What do you feel is missing from some of
these at bats lately?
>> The hits. It' be nice to get a few um to
find the outfield grass. Um but that's
baseball sometimes.
>> Double was that um tough play. Is that
one you thought you could have had or is
that just off off the bat? Is it is it
double what do you think?
>> Off the bat I thought I had a pretty
good chance at it. Um as I was going
back it kind of just kept going. Um,
[clears throat]
so ended up just playing it off the wall
and getting it in as quick as I could.
>> How are you feeling at the plate right
now?
>> Good. Better. Yeah. Um,
went through a little little bit of a
scuffle, which happens. It's es and
flows of baseball. Um, but it's it's not
about going through those. You know,
you're going to go through them. Um,
it's about how you respond to them for
me and um, learning from them. Um, and I
think I've done a pretty good job
keeping my uh keeping a good head on my
shoulders throughout.
>> You guys throwing in some new pieces at
the deadline here. What do you think
this lineup is capable of when you get
going?
>> I mean,
I think we're really good. Um,
we've been really good two out of the
past three years and this year has been
a little bit of ups and downs, but um,
like I said, that's baseball comes with
it. Um, but we have the right right guys
in this clubhouse to um really steer
everybody straight. Um, I mean that's
the special thing about this place when
you have uh Judgy and G and Goldie, all
that experience um to keep everybody
keep everybody's perspective in line um
um and know how to get through those
those harder times. Um, I think that's
what pays dividends, um, and ends up
getting those big wins late.
