Video summary
The speaker begins by sharing their trade results for August 2026, noting that despite a challenging start where the portfolio began in the red during the first week, they managed to slowly climb back up to barely achieve a green month. However, the overall performance was not sufficient to cover bills, marking it as a tough period. The transcript includes a standard risk disclosure stating that the creator is not a financial adviser and that option trading involves significant risks. The monthly results were heavily influenced by specific strategies, particularly zero DTE trades involving British Iron Condors, directional day trading, and various options selling positions across different assets like Time Fly, Transformers, DC Time Machines, and Mahomes.
The first week was particularly difficult, characterized as a "red week" where the speaker took a substantial loss on time fly options selling, resulting in a net negative of roughly 5,100 when combined with losses from directional day trading and other positions. In contrast, the second week showed significant improvement, with British Iron Condors generating a profit of 10,000 despite one minor losing day, while options selling yielded mixed but generally positive results across different asset classes. The third week continued this upward trend with strong performance from British Iron Condors which added nearly 9,000 to the portfolio, alongside profits from an OPEX calendar spread, although there were still small losses in specific transformer trades that kept the momentum from being perfectly linear.
The final stretch of the month saw some volatility, with the fourth week turning slightly red due to losses on Mahomes and DC Time Machines, though directional day trading managed to add 1,800. The very last day of August ended with a small loss of 2,800, which contributed to the overall struggle for the month. Looking ahead, the speaker plans to launch a new class next month focused on hedging iron condors and intends to discuss a new transformer spread strategy they have been developing. They conclude by hoping that September will be more successful than August and invite viewers to join them next month as they aim to return to profitability.

Hey everyone, August is in the books.
So, going to share my trade results for
August 2026. Quick risk disclosure,
we're not financial adviserss or broker
dealers. Uh, investing in option trading
involves risk. Pre, please read the full
disclosure on our website. Uh, all
right. So, similar to July,
um, started off in a hole. You can see
just by the visual kind of the first
week was a little rough and then I just
kind of kept climbing, climbing,
climbing and barely got out. Literally
just eaked out a uh a green month. So
not enough to pay the bills really. Uh
so it's kind of a tough month, but let's
go through these. I'll go through it uh
each week at a time here. Starting with
week one, the red week. Uh on zero DTE,
that's made up of my British iron
condors. Uh so you can see um a
basically a scratch minus 251 the first
week on those directional day trading
minus 2400. Option selling I took a a
bigger loss than I like to on a time
fly. So one winner one loser but the
loser was big. So - 5100 on that on
those two. Uh and then transformers made
up of 2100 on a 1D one on 1DTE minus
2300 on DC time machines and - 4640 on
Momes.
So that was week one. Week two was
better. Uh British Iron Condors all
green except for one little scratch red
day. So plus 10K on those that week. Uh
options selling one time fly for 1150.
uh transformers that was made up of 840
on a couple 1DTE, 255 on a couple
Mahomes, and minus 280 on three
different DC time machines. Just a two
small winners and a loser.
Uh and then directional day trades,
pretty flat that week. Uh week three,
another good week. Uh British Iron
Condors performed really well. All green
plus 8,800 on those.
uh had a uh OPEX calendar that was good
for 5,144.
Transformers a little bit red mome small
green one DTE small green DC time
machine uh just one trade for minus
1100.
So that's week three. Week four, a
little bit red. Uh directional day
trading plus 1,800
option selling that was good for uh one
time fly. Uh transformers, a little bit
red one DTE green trade, a bullish VRR.
Uh couple another couple little trades
on DC Time Machines, small red and
Mahomes, small red. And then today, last
day of the month,
um just one uh DC time machine closed
for small profit, small scratch on
directional day trades, and then the
zero DTE, small green on British Iron
Condor, and then my last day of the
month, Rick minus 2,800. So, uh kind of
a tough month, but is what it is. Um, I
will be doing a new class uh next month
on the hedge to iron condor. So, I will
be reporting on that. Also got another
transformer spread that I'm that I've
been working on uh that I'll start
talking about as well. So, that is my
August. Hope everybody else had a better
August than I. I guess green is better
than red, but uh would like to see
better. So, let's see if September can
uh can pull it around and get back on
the uh on the on the good side. All
right, all that's it for now. Take care.
Talk to you next month.
