> some cool stuff. And then here was
pretty much the main uh the rest of the
hits here, of course.
>> So, quick recap. Quesa, obviously you
just seen Robert Hassel, little Kags
there, Makami redemption, Adrian Beltry
to five, James Wood to 50. There's a
Makami to 25. Logan Web Barco Bedard,
[snorts]
we got Kate Horton, Yud Camro. Got the
Jack Hags there to 25 which is pretty
sweet. Freeland.
>> There's your hit right there. Wes Akunia
Jr. to 75. There's the pops. That was
one I think 600 plus packs. So that's a
nice one. Roman Anthony. There you go
for uh Benny at 99 out of 150. Sorry.
Robert Hassel again there. And then a
little Jayd Dom. So I mean realistically
I mean I feel like pretty nice case. You
got Roman Anthony Auto, you got Jack,
you got Murakami. Got a Mami insert
numbered. You know, Jacob Mizerowski.
Like I said, I feel like there's not too
much fluff. That's some nice stuff. And
like I said, every case will be
different though, but
>> it's pretty nice. So, appreciate it,
guys. Thank you. And number two is
Pimbo, guys.
to rest.
