Ukrainian special forces successfully ambushed Russian marines at the front
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
Ukrainian special forces from the third special operations regiment of the Alpha Group executed a successful ambush against Russian marines attempting to consolidate their positions for further offensive operations. Shadow Pack operators infiltrated the target area, conducted surveillance to identify enemy routes, and set a trap that resulted in the death of two Russian soldiers and the capture of a seriously wounded individual from the 145th Marine Battalion. During this operation, Ukrainian forces confiscated the enemy's documents, weapons, and communications equipment while securing the area under their control, effectively halting any further Russian advancement on that specific section of the front. The mission was notably supported by unmanned aerial system operators who utilized FPV drones and heavy UAVs to provide critical assistance during the combat engagement.
In a separate development near the village of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk direction, the assault regiment of the ARG of the Charter Corps achieved significant territorial gains at dawn. Supported by foreign volunteers fighting within the Russian UG structure, these soldiers cleared a large forest area and destroyed enemy positions, liberating 7.5 square kilometers of territory. Their advance allowed them to clear land southwest of Dvorichna and take control of the northern part of the village of Zapadnoye, demonstrating effective coordination in clearing enemy-held zones through direct assault operations.
Elite special operations forces also reported success in liberating the settlements of Andriyivka, Kleshchiyivka, and Dabays, where they engaged in intense close-quarters combat to clear houses and basements. These operations resulted in the killing of at least 30 Russian soldiers while another 30 surrendered voluntarily. A significant portion of these surrenders occurred after captured or nearby soldiers heard radio calls from their comrades expressing the senselessness of continuing the war and emphasizing the urgent need to save lives, leading many to lay down their arms.
The transcript concludes with a statement from a captured Russian army soldier who expressed gratitude toward the special operations forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for their actions during these engagements. This acknowledgment highlights the shifting dynamics on the battlefield where some personnel are beginning to question the conflict's purpose and seek ways to preserve their lives, reflecting the broader impact of these successful Ukrainian military operations on enemy morale and operational capabilities.

Ukrainian special forces from the third
special operations regiment of the Alpha
Group staged an ambush, killing two
Russian occupiers and capturing another.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces Special
Operations Command reported this on its
Facebook page. According to the Special
Operations Command, the Russian
occupiers were attempting to consolidate
their position in one of the operational
areas to accumulate personnel and
continue their offensive operations.
However, Shadow Pack operators from the
third special operations regiment of the
Alpha Group infiltrated the area,
conducted surveillance, discovered the
enemy's route, and set up an ambush. As
a result of the ambush, two Russian
occupiers were killed and one seriously
wounded was captured. It turned out to
be a group from the 145th Marine
Battalion of the Russian army. The enemy
soldiers' documents, weapons, and
communications equipment were
confiscated. The area was taken under
the control of the Ukrainian defense
forces. Further advancement of the
Russian occupiers on this section of the
front was prevented. It should be noted
that Ukrainian special forces were
supported by unmanned aerial system
operators during the aforementioned
combat mission, specifically by FPV
drones and heavy UVs. Recently, the
assault regiment of the ARG of the
Charter Corps made a successful advance
in the Kupiansk direction. The soldiers
cleared a large forest area near the
village of Dvorichna of the enemy. The
assault was carried out by foreign
volunteers fighting in the Russian UG.
At dawn, they advanced to the front
line, destroying the positions of the
Russian Armed Forces. Foreign service
members of the regiment liberated 7.5
square kilometers of territory, cleared
a section of land southwest of
Dvorichna, and took control of the
northern part of the village of
Zapadnoye, Charter reported. It was also
reported that the elite special
operations forces liberated Andriyivka,
Kleshchiyivka and Dabays, capturing 30
occupiers. Ukrainian special forces from
the Triarii special operations forces
unit engaged in close combat, clearing
houses and basements. At least 30
Russian soldiers were killed in the
fighting and another 30 surrendered
voluntarily. Remarkably, most of the
occupiers surrendered after hearing
calls from their comrades over the radio
about the senselessness of continuing
the war and the need to save lives.
Thank you to the special operations
forces of the Ukrainian armed forces,
the captured Russian army soldier said.
