David Moyes said he was delighted with the point that Everton managed to scramble late on thanks to Angley Maitlin Niles tremendous 95th minute equalizer yesterday at Hill Dickinson Stadium as Everton played out a entertaining two- draw with Manchester United. But the manager did say that he was disappointed that Everton couldn't win the game and he felt as though when the game went to 1-1, the Trophies would be the team that would go on and win it. But obviously Benjamin Cesco then scored and Everton had to chase a last second equalizer which they got from Angley Maitlin Niles. David Moyes was full of praise though for Tyreek George who scored his first Everton goal with an absolutely brilliant equalizer, wasn't it? Great play from Hayden Hackne and it came out to George who rashed one into the roof of the net at the south stand. I mean if you're going to do it, you get your first one that's the best way to do it and self sent the south stand into absolute raptures with a a wonderful goal. Hopefully there's a lot more to come from George like that. And that was when he'd moved over to the right hand side. I think he had a good game overall. He got man of the match from Sky. I give him man of the match as well in my aftermatch stuff. thought he he was dangerous all day. Uh and the goal obviously giving him a big plus there. And I think we sort of finished the game with the two wide players that I think can cause a lot of teams issues this season. Jack Reish making his uh his second Editton debut if you like was over on the left hand side and George was on the right hand side and that really did stretch Manchester United. And I think like I said we can see more of um of them two together. It'll cause teams issues. we've just got to make sure we take the opportunities that they create. I think ended up with more dribbles than anyone and chances created as well. So, he had a really really good afternoon. Um, the manager also admitted he was delighted with Angley Maitlin Niles and said that he hadn't had the chance really to work with the right back much. He he only obviously signed on deadline day. Um, he said we're still learning about him, but what a great goal. and talking of Angley Maitlin Niles, he said he was delighted with his Everton debut and then said the noise after his equalizer was louder than Goodison Park and he said he's experienced Gooderson Park and how loud that was on occasions and he said Hill Dickinson was louder than that. I mean it was an unbelievable way to mark your debut, wasn't it? Coming onto the pitch a little bit earlier. I think David Moyes had said he was going to try James Garner at right back for five or 10 minutes before bringing Angley on, but he was on the pitch due to James Garner cramping up and um scored an absolute world. He didn't. The ball rolled out and he just guided it right into the top corner again in front of the south stand which was incredible. And to be in that ground and he he scored it was uh it was brilliant and they're the sort of moments that I think we need to keep building at Hill Dickens. I think had that been the winner it would have been even better of course but they are the moments that sort of make the place feel more and more like home and it was an absolutely brilliant goalie has said that he's settled in really well already at Everton and can see that it's a team who fights for everything um you know well well put together side and a team that can definitely achieve something this season just mentioned James Garner there because obviously he gone to right back and was at right back for about a minute before he went down injured. I don't think David Moyes's finest moment in making substitutions that one. But um everyone was really really worried when they seen James Garner sitting in the center circle, you know, having to you know play the ball out and just had to sit down on the floor. I think you'd always fear the worst especially cuz he's had an injury and missed preseason didn't he's only just catching games now. Um, but the manager has revealed afterwards that it was just cramp and that he should be fine. So, really good news there. And David Moyes was also asked about the fitness of new signing Christian Norard. The Evertonians haven't had a chance to see Norard in blue yet. He signed with an injury David Moyes comp, but they'd hoped that it it clear up a little bit quicker than it has done. He said that hopefully he'll be available after the international break that he has just started stepping it up. There is signs of progress now. So obviously Christian Nogard will be working towards full fitness during that break and um that means hopefully he'll be available for the trip to whole city after the break. And Everton are reportedly interested in free agent Anthony Martial. That is more reports over that today. Martial left CF Montter the Mexican side in tune. He can play anywhere across the front three positions. Obviously played a lot of games in the Premier League for Manchester United as well. He can also um you know we would come in and provide some real competition for Then Barry as well. He didn't have a great season in Mexico. Let's not talk this up as if he's going to solve all of Everton's problems, but he would be an interesting one. He is only 31 as well. So I think Everton do need some help in the the final third. I think um you know getting an extra player in taking the load off Tiero Barry like I said it can also go out on the left hand side as well. I think the squad could do with one or two more right now. So we'll wait and see if anything comes of it. David Moyes did say on Friday in the press conference that Everton were exploring the free transfer market and Anthony Martial is one of them. one free transfer who won't be coming into the football club and this is being received well by quite a few tooffees today is Jamie Vardy who has joined Bentley and finally we just want to say a big thank you from everyone here at Toffee TV for the 24hour live stream that we did for charity raising money for the Kevin Campbell Foundation and the Woodlands Hospice here in Liverpool we managed to raise £22,93461 but after the gift aid Um, total goes to £26,19217.
