Tucker Carlson soon to be Muslim? INSHALLAH

Video summary

The video features a discussion with Steven, a former political editor for the Catholic news outlet Zeal News, who recounts his recent experience of being ordered to drastically reduce or cease coverage regarding Israel's treatment of Palestinians. This policy shift reportedly came after a meeting involving the US Ambassador to the Vatican and influential Catholic donors following the Napa conference, leading Steven to resign because he viewed the directive as a moral scandal that violated his conscience. He argues that suppressing reports on human rights abuses in the Holy Land contradicts the teachings of the Church and the Pope, suggesting that such censorship prioritizes political interests over spiritual duty and the suffering of Christians in the region. A significant portion of the conversation addresses the common misconception that terms like "Allah" and phrases like "Inshallah" are exclusive to Islam or indicate a conversion away from Christianity. Steven explains that these are simply Arabic words for "God" and "God willing," respectively, which are used daily by Arabic-speaking Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike without any conflict with their faiths. He shares an anecdote about a Lebanese Christian colleague who uses "Inshallah" twenty times a day, illustrating that understanding the linguistic context is essential to avoiding false accusations of apostasy against Western figures like Tucker Carlson who may use these terms innocently or through translation. The dialogue also touches upon broader criticisms of certain Catholic practices, with Steven defending the faith against what he perceives as superficial attacks on religious traditions involving statues and rituals. He emphasizes that the current challenges facing Christians are not merely about finding "bad guys" but rather recognizing that evil permeates human hearts everywhere, including within his own organization. Consequently, his primary message is a call for American Catholics to remain intimately connected to Christ and to stand in solidarity with persecuted believers in the Middle East, rather than allowing political ambitions or donor pressures to dictate their moral stance on critical issues like the war in Gaza. The video concludes with a strong assertion that opposing figures who advocate for peace or criticize Israeli aggression is not an act of declaring war on Western civilization but a defense of Christian values and human rights. The host wraps up by promoting a prayer tracking app called "Just Pray" as a tool to help viewers manage their spiritual lives, while reiterating the importance of supporting brothers and sisters in Gaza, Sudan, and Syria. Ultimately, the content aims to clarify misunderstandings about Islamic terminology among Christians, defend the integrity of Catholic journalism against political pressure, and encourage a return to core Christian compassion for those suffering under occupation.

He said, "I say in shala, like 20 times a day." >> Do you know what it means literally? Do you know what the English translation from the Arabic means? >> God willing, roughly. >> Exactly. Exactly. That's pretty God willing. And as a Christian, I there's kind of no sentiment I endorse more than that. That's not in conflict with my faith. It's It's an expression of my faith. >> Just praise the only app all day that tracks every single of your prayers and it stops every other app when it's time to pray. That means no more checking messages, no more doom scrolling when it's time to pray. I didn't partner with any other app for one simple reason. They're not habit forming. I would download an app, use it for 2 minutes, after that I would get bombarded by ads, close it and never open it again. Just praise in a completely different league. It notifies you before your prayer, manages the time window, tracks your delays and documents your spiritual journey. On top of that, they have an amazing gamified interface where every prayer grows your garden. You can literally see your progress. Additional to that, it has the function of the prayer circles where you can pray together with friends and family. You can stay accountable and see who prayed or not. All right, guys. Now, without further ado, let's have a look. >> Steven, thanks so much for doing this. Um the story what happened to you recently is it's it's hard to believe at first. Um so if I understand just the outline of it, you were working for a Catholic news organization and you were told not to allow anything in print that might criticize, discredit the state of Israel up to and including the state of Israel's mistreatment of Christians. Is that Is that right? >> Here's the thing. Let me just for a little context. >> Yeah. >> I work for and I I'm a long-time political editor for Zeal News, which is a Catholic Catholic Votes uh news outlet. And we have in the past done a lot of covering till until very recently done a lot of coverage um arguably more than any other Catholic outlet on the mistreatment of uh Palestinians by Israeli forces and by the Israeli settler movement. And one of our main sources on the ground has been the organization The Vulnerable People Project, which I know you've heard of and uh I've seen uh mentioned on your show. And what happened is right after the Napa conference it was conveyed to me that we were now adopting a new policy and it was to drastically reduce um our coverage of Israel. Now, I will say it's been presented to me in various ways. On one occasion, yeah, it was a total prohibition. No coverage of Israel um until the elections. Um that's as a rule. And maybe with exceptions and there will be if there are exceptions it has to be explicitly put, you know, brought to the CEO and under brought under extra scrutiny. >> I'm I'm sorry to ask you to pause. Until which elections? >> I guess the upcoming midterms. >> Okay. >> the the reference. And so to me though what was what was alarming on the outset was this came in the context of uh right after the Napa conference in California which was attended by the US ambassador to the Vatican, Brian Brown. >> is the What is the Napa conference? >> The Napa conference, the Napa Institute. It's um the the people present would be Catholic influential Catholics in politics and media, um donors. >> I've got to interrupt you real quick It is very important to understand that 90% of Zionists nowadays are not Jews. So, when you say I'm against Zionists, you're not speaking about Jews or religious Jews. You're speaking in 90% of the cases about Christians in America. Most of them are evangelical Christians, I have to say this, but of course it implies Catholics as well, as you can see here. Christians are the biggest supporters of the state of Israel in this day and age. You have more Christian supporters for the state of Israel than actual Jews. It's amazing. >> One of the takeaways from our meeting uh our meetings with donors and from our meeting with the ambassador is we have to change our editorial policy on all issues with you know, all articles that we were publishing with regard to this one issue, Israel. Um that in itself, without even getting into the substance of what the policy change might be, uh was so alarming that I immediately went to my immediate supervisor and said, >> Amazing. >> this violates my conscience. I don't I don't think I can abide by this. Um but that was only I guess the beginning. I feel bound in conscience, and I even said this to executives before I resigned. I said, "This is unmistakably a moral scandal." And with the involvement of the US ambassador to the Vatican, especially in light of how outspoken our Holy Father has been, as well as his right-hand man in the Holy Land, you know, Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the cardinal who is the um patriarch of Jerusalem, to say nothing of the clergy on the ground in the West Bank, for the US ambassador to be going to the US and meeting with an executive at a media organization and saying we need to adjust our policy toward Israel and the way we cover it is inherently scandalous. And I said I will not be complicit in such a scandal. Uh and I don't be I don't appreciate being put in the position of sitting on it. >> I generally don't understand how anybody in this day and age can be Catholic. >> [music] >> This Catholicism putting a skull into a golden statue of a supposed angel, [music] I guess, something of those lines, with a bunch of crosses. And you're wearing the pink little hat on top of that. And then kissing it, kissing the skull of a dead person. The skull of a literal dead person, bowing to it, and everybody's applauding. I'm genuinely really wondering, how is this even happening in 2026 or not? Like, how is this even real right now? I'm not pulling the atheist card here. I'm not saying, "Oh, you're believing in a sky daddy." No, that's not what I'm saying. I believe that you can make a rational argument for the existence of a primordial being, so to speak, an existence that creates existence in and of itself, a necessary cause, a necessary being, yada yada yada. But when it comes down to those practices, how do you justify them in this day and age where you have AI, where you have internet, where you have science? How do you come to the conclusion that's a good idea now to take all of that gold and dunk it onto another golden statue, put a dead person's head into it? What is going on? How is any normal, sane human being today still believing in this? Essentially, this just Roman larping. >> I think that what's happening right now, we we battle, as scripture says, against powers and principalities. Um it would be simplistic and unproductive to go, "Okay, I found the bad guys. >> Right. >> Now, jump on my bandwagon >> Exactly. >> where none of the bad guys are. We're all good. Um the line as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said between good and evil runs through the human heart, and I just found it runs through the hearts of everyone in my organization, right? >> Yeah. >> And and ours. >> For that matter. >> And ours. Right. And so, the message that I feel I want to send is more like right now, the church in the Holy Land is suffering, and I want Catholics in America to be intimate with Christ. To be close to Christ, to look to Christ, to not lose their not lose sight of Christ on the cross and not lose sight of the body of Christ where it's suffering, especially. Um and not allow whatever the interests might be. >> This is so counterintuitive, man. So, that means that the apostles of Christ during his lifetime actually were not Christians. They were not saved, whatever. And all the messages that Jesus Christ gave them, all the lessons that he taught, all of that is pretty much a non sequitur. Nobody cares for it. It's really not important whatsoever. What is important, however, is that Jesus Christ got crucified. His whole ministry, essentially, is totally useless. It's not about it. The only thing that is useful for you guys now is that he got crucified. And this makes you a Christian. And so, now the Christians, the Catholics have to focus on Jesus Christ dead on the cross. Okay. >> Say, well, until the elections, we need to focus, you know, downplay some, you know, like that's just not an option for us as Christians. It's not. We have to be a um focusing on on um being in solidarity, I think, especially with our coreligionists when they're under attack. As you said, in the land where Christ walked, um the birthplace of our faith, um what could be more important that than that? Um Someone's ambitions for 2028? Maybe some donors who are angling for something in the It's certainly, by the way, not even in the interests of the current administration, which has been outspokenly increasingly outspoken, by the way, against Israeli aggressions. We have Trump directly to crying Netanyahu's use of arms in Lebanon, uh where their uh their offensive is explicitly modeled after their Gaza offensives. And this is evil. But right now, the messaging of Muslims El Sayed, you can oppose the guy's candidacy for a numerous reasons. But he said inshallah, so he's a that's actually code for I'm declaring war on Western civilization. I have a coworker, by the way, who's a Lebanese Christian, Lebanese-American. She used to say "Inshallah." It's a It's It's like saying, "How are you?" I mean, it's so common in their language throughout the Arabic world. One person, um, by the way, who works for VPP, uh, is a Christian. He's a He's an expat from Gaza. He said, "I say 'Inshallah' like 20 times a day." >> Do you know what it means literally? Do you know what the English translation from the Arabic means? >> God willing, roughly. >> Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. That's God willing. And as a Christian, I there's kind of no sentiment I endorse more than that. That's not in conflict with my faith. It's It's an expression of my faith. So, >> Yeah. >> Yeah, exactly right. As he said already, a Lebanese Christian says "Inshallah." This is what all of those enemies of Islam in America, those English-speaking guys, simply don't understand. There are actually other languages out there, guys. Allah is the devil. Allah is the deceiver. Allah is the moon god. Arabic Christians say Allah. And therefore, they say "Inshallah" as well, because it simply means God willing. You don't have to like Islam, but at least be cosmopolitan enough in order to understand that Allah simply means the god in Arabic. So, therefore, Arabic Christians, Arabic Jews, everybody understands that Allah is God, nothing else. Anyways, this is it for today's video, guys. I'm going to cut it off here. Mashallah, Tucker Carlson, and Inshallah, you will be Muslim one day. All right, guys. If you enjoyed the video, as always, leave me a thumbs up. Subscribe to the channel if you haven't already.
