Try This Half Column Panel Fold Card | NO DIES NEEDED!

So, I already went ahead and decorated the envelope. So, I've added the wax seal there. This is all part of my happy mail uh kit that I have. I've got the postage or faux franking stamps there. And then I've got those old postal stamps I've stuck down. I tried to get ones that were going to match the colors that I've used in the card. So, that's all ready to go. Now, I've already gone ahead and stamped and cut out the beautiful, very cute little snowman here. So, I'm going to drop in a just a high-speed little clip of me coloring him in. And then if you want, you can cut out. So you've got a little white border. I decided to cut him right up to the black outline. I just thought I'd try something a little bit different. And I'm going to sit him on top of this panel for the front of the card, which I'll show you in a moment. You want to cut yourself a piece of 10. It's actually just under. Just bring it under a little bit. 10 by 8 and a quarter. And then along that 10 inch side, you're going to score at four, five and a half, seven, and 8 and 1/2. Now, by just coming in a little bit under the 10 in there, if you fold and burnish all of these, what's going to happen is the last one is going to be stuck onto the bottom here, like so. That's how it's going to look. So, you're going to fold. So, you want to have two of those. one and a half inch panels on the top and two underneath. This one we're going to add our glue to and stick down. But by taking a little bit off, it means that you'll be able to line up completely flat. Okay, I'm going to use the construction glue. Now, if you want, you may want to add your pattern paper to cover the whole of this panel, but that is going to go over. So, you're just going to waste it. But do that if you, you know, if you are, do that now before you stick this down. So, you're just adding the glue just to the the last panel there. that outer one. And like I said, fold it over so you got two facing you. And then you're going to fold that right over like so. So now you can bring that all up. And I would just check that it stands and you've got it nice and flush with the bottom. If you're using a liquid glue, you've still got some time to move it around. But that is how the card is going to be displayed. So now I'm going to decorate with all the pattern papers. So I've pulled out an old paper pad of mine. It's only a puppet paper pad. This is about 2 years old, but it's got some really lovely pattern papers here. And they the colors work really well with how I've colored him in. So, I've got this piece here, which is going to go in that one. And then I've got these three pieces which are going to go on each side. So, for this one, if you want to do a mat and a layer, you're going to want a piece of 2 and 1/4 by [clears throat] 8 and then 2 by 7 and 3/4. And then you'll want three pieces of 1 and a/4 by 8 and then 1 by 7 and 3/4. So I'm going to get those three stuck down there and stick that one down there. So that's all my panels stuck down. You could also have this card as a landscape orientation. You could maybe have some things built up and have it this way so it folds down. You could have it fold out that way and just pop it into a what be more like a 6 by8 envelope. So you could easily play around with this. And then I've cut this piece which is 2 and 12 by 6 and 3/4. It can be kind of any size in terms of the height that you want. You want to keep it that width because I've designed it so that when it sticks on here, when it closes, it runs flush with the side of the card. So it's all going to fit in your envelope. But again, if you don't mind making bigger envelopes, then you can certainly play around with this. Now, I think this would also look nice embossed with then your image on the top. but because I wanted to stamp the sentiment. So that comes in the set. You got winter greetings and warm and cozy and you got these little stars as well. But I just thought it looked really nice having that stamped directly onto it. So I popped some foam onto the back of him. I'm just going to stick that down. And because my foam's quite thick, you get a really nice drop shadow behind. So he does really pop even though that's a dark card stock. And then I'm going to stick this one right up to the side here. Now, you could have it right up in the corner. You could have it down in this corner. Maybe have some other bits up there. It's entirely up to you. So, I'm going to run my glue within about 3/4 of an inch of this left side. And that way, I know it's not going to come out onto this area. Now, fold it down flat. And then sit this up to the fold on the left. So, this one here. And then I'm just looking at the top and the bottom there. And then once you're happy it's all secure, just bring it back the other way just to make sure it's, you know, definitely stuck down. There is the finished card. I think it's very cute. What I'm now going to do is add some little stars. I've got these tiny little gold stars again just from my stash. I'm just going to There's some little circles there as well. I'm just going to add a few. I might do like kind of going down that way. Maybe a few down on the left and then in the top right there. Okay. So, just let them dry. And then, of course, I have to add some glaze. So, this is just some paper glaze. And I'm going to add it to definitely to the carrot. So, his nose and the heart and probably his eyes as well. And there is the finished card. So, if I just bring it up closer, hopefully you can see the stars sparkling and the glaze on there. We go on the scarf, on the carrot, the heart, and also on the little bow just there. And it stands up. Bring it back here so you can see. Lovely. And there is the matching envelope.
