Toffees Linked To Fastest Player In The Bundesliga! | Everton News Daily
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
Everton's Under-21 team suffered a heavy 6-3 defeat to Stockport County last night, a result that has reignited serious questions regarding the future of striker Brian Graham. Despite scoring two goals and providing an assist in a game where his team fought back from a three-goal deficit, Graham remains described as very slight and physically small. The match highlighted the significant gap between Under-21 players facing a decent opposition and the physical demands of the Premier League, which is considered one of the toughest leagues in the world. Consequently, management will need to carefully decide how to handle his development, balancing his potential growth against the reality that he may not yet be ready for top-flight football.
The transfer window discussion also turned to the futures of other young talents like Liam Delap and Nicolas Jackson, who are currently training separately from Chelsea's main squad in what is effectively a bomb squad setup. While Delap has been linked with a price tag of 50 million pounds, such valuations are unlikely to hold indefinitely, suggesting that any move for him would likely need to be structured as a loan deal. Conversely, Nicolas Jackson is viewed as a player who could fit well at Everton, but his current club's lack of interest means the Toffees may have to wait until deadline day to pursue him, especially given hints from Baz regarding potential business moves.
Looking ahead to the upcoming transfer window, Everton has been linked with several high-profile targets, including Frank Fiet, a 21-year-old winger touted as the fastest player in the Bundesliga who recorded three goals and four assists last season. The club is also reportedly interested in Hector Fort, a right-back from Barcelona, and Zeki Amdouni, a striker from Burnley who scored 11 Premier League goals previously. However, these pursuits are heavily contingent on the departure of current striker Beto; the club aims to avoid being left with only one forward but does not wish to carry three strikers simultaneously, meaning any new signing would likely need to be ready to join immediately if a replacement deal is finalized.
As the deadline day approaches, the situation is expected to become increasingly intense for Everton and many other Premier League clubs over the next few weeks. While the first team will play Crystal Palace with their current squad, there are indications that the club is already in talks and lining up potential moves, though public announcements may not occur until late next week. Fans are also encouraged to support the charity match at Hill Dickinson on September 26th, featuring legends like Cafu and Jaap Stam, where purchasing a pint an hour before kickoff helps raise funds for the 1878s charity. With season ticket holders eligible for discounts on this special event, the club is looking to build atmosphere while navigating the critical final days of the transfer window.

Welcome to Toffee TV. It is the Everton
news daily. Everton on the 21s lost last
night to Stockport 6-3.
And um
yeah, a very, very interesting game of
football. Stockport Stockport were 3-0
up
before the under 21s brought it back to
3-3 and then Stockport went on and won
it 6-3. Brian Graham managed to get
himself a couple of goals and an assist.
Which again
leaves questions of
how his future will look this season. Um
the assist was fantastic just knocking
the ball back um when going through and
his finish for the third one was was
super lime as well. So
there's uh obviously questions of how
Everton are going to deal with the with
the player now. Um he still is very,
very slight.
And again, if anyone
if anyone, you know, you hear this a lot
about why don't they bring players
through from the under 21s or why
isn't this player getting a
crack of the whip in the Premier League?
Well,
I think this game sort of shows you the
gulf between
under 21 players in general,
you know, playing against a good
Stockport team. You know, the Premier
League is one of the hardest leagues in
the world. This I think it probably is
the hardest. It means the best, but it's
certainly the hardest league in the
world
physically.
And Brian Graham Brian Graham is only
slight really. Um still very small a
small lad. So
Everton are going to have to figure out
what they're going to do with him next,
but
um it's really nice to see him take that
take a step up every year
and then show his developments. Um other
center forwards uh Liam Delap and
Nicolas Jackson,
they've been put in Chelsea's bomb
squad. Well, it's not really called the
bomb squad anymore.
Uh the new manager's trying to be a
little bit nicer, but they are training
with a separate training group to the
main team.
Which I think says everything about
their futures at the club.
Although, you know, the the price for
these kind of players, Liam Delap being
quoted at 50 million.
Um
It's just not going to It's just not
going to be there forever. And if
Everton are going to go for them, it's
going to be on loan.
Nicolas Jackson, he's actually someone
that I'd actually really like to see at
Everton, but I think he'll end up at
probably like someone like I imagine but
um
they're not wanted. And
as it gets closer to that deadline day,
I think that's when Everton will be
looking to do that business. And you
know, I think in his interview
with Baz yesterday, he sort of hinted at
that
of when that business is going to be
done is going to Everton going to try
and do that business. So,
um we'll have to wait and see
whether they would be too. And we
obviously know Liam Delap is Everton got
an interest in cuz they had an interest
in them last summer and spoke to him,
but
we'll have to wait and see what they're
prepared to go
up to for those players. Everton have
been linked with Frank Fiet, winger,
Jean Matéo Oyer.
Fastest player in the Bundesliga, right
winger, 21 year old, three goals, four
assists last season.
But that pace, that's what we're talking
about. It just seems slightly weird that
Everton would be getting linked with a
winger now that we've got four.
And yes, there is a potential of a fifth
with someone like Jack Grealish and even
Richarlison being rumored, you know,
linked.
Even though they might just be
conversations Everton are having in
general. We obviously know the Jack
Grealish one is is more firmed up.
But um
who knows? It's It's
It's getting to that point now where
I think the next couple of weeks are
going to be
intense for a lot of teams in the
Premier League.
So, we'll have to wait and see whether
Everton are looking at those players.
Hector Fort has also been linked with
Everton. Barcelona wanting
8
million euros for the right-back.
20-year-old for
was on loan last year with Elche. And
again,
we're not getting linked with enough
right-backs if you you're asking me.
It's a considering how how important it
is as a position. But Hector Fort's name
just keeps coming back again and again
and again and again. And Everton have
been linked with a move for Zeki Amdouni
from Burnley. 28-year-old striker, 11
Premier League goals last season. And
this, I think, was intensified by the
fact that David Moyes was at the Burnley
game against West Ham on Sunday, that
2-2 draw.
I think
there's definitely
there's definitely going to be
opportunities, I think, for a center
forward as well in the next couple of
weeks.
If Everton
can get it right, I think, and obviously
we've already mentioned the lap. It will
all come down to, I think, the
possibility of Beto leaving and Everton
getting one in. Those two deals would
have to be
pretty much be to be getting done at the
same time. Everton are not going to
leave themselves without a striker, but
at the same time, don't really want to
carry three either.
So, it has to be a lot of uh plates
spinning
uh you know, in in the last week or so
whether these things get done. So, I
don't think Everton are going to be
looking at They're going to be looking
at players, but I don't think they're
going to be looking to move for a player
unless there's firm interest in Beto as
well. I imagine Everton would be willing
to let Beto go. Beto go at the right
price, but
there would have to be a replacement
lined up and ready to come straight into
the club. Everton couldn't leave
themselves
um down to one striker. So,
again,
I I think we're going to see much
movements in the next
few days, even maybe the next week.
>> [snorts]
>> But,
those few days leading up to transfer
deadline day, I think are going to be
hectic, not just for Evan, but for a lot
of clubs. So,
um we we we know we're going into the
Crystal Palace game with the squad we've
got.
And uh you know, we're just going to
have to accept that. But, then it'll be
interesting to see
how quickly Evan can move. I'm sure Evan
I'm again
from talking to Angus Kinnie yesterday,
we already know Evan are sort of ready
to go. And I'm sure they're doing things
talking to people
and getting things lined up.
But, actually when things start going
public, that might be maybe towards the
end of next week. But, we'll we'll have
to wait and see on that one. Uh don't
forget as well, the game the game for
hope at Hill Dickinson, the tickets have
gone on sale today as well.
So, if you're interested in that game
that's going to be played on the 26th of
September at Hill Dickinson, there's
going to [snorts] be a
uh group of
ex-Evan players, ex-Liverpool players,
uh sportsmen,
women,
celebrities from around the city playing
against a host of legendary players as
well. Cafu being one of them, Jaap Stam
being another one of those players as
well. And there's more to show, there'll
be more to be announced as well. And so,
those tickets are available now.
Uh season ticket holders get a discount
on that as well. So, make sure you check
that out. Make sure you check out as
well the video we've done with Barry
from the 1878s. Um
This is all to do with trying to get
fans in early. Don't forget if you get
in early before the game on Saturday,
buy a pint, 50 p of that pint goes to
the 1878s for the for the for the
fantastic work they're doing. So, an
hour before uh the first hour when the
doors open, you get in, buy a pint, I
think it's £4.50, 50p goes to 1878, and
help them greatly. And we spoke loads
about the atmosphere, and those boys and
girls are really trying to get the
atmosphere going at Hill Dickinson.
There you go, that's all today's news.
