He also played at the World Cup with Japan scored there as well. He's a player who's been linked with Everton quite a few times already this summer. He can play left wing, left wing, back, left back, right wing. So he's a versatile player, very very hardworking player and the Stad Ren president Jean Pierre Ka has said in an interview that players could be sold to help their financial situation and Everton are tracking other wingers as it as it happens because obviously a deal for Jack Gish hasn't been done yet. Evan hopefully can get that done but if there is no deal agreed for Greish Evan are looking at alternatives and it is thought that Nakamura is one who is under consideration. So again that story has uh been brought back into the limelight through the French media saying that Everton are keeping tabs on him. So we'll wait and see. And another player who's been discussed many times this summer and probably will do until the window shuts, unless he's gone somewhere, is Chelsea striker Liam Dilap. He is back in the news today. Everton are the favorites apparently to clinch the lap signature. Um Everton were obviously it was between Everton and Chelsea last summer when he was leaving town. He opted to go to Chelsea. I think a lot of us knew it was the wrong move for him. A year later we've been proven right. He had a poor season but Chelsea didn't get any kind of run or gains. Only scored one Premier League goal last season and was generally below par. He looked quite sharp at it which um he is surplus to requirements now at Stamford Bridge alongside Nicholas Jackson who I know a lot of would like to see but his price tag of 65 million is far too prohibitive for Everton this summer. But the lap is one who possibly could get on loan with an obligation to buy. But some of the some of the sort of fees being quoted for the lap at the moment 40 million ever not paying anywhere near that for Liam the lap but it is the story that is doing the rounds today that Everton are the favorites to take him to Hill Dickinson Stadium. what that would mean for Ti Barry and Betto, we don't know. But um you know, Everton could get him on loan maybe for the season and he comes in and competes with those two. I personally think Ev need another striker this summer to go with the two we've already got. Also linked with Troy Parrot as well. They seem to be the two that are most likely according to the media and people in the media. Whether Everton do any any striker this summer, I don't know. But it's the lap today. Back in the headlines, Prime Minister Andy Bham um was given an interview and referenced Everton needing to bring in a right back this summer. He said, "God bless Jake can't play there again. He was also championing Jack Reis going back to the football club as well." So I thought it was, you know, it is quite funny, isn't it, in a way that we've got the prime minister banging the drum for a right back as well. I think everyoneian wants to see one brought in the club. Sort of working on deals to bring some in. But um quite interesting that Andy Bonham decided to put his weight behind it as well. I think it'd be brilliant for the football club. You know, we've just been talking about Nakamura right at the top of this sort of daily news. I think it would do everything in the world of good to have a Japanese player in the squad.
