Video summary
The video opens by challenging sales professionals who adopt a passive "fisherman" mindset, urging them instead to become aggressive hunters ready to solve big problems immediately upon waking up. The speaker argues that many people remain broke and unrespected because they do not take their own lives seriously enough; waiting for opportunities is portrayed as a recipe for failure rather than success. To change this trajectory, the presenter emphasizes that true sales mastery requires extreme confidence, unwavering belief in one's ability to close any deal anywhere, and a genuine desire to improve people's lives through high-quality products. The core message is immediate: if you are not willing to radically transform your current reality today, no external help can save you from mediocrity.
The first practical step outlined for tripling income within thirty days is the rigorous auditing of one's time and daily habits. The speaker illustrates his own disciplined routine, waking at 4 a.m., hitting the gym by 5:00 a.m., and holding team meetings promptly thereafter to demonstrate that respecting your schedule forces others to respect you as well. He warns against the illusion of working late hours without purpose, suggesting that many people waste four or five hours simply sitting around while their families suffer from neglect. The advice extends to raising personal standards so strictly that one would never want their children to emulate any current bad habits, effectively breaking generational curses by choosing better behaviors immediately rather than waiting for a future change.
To scale income and business impact, the transcript advocates shifting focus from time-intensive services like expensive one-on-one coaching sessions to scalable digital training systems or products with lifetime access. The speaker uses his own evolution from selling high-ticket personal calls to creating affordable online courses as an example of how increasing scalability allows for reaching hundreds of thousands of people simultaneously without being tied up in endless Zoom meetings. Furthermore, the video stresses the critical importance of follow-up and asking for referrals daily; it notes that salespeople often lose deals not because prospects don't want them, but simply because they are out of reach or haven't been contacted again after an initial interaction. The speaker shares his personal story of starting with nothing in a car dealership at eighteen, where he made money by shaking hands and sitting visibly outside the entrance to ensure no customer was ignored, proving that visibility and relentless pursuit drive results more than popularity does.
Finally, success is defined as executing tasks at an uncomfortable level until those discomforts become addictive habits similar to how athletes crave muscle soreness after intense training. The speaker draws a parallel between marriage and sales, noting that both require enduring difficulties without expecting constant ease or rainbows; once you accept the struggle, it becomes something you love because of what it builds in your character. He encourages viewers to ignore naysayers who claim certain income levels are impossible for their industry, asserting that belief is the only barrier between current reality and future potential. The conclusion reinforces that sales skills are not just about making money but about becoming a better person through discipline, hard work, and an unshakeable commitment to excellence in every interaction.

GREAT SALESPEOPLE. DON'T WAIT. YOU'RE A
fisherman sitting on your waiting for
something to bite. You're a fisherman.
>> I'm just gonna wait for the bobber to go
under.
>> You're broke, dude. You'd rather be
broke and look cool than actually get
great, build a real life one day and
actually make that $1,500 car part of
your story. You guys in here, the reason
why you're getting ran over, the reason
why you get punked out, the reason why
no one takes you serious is cuz you
don't take your own freaking life
serious. Some of you in here, you're not
going to do anything except for what you
want to do. The life you have now is
what you're [music] currently doing. You
don't want that life, you better listen
to me. I want to know who in here can
[music] change everything. That's what I
want to know. Who can change everything?
Because I did. And I'm going to tell you
how everything's going to add up and how
this room in here today [music] could be
the day that literally starts a brand
new life for every one of you in here.
>> Every salesman in the room, what is
this?
>> It's a magician wand. And I can get you
to do whatever I want you to do with
this thing in my hand right here. I can
move it around. I can guide you over
here. I can move you here. I can do
anything I want. Every single one of
you, I'm going to tell you this. Your
confidence is going to have to go to an
extreme level. If you're going to be in
sales, you're going to have to get
extreme. Your eye contact, your
believability, how you feel about
yourself, what you think's going to
happen, caring about other people, all
of it's got to go to here right now. If
it doesn't, I'm telling you, there's
some person inside you that wants to
make money, but you don't want to
change. Get out of here. No one can help
you. No one can help you. These 10
things I want to cover. How to triple
your income in 30 days. And I'm going
straight into sales. Every single one of
these I want you to look at and I want
you to look at yourself. Do not look at
your wife. Don't look at your team.
Look, if you can fix you, you can fix
everyone else. Is that the game?
>> Listen to me. I am the greatest salesman
in the world. I don't care what you say.
I will close anyone, anytime, any place.
I'm like Alcatraz. I've said this for a
long time. No one escapes me. If I want
something, I get it. Not in a bad way. I
guess I could be a bad person. I can
manipulate people. But I've always
wanted to sell a good product. I sell a
product now that changes people's lives.
So, I've never been more excited to sell
than what I sell right now. Because if
someone will plug into one of my
training systems, if they'll spend the
money, they're trading their money for
the results that they'll never get if
they don't spend their money with me.
So, I have to explain to them that
they're worth it. I have to give them
belief that I know they don't have. And
I have to paint a picture and a vision
of their future that's greater than the
one they currently see for themselves.
Does that make sense? All right. Number
one, audit your time. Every one of you
are screwed right here. Audit your time,
brother. You know what I mean? Write out
your day right now. Write it out. Hey
guys, every day I see in the comment
section that people are like, "Andy, how
can I train with you? How can I get
close to you? I'm a sales leader. I'm in
sales. I'm an entrepreneur. I'm a
business owner." Listen, if you want to
coach with me, I want to help you. Look,
there's a link below on this YouTube
video. If you just go down below,
there's a link in this YouTube video.
And basically, if you click on it, all I
ask for is your name and your phone
number, and it says, "What do you want
to learn from me?" And by the way, it
gives me permission to reach out to you.
If you'll fill that out, I will
personally reach out to you and we will
make a game plan. Now, listen, I want to
say it one more time. Let's get back to
the video. If you've been watching my
content, if you want a breakthrough, if
you want to change your life, you want
to go to another level, whether you're
broke and you're trying to look for the
breakthrough or you're at the top of
your game and you operate from the state
of madness like me and you're just a
psycho for learning, I am that coach
that wants to push you hard. And so, if
you're ready for a breakthrough this
year, go down, click on that link, fill
out the information. It gives me
permission to reach out to you. We're in
a new era, right? And I always laugh at
it and I say, "Man, you give me the
right to push you. I promise you this
coach is going to change your life." So,
go click on that link. I love you guys.
I'll reach out to you myself. Fill out
your information. Do it right now. And
then let's get back to the video. 4:00
a.m. I wake up. Write down yours. 5:00
a.m. I start the gym. Everybody knows
what time we enter the gym. I walk in
the gym at 5:00 a.m. I look up. It's
4:59. I look over and I see the people
that promised they would be there at
5:00 a.m. I see a guy walking at 5:01.
I'm like, I would hate to be that guy.
No, I'm serious. No, I'm out. I don't
care. You take care of your time, you'll
always be on time. Listen to me. If you
don't respect your time, no one will
respect your time. You guys in here, the
reason why you're getting ran over, the
reason why you're getting punked out,
the reason why no one takes you serious
is because you don't take your own
freaking life serious. You got to
remember this. When you don't take your
life serious, you're just a feather
blowing around in the wind. Dude, nobody
wants to roll with you. They can't count
on you. So 4:00 a.m. I wake up at 7:30
at the gym. I roll out. By the way,
who's with me in the gym from 5:00 to
7:30? My team
and my family every morning. Some of you
in here right now, you think your kids
are little and you're like, "Oh, they're
little. They don't do that thing." What?
What thing? The standard thing. When are
your kids too young to learn standards?
Don't even give me that. If you got
children in here, start them at 3:00. I
don't care. Don't give me that freaking
crap, dude. At 7:30, we're in the
meeting by 8:15. Now, me and Jackie work
from Mexico a lot. Everybody say prison.
>> Say empire.
>> Empire.
>> Jacqueline talked about yesterday about
building an empire. If you're a business
owner in this room and you can't walk
out of your business for at least 90
days and no and check on no one, you
don't own an empire. You don't own your
business. You're an operator in a
prison. And you know why you are?
Because you haven't you haven't you
haven't developed anybody. Maybe you
haven't developed yourself. Maybe some
of you in here like, "I need to train my
people." No, you need to get better,
idiot. You need to get better. You're
the standard setter. You're the one they
look at. You're the one they freaking
see. That's why I work on myself every
freaking day because my goal is to clone
me. And we have cloned ourselves in the
Elliot group. Denny, what is your
belief? The same belief that I have.
You're a different character than me,
but it's the same alignment, same
belief, same standards, same values. And
how often do we talk about it? Every
freaking second of every freaking day.
If I'm not here, do I need to be here?
If I die today, is the Elliott group
screwed? Not at all. There's a hundred
of them running around here. All is
good. I We pretend that Andy and
Jacqueline died. That your company
should pretend that you're dead. But if
you've built a prison, like Jackie said,
you're the one that everybody's got to
go talk to about decisions and answers
and this and you're in the middle of
everything. You're not letting people
make mistakes, you're not developing,
you're not growing, man, you're screwed.
8:15, our team has a meeting. Now,
between this time and whatever time you
have here, we're going to call this
work. Now, 4:00, 5:00, and a lot of you
guys right here, you're like, Andy, I
work till late in the night.
If there's 60 minutes in an hour, I
would really look at how you're spending
all 60 minutes in that hour. Some of you
in here, you're like, I have to work
late. Because you don't appreciate time.
Listen, you know what I'd love to do?
You tell your wife, I got to work late.
I really would like her to come to work
with you and just sit there and and
document every minute of every day to
make sure that you're really working
every minute. And I promise you, you
wasted four and a half hours. There are
60 minutes in an hour. Listen, this is
why you guys got to understand this.
This is a discipline game. Every one of
you in here can totally fix and change
your life today. It's not just a skill.
It's everything we're going to cover. I
want to know who in here can change
everything. [clears throat] That's what
I want to know. Who can change
everything? Because I did. And I'm going
to tell you how everything's going to
add up and how this room in here today
could be the day that literally starts a
brand new life for every one of you in
here. That's what I sat in that damn
chair for. That's why I paid the first
$20,000 for a chair. I sat there. I
spent 20 grand to get in a room. I'm
showing up. I'm paying attention.
Everything that person says I'm going to
do. Some of you in here, you're not
going to do anything except for what you
want to do. The life you have now is
what you're currently doing. You don't
want that life. You better listen to me.
Anyways, the night, this is my family
time here. All right. You want to make
more money? You want to triple your
income. Number one, audit your time.
Audit your freaking time. There's 60
minutes in an hour. How you spend 60
minutes in that hour is what matters.
Your family's not getting time with you
because you're not really working and
you're pissing away a ton of time. All
right? You got to talk to more people.
That's it. Listen to me. If you want to
make more money, you got to talk to more
people. Am I right? Welcome to the game
of sales. Some of you guys in here are
not on the phone all day long. Why? You
don't have someone in front of you all
day long. Why? Why are you at work? Why?
What are you doing? OH, I'M WAITING.
GREAT SALESPEOPLE. DON'T WAIT. YOU'RE A
fisherman sitting on your waiting for
something to bite. You're a fisherman.
>> I'm just going to wait for the bobber to
go under.
>> You're broke, dude. I'm a hunter. See
this spear? I wake up every morning. I
come out ready to kill. I'm like, I got
to kill something today. I got to kill
something. I'm going to kill a big bear.
I'm going to kill something big cuz I'm
going to solve a big problem. And some
of you like, oh, he's trying to make a
lot of money. It ain't my fault. I
choose to solve big problems. When you
change someone's life, that's a pretty
freaking priceless problem. That's why I
changed lives. I've decided to go for
the greatest asset that was ever made in
the world, a freaking real human.
They're like, I help people make money.
I'm like, cool. That's this much
compared to changing someone's life. And
that's why our company has evolved so
fast. We're like, screw sales training.
That's just a portion of what we do.
Talk to more people. Number three,
increase your skill. You got to get
better. You got to get better. You got
to become the best. Whatever you do,
don't ever let anyone do it better than
you. Ever. Whatever you do, whatever you
do, do one thing. One thing, guys.
If you're doing four things, forget all.
Do one. Which one makes you the most
money? Which one has the highest scale?
Which one do you enjoy doing the most?
Listen to what I said. Which one do you
enjoy doing the most? Because if another
one makes you more money, but you don't
love doing it in three years, you're
going to be burned out.
Choose the one that you love doing.
Choose the one that makes the most
money. And choose the one that has the
highest scale. What does that mean?
That's most scalable.
Okay, if I sell a training system,
imagine this. If I sell Andy Elliott's
going to sell his one-on-one time for
$50,000,
do I have a certain hour amount of hours
in a day? Yes or no?
>> If my team went in here and that was the
product we sold and they're like, "Okay,
you're in for an hour. You're in for an
hour. You're in for an hour. You're in
for an hour. You're in for an hour.
You're in for There's There's a day."
Well, we made a bunch of money, but
there goes a day, there goes two days.
There goes three. There goes four. There
goes five. There goes six. There goes
seven. There goes eight. There's go
nine. And then we look up and literally
we're 20 days in. We've sold out half
the year. They don't have anything else
to sell. What if And then now they're
like, "Oh, you want to train a
one-on-one with Andy? He'll coach you.
It's going to be $50,000 and he'll be
able to coach you next year in January.
That's I don't want that.
>> It's not scalable.
If I create a training system that's
$5,000, isn't that way better than
50,000?" Yeah. Some people want
proximity, but a lot of people just want
to know what you know because they want
to learn it. $5,000. It's a lifetime
access. You can train on it as much as
you want. and you train on it in the
morning, the middle of the night, in the
middle of the day. You don't have to be
on a Zoom call with Andy at 2 o'clock.
You can literally wake up at 2 am, you
can't sleep. You can dive into the
program for an hour and a half and you
can learn. How cool is that? Andy can
have it for the rest of your life. And
when the Zoom call is over, the Zoom
calls over. But these training systems,
you can log in and watch the same video
100 times till you master it. Is that
cool? Okay, we'll take it. How many of
those can I sell? As many as I want. We
have hundreds of thousands of people on
that training system, and I love it. Is
that Zoom call the same as recording it
and loading it into a system? Yes.
Yes. You just don't have to meet me at 2
o'clock on Tuesday. You can log in
whenever you want. It's the same
information. Does that make sense? Some
of you in here right now, you're just
inches away from an idea in your company
that will change everything. But you're
going to have to change. You're going to
have to change in this room. So, you got
to increase your skill level, increase
your offer uh to the marketplace, the
value of your offer. Also, listen, if I
can change somebody's life, what's that
worth? If you if you give me 20 grand
and your life will change, you guys
would give me $2 million if I could
change your life. First of all, I could
change your life right now. You're like,
I don't have 2 million. I can't get two
million. Well, first of all, when you
change your life, you start to realize
you can make $2 million really easy.
You've just always believed you
couldn't. That's the reason why you
could never get it. which goes back to
yesterday as explaining if you think
that your future's dark, not going to be
good, it doesn't look right, things
aren't going to come your way, you're
exactly right. You have created your
future in your mind and that's why
that's your future. But if you think
your future is going to be unbelievable,
if you think you're going to change
hundreds of millions of people's lives,
if you think people are going to look up
to you, if you think you're going to be
ripped, shredded, jacked in the best
shape of your life, wife's going to be
on fire for you, children are going to
be on fire for you, God's going to love
you. He's going to walk you through
every situation. He's going to be there
with you, take care of you. He is. And
it happens
all because that's what you saw in your
mind. So that's the life that you live.
Every one of you, Ian said right here,
your perspect
come in here and you saw everything that
was wrong. Some of you come in here and
you see, I can't believe I get to be in
this room and learn all this right
now.$und00 million chairs. But you
determine what that chair was worth. I
know when I sat in that chair, you know
what I thought it was worth? Priceless.
I'm sitting here where someone has spent
their whole life to learn something and
I've watched them be successful at a
level way higher than me and I'm I'm
seeing them like live differently than I
than I'm living and I want to live that
way. I'm going to shut up and listen and
everything they say. I'm crossexamining
what I'm currently doing in my life. And
I'm like, "This is what they're saying.
This is what I'm doing. I need to change
this. Change this. How fast can I change
this? I can change this right now. Oh, I
can change this in two weeks. It'll take
some time to change this." Okay, this is
what you guys should be thinking right
now. So, follow up like crazy. In this
company, it's not buy or die because we
want you to buy. It's listen to me, the
right message to the right person at the
right time. It's always very simple. I
know that my product will change
someone's life. But sometimes people are
in a place where they got things going
on. Maybe someone's sick in their
family. Look, dude, it's not buy or die.
It's literally just follow up. People
want what they say they want. They just
not by might not be in a position today
to do it. That's totally okay. You guys
know what a year to date is, right? YTD.
A year to date.
>> Yeah.
>> What's the difference between a year to
date? Whether you make the money in
February or you make it in July. Didn't
it still show up on your W2?
>> Doesn't it still show up on the
financial statement at the end of the
year?
>> Why the hell does sales people blow
people out?
Think about it. How many people have you
blown out because they couldn't make a
decision today? Honestly, I was a coward
at one point. I really was. If you would
have sat in this room and told me to go
spend 100 grand with you, I would have
said, "I got to get out of here. This
person's trying to steal from me." You
know why? Because I was a loser. That's
why. And that's the reason why my life
wasn't amazing. I didn't believe in
myself enough. You got to remember,
anytime you self-invest in yourself, you
basically tell yourself you're worth
that much. Some of you guys buy cars
that are 50,000, but you won't spend
50,000 on yourself. You say, "Well, I
didn't have I didn't have money to spend
[snorts] 50,000 on myself." Well, how'd
you get the money for the car? How'd you
get the money for the car? You know what
all you should do in here? Go find the
best thing in the world that you can
spend 50,000 on for your
selfdevelopment, and then literally go
sell your car and drive $1,500 cars.
>> But you won't do that because you don't
look cool no more. You'd rather be broke
and look cool than actually get great,
build a real life one day, and actually
make that $1,500 car part of your story.
>> Remember this, some of you, the reason
why you'll never have an inspiring story
is because you never went for it. Ask
for referrals every day. Anytime that
you help somebody, just be like, I know
there's two or three people that I can
help just like you. I know there's two
or three people that are just like you
that you know that are friends just like
yours that would love to get the same
kind of service that I gave you today.
Maybe one. I don't know. You think they
could give you one? You don't ask. You
know why you don't ask? Because you're
not a professional. You're an amateur
still.
Andy, I didn't know. You're telling me
you never knew to ask for referrals.
Anyone in this room has heard ask for
referrals. Am I right? Could you imagine
at the end of your life not being where
you want to be because you were scared?
What are you scared of? What What are
you scared of?
Nothing. You just wasted your damn life.
Listen to me. Every one of you in here,
these 10 things will triple your income
in in in 30 days. Number seven, raise
your standards. Anything right now that
you're doing in your life that is lower
than the standard that you would want to
teach to your own son or daughter, you
need to fix it right now. Moms and dads,
if you're doing anything right now in
your life that you don't want your
daughters or your sons or your bloodline
to adapt or other people even that are
around you or your wife or your husband,
get rid of it now. Listen to me. Over my
dead body, am I going to be the one that
curses my family? Yeah, my family cursed
me. And I'm telling you, I'm not cursing
anyone else. I broke the curse. So,
listen. Don't give me that freaking
crap. Can every one of you make that
decision to do this? Yes or no? You can
make the decision, but it's a choice.
>> It's like it's a choice to believe in
God or not. It's a choice,
>> and the choice is yours. I wouldn't go
to bed tonight without writing my
standards down and changing everything
that I need to change immediately. And
and and write this down. Never change
back. All right. Obsess. Obsess over
one. Everybody say one.
>> One KPI. So, I know there's a lot of
things that make money. There's talking
to more people. There's setting
appointments. There's making
presentations and offers and then
there's closing deals. There's phones
and then there's face to face. There's
one KPI that can change your whole
business. One one thing that can change
everything. And that one thing, if you
can figure out what it is, your whole
company, your business will grow through
the roof. Your sales will grow through
the roof. You know what the Elliott
groups is? Appointments. It's very
simple. The more appointments we set,
the more lives we change.
>> That's it. Luke, you were in solar
forever.
If you didn't have appointments on the
book, you knew you weren't going to make
money. Am I right?
>> That's right.
>> That's it. It wasn't how many doors you
knocked on. It was how many appointments
you set.
>> That's all it was. It always came back
to appointments. You knew if the day was
loaded with appointments, you were going
to make money that day.
>> But going out, a lot of people like, you
got to knock as many doors as you can.
No, you got to set as many appointments
as possible.
That's the KPI that you need to focus on
because if we can get that appointment,
we look, everyone in here should know
where you close. You should know we
close at 70%. Okay, cool. 10
appointments, seven closes. This is what
I pay per deal. Like it's it's like it's
very simple to add the math. You work in
a dealership. How many appointments do
we have for the day? That's the goal,
not how many calls are we making. I can
sit here AND SAY, "HEY, EVERYBODY'S
GOING TO MAKE 150 calls today." No,
you're going to set six appointments. I
need six people to walk into this
showroom for today. That's what I need.
I need six people in the showroom for
today from you. Six people. I want to
see six bodies. I want to see six
appointments. I don't care if you got to
call six or you got to call 600. I need
those six appointments. What's the one
KPI that you need in your company?
Change everything. Become impossible to
ignore. Become impossible to ignore.
Dude, I'm going to tell you this. Be
unforgettable. Get in their face. Get
loud. Mark, get crazy. I know you're
like, "Oh my god, get crazy." People
like that sales guy's crazy. Yeah, he's
got the highest year to date in the
company. He's freaking hungry. I get it.
You want to freaking Are you hungry?
What is inside of you right now? Are you
hungry? Do you want to win? Like, that's
the thing. Become impossible to ignore.
Has anybody ever seen my lawn chair
story when I sold cars?
>> Let me explain this to you. There's two
people in here. When I first started the
car business, I was 18 years old. Look,
I never held more than $5 in my hand my
whole life. Okay? Dad Jerry Springer
show. Married six times, seven times
before I was 18. It was like Jerry
Springer. Mom left our house when she
was two or or when I was two. She left.
She was an alcoholic drug addict. Long
story short, we're raised by kids.
Anybody ever seen somebody raised by
kids?
>> Yeah. Most kids are supposed to be
raised by adults. We were raised by
kids. Dude, kids being raised by kids
are not good kids. Okay. Well, because
you're raised on the street. Well, I was
a street dog. And basically what
happened is we lived on the street.
Hell, in second grade, I didn't come
home from a whole year. I was in the
back of the neighborhood because our
refrigerator didn't have food in it, but
my buddy's house did. So, I just stayed
there. I remember I came home after a
year and my dad's like, "Oh, where you
been?" I'm like, like, no one cared. But
the stepmom cared about her kids, so it
didn't matter because we were his kids.
And anytime a new woman came in the
house, whatever kid she came in with, my
dad was such a pushover that he would
for those kids because he was so he
couldn't stand for anything. Does that
make sense? And so we're like, "All
right, screw it. Let's just go run
around and do what we want." But at 18
years old, I always wanted to find my
way out. Some of you might be in this
room right now and you're thinking, "I
just got to find my way out. That's it.
If I could just get my way out, like if
someone will just show me I got I know
what my life looks like now." Some of
you in here, I don't care how old you
are. You know what your life looks like
now, but you're in here because you're
like, I got to find my way out. I know
I'm [clears throat] not supposed to have
this life right now. I want to do
something else. I wanted to make money.
I was tired of we were poor our whole
life. And I made bad grades in school.
Everyone said I wasn't going to make it.
No one believed in me. My dad said, "Get
a job and stay out of jail." I was
raised around punks my whole life. But
someone gave me a shot on a car lot.
Now, the funny thing about car
dealerships, but the cool thing about
car dealerships is a car dealerships
breeds dogs, which means if you can make
it in a car dealership, you can make it
anywhere in the world. But I showed up
and this was the training. Here's the
pen. Here's a piece of paper. You sell
cars in two weeks, you stay, you don't,
you're gone. It doesn't matter. I don't
want to know your name. Hit the lot. So,
I'm 18 years old and the first day, this
is so crazy. I made $1,800.
I have no idea. I've never had that much
money in my life, dude. My manager goes,
Andy Elliott Sales Tower, he goes, "You
know how much money you just made?" I
was like, "How much?" He's like, "You
just made $1,800." I was like, "Oh my
god."
I was like, "This is my way out." Has
anybody ever had like that clicking
moment?
>> Listen, it clicked when I was 39 years
old and I started this coaching company.
It clicked and it and the only time it
clicked before Oh, and it clicked when I
met Jacqueline. And then it clicked when
I was 18. It clicked. And now when I was
18, I didn't want anything, guys. I
didn't want standards. I didn't want any
of this. You know what I wanted? I want
to make money. It's all I wanted. I
thought if I just made money, man, like
I could get out of this life. And you
know what I did? I will tell you, don't
let anyone ever tell you what it's
what's possible to make in your
industry. Don't ever let anyone tell
you. Listen, guys. I have a coaching
company. It is multi-7 figures a month.
I want to tell you something right now.
I said a month, not a year. I want to
tell you something right now. I know
people that have been in the coaching
space that struggle to make 20 or
$50,000 a month. I'm telling you right
now, don't listen to what anyone tells
you. Don't listen to what anyone tells
you. Don't talk this about God. He's
He's not going to believe you. He hates
everybody. I walk up, God surrenders.
Don't listen. Don't listen. Don't listen
to anyone. Listen to me. This is where
you got to like know who you are and
know what you're capable of. You guys
got to understand that just because
someone else hasn't done it doesn't mean
and by the way those people that didn't
do it they said to themselves they
couldn't do it. You know they did
because they're telling you you they
that they can't do it. Don't listen to
these people. I just want to say become
impossible to ignore 18 years old. I'm
sitting on that car a lot. You guys say
how did I get to a half a million? This
is a 1999. The internet didn't really
exist yet. So what happened is in a car
dealership we had to shake everybody's
hands. Do you guys remember uh
brochures? Do you remember like the
brochures? So, let's say you drove a
Chevy and you were driving like an old
Chevy and you see, oh, there's
[clears throat] a new body style Chevys
just came out cuz you saw one on the
road. You didn't know cuz there was TV.
You might saw a commercial. They say,
"Go into your local dealer and test
drive a new Chevrolet." There was no
internet. You can look up pricing and
all this. We were the horse's mouth. You
came in, you had to come talk to the
salesman. We were ready. So, guess what
happened? We had to talk. Well, the the
thing is is that the KPI of that day
wasn't appointment set. It was hands
shaken. Okay? More hands you shake, more
money you make. So, you know what I did?
I went home and I was like, I have to be
in front of everyone. I went and grabbed
and I went to the gate. You know where
people pull in at the front of the car
dealerships? And I stuck it right there
in the gate and I sat down in it. No.
No. Why? Do you know what war I caused
in my company? Like, do you understand
the veterans that were there for 15
years? We're like, "Okay, hold up.
[snorts] The new 18-year-old has got a
chair sitting in the entrance. Do you
understand how many fights I got in,
black eyes? Do you understand the hell
that I went through? I made it
impossible for me to ignore. I didn't
have any friends in the store. No one
cared about me. But you know what I was
doing? I was going to be the best in
that store. I was going to make the most
money. And I wanted to sell cars. I
wanted to sell cars more than anyone
else wanted to sell cars in that store.
My why was bigger than all of theirs.
These guys had wife and kids and
comfortable lives. And I'm a dog, 18
years old, ready to chew everybody to
pieces. And my manager would tell me
every night, "Your goal is not to be
liked. Your goal is to win and be first
place. These guys can hate you, but
internally they're looking up to you and
they don't have the courage to do what
you're doing. Keep that damn lawn chair
OUT IN THAT GATE. THAT'S IT." And I want
to tell you, that's [applause] the
truth.
But guess what? I had to buy a new lawn
chair every day because because a
customer would pull in and I'd say,
"Hey, how you guys doing?" Sells their
service. Oh, service. Come on over here.
Let me show you. Let me introduce you to
Bob. By the way, I know cars can be
expensive to fix. For some crazy reason,
if Bob shows you what it's going to cost
to fix your car, and you're like, "Man,
I might as well just trade it in. Here's
my card. I'll be right there. Just come
see me. I love you. I got you back for
life." I'd run back up there cuz I'd go
back to the gate. I'm like, "Where the
hell is my lunchroom?"
>> [laughter]
>> They'd break it and throw it in the
creek. Okay. Next day, I bring my lawn
chair back. Dude, listen. I bought every
lawn chair in the world. But that's my
lawn chair story. So, my point is is
that what's your lawn chair story? Think
about this. If a guy worked in the
Elliot Group right now, we have one of
the best brands in the world. We got
more leads than we know what to do with.
All someone would have to do is stay on
the phone all day long and talk to
everybody. Every person's got a story.
Every person wants to change their life.
Every person wants to be better. Am I
right?
>> All they'd have to do is just talk
[laughter] to every one of them. Hey,
what's going on? My name is Denny from
the Elliott Group. So, you've been
watching Andy Elliott online. Not really
sure what you were interested in. If
maybe it was just the entertainment, the
motivation part or you seeing how he's
changed his life, maybe the business
he's built, the way that he runs with
his kids and his family, or it could be
his physical fitness or his love for
God. I'm not really sure what it was,
but can you take maybe two minutes to
walk me through it and then I just love
to meet you. I don't need anything from
you. I just want to meet you. I just
want to say, "Hey, if you don't have
anybody in my company that you're
talking to, Andy would love for me to
have a personal relationship with you,
man. I'd love for you to meet him as
well. Talk to me. Talk talk." He says,
"Well, yeah, there's this thing that I
want to fix." And you're like, "No ways.
We actually got this thing that's coming
up that's going to fix that." Dude, now
you got a deal
phone all day. Just like I had to put
the lawn chair in the lot all day long.
But the problem is is that you make a
lot of friends. And all these other guys
in the car dealership were all buddies.
Hey, what's going on there? What are you
doing? Hey, what are you doing? The
number one rule that I made back then,
and I don't believe that you should do
it now in your companies, but I didn't
make any friends.
I don't believe in that method anymore,
but I want to tell you that's how I made
more money than anyone else because I
stayed productive.
Busy equals broke. A lot of you go into
work and you're really busy. I was
extremely productive because no one
liked me. and it actually played out at
my benefit. Well, I'm gonna tell you
something. That lawn chair when I was 18
years old, teaching me how to sell,
teaching me work ethic. I told you I
don't believe by that methodology
anymore, not being friends with your
team. Okay? But that's how my leader
taught me. So, I was only as good as the
person that I was in front of. I was
talking to you about guys about being
around a good man yesterday. But it
taught me sales. It taught me work
ethic. Those two things. What do you
think the Elliot Group is now, right now
in 2026? When I say we're a hundred
million dollar a year business, what do
you think that we do? We work hard and
we still sell.
The skill you're learning in this room
today is more important than you can
even imagine.
This might be today when you're 18, but
I don't care how old you are. You might
be 56 in this room and you're like,
"Dude, I want to change my life." Cells.
Sales. Sales is everything. The Elliott
Group operates and runs off sales. Yes,
we are good people, but we are very good
at sales. I want you to good at sales
and you become a good person. You might
be that gym guy in the gym that's all
jacked, ripped, and shredded who's
broke. I don't want to be that guy
either.
>> Okay? I want to get it all. I want to
get it all. Lastly, execute at an
uncomfortable level. Execute at an
uncomfortable level. This is extremely
important. I didn't say work as hard as
you can until it doesn't feel good
anymore. Execute at an uncomfortable
level. Listen to me. When you're
training, it actually doesn't start
working until it gets feeling real nasty
and the acid starts coming into the the
muscles. It's just the way it is. It's
just like a job. Listen, if I go in and
I'm calling people, what if I call for
two hours and I don't get a hold of
somebody? Is that fun?
>> No.
>> Okay. But who can still be motivated at
4 p.m. to keep dialing if they haven't
got a hold of anybody?
>> That's that's the thing. Listen to me.
Know that it's going to be uncomfortable
and be okay with it.
>> Guys, listen. I want to tell every
single one of you being married is hard.
>> It is.
>> I love my wife to death. It is the
number one most proudest thing that I
have in my life because it is hard. If
if being married was easy, I honestly
don't think I'd appreciate it. I don't
think Jacqueline would be the thing that
I talk about all the time. It is the
hardest thing ever because when you live
with someone for 20 years, you have to
work out everything. You know how many
different people I've became? She's be
things that have come up we've had to
work through. You know, like I mean
honestly like humans are crazy and
you're going to run with someone for
that long. Being married is hard and
staying in love is really hard through
20 years. You know what I've learned?
The fact that me and Jacqueline has
became okay with being extremely
uncomfortable together. We have fallen
more in love with it because at least we
know what to expect. We know it's not
going to feel like rainbows and and
stuff, but it feels like rainbows
because we know what it feels like. It's
almost like you become this sick,
twisted way. Anybody in the gym, you
ever train and it feels nasty, but you
love it.
>> If it was the first couple weeks, you
would be like, "Oh, I'm getting out of
here. I'm going to be sore." After a
while, you're like, "God, I crave being
sore." It's like the thing that you hate
that's uncomfortable ends up being the
thing that you love. You feel me?
>> Like love what you hate until it becomes
a sickness that you love it so much.
>> You must develop a sickness.
The rest of the world is going to look
at it like a sickness. I
Okay, so these 10 things, if you want to
triple your income in 30 days, this is
it right here. This is it. It's done.
