Video summary

The video focuses on reviewing the latest holiday makeup collections to help viewers decide whether to purchase them or skip them entirely. The creator begins by highlighting new launches she has already tested, starting with Natasha Denona's "My Dream Concealer" collection, which features warm pink lipsticks and sheer glosses designed as a modern take on early 2000s trends. She praises the creamy formulas and unique color story, noting that while similar collections exist, this one offers a fresh vibe that pairs well with dramatic eye looks. Following this, she discusses Hourglass's Ambient Lighting Edit palettes, which she considers annual favorites despite initial skepticism about their uniqueness; she ultimately loves them for their incredible formula and plans to review specific shades like the Hope palette soon. Next, the creator dives into the highly anticipated Dior Holiday 2026 collection, admitting that while she usually avoids limited edition sets due to high prices and inconsistent quality, she is making an exception for this release. She expresses strong excitement over the intricate eyeshadow designs and adorable packaging, joking about spending a significant amount on the entire set despite her usual caution. The review covers specific items within the Dior lineup, including new Rosy Glow cheek sticks in frosted blue and various highlighter quads like Sparkling Plum Glow and Ice Honey Glow, which she intends to buy regardless of whether the colors match her skin tone perfectly. She also notes that while some shades might not suit her, the overall aesthetic is too compelling to pass up, especially given the likelihood of items selling out immediately upon release. The summary continues with an analysis of other notable releases, including a Vizart palette that she describes as stunning and perfect for those who prefer cooler tones, as well as a Bobbi Brown collaboration featuring bronzy shades in beautiful artwork packaging. She also discusses YSL's holiday collection, specifically the powder cheek palettes, which she plans to purchase despite not loving the specific red color story, driven by her love for their powder formula. Additionally, she touches upon Lancôme's return of a classic chocolate palette from 2013, which she wants solely for nostalgic reasons and its ability to make her feel young again. She briefly mentions a Too Faced tin palette replacing their annual release and the MAC Holiday collection, where she appreciates the disco ball theme and advent calendar but remains unimpressed by their lip glosses. Finally, the creator addresses a collaboration between Rodin and Alexandra Clark featuring mini shimmery blushes with a new finish. Although she is intrigued by the concept of affordable, long-lasting mini sizes, she ultimately decides to drop this specific collection because she is not drawn to the particular style or color story, even though she admires the collaborator's beauty. She concludes by mentioning that MAC's advent calendars are still worth considering for stocking stuffers due to their quality and variety of mini items. Throughout the video, she emphasizes that her primary goal is to spark conversation in the comments section regarding these collections and invites viewers to share what they want to see reviewed next, promising a dedicated guide on holiday kits soon.

[music] There's been an overwhelming amount of launches, haven't there? So, I am well overdue for a shopper drop where I'm going to be going over all of the newest holiday collections and letting you know whether or not I will be shopping them or dropping them from my shopping list. The idea behind this really is to get conversation going on in the comments. I want to hear your thoughts on these collection. I want to hear what you want to see me review, what you're curious about. So, I picked out a few things today that I was interested in speaking about with you guys. Um, I am leaving out holiday kits. I do have a whole holiday kit guide coming very, very soon. So, in the meantime, there's a lot of other just pure collections that I wanted to update you on or just give you my thoughts on. So, let's go ahead and get into it. I'm getting most of my information from either Trendmood 1 or AM Beauty Talk. So, I will have all of those linked down below for you guys. And I do want to start off with the collections that are brand new, just launched that I've actually already tried in case you missed it. So, first and foremost, we have from Natasha Denona, the My Dream Concealer Collection. I actually already have a full review and try on video up if you want to check that out, but this is supposed to be a modernday take on the early 2000s concealer lips. And honestly, this collection was so fun. Let's talk about the formulas. First and foremost, the lipsticks super creamy and the lip glosses are more of a sheer color, but they give you a little bit of tint. Um, you'll have to see the video to see how the colors play out, but I think that this collection is so fun. And while I did receive this collection in PR, it's definitely one that I would have and was more than ready to purchase myself. It's just something different. I feel like all of the lip colors are very similar. They're all like warm pinks and this is the first collection in a while dedicated to fully like just something different. I know last year MAC did their whole nudes collection as well. So, it's not like one of a kind by any means, but it was something fresh. I needed it. And I'm excited that Natasha Denona came out with this because it's fun without being too crazy. Like, yes, let's bring out some sp smoke smoky eyes because concealer lips are best paired with like a smokey eye or a dramatic eye. So, this is just the motivation that I needed to kick up my eye makeup, especially with some fun palettes that have been launching lately. This one pairs beautifully with her new I need a cool palette. Now, you already know this. Hourglass has launched their ambient lighting edit palettes for the year. And actually on Sephora, they just launched today as well. Again, full-blown video already up on these. These are like one of my all-time favorite launches every single year. I purchase them every year. And yeah, I I don't know about these top palettes. I heard from Britt Clark that there is potential that these might launch uh Black Friday. I'm not getting my hopes up, but I sure do hope so. These palettes are very, very beautiful. Today, I'm actually wearing the Hope palette. I mean, I know it's hard to tell, and I've been liking that one a lot. The Hope and Wish are the two for me that I'm enjoying the most. So, if you missed out on that launch, I will have the video right here for you to check out. And this one I have not talked about, but I did purchase it and you will see it very soon in an upcoming review. I also did this makeup look using the Rosier palette and one of the shades from the Dream collection. So, you will see this from the Dream Date palette. So, you will see this up and coming if you were curious about it. But, I really love these palettes. Uh, when they first launched, I was like, "Oh my god, these are so boring. We don't need them. You already have them." And then the formula was just incredible that I ended up really loving these palettes. And that's all it takes. If it's not going to be unique, fine. But the formula better be good. And they definitely achieved that here. So in this we get two of the matte palettes and then one dream date palette. I don't know why I keep calling it a collection. Dream date palette. And this one has some of the shimmers in there. And then what is the official name of these? I can't remember for the life of me. Warm Rose is the one that I use and that one will be permanent and then cool taupe, the other one. I haven't tried cool taupe yet. I'm excited. That one will will be permanent. And then I'm guessing that the Dream Date palette is a holiday exclusive. So, these are very, very beautiful. So, I'm excited to update you guys on these and try them on in a video for you coming very soon. I'm having problems with my main camera right now, so it's I'm not going to be able to film it until I get that situation figured out. It is coming. Okay, so that those are the launches that I wanted to let you know that I have. Let's get into what else is launching because this next launch is the whole reason for me filming this video. This will sell out. I'm sure of it because Dior collections are already selling out. And this one is so my vibe. This looks like it belongs in my makeup room. And I was this close, you guys, to buying the bags with this design right here. if you know what I'm talking about. Some of the bags, they have this whole design and it's absolutely adorable, but then I couldn't justify the price point because like Dior like I love the makeup, but the bags are a little expensive. But anyways, look how beautiful this collection is. The eyeshadows look so intricate. Even though I have said I'm done buying the Dior limited edition collections, I'm making an exception for this collection. Uh I actually might wear these colors. Their eyeshadow palettes are very inconsistent, particularly these limited edition collections. I'm not a huge fan of the quality, but I need to possess these. I need to own these. These need to be in my possession. Hello, Bridgetgerton. Like, that might not look very cute on me, but whatever. We have a highlighter. We have a blush from what I'm able to tell. Two eyes shadows. I'm I'm buying it all. I'm spending $100 and I'm buying it all. Maybe not this eyehadow palette. I like the other ones. I might buy this eyehadow palette. This one doesn't look very pretty to me. But these ones, they will be mine. As soon as these become available, I will post about them after I order mine. I'm not going to miss out. But the problem with Dior is they're so discreet, but they're launching that by the time I normally see these are available, they're already sold out. Like, I won't be buying this. I just want those first makeup items on the first page. Looks like we have a couple new rosy glow cheek sticks like the pink delight. Sure, I'll buy that. Why not? I will paying on a frosted blue. Uh also from the holiday collection. Is this the advent calendar or just a very fanciful perfume box. Now, this one is the advent calendar, which I've heard mixed opinions on, but it looks super duper cute. Wait, it's probably going to be like $800 or more. Oh, there's also this advent calendar. You know, this is actually the first year that I'm intrigued to um potentially try an advent calendar. Not sure about that, but yeah, most of Oops. This right here, this first page is a shop. This is a drop shop. Shop drop. Cute. Cute bag though. Half shop, half drop. Drop. This will be a drop, but I'm thinking about it. [laughter] Maybe a shop. I need to see more information on that. But that's the Dior holiday collection, and I am here for it. I'm so so stinking excited for this. It looks like we're getting some holiday highlighter quads. These are my favorite, though. The formula is not what it used to be, but anyways. Uh, sparkling plum glow. I'm going to shop. Not made for my skin tone. I'll put it on my eyes. I just I love this formula. Okay, I see rose glow. I can see that I'm going to probably dislike this. Don't care. Going to shop it. Okay, ju just let me be. Let me be in my little world. This doesn't look like I would like it very much though. I probably could pass on this, but I'm going to review it. And then Ice Honey Glow. Now, this one's up my alley. This is Yeah, I just I love these highlighter palettes. Even if the formula is not as good, they're still like they're still so good that it doesn't matter even if they did downgrade a little bit. So I am very much excited about this as well from Dior. Also, have you seen this new palette from Vizart? This looks so beautiful. I think this particular edit makes it look a little warmer than it actually is. Like this one looks a lot cooler. This is the Praline Dolce Eat and Dew palette and I love it. I love it. I love it. I can't wait to have it. Shop, shop, shop. This looks stunning. I know I've been missing out on some of the Vizy Art palettes. Just I don't know. There's always so much to review, but this one I will be doing a video with because it is right up my alley. And you know, I love the art palettes. I think their quality is exceptional most of the time. And for my fellow boring girls, I need to have this and I need to share it. And love, love, love, love, must have. It's available now. I'll have it linked if you're interested. I actually saw this scrolling through Sephora, though. I'm getting this from a Meet Beauty Talks page. Um I don't like love Bobbi Brown like a ton, but sometimes they have some really good items. And I thought that this looked gorgeous. They collabed with the Mattes. And again, this is like for my bronzy boring girls. But how pretty is this? And look at that packaging. What a piece of artwork. That is probably a drop for me. But I did want to share it because they did pass it online and I thought it looked absolutely stunning. And I did see on Amit's page there's other items in this collection that you can see here. It looks like they're starting to become available at Nordstrom. I do think that this blush shade looks really pretty. I'm always attracted to a pink with a peach turn. The tone of that pink looks beautiful. Some cheek colors. I mean, this is a drop for me, but I thought the collection looked really gorgeous. And I do appreciate a good limited edition collection, but that palette in particular, stunning. I'm not very interested in this, but I thought I'd throw out this is what the YSL holiday collection is going to look like. Sparkling Cherries. They do have formulas that I really enjoy in colors that really aren't for me. So, I am going to drop this, but I did see some of these items showing up on Dillards if you're interested. Now, what I am going to talk about is that cheap palette. Okay. Everything else in the collection looks fine. I actually have some of these cream blushes that I've yet to try. So, that will be coming very soon. So, hold on. We're holding off on the cheek palette. Eye palette. Like it. Don't love it. I just don't love like really really red colors on my eyes. We have some glosses which I think are in a good but overrated formula for the price point. This is my favorite powder blush formula though I'm not feeling called to these colors. So the whole collection pretty much is a pass for me. There also is going to be an advent calendar which their advent calendars are pretty fun every year. Don't know that I'll be purchasing them cuz they're expensive but I do like their advent calendars. Okay. But I what I really wanted to talk about was the cheek palette because you better believe I have that hard on the Sephora website right now. There are two palettes that will be available at Sephora and I'm going to get the lighter one, but I was tempted to get both. I'm honestly might even purchase the dark one and give it to my mom because she will be so into that. I'm attracted to a good cheek palette even though creams are so in right now. Don't care. I'm I just want it. And I do love YSL's powder cheek formula. I wonder if these are the same formulas as my beloved blushes. I'm going to have to buy it and let you know. Uh yeah, light medium medium deep. We have chocolate brown packaging. Going to be available very very soon on Sephora if not yet. So definitely keep an eye out for that. I was just excited to talk about that one. Now this is normally a collection that I would completely not talk about, but you know what? I tried last year's collection and I was floored with the equivalent of this palette from last year. So, I am absolutely intrigued. I don't love this color story. I loved last year's color story. But I'm telling you guys, this quality is so so good. At least it was last year that I'm kind of tempted by this palette. I don't know if it's a sharper drop. It's certainly not a need, but I am absolutely interested. Uh the quality was just so good. What can I say? So, the jury is still out on this, but I definitely am eyeing it. I think it's really beautiful. So, I did want to share that this one, Is it available yet? I do have a link to it. I think I found it in a couple different retailers. Uh, but back me up here. If you tried this, if you tried this collection from Lancome last year, right, it was kind of good. And then these lipsticks are very, very nice. They kind of give a little bit of a blurred effect. I'm not falling in love with these shades. The packaging is cute, but it's the palette, even though I don't wear eyeshadow as much anymore. I'm going to start with this season coming up that I like it. Okay, I like it. I don't need it. I like it. Also, road collabed with Alexandra L Clerk for a little collection of mini like shimmery blushes. I don't know. Kind of random, but like I'm sure they're nice. This is a drop for me. Like I'm intrigued, but like maybe not that intrigued. Maybe if they come to Sephora, I don't know that they will. I'd try one of the shimmer ones because I am curious about the new finish. But overall, the collection is a drop for me. I'm not like, Listen, I think Alexandra L Clerk is like the most gorgeous girl ever, and I love her style. I love all of that. I just am not drawn to this collab or collection for some reason. But dang, this girl is gorgeous. And I believe she's pregnant right now. She's glowing. She's beautiful. I mean, this looks really pretty. I want to try like one shade, but I'm not running or rushing to try it out, if that makes sense. So, that's kind of where I'm at on this. But, it is interesting because you do have this new shimmer finish. But, I do think it's odd that they're doing the new finish in minis, but I think the minis make more sense. Honestly, the size is better, especially if it's more affordable because blush lasts so long. And these road blushes, they're pretty pigmented. So, interesting. I just wanted to share that. Would you judge me if I picked this up? Be honest. Um, I don't even think I owned this back in the day, which I'm very surprised by because this palette originally launched in 2013 and I'm trying to think like I was a junior in high school. I feel like I would have owned it, but it's not ringing a bell. I sure as heck owned every other chocolate palette, but they're bringing back 13 years later this chocolate palette, chocolate bar palette, and like it's pretty. I want it. I don't care for the nostalgia of it. Just like to bring back my teenagehood, okay? And it's pretty. I don't care what you say. I want it. I'm going to shop it because I think it's so pretty and it'll make me feel young again. Listen, a brown nude palette. Sign me up. And you know what, you guys, the last couple of years, Too Faced has not put out one of their regular tin eyeshadow palettes that they used to put out every single year. So, like, this I think is in place of that. Okay, I'm trying it. I don't care what you say cuz I know you're going to say I don't need it. Don't cur. You can't bully me into anything. Okay, where where is what I'm looking for? Why did I pull this up? I'm not interested in this. This is a drop. But the MAC holiday collection is available now. Their advent calendars are known to be really good, so keep that in mind. The packaging is just like black and sparkly and very vib. And I I guess I'm talking about this because I used to die over MAC Holiday Collections back in the day, back in that chocolate bar era. So, you know, even if they aren't as good, they'll always hold a special place in my heart. But like I I do like the disco ball theme. I do like it. I hate those lip glosses. I don't know what that thing is on the right, but it's caught my eye. If it's like a bare blush, but if it's like a highlight, I don't want it. Intrigued. You know, I'm not writing these off. These are kind of cute. What is that? Not in love with these. Anyways, this is the MAC holiday collection. And like I said, this advent calendar looks very, very good. Mac is known to have very, very good advent calendars and lots of little mini stocking stuffer situations. I hate these glosses. I hate them and they keep coming out with things. These are a really cool, unique formula for MAC. Don't like those. Anyways, just wanted to comment on it for nostalgia's sake, but it's a holiday collection for MAC. Some pieces look nice, some don't. Oh, also if you missed it, the Mars holiday collection did launch as well and I am dropping them that I think I talked about it in a different shopper drop, but the full collection it's out and tempted, but I don't like the colors. So, so there we have it. Those are some of the newest holiday collections that have either launched or are launching very soon. I wanted to give you my thoughts on them and just do a little makeup chit. Just do a little makeup chitchat. It's my favorite thing. So, I'll have everything that I mentioned linked down below if they are available. Let me know what you want to see me review coming up. And like I said, I will be doing a video on the holiday kits and a guide for that. So, I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I'll see you guys in the comment section. Bye, guys. Have a good one. >> It's delicious. [music] >> [music]
