If you're new here, my name is Cara. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. This morning felt so good to get some cardio in because I'm trying to incorporate more cardio in. I've been in the gym heavy with my trainer, but I just want to alternate between cardio and weightlifting and also Pilates. So, today was my cardio day. I'm about to do my skin care real quick. And my skin has been looking good, but it can be better. I feel like my skin has been staying super duper clear, especially with my lifestyle changes, but you know, with age, okay, the skin kind of changes. I want more on plumpness and firmness. So, I found the Kiehl's 1 CC Color Shot Plump Serum. This is supposed to penetrate deep within the skin surface layers. So, that's getting deep deep. It targets the visible signs of aging due to collagen loss for more plump and lifted appearance. And that's exactly what I'm looking for and what we need. And you're supposed to use this in the morning and at night. So, I am going to be super consistent with this because with everything, consistency is key. And I love that this serum is pink made from the pink vitamin B12. So, this is right now. We're looking really dull. This feels so nice. And you see that instant glow. What's unique about this serum is that it's made with recombinant collagen polypeptides. And that's what's found in human collagen. So, I need that extra collagen on my skin because I'm trying to have my skin looking firm and plump as possible. And you cannot forget the neck. And just like everything, nothing is overnight. So, I do want to keep track of my results to see if this is going to do exactly what it claims to do because I'm all about that action. Okay, I want to see if it's going to do exactly what it says it's going to do. So, I'm going to be keeping track of my progress. Cute pink air tank top. And then I'm just going to put on my Havaianas to go with It looks cute. And then I'm just going to wear a bum bag, my little Chanel charm, a little spice. It's giving very much streetwear. Wear these for now just to add a little pizzazz. You know what I mean? Just to know you can't cuz we going out on a Saturday and I don't know it's too many people in the streets. My classic Acne Studio. And then I'm just going to put on the Noir My nails look amazing. I don't even want to put it my rings on. But anyways, I feel bloated today and disgusting. Cute. Let's go run errands. The first stop is the shoe store that apparently has Vibrams. Vibrams just came out with some new colors. And y'all, it's been really hard to get Vibrams nowadays. But you know, they drop at a certain time and then they're sold out like that. So, my sister wanted me to come to the store. Apparently they have them. So, we're going to see. This is the store, Abbadabba's. It's hot today. Y'all, they have a whole bunch of shoes in here. Look at these. Mhm. They have a lot of nice shoes. Need some olive some cushions. Walking shoes. I don't see any Vibrams. Oh, there they are. Yesterday. And tomorrow I'm meal prepping because I'm not playing. Today I just felt so disgusting. It was like, ew. I made these cottage cheese balls yesterday. Just an experiment. Sometimes I don't like to show y'all yet until I actually like it. It was good. Don't get me wrong cuz I wanted like a little dessert. I am a dessert girly so I'll be craving dessert so I try to find healthy options. About to make me some chicken pizza tonight got from Whole Foods that I'm about to make. I'm going to make a chicken crust. I'm going to use grounded chicken to make the crust and season it with like oregano and stuff. And you have to mix it with like Parmesan cheese and all that. So, I got a few of those. And mind you, I don't eat chicken like that. I just really want a pizza. So, this is going to be a alternative option. I could have had cauliflower crust but no. So, I'm going to make two of them. I'm going to make one with mozzarella cheese and one with my dairy-free cheese. And then one of them I want to make like a veggie style and then the other one I want to make with turkey pepperoni. So, I got these bell peppers, turkey pepperoni. >> [gasps] >> OOH! I GOT THE WRONG ONE. PORK AND BEEF PEPPERONI? NO! [screaming] I got to go back to the store. This supposed to be turkey. I got my favorite cheese. Like when I do eat cheese, this Organic Valley spicy cheddar. So good. Carrot, turmeric, and ginger juice cuz I ran out, so I got three of those. I want some ranch. I ain't going to lie to you. I'm on some ranch on the side. And my mom put me on the Chef Hawk's avocado oil buttermilk ranch. It actually tastes very similar to I shouldn't say very similar, but it tastes like a good alternative version to Hidden Valley, of course, but nothing compares to Hidden Valley. No, actually nothing compares to Wingstop ranch. They have the best ranch. I ain't argue with your mama about that cuz they really do have the best ranch. So I got both of these cuz I wanted options to see which one I like better. For pizza sauce, I got the Rao's homemade pizza sauce. Now I like Rao's because the ingredients are right here. You can see what is actually inside of the pizza sauce. And also, I like picking up the local produce or products sometimes because I know it's made fresh locally. Made with no preservatives. Made with olive oil, basil, whole garlic, Italian parsley, lemon juice, and tomatoes and water. Try that out. A red onion and then some parmesan cheese because you have to mix parmesan cheese with with the chicken crust. I just got some more pepper corn pepper corn and my pepper grader that I love so much. I'm literally so mad about that pepperoni. I guess I'm going to have to bake my way to the store. Let's get started cuz I'm starving. Y'all like my new sweatshirt? The bar. I kind of like just throwing these on during the week. I'm getting hungry. Wanted to show y'all my breakfast tacos. Well, it's not breakfast anymore. My midday anti-inflammatory tacos. Y'all know beans are my ish and I just prepped these beans and I put onions, salt, pepper, taco seasoning. That's the secret to seasoning your beans. It's season it like you were going to season some ground beef for tacos. And this is the one that I like. I get this from Whole Foods. This is a new seasoning that I just got. I think I showed y'all this when I was making the salmon the other day. What was I making? Oh, no, not the salmon. The chicken crust pizza. This adobo. It has garlic, turmeric, black pepper, some sea salt, and oregano. Tastes so good. I put this in the beans. Delicious. We're about to simmer this so I can eat so I can conquer the day. We have these corn tortillas and I just put them on the stove and I put a little olive oil to cook them to warm them up. It does say do 10 to 15 seconds on the stove top, but I like mines a little extra crispy. I like myself a little crunchy. You know what I mean? I like a little crunch. So, I take the bean and these beans have onions in here, too. Some onion slices. And y'all, beans are so good for you. High in fiber and anti-inflammatory is easy, y'all. Like, it's not complicated, but I just feel like I know what I like and I know what works for my body. So, I be having the same things over and over. That's what I like to do. And then I have some guac here. I'm just going to add the guacamole. I don't know what is going on, y'all, but when I went to go get some avocados from the store, they were all green. Like, they weren't ready yet. So, I just grabbed some guacamole to put on my taco. And I'm just going to add some pico pico de gallo. Just a little bit cuz apparently my blood type doesn't like tomatoes. Surprisingly. We can't do it. We got to stay alive. This looks so good already. And then I'm going to take my vegan cheese that I like. Just a little bit. I've seen some people say like this has ants um inflammatory properties cuz on the Fig app it's green. So, I'm like, okay, if the Fig app says it's okay, then I should be fine. And this right here, best hot sauce ever. Trust, if you're out there looking, hit me up. This hot sauce is in rotation in my household. So good. And normally I would make my jalapeno sauce, but I don't feel like it right now. So, but yeah, this is how they look. Y'all, I don't even know why I'm hyped right now. I'm hyped because I'm about to eat. I was starving all freaking day. I went to a hot pilates class this morning. My energy has been low, but I had to go to Sephora because I'm going to try [clears throat] to do my hair at home this weekend. So I stopped and got me some new products. And also I ordered some stuff online. And also I got some a bunch of PR packages. I'm about to make one of my go-to favorite meals right now and I've been obsessed. Like, y'all know I've been saying I eat meat in moderation, but right now my body is craving meat, especially this ground bison from Whole Foods. Y'all, it's 90% lean, 10% fat, and it just tastes so good. And obviously with the seasonings that I told y'all about in combination with some onions. >> [laughter] >> And I'm just making it to this bowl. Y'all going to see, y'all going to see what it's like. Add the cheese, sweet potato, yes. And I'm going to put y'all on how to make the perfect sweet potato. And I already made them yesterday cuz I had the same bowl yesterday. And y'all, that's the key. Just eat the same stuff in rotation and you'll be good. Like, have the same meal every day of the week. I know there's some foodies out there that just can't help themselves and, you know, want to have a different meal of the week, which is okay. But with me, if I have a hyperfixation on it, oh baby, it's going to be consistent. I already made the sweet potato yesterday and they are perfection. They look crazy he now. Don't judge. Okay, so first things first, I got the Makeup by Mario lip liner in the color Travis. I'm going to try that out. I got a few lip liners because y'all know I'm trying to figure out my everyday lip. And then I got some Kerastase. This is what I'm going to use today to figure out my hair situation. I got their Gloss Absolute. If y'all don't know, like glosses are good for your hair cuz they make them like shiny, silky, and smooth. So, I want to try this out at home, and I heard great things about Kerastase, so I'm so excited to try. Kerastase, if you're watching this, sponsor me. And then I got the Kerastase serum. This is actually a repurchase because I got the small bottle to start, but I've noticed such a huge difference when it comes to my hair fall out, when it comes to shedding on the brushes when I brush my hair. So, I was like, you know what? Let's keep this stuff for a couple more months. And I like the consistency of this. It's like a water-based serum, which I like. Actually, I don't like because I don't know how it's going to hold when I get like a a quick weave or something like to put in the front cuz I know it's probably going to shrivel up and make my hair back to its natural state. But love this for when I wear my natural hair, my silk buns. You know what I'm saying? So, if you are trying to figure out a serum, going to this a try. And then, I got the Kerastase anti-frizz glaze milk. Y'all, we're going to just do a whole Kerastase hair routine at this point. I can't wait. I'm excited. But, this is going to get like This is like for styling purposes cuz I do want to do a at-home roller set. So, I want to put like a leave-in conditioner in, foam, and then an anti-frizz like um for hydration. So, this has hyaluronic acid in it, which is good for hydration cuz my hair needs it because it can get very dry. This has glycolic acid in it and wild growth oil. So, yeah, I can't wait to try this out. And it was between this and the gloss cream, but I feel like the cream would be too heavy on me. And also, one of my girls, Coco, if you're watching this, Coco, she helped me out at Sephora and I was like, "Which one do you like better?" She was like, "Girl, I flatter" She was like, "I blow-dried my hair with this and it made it so silky and so soft." And I was like, "Period." And I also am going to compare this to the Amika anti-frizz spray [music] because that one is really good as well. And then, I got some Moroccan oil. When I was looking up so many First of all, my mama used to do roller sets on me all the time. So, taking notes from her, but also been doing my own research. The girls been using the Moroccan oil all-in-one leave-in conditioner cuz like I said, I want to use a leave-in conditioner when I do do the roller set, but also when I'm about to do my hair right now. So, going to try this out by Moroccan oil. And then, I got the Kerastase um mask cuz I heard really good things about this mask, too. Cuz my hair needs all the hydration, all the gloss, everything. So, can't wait to try that out today. And then, I got a whole bunch of lip products. Like I said, y'all, I went crazy on the Makeup by Mario lip liners, but I got the shade Lauren, I got the shade Angela, and I got the shade almond, and I got the shade tan. And the main reason I ordered placed order from Sephora is because of this right here. This 54 Thrones body wash. This is the buttercream body wash, baby. If you have a dry skin, when you get out of the shower, it's going to be so baby smooth and soft and just like I just love this body cream, [music] and I'm so mad they don't sell it in stores anymore. And it just makes your skin so nice and buttery and soft. So, I love to end off my shower routine with this body wash, and I recently ran out. So, this is repurchase repurchase repurchase. I repurchase this so many times. And also, when I travel, I love to take the mini body wash with me as well. So, make sure y'all go try this 54 Thrones buttercream body wash. It's so good, I'm telling you. Especially the winter about to come up. Summer is gone. Summer is like out of here. So, make sure in the winter [music] you go try that out. I feel like I never take care of my hair [music] at home as far as like styling. I oil my hair. I do oil like there's a oil treatment in right now >> [music] >> and stuff like that, but as far as like styling my hair, I don't be I'll do it, but I don't I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. But, anyway, this is for a roller set. So, I got the Youth to the People body scrub. I like this body scrub as well. I like to alternate my products in the shower. Not going to hold you, so I needed a new the Youth to the People one. And then I got the Brown Girl Jane hair and body mist. I think I've seen Simi talk about this. She said she got a whole bunch of compliments, and I love Brown Girl Jane. Bree from Shea Moisture Sheen actually put me on Brown Girl Jane, and [music] I've been obsessed, and she makes really fruity and tropical scents, and this smells >> [laughter] >> This smells good cuz I always want like a quick mist for like when I'm about to go to hot pilates or when I I'm about to go to sleep, and I don't want to put [snorts] any like harsh harsh perfumes on me. But, yeah, this smells was good. This smells like vanilla. Ooh, pineapple's in here. I could definitely see that cuz it's very citrusy and mixed with vanilla, which I like. Yes, we will be wearing out of her. This is definitely a good top and up cake. And I went perfume crazy a little bit. I ain't going to lie, but with samples. So, I am trying out the Paco Rabanne Fame in love because we were out at the Jay-Z concert and my homegirl she had on Rabanne perfume and she was like, "Yeah, I love it so much." I don't know if this is the exact scent, but I was like, "Let me just try something from Paco Rabanne." That smells [music] like nothing. Okay, wait. I like this. Oh my god, y'all. This is something I've never smelled before. It's like a sweet oud, sexy like What are the notes? Oh my god, let me get the notes. Like I can read this. Let's be serious. Definitely going in my purse and I'm going to be spraying this and I might be getting the big bottle because this smells amazing. And then Nest is one of my favorite brands as far as like a perfume. Well, I only like one of their perfumes, which is the pear jam, which I got right here for my purse because I don't have any more, so I had to re-up on that. And I seen that they came out with a new scent and this scent is called mochi banana, which it has banana in it, which I'm so curious to see how banana smells in a fragrance. And also, I would have purchased Fumi's fragrance. Shout out to Fumi for her new [music] Influxuous line, Black Ombre. Women Ombre in Sephora and it sold out. It sold out. [music] I'm just so happy for her. That's amazing. I was on the website trying to get the fragrance, but it was all sold out, but shout out to Fumi. Let's spray this. One more perfume. I just been on a perfume kick lately. No, I just been being on a girl lately. And this is the Giorgio Armani Power of You. I have the male version of this, but I kind of wanted [music] to try the women's version. And I like this. This is sexy. I think this has pomegranate in it if I'm not mistaken. [music] What I read in the notes, but this smells really good. These two right here I'm about to wear tonight. Hopefully I get the most compliments cuz I know how to put a perfume combination together, okay? Like I just got my blood drawn the other day, and the girls were like, "Oh, you smell delectable." And I was like, "Thank you." It's a combination of things, baby. And then anyways, I got the Huda Beauty lip contour cuz she just came out with some new matte mousses, like the liquid matte lipstick, which y'all know I've been wanting to get into matte lips. [music] So, I ordered the lip combo that she had on. So, she had lip contour 2.0 in a combination with Rosie Nude, I believe. Cuz I already have the bombshell one. I also got the rich brown color, and then I got the Glossier blush cuz I've heard good things about this Glossier lip pencil. And then I got the liquid matte. So we're going to try all these out throughout these days. But yeah, that's it for Sephora. And let me show y'all everything else that I got. Be prepared. Sit back, get some popcorn. I'm about to unpackage everything and then we'll go through it. So next, a brand reached out. The brand is called Avana. This is the brand. That's what it's called. And she sent me over two dresses and she hand makes these [music] dresses, y'all. Made to order, okay? And look at this dress. Look at how gorgeous this is. Y'all cannot tell me with a fire baddie heel with this on. It's like a balloon type of dress with feathers at the end, which I love. And y'all know I love me some animal print. And this is like a tiger metallic sexy vibe. You know what I'm saying? This screams I'm that girl. Can't wait to wear this. Thank you so much, girl. And also she sent me over this dress. This has like strings in the back to really snatch me up and then this two-tone color combination. It is this gorgeous green matched with this blue. And it's like ruffled and it's so gorgeous. I cannot wait to wear this. And I think it's like a halter top. Yeah, it's like a halter top and then it's like a dress. And then with my blue Chanel or my blue turquoise purse. See? And then I got this sweater from The Bar, which y'all seen the gray version in the beginning of this video. And I just love the baby blue with the pink. It just gives like girly feminine energy. And yeah, just a cute comfy sweater to wear on like a everyday basis. I ordered some stuff off Retro Cut. I ordered some stuff off Revolve. The first set is a retro fat set and I love retro fat. They just are so extra. And I just love them. So I immediately seen this green set. Like look how gorgeous this top is. Like it's giving, "Hey, I'm here. I am that girl and I want all the eyes on me." Which I really don't, but that all the eyes just happen to be on me, okay? And then I got this skirt the skirt to match. And look how cute is this going to be, okay? And then I also want to style it with lavender. I think lavender and green looks so girly and feminine and I'm going to get tapped more into color combos and I think this will look so pretty like with a lavender my lavender Dior bag or even with this. So, like imagine this with this, you know? And then I could pair it with these bangles if I wanted to, but probably wouldn't cuz I didn't want wouldn't want to be that much. But, look at how gorgeous that is, okay? Or lavender lavender, okay? And then I also got this gorgeous [music] lace my favorite lace bras from Victoria's Secret. Y'all see later when I unbox them, but yeah, I just thought this was so cute and adorable and I just cannot wait to wear this. I just want to order to be prepared, you know what I mean? I I'm making that excuse for myself. After this, I'm not That's why I said I'm not shopping this month of August. I think I told y'all that in another vlog, but [music] yeah, like I've just like been preparing for the season and I just feel like I have so many clothes that I need to wear and style and I just want to play around in my closet. So, I also got this EVE'S denim racerback tank top. It's just a simple tank, but still it's going to give elevated once it's on. Little side boob. And then I also got some stuff from EVE'S. EVE'S is a revolve brand. It's just like a cute throw-on coat, but still I want to look elevated, you know what I mean? And I also just got these Steve Madden booties with this like a cute fit like some black pants. And then I also got this EVE'S These EVE'S pants because I have this Norma Kamali top that I've been dying to wear. It's a bodysuit and I don't have any pants to match. Well, I could style it like some other way, but I seen these pants and I was like, "Ooh, my Norma Kamali will look so good with this. Let me show y'all." I lied. This is the top, right? It's this cute bodysuit, and it has like these long scarves that you can like wrap around it or whatever, do what you want to do. I don't think this is going to work cuz these are two different brands. So, this might be getting returned. Like a lie. But, yeah, I just can't wait to wear this bodysuit. Thought these were going to be match. Fenty sent over Fenty body, some more fragrances, and ooh, body milk. Okay, period. Can't wait. What scent is this? Hey, bouquet. So, I'm thinking this is giving floral. Love a good body milk from Fenty. Yes. Already know what the vanilla flower smell like, or do I? Is this new? This has to be new. No. I think this is the signature scent. Yeah. So, love these from Fenty body because these are just one of those body lotions that is very hydrating, but it's still lightweight. You know what I'm saying? Cuz, you know, I love a good thick lotion, a body cream, body butter, but I love a good lightweight, especially when I'm about to go to sleep. And then, they sent over the scents to match. Yes, exactly. That's going to be perfect for a little nightcap. And they also sent me some matcha. They have a collab with somebody named Nami Matcha. So, they sent me the matcha. I think this is a lip gloss holder, and then some gloss bombs, which I can appreciate. I love Fenty down to the gods. So, Fenty, love you guys. Hey, y'all. It's a couple days later, but I wanted to show y'all the last part of the haul. That day, my camera actually had died, then I had got caught up into something but like I told y'all I got a whole bunch of new Victoria's Secret bras. So this is my favorite lace bra. It gives you like a nice push and also [snorts] I just love how it looks under like a tank top or like it's just like a cute peekaboo moment. Like it's going to lift the girls up and still be part of the outfit. So I got this cute teal color. Y'all know teal is the color of the season and I'm just obsessed with how it looks on my skin tone. Then I got a baby blue one. I am going to take this rose off cuz it kind of annoys me sometimes when when I put it on under shirt. When I had the first peekaboo moment was during F1 weekend and I was like oh yeah I'm obsessed I need a whole bunch so and then I got a lavender color to go with that green outfit and then I got olive green color and also a brown and I'll have all this stuff linked down below and then Heaven Mayhem sent me a phone case. I'm about to change my phone case right now cuz I'm about to head out the door. Flight at 11:00 and it's 9:30 so I'm trying to make to the airport on time but they just came out with this new zebra print. They gave me like three options to choose from but I thought this was the cutest one and I don't know about y'all but I take my phone case and my Octobuddy very seriously cuz it's all about the details and I got a teal color Octobuddy so that's how it's going to look. It looks so cute. I've been waiting to put this together just to show y'all on camera. Cute. So cute. I'm obsessed. So cute. I wish that they came out with black phones but this blue be throwing me off sometimes but it's okay. But anyways I'm about to make my way out the door. I just wanted to end this vlog off here.
