This Ocarina of Time Remake Leak Update is HUGE! + More!

We do have an update on the latest Ocarina of Times/Zelda 40th anniversary leaks and rumors out there. It's actually a rather big update. And because of this update, we now have a new theory to present to you guys about what might actually be going on. That's pretty exciting. Again, it's a theory, but it's based on the actual leak and rumor that has an official update to it. Uh, that's going to be at the end of the video. So, if you guys want to go ahead and go down to different timestamps to jump to different stories, I totally understand. But I do need to make sure I update some people on other news happening with Nintendo. Uh, so first off, we have to talk about The Witcher 3 remastered. Uh, yes, it was announced for Switch 2. We're not going to like summarize all the opening night live stuff, but we do have our first official screenshots to look at and obviously some general news around that version of the game. More than that, because of Gamescom, we have our first look at new footage for 007 First Light running on Switch 2, Metaphor Refantasio running on Switch 2, Mega Man Dual Overdrive, and Drago's Dogma 2. So, we're going to take just brief looks and talk about those games for a little bit. Uh, more than that, we have a look at some of the new LEGO sets that are coming in 2027. At least a look at one of them along with some news on some of the others. Uh, more than that, Koe Techmo has confirmed their entire lineup for Tokyo Game Show next uh month. And a lot of these games or almost all of them are coming to Switch 2, so we got to check that out. And yeah, as I said, the affformentioned Zelda update. So guys, let's go ahead and jump into our very first story here. And this one deals with Witcher 3. But first, let's go over what's going on so you understand why the screenshots matter here cuz hey, Witcher 3 is on Switch One, right? So, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt remastered has been announced for Switch 2 and is arriving in September. So, it says CD Project Red has announced the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt remastered for Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xods, and PC with a release date for September 29th, 2026. The new version of the Dark Fantasy RPG will include the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions and will feature a number of improvements over previous editions. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt remastered modernizes Geralt of Rivia's adventure with visual performance and gameplay enhancements, including changes to combat controls, and skill progression. Players will continue their journey through the Northern Kingdoms in search of Siri before the Wild Hunters can seize the young woman's powers. Uh, you can get more details obviously about this, but what's really cool about this is on the Switch 2, the version will actually be about 43.4 GB and will be designed for a single player. It will also support cloud saves, a touchscreen, and surround sound. On compatible televisions, the Switch 2 version will support HDR and 120 Hz refresh rate. Obviously, 120 Hz works in handheld. The presence of this option indicates compatibility with screens operating at this frequency, although the description provided does not itself establish a frame rate of 120 fps. Players who already own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, that includes me, on Nintendo Switch, will be able to redeem The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt remastered for free on Switch 2 after its release. CD Project Red emphasizes that this is a separate download which will appear with its own icon on the home menu after installation. Uh, also Witcher 3: Songs of the Past DLC is going to be coming and there was a trailer for that. Uh, but yeah, for free whether you own it physically or digitally, it is for free. That is awesome. That is wild. But the reason we're talking about this today isn't because I mean that's that's like the big news cuz we actually have a look at the Switch 2 version. Uh, we have a look at it thanks to Nintendo everything over here. We have our first screenshot. So, here is screenshot number one, which look, this is like a 4K screenshot. So, it's quite large, but look at the details, man. This looks so much better than it does on Switch One. It's absolutely insane. As we go back here, we look at this next image here. I mean, look at this. Look at how insane this looks. This looks so good compared to that Switch One release. Again, just comparing to that. Obviously, there's new lighting involved, ray tracing, stuff like that. Switch 2 is supporting all that. So obviously it's going to look even better on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. That's not really the point. The point is this looks amazing on Switch 2 as well. This is awesome. People are going to love it. We don't know the frame rates or anything. A support for 120 Hz would suggest to me it's probably targeting 60. Maybe there's a 40 FPS mode as well. But yeah, guys, it looks crazy. It looks good. And you know what? We actually get to get actual gameplay footage of for the Switch 2 version. How about a bunch of games that are at Gamescom here? So, let's go ahead and take a look at this. So, first Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay is in for 007 First Light Metaphor Refantasio Mega Man Dual Overdrive Dragon's Dogma 2. Uh so, first let's just look at 007 First Light. Uh look guys, I'm really excited for this one. It reviewed very well on other platforms and it looks like it's running decently here. Maybe even better than the Hitman game that came at launch. I'm, you know, until I go hands- on myself, I'm not really sure. I don't know if I'll get to go hands-on with this at all uh during packs next week. I'm hoping that it's there. But yeah, uh then we also get a look at Metaphor Refantasio. And not only do we have a look at this gameplay here, uh we also technically have a preview you can check out from Thunder Stash Gaming. I'll go ahead and link that down below cuz he actually got to play this at a separate event than Gamescom. But unfortunately, they couldn't put the previews out till today. And today is also the same day as the footage from Gamescom. So, we're going to use the Gamescom footage because we know for sure, matter of fact, that this is Switch 2 stuff. But Thunder Stash gives you all the breakdown on the game and it targeting 60 fps and all that stuff. Then, obviously, we got to take a look here at Mega Man Dual Override. This was announced yesterday. Uh, it looks really, really good. Mega Man is back, baby. I'm happy to see the Blue Bomber back in action yet again, even with a game here that kind of reminds me a bit of the Mega Man X series a bit. Uh, look, the gameplay looks really, really good. I just wanted to make sure you guys got a chance to see this. It should look relatively the same on every platform, but one game you might actually want to know just how it runs on Switch 2 in general is Dragons Dogma 2: Dark Arisen. And here we can see some actual Switch 2 gameplay. Uh, people seem to be pretty satisfied. Uh, in fact, the thumbnail of the video you're seeing here on screen right now from the Outer Haven literally says runs better than we expected. So, while this isn't obviously running perfect, it's obviously a really enjoyable experience. And Dragon's Dogma 2 is looking utterly fantastic on the platform. So, that is just something that I thought you guys might want to hear about and uh be up to date on because I'm a big Dragons Dogma fan and maybe you are as well. So, yeah, the Switch 2 version definitely looks passable. All right, we got to go get into our next story here. This one deals with 2027 Lego sets. Uh we have a little bit of a look here. Says first look at the 2027 Lego Super Mario sets. And look, you can see this first one here obviously looks pretty cool. Uh cuz this has officially been unveiled. And then brick set obviously leaked. All these other ones we talked about before in Mario's Pipe Jump, Yoshi at Mario's House, Bowser's Rumbling Race, Fire Mario in Bowser's Castle, Fire Luigi versus Koopa Troopa Battle. Uh so it's pretty cool. But yeah, we can take a look at some of these images here. Um, and yeah, it's nice to see some official stuff here. Uh, coming in on the Lego set images. You see the Mario Kart one here. You can see some of the beach set over here at Cheap Cheap Beach. Cheap Cheap Beach one actually looks really good. I I might I might want to get that one for myself. That one looks great. Some more Mario Kart stuff. Obviously featuring Bowser Jr. and Luigi. Obviously see a house here with a slide with Yoshi. You're seeing obviously some more stuff here from Mario Kart. Definitely Mario Kart World because you have the cow, right? The cow's up in here. That's good to see. Here's Bowser's Castle looking all good. And then obviously we have a look here at this set as well. So guys, I'm really happy that we have these official looks at the LEGO sets. Thank you so much uh to LEGO for finally releasing those images so we can actually talk about it a bit more in depth than just leaks. All right, guys. Next up, Koe Techmo has had their entire lineup announced for Tokyo Game Show and uh this is really cool. So, they detailed their lineup for it and it says Altaria Caria, the Night Kingdom and Guide of Memories, Attack on Titan 3, Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered, Nobunaga's Ambition, Hishue, and Woolong 2: Wings of Ember will be featured. And as it says, all of these games are already confirmed for Switch 2. They'll also mention that each of Koi Technical's games will be playable. They'll have a stage presence, too. Uh, so yeah, Tokyo Game Show is next month, of course, and happens every single time. This is awesome. I'm really happy that we're going to see a bunch of likely Switch 2 gameplay of this stuff at Tokyo Game Show because Nintendo is the biggest platform in Japan. So, a lot of games like to show off their stuff, specifically on Nintendo's platforms. All right, guys. Now, we got to get to the Zelda. I know you've been waiting. I've been waiting, too. Uh just to kind of give you guys the the the the skinny here. Uh yesterday we put out a video talking about Nintendo and a specific Zelda leak he put out there. That Zelda leak uh said essentially level very Zelda colon-to and we talked about a whole bunch of stuff with Otto. A lot of people kind of jumping to the conclusion that Otto means well one right. So, hey, a very onetoone Zelda remake, right? That's what people were kind of assuming. Although some people jumped to other stuff, went to orchestra things. It could be a product, right? It doesn't necessarily even mean it is Ocarina of Time. We have an update on this because Mike Odyssey quoted him and uh decided to basically put that out there that he thinks it's that and Nintend shot it down. So Mike Odyssey before he edited his post said Nintendo shared an anagram hint related to The Legend of Zelda that could translate to every level one one meaning that the upcoming remake could be a one to one remake of the original like the new Star Fox game. Nintendo responds and says can confirm it specifically is not hinting at that. So Nintendo just coming right at me like nah man that's not at all what I'm talking about. So, whoa. Okay. So, now we could throw out the most popular theory around yesterday's leak/ rumor. So, what I wanted to do actually is bring up a theory slash uh idea here from one of the members of our channel. Uh, this person brought it up on yesterday's live stream once we had this news break. And again, I want to make sure to shout out Joyce Jay, one of our moderators. She brought attention to me that there was an update on this story. She's a big Zelda fan, so she's trying to pay attention to stuff here. Anyways, one of another member of our channel, another fan, uh, decided in my live stream yesterday to propose a different theory. Now that we know this isn't onetoone, and this theory directly relates to Ocarine of Time. It's something I wasn't thinking about, but it's something that actually uses the entire tweet. So, not just the Otto, but the level vary Zelda and even the colon and the dash. I'm just noting here that like this is very much speculation but man this is a good theory. So here we go. Boom mini one says level very Zelda one temple only. You play as Zelda for one temple and they added that to the remake. Now, they say they're out of ideas, but we're not dumb because her husband decided to chime in and said, "My husband thinks that the colon- represents the eye of the chic symbol." And you know what? When that symbol has its eye closed, maybe maybe they're on to something there. So, a new dungeon exclusive to Zelda. So, very Zelda level. Very Zelda. It is a Zelda only level in the game that uh you know one temple only. Oh man, can you imagine sometime during the seven years there's a light temple and you're playing a chic for a small bit and you have to do the light temple as Zelda/Shik and that's how you wake Link up from seven years of sleep. actually have that fully play out and explained. Man, would that be a really, really cool piece of lore. That'd be some really great additional content. And obviously a small little jaunt that's different than an Ocarine of Time. I like this theory a lot. I actually think this is one of the best theories I've ever seen for this so far. And just to remind you guys obviously of the original stuff here, so you can see how they got to that. Uh this is the original tweet and uh it's kind of crazy, guys. So it says level very Zelda colon oto their theory encompasses all of it. So boom mini and your husband holy crap you blew my mind. I now I'm like this actually might be what it is. This is where my mind is going. Obviously all you guys' other theories are relevant and it is possible we make a new video on this later. Uh maybe while I'm gone at PAX I'll have a video go up that has all of your guys' theories as well. You guys have left a lot of great theories on the last video down in the comments that wasn't about obviously this being a onetoone remake. So now you can leave additional theories down below and I'm going to try to feature some of the absolute best ones in a discussion video on this because again your theories are crazy and so much better than what I'm coming up with.
