First of all, I want to ask you, do you feel like he have right to keep bringing Booy name up on his show like this when Booy ain't messing with him no more? He jumped in front of the screen as he's an interviewer firsthand, but he decided, and a lot of them have uh to jump in front of the screen and start telling how they feel about this thing cuz people want to hear they want to hear what we say, you know. Um they want to hear what you say. They want to hear what we got going on in our minds about the situation that's taking place. >> Um I kind of agree that um it's it's fair game when it hits the public. You can do what you want to do with it. So it it ain't I agree with you. I don't like agreeing with you. I don't even rock with you like that because I know already you going to flip on something else I'm about to show you. But at the end of the day, um I just don't like uh the way that uh you come across sometime when it come to the statements I make. Let me just say that. You could say that Booiey's the reason why Vlad TV is popping. And you could say that without Booy, no one's checking for Vlad TV. But I've now proven that Vlad TV could do the biggest numbers ever without Booy. Tekashi hasn't been on Vlad TV in a few months. Charleston's been on Vlad TV recently. Chingi did a good interview. Who else? Max B pop popping an interview. If you haven't watched it, you got to watch it. But if you want to give credit where it's due, me getting in front of the camera like this has been a game changer. My Kefi D reaction is approaching like 7 800,000 views. My clips about Nori are like half a million, 600,000. Me just reacting to me reacting to Little Dirt got like half a million views. So Vlad is the biggest draw on Vlad TV. Let's just keep it 100. I'm going to say it. You could deny it. You could do whatever. No one's checking for Vlad. It's only the guest. But now Vlad is in front of the camera. When I first jumped in front of the screen, you know, I knew already the concept was a great concept. This was three years ago now. I was interviewing people. When I jumped in front of the screen, I said, "This here will be the best way to do it uh to do my reactions and for people to see, you know, me uh far as doing the the the show outside of just things of the interviews that I was doing." And I did a hell of a job on interviews. Of course, we didn't get the numbers that Vlad Vlad got who been in the game for 20 years, but we were doing our thing. Um, you know, uh, had a crazy viral moments with you and, uh, Charleston White and, uh, uh, uh, Skull, Melvin Farmer. Crazy viral moments with, uh, Pocket Extra Sloppy, uh, the boy that went crazy, uh, Young LA, crazy viral moments with, uh, Bonito and all these other people. But I thought, okay, let me go ahead and get in front of the screen. Now, this something I did. You go back four years ago interviewing to doing this. Now I look, I see Si Sean Cotton. He even did it before Vlad did it. Say cheese cotton. He jumps in front of it and he starts doing the reactions and it's a great concept to do because of the simple fact of people uh want to hear your opinions on what's going on because they they value your opinion because they're following your channel. Um, I don't think nobody doing it better than me and you, OG. Y'all get in the comments. I think me and OG do it the best out of everybody. You know, it's it's fire over here. It's crazy. OG might OG's the wild hair. I'm the one that bring it back together. As y'all already know, OG will mess it up. Okay. Now, OG, um, what do you think about Blad flexing on uh on on Booy saying now he's the center of att t att tension. His numbers do better. his things that he's doing. He better with our off without booy. >> Well, man, I look at it like we um which I was calling culture vultures. They was behind the scene. They didn't want their faith. They didn't mind [clears throat] their voices being up, but they used the negro to get their numbers up on in our culture. >> Wow. So it's easy for them to sit from behind the camera and just talk you like you say you didn't see Vlad you didn't see Cam Capone cuz he didn't want to like he said he wanted to be 60 Minutes but no he he didn't want to be 60 Minutes to black America he wanted to be the voice >> Wow >> hidden behind the black face black face But now once everything is started and it got the interest up, who is this guy? Who is this voice we've been hearing for years? So now he exposes itself. Now he can because now he's cross reference over. You used to hearing his voice. Now you see his face. He used all of the celebrities that that that he would bring on and all the interesting stories from the culture of black America. And now all of a sudden you saying this thing now he's he as he's already elevated himself through the culture. Now he's going to leverage himself by going uh in on situations and certain circumstances towards the culture from face value. No, he ain't got to stay behind the camera. So now you done mixed in so good that he he's able to come out now and portray himself as the the culture. >> One of us. >> Wow. >> I'm so glad he been around for years. >> He started off as a DJ. He's he he's he he he he's he's been around everybody that that we deal with. So you're right. You're right, OG. But there, you know, the one thing I can tell you about him, and you know, he bring out stuff that I never would have even thought about. And when I heard this next part I'm about to share with you, a lot of people were saying it. I had a phone call to come to me about it, but I wasn't going to speak on it because I was like, I ain't going to even put no add no gasoline to the fire. But this part right here, it took him to to say it. But at the end of the day, I'm going to speak on it because he done spoke on it now. But I wasn't going to at first, but now I'm going to speak on it. And here it is, OG. This is about the 60-minute interview. Lucy went on 60 Minutes and talked about that and said, "Well, I thought that this is just how it worked in this world." Now, what's interesting is that after this interview went out, there was a bunch of posts that went viral that said that Booy needs to get a lawyer ASAP because he's going to be charged with trying to bribe a government official to get a pardon. Now, this is an interesting concept. So, I actually looked into it and I talked to a couple of lawyers, one of which was Bradford Cohen. And Bradford Cohen, if you remember, got pardons for Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. And he doesn't think that there is really any chance that Booy could be charged for this. >> Wow. So, there it is. OG. So, I seen a couple of people in my comments. I got a phone call about it. people trying to say that because Booy did this, he violated some type of way and could be arrested. I was like, I ain't messing with that. Because at the end of the day, I didn't believe it first foremost. I was like, oh no, it wouldn't it ain't that it can't go that way because he tried to pay, you know, uh uh uh for this uh pardon, so to speak, through people who lobby and try to get you a pardon. And they tried to make that a thing where they could mess with Booy about it. Did you even think about that when we was talking about it? >> Um, no. Because that's what lobbies do. I mean, that's how laws are made. the cannabis industry, the um the alcohol, tobacco, and and firearms, they all get donations from different uh entities in order to go lobby to get a bill passed. >> Okay. >> So, I mean, that's what that's what a lobby the lobbyist ain't nothing but the street middleman. >> Okay. Okay. So you >> he gets a he gets a percent for doing a job but sometimes the job but that's that's the the shy part of that circumventing because sometime you win and sometime you lose. >> So when you lose and you put stipulations that you going to get back half the money. What what about that? >> It ain't it. That's what you said in the court of law. In the court of law, now we got to deal with law. Now I'mma sue you. If I think I'm going to sue you. >> If it's not a binding contract, it's not your He'll say they don't it that doesn't work. Well, you told me you was going to give me. I don't All he has to say is I don't remember. >> I don't remember. >> I don't recall. But he's already on paper. >> You gave me $600,000. I tried. It didn't work. >> I'm saying booy already on on paper. So this shouldn't shouldn't do nothing to him. Anyway, here it go. Here I'm I found someone say no booy badass cannot be arrested for paying a lobby firm to advocate for presidential pardon because hiring registered lobbyists and and filing formal clemency advocacy requests is illegal. So this is not there's nothing wrong with this people. And he says paying paying consultants, attorneys or lobbyist firms to pursue presidential pardons or government advocacy is entirely legal under federal guidelines while paying for lobbying services. The legal representation is permitted. Paying direct bribes is exchange for official corrupt act or guaranteed government outcome would be illegal. In Booy's case, federal lobbyist records show the firm was properly registered to correct uh to contact the government on on his behalf. >> What happened in Boo's case, though? Here we go. Booya Torres has paid 600,000 upfront 2025 to the Washington lobbyist firm JB Burkeman Association uh and run by political uh operatives Jack Burkeman and Jacob Wool to lobby for presidential pardons on his federal gun case. The fallout the pardon never materialized and the White House confirmed no formal applications was ever processed or received for them. the dispute. Rather than facing the criminal charges for the transaction, Booya became the victim of arbitration and public complaints to claw back 300,000 of his money under the firm refund contact contract. Yeah, he got the lawsuit. Jethro went bankrupt and he didn't get a P. Yeah, on paper, son. Yeah, I owe you, but you ain't getting it, >> man. See, you you you see how that go, y'all. Uh um um you got to realize Booy, you know, was being called a snitch by a lot of people behind this little situation when he's just basically fighting to try to get his money back. Um, a lot of people uh including yourself set out to say things about Booya, about him just because he uh because he uh said a few things, you know, uh uh about getting about getting his money back. By getting his money back and now you came out and you start uh uh you know, talking crazy about it. >> Talk crazy about >> Yes, you did. I'm a big Booya fan. I don't play by booy when it come down to stuff like this. They took his money. He can fight for it to get it back. If he lose, he lose. If you give some government liers a substantial amount of money, they sign a contract and they don't abide by that contract, they get sued. This is business. Same thing with a record record contract. If you give somebody five hours, they owe you 3 million and they don't return it or give it to you, they get sued. This is business. >> You hear that, OG? I want you to just hear that cuz this business, he had a contract. You trying to You keep holling about, "No, no, he got a contract. Therefore, these things have to take place in order for him to get his money back. Stop fighting against Booy and his contractual agreements online trying to put it as street stuff. I had to check you on that, OG. I listened to it after we talked yesterday and I said, "No, I got to get with OG about that. Stop trying to say it's for the streets when he got a contract." It was so new to the game. We was changing from cassettes to CDs. And that's how I started dealing with Boo's music, man, cuz I knew he would link to Pimp C. I knew he was from the BR. We very in tune with our artist down here in the South. I don't know what y'all doing up there on the West Coast.
