Video summary
The Coastal Sea Otters, led by head coach Matt Meeks in his third season and ranked 13th nationally, are heading into the 2028 preseason with high hopes but significant concerns regarding injuries to their star players. While the offense features elite talent like redshirt senior Will Henderson III, who is praised for his speed and acceleration despite lacking some IQ, and wide receiver Ty Biggs, the team faces a precarious situation due to multiple key injuries before the season even begins. The most critical issue involves wide receiver Micah Alejando, who has suffered a partial MCL tear that will keep him out of action until late in the year, alongside other significant setbacks for running back Nick John and tight end Shane Wolfford. Despite these challenges, Coach Meeks remains optimistic about the roster's potential improvement and emphasizes the importance of recruiting new talent to fill gaps at wide receiver and tight end positions before facing a grueling schedule that includes rivals like Ohio State and Georgia.
The season opener against Georgia serves as a pivotal moment where the team must prove their resilience despite playing without some of their best players. The game is described as tough, with Coach Meeks noting that Georgia's run-heavy playbook will force them to pass more often on third downs, creating opportunities for defensive standout freshman Moses Lyles to make big plays. Although the Otters struggle initially and face a difficult first quarter, they manage to turn things around through strategic adjustments and clutch performances from Henderson and Biggs. The victory is secured with a dramatic finish involving a fumble recovery by Mike Vaughn that leads directly into the end zone, showcasing the team's ability to overcome adversity even when their star wide receiver is sidelined for most of the contest.
Following the win against Georgia, the Otters face Ohio State in what becomes an intense rivalry game filled with emotional stakes and high drama. Despite being ranked 10th nationally while Ohio State struggles at five-and-four, the match turns chaotic as several key offensive players sustain injuries during play, including a dislocated ankle for Wolfford that ends his season prematurely. The team relies heavily on backup quarterback Preston Westerman to keep them competitive in the second half, eventually securing a narrow victory with only seconds remaining on the clock after scoring a touchdown and kicking an extra point. This win propels Coastal Sea Otters into the Big Ten Championship game against Nebraska, where they face another injury-plagued roster but ultimately triumph thanks to heroic efforts from Westerman and defensive stops that seal their path to becoming conference champions.
The season culminates in the College Football Playoff with a matchup against Boise State for the national title, presenting both favorable matchups due to Boise's lack of elite speed receivers and daunting challenges given their undefeated record heading into the game. Coach Meeks acknowledges the difficulty of relying on Westerman to carry the team through two playoff rounds without Alejando but expresses confidence in his ability to lead them to victory before a potential return for injured stars later in the year. The video concludes with reflections on breaking single-season records, including Ty Bigs setting a new reception record and the team's successful recruitment efforts that bolster their depth chart for future seasons. As they prepare for Episode Six, fans are left wondering how the narrative will unfold given the ongoing injury crises and the high stakes of defending their national championship status in upcoming games.

What are they going to say now? Now that
the Coastal Sea Otters are on episode
five, what are they going to say now?
WELCOME BACK, GENTLEMEN, TO EPISODE FIVE
of our custom team, the Coastal Sea
Otters, where head coach Matt Meeks
enters his third season, ranked 13th in
the nation. We don't have a national
championship yet. That's obviously the
goal. But I tell you what, I'm really
liking how this roster is looking
heading into the 2028 preseason. Most
importantly, Will Henderson III red
shirt senior his final season cost a lot
of schmemeckles. Cost a lot of
schmemeckles. 96 speed 97 acceleration
shifty side 360 animal got a monster
left tackle and Shane Wolfford. We know
Ty Biggs is a dog. 6'250.
Micah Alejando inevitable. I mean our
offense is great but Will Henderson I'm
going to miss him so much. Normal Dev by
the way I just can't wait. Maxed out
quickness. Only thing he's lacking here
is some hands and some IQ. He's much
like an MMG viewer, just lacking IQ. I
want to give a gigantic thank you to

Came up a little bit short last season,
but I think we've got a lot of room to
improve. Wide receivers, I still kind of
want a speed demon. Maybe Billy Strange
can get there. I don't really think so.
So, it's Billy Strange, Ross Duca, and
Tai Bigs. Duca and Ty are really tall.
So, green catches will be a nice option
for us. Tight end position is so bad on
this team. I mean, Scotty Wade, weird
tight end, low overall. We got to
recruit a tight end this season.
Recruiting a tight end is essential or
transfer portaling a tight end. And
defensively, this season's going to be
all about Moses Lyles. Now, he's a
freshman. He's only 72 overall, but he
does have elite dev trait. 88 speed and
90 acceleration. He's going to be nasty.
So, we're going to keep our eye on Moses
Lyles. Mike Vaughn Troutman and Chris
Doss all look really good. Chris Doss,
platinum robber as a sophomore. It's
kind of disgusting. Also, Sergio
Heredia, freshman, super fast. Safeties
are Teddarius Hughes. Engage Columbus
blueprint is exactly how I want it to
be. We have reduced expectations. We
have offseason increase. We have dynasty
points increase. We have recruiting. We
got everything we need. We're so good
there. Schedule's kind of nutty though.
So, like we play Ohio first. Cool. We
have Georgia. We're a Big 10 team, by
the way. Coastal Sea Otterers are in the
Big 10. Our rivals are like Oregon,
UCLA, Michigan State. Ohio State's on
our schedule. So, this is such a So,
okay. Obviously, the Georgia game is
going to be really, really tough. We
play Missouri. Ohio State in the middle
of the season. This is going to be
interesting. I'm really interested in
this Georgia game, though. We're playing
that for sure. Okay, so Ohio's a big
win. Our ranking doesn't change. Kind of
got to win this game. No, we could lose
to Georgia, still make the playoffs for
sure, but damn, week one, we're
Georgia's first game of the season. Can
only play the moments here. Feels good,
baby. Oh, yeah. This is a um there's
like these week one games that are at a
neutral sight. I kind of forgot about
this. What's the keys to success in this
game? I know Georgia's playbook runs the
ball a lot, so things like third and 10
are going to be big cuz they're going to
be forced to pass. And there's Lyles.
Like I said, I think Lyles is our guy.
Okay.
Absolutely negative pressure. The zone
is going to collapse if we can't get on
the quarterback right there. Come on,
Moses. This is a run. It's Georgia. It's
first and 10. It's an RPO. Even worse,
big hit. That's what I like to see. I
want to stay on Moses Lyles. This kid's
a freshman with the back plate and the
towel combo. It's interesting.
Jet touch pass. I thought for sure that
was a jet power option. I thought that
was going to stay with the QB. Big play
here. I'm sending it. Montgomery third
and two.
There it is. There it is. Big 51. That's
what I love to see. Fourth and inches.
Honestly, holding no field goal. I'm
totally fine with this. See what Heredia
has got on fourth and inches. No block
kicks, guys. One of these days I'm
finally going to get a block kick. One
of these days I'm going to get it.
Defense needs my help again. Yucky. Bad
moments. Where's Lyles? Is Lyall's not
in on nickel? That would be a tragedy.
We're going to need to make a formation
sub for sure. Okay, so 425 has him not
coming in. That's bold. SECOND AND 12.
Clock's winding. George is passing. I
see a check down. They don't like it.
Pockets, dude. Holy [ __ ] It's got to be
a run. I'm pulling queen. If it's a
pass, just take it. I'm pulling my DB
off that though. Yes, sir. But seven
pulled a DB. Still scored it. Good lord.
We're getting dominated right now. So
Bigs has got single coverage. You got a
third and seven as our first moment.
This is super ugly. It's Mike Alihado
got little bit of room. Absolutely none.
Holy [ __ ] Can I play, please? I get one
offensive play. Nobody's home. They want
to give me a defensive moment. Can I
play? Yes. It is 13 to zero. I get a
full drive. Here we go. Why not? Wildcat
blast for the Otter.
What you got?
[cheering] Dude, his block was so good
he prevented me from running. That's
brutal. They go right back to it. This
guarantees the balls in Henderson's
hands. Third and four now. I mean, do
you think Bigs in single coverage? How
do we like Bigs or Duca in single
coverage there? Or press coverage? I
mean, I'd prefer first. Ooh, good
blocks. Duca with some good downfield
blocking right there. We get a first and
10. Mm. Checkdown's in full effect. I
want to air one out. Shawn Wade is not a
guy I want to throw the ball to.
Alihad's got some room for sure. Nice.
Good blocks up front. We got to get our
first touchdown up. Quarterback slot
options. Kind of a nasty play here. Oh,
we're keeping that, dude. Number four,
Georgia. At least there's no stadium
pulse.
Could always be worse. Easy checkdown.
Nice catch.
stepping up with Micah. They got
threeman rush right there. 23 on the
clock. We can burn one more timeout.
Wide slot verticals. I don't hate this
actually. You know, Bigs is going to
have single coverage. So is Duca. Those
are big dudes. Unless those safeties
drop back. No, that's worth it. He kind
of's got to jump on him. Green, green,
green.
Tie bigs. That was the tiniest green
window. He dunked on him down there.
It's such a big play. Ah, we need more
of that. Third and seven. This is one of
those shift plays. These are really
awkward, but they can work. I like the
route combos here. Third and seven.
Let's find somebody. [music]
Shawn Wade. Oh my god. That's one of the
worst parts about playing those moments
is a lot of times you just start out on
third and long. It's like, all right,
you better clutch up the play or enjoy
the bench. Weird lighting here. What's
going on with the lighting now? Seems
like some of the bulbs are out in the
stadium, but that's okay because it's
first and 10. We got chance. Sean Wade
all 74 speed of him but nice. I do think
we got to go to Henderson a little bit
more here. The thing is is George is
really running just three down lineman
sets.
They're stuffing us. Not this time
though. Nice work Henderson. Nine rushes
76 yds. We got to stay with Henderson.
Let's just give him a flat. Ooh,
actually kind of like the wheel route
here.
Risky.
Not that risky. Allehad's in too much
trouble here. We need to take some
pressure off Alihado. Oh no.
>> Let's get a good run here, boys.
Henderson.
Can he go
>> down to the two? ALMOST, BUDDY. ALMOST.
Let's go. Pistol. Let's get strong with
it. Deuce. Close. Pistol stretch.
Clock's going to get weird here. If
Georgia ran at all and then kicked a
field goal.
And that's not even Will Anderson. We're
going to let the backup come in and do
it. Why not? What kind of defense can we
play? First and 10. Their offense can be
anything. They're probably passing, but
they really don't have to. First and 10.
That's RPO. Oh, I thought he was going
to throw that. Second and six. Just made
like a backwards tackle, but it works.
I'm going to bring back out the blitz.
Where's Lyles, baby? My linebacker subs
are all screwed up because Lyles should
be in RIGHT NOW. BOOM. IT DON'T MATTER.
TY GROUPY GETS HOME. Third and 17. Huge
play. Okay, we're going to guess pass
here. I'm coming off the edge with Zack
Queen. Zack Queen can make a gigantic
play here if we have time to get on him.
We don't. They air it out. What?
How did he not catch? This game's
busted. This game's busted. But listen,
when it's busted in my favor, it's
goated. And it's because I'm good at the
game. When it's busted against me, it's
because Monkeys at EA made it that way.
That's a touchdown. If Oh my god, you
got panc. Holy [ __ ] My lead blocker
Larry got sat on his ass. But we still
got a ton of yards. We're clawing this
puppy back. Go tight end attack here on
first and 10. Check down's my most
viable.
Yeah. Oh wow. I mean, they just vacated
that. We've got platinum tier spin cycle
right now. Didn't do much right there.
It's usually gold tier, but he's hot.
Henderson's hot right now for good
reason. He's averaging 14 yards a carry.
We're going to speed option our way into
a victory. We're going to play this
smart. Look at that selfless ball player
right there. Look at that selfless ball
player, Will Henderson. The third, by
the way. First goal. George is out of
timeouts. I think this game's over. If I
done did my math correctly, [cheering]
just Henderson just can't fumble. He
doesn't. I think it is. I think I can
actually kneel it out. I wouldn't mind
giving my boy an extra tutty, but at
what cost? You know, at jeopardy of
losing the game. No thank you. My goal
is going down. Damn. Did we squeak that
game out? Number four, Georgia is going
to fall to the Sea Otterers. That was
not pretty at all. Will Henderson,
you're player of the game, buddy. Dude,
how do we get that pick? That
interception we got made no sense. 14
carries, 155, no touchouts. That's
almost kind of more impressive. How do
you get 14 for 155 and never hit the end
zone, you know? Dub's a dub, baby. Well,
let's get caught up on recruiting first
and foremost. Now that we're a high star
program, I mean, take a look at this
fivestar corner. Hello, absolute
monster. This kid's coming out of high
school with 94 speed and 93 XL. He's
also a gem as a gem fivestar already
committed. Rodenhauser, I hardly know
her. Speed survive receiver. I want to
get some speed on this team. Honestly,
just working on a bunch of monster four
and five stars and already got a lot of
these guys to commit. I got Frankie
Louvu coming in at running back. That's
definitely what I'm going to call him.
The big thing I want right now though is
a tight end. We've got Trent Logan here.
6'4 vertical threat tight end with some
interesting stats. 84 speed, 87. Nothing
crazy. He's only high schooler though,
so it's okay. Just work on all the
absolute dogs we can. Now, the next big
game is Ohio State. So, we're 8-1 right
now. We did drop one game. That was last
week to unranked Iowa of all teams, but
we just couldn't get the job done. Now,
this Ohio State game isn't that
important. We're ranked 10th in the
nation right now. And Ohio State's five
and four. They're actually really
struggling. You never see Ohio State
struggle, but Ohio State is ass right
now. Also, can we just talk about the
fact that Michigan State is number seven
in the nation and we are predicted to
play them in the first round of the
college football playoffs. I've never
seen Michigan State be good in a
dynasty. It's pretty freaking cool. I
don't know what's going on with Ohio
State, but here's the thing. Last time I
played Ohio State was a bitter bitter
loss. This is my rival. This game
matters so much to me. Even if in, you
know, the grand scheme of things it
shouldn't, I have not once gotten to
wear my Coastal Connect uniforms, so
we're wearing them today, even though
this game doesn't really make a lot of
sense for it. And we'll put Ohio State
in something with a little more color.
Actually, that is literally perfect.
Look at the Coastal Connects, bro. Look
at the male cheerleaders. What kind of
[ __ ] is that? I should be allowed to
make the cheerleaders female only. It's
my program. Third and seven's our first
moment. We're in scoring range and I'm
about to just chuck this [ __ ] to tie to
Tai Bigs. I'm doing it.
[ __ ] IT. TY BIGS DOWN THERE SOMEWHERE.
GREEN. OH, that wasn't a green. Wow,
that would have been a great way to
start this game. Damn, it's bright out
in San Diego. Whoa, I'm him. Money kick.
It's bright. And would you look at this
on fourth and two, Ohio State's going to
go for the punt here. Let's get
Montgomery over here. Try and get a nice
little extra block. Whoa, dude. They
updated the punt CPU cuz the CPU has
been punt dotting. And now States's got
a first and goal. Well, that's things
you don't want to see on your moment.
It's got to be a run, though. It's got
to be an inside zone. It's just too
obvious. Okay, that's fine by me. Little
ankle biter tackle taking out the
kneecaps and they're going to lose four.
Now they're in a little bit of a heavier
set with two tight ends. This really
could be the run. Another RPO.
So many bodies in there. Nice work,
boys. Now they're actually passing this
time. They You got to imagine I'm going
out of shape. Dude, my linebacker subs
are so wonk. Come on. No.
Who is this guy? I shot out of a cannon
for that. a nighttime game in San Diego.
I like this. Okay, Micah Henderson. But
of course, it's third and nine for my
moment. So, I'm gonna have to go a
little bit more aggressive. I'm gonna
put Furio on a route. I got Luna on a
route. Luna out there running routes.
Sure.
Absolutely. Bulldozed by the DTackle.
And I got to put up another field goal.
I got two moments. Third and long. I got
to be able to play EA. This is my Ohio
State rivalry game. Okay, don't cuck me.
Next moment's going to be your defense
needs your help. Yeah, there it is. All
right. Thanks. Appreciate it. Third and
14. That ain't bad. They got to pass
here. I'm I'm going on the group Meister
hovering the middle. I don't mind a
checkdown.
What are you doing? How you get blocked
there, buddy. Fourth and three. Huge
play. They got to kick this field goal.
I imagine they do. And then we scored.
Come on. I want to do it. I want to do
it to Ohio State. Wildcat. Wildat.
Wildat. Wildcat and the coastal connect.
These look like high school jerseys. I
look like a shitty seven on 17.
Do I not look like some [ __ ] you'd
see at a seven on 7:30? Or are these
low-key goated? I think it looks like
some [ __ ] I'd see on 7:30. But you
know what? Look at Mike's [laughter]
pink leg sleeve. Yeah, that kind of
gives it away. Second and four, holding
the lead. Ooh, what a good swim move
from that linebacker, but luckily we
were behind it. First and 10, the RPO.
Oh, Duca. If Duca can get around that,
I'm about to run QB slot option, baby.
No, let's keep passing. We're passing
the ball really well right now. What you
got, Micah? Easy one. Easy one, Micah.
Ohio State Burns their second timeout.
They've only got one left. They've got
the two-minute warning. We got a
three-point lead. Let's go Rio Peaks on
Bubble. Why not give Peaks on Bubble
here? This actually looks pretty good. I
think Henderson's going to be a really
nice look on this first and 10. Yeah.
Oh, that looks money. Big spin. That's
dirty plank call right there. 13 to 10.
We're almost in the clear. We're going
with the monster. Oh, that's [ __ ] up.
Guys, this formation is gross. The
monster stack. I don't think they call
it that anymore, but like it widens out
so much that when they're in a formation
like this, you just need your lineman to
block a linebacker.
And they can do that. Even if it's Ohio
State, we're almost I mean, yes, we can
shoot the clock, but really we can just
go score. Two possession lead with under
two minutes. That's crazy. If you tell
me QB Neil, I think we technically can
QB Neil. [ __ ] Ohio State. [ __ ] Ohio
State. I'm going to score first and 10.
Let's go find a way. But I could also
find a way to sell this game. That's a
possibility. Furio, we're going to go
motion. That's a fun play. Motioning our
tight end to lead block on the outside
zone. Oh wow. I ran that so poorly.
That's touchdown up to God. But the
clock does still lend to us cuz we can
just we can just let the game end. But I
want to win it. I want to like I want to
embarrass Ohio State. [ __ ] Ohio State.
Here we go. Big snap. Big play action.
Lunas.
Who the [ __ ] are you? This is what I
get. Oh my god. Now I have to stop them.
Who the [ __ ] is that guy? Is that Troy
Palamalu? He was manned up on somebody
else. Get a safety. It'll be so funny.
No,
they have no timeouts, guys. Guys, this
is what I This is my hatred for Ohio
State's about to lose me a game. Whoa,
that was weird. Okay, that was a spike.
Weird looking spike, but a spike
nonetheless. They stopped the clock.
Feel like they didn't need to do that,
you know. Okay, L, let's make a big play
here, kid. Ooh, that left side looks a
little open. Oh. OH, YOU'RE IN TROUBLE
NOW. Christian Duca just got home.
You're in You're in a lot of trouble.
I'm blitzing Lyles. Oh [ __ ]
Almost got the safety. Come on guys. Can
we get home here? I'm on Zack Queen.
They pretty much got to air mail this
thing. Oh, that's actually kind of a
money play. I can still score. I can
still score. 13 to 10. First and goal.
It's all but over. It was before, too.
Go Anderson. [music]
Time out. [ __ ] you, Ryan Day. Come on.
We're running full house. Come on, baby.
Right back to Luna. Excuse me. That's
touchdown. What am I missing? What did I
Oh my god, my running back. I hit my
running back's helmet. This game is
doodoo. This game is doodoo dog water.
Tie bags. Tie bags. Tie bags. Tie bags.
Tie bags. Tie bags. Good route, bigs.
[ __ ] him. [ __ ] ME.
YEAH, BUDDY. And there's 1 second on the
clock. So, down 10. We still kick the
ball off to Ohio State. Now we just got
to do a little insult to injury. I mean,
come on. Right. Oh, get home. No, you
fraudulent special teamer, you [ __ ] I
was like, kick [ __ ] Ohio State. Add
insult to injury. LEAVE NO DOUBT. Lay
his ass out. Lay his ass out. Show me
the money. Show me the big Yahoomeckles.
I'm never bringing out the Coastal
Connects again. There is no way that
that is the player of the game. And not
Tai Bigs, by the way. That was pit
right. That was I mean, generally
speaking, that was a pretty pitiful
performance. We beat Ohio State, though.
Beat Ohio State. I'm really interested
in this potential conference
championship game. Is it going to be a
Big 10 championship against Michigan
State cuz that would be awesome slash
sad, but it' be awesome. Oh,
interesting. So, it ends up being the
Corn Huskers. So, now we're number four
in the nation. Oklahoma, Tennessee,
Colorado, Coastal, USF are the top
teams. Nebraska's in there, too. So, if
it all settled right now, what would be
the playoff bracket? Looks like we're
going to make the playoff. So, if we win
here against Nebraska, we get the buy
and it's either TCU or USF, unless that
changes, but still, that'd be very
favorable. I think this win here against
Nebraska would be kind of essential. I
need to dig into my playbook and bring
out some much better stuff. I don't
think that Ohio State game was very
good. In fact, I know it wasn't good. I
think this game, relatively speaking,
should be easier. But let's actually
let's run a real offense and let's get
ready for the playoffs cuz the playoffs
are inevitably after this. Okay, big
first quarter drive. What kind of
offense do we want to run? First things
first, I think outside handoffs are
going to benefit our running back
really, really well. I kind of want to
run some strong sets. Why is Westerman
in at quarterback in the Big 10 [ __ ]
championship, EA? I'd love to hear the
answer on that one. Henderson. Oh, wow.
That could have been a really good cut.
I got to know EA. What the [ __ ] are we
talking about here? Okay, so Mike Aliato
is not injured. He's not wear and
tearred. They just chose Westerman to be
in here.
I'm so confused.
Get the ball into Wade who kind of got
his ass worked. Do not tell me that
Micah Alejand is injured. Oh my god,
Micah Allejo is injured. Well, thank god
we have Preston Westerman at all cuz
he's really not bad. 84 overall, 84
speed. Lane Cutler's ready. How bad is
it? Oh, this is so bad. We're about to
hit the playoffs. Nick John has a broken
collarbone. Alihado has a partial MCL
tear. Wolford has a dislocated ankle.
These are like two of my These are the
best guys on the team is Alejad and
Woler outside of Henderson. Oh my god. I
don't know if they're going to be back.
At least we have a buy. If we win this
game, we have a buy. Oh, that's so bad.
Okay, Henderson, you got to carry us.
Oh, and he will. Oh, and he will.
Henderson, you get you don't have a
choice, buddy. You really don't.
Will Henderson's balling out to start
this game out. I might go deep to Bigs.
I like what Nebraska's running here.
Do they stick a safety over the top of
that? They do. Okay, we're going to take
the easy one. That's okay. That's fine.
I was hoping to get single coverage
there. Okay, let's go with wide rece.
Wow, I really got to lock in now. This
is big. Nebraska does have a star
corner, but I still so trust Bigs. It's
a blitz. Okay, sure. Why don't you block
nobody? And and Deontay Wallace can come
untouched. Why don't we do that? Third
and 10. Got to make a big play.
Henderson. Wow. Who's manned up on him?
Halfway across the field. I think we go
Ross Duca. Ross Duca 6'5 over there in
single coverage. GIVE HIM A SHOT. BANG.
[screaming]
SHUT your eyes. There's kids in the
audience. And he's on the Nebraska side.
And I don't know what the hell that I
think he just threw the ball in the
trash can. I'm going to go with a
similar look. I feel like they got to
put a safety over top of [music] that.
They do, but you got to let me go for
this on fourth and one. They say field
goal. I totally disagree. Where? What is
this defense, Nebraska? What the [ __ ] is
this defense, Nebraska? Henderson's
going to walk up the middle for like 50.
Oh, what a piss poor block. Oh, you got
to give me something better than that.
That's a touchdown. We got a touchdown
anyway. I've never seen that defense
before. It's like they were in a punt
return defense. Okay, fourth and goal
though. Nebraska's going for this. Is it
a run? No, it's a pass. Dropping back
for the pass. He throws. Good catch.
Good play. And we've got another
defensive stop this time. Third and
seven. And I'm going on Groupy. Okay,
they're going to motion the running back
out. group. He's blitzing. He's not
home. Wait a minute. Good.
What a swat.
That's such a huge play. Looking at a
first and 10. Westerman can run the read
option. Listen, Westerman was always a
good option. It was never, you know,
West Holy [ __ ] No, we can't run the
speed option. You just chuck it at HIS
BACK. HOLY [ __ ] Sea otterters look
alive. We've never done that before.
That's a new one for me. I'll be honest.
We're going across. Crossers money. Holy
[ __ ] What just happened? Nebraska has
turned into a very, very scary team very
quickly. Okay, third and 18. I'm just
handing this off. I'm not risking
anymore. Wait a minute.
I had a chance. You saw what I saw,
right? Fourth and seven. Let's get it on
the left side here.
Okay. Well, that was A PRETTY DAMN GOOD
PUTT. NOT QUITE A PUTT DOT. It should be
returnable, but if we can get through
this blocker money. Wow. This is big.
This is big. That's really good defense
on Nebraska. I'm back on the groupy. I
mean, they can run this. Back to the AR.
Ooh. Oh, a low LIGHT INTO A HIGHLIGHT.
GOOD BLOCK.
The voices in my head want to PITCH IT
SO BAD, BUT I WANT TO WIN MORE. WAIT,
that was one of the craziest plays in
Otter's history. I got my actual That's
how you dislocate an ankle and end up on
the injury report. Ankles busted into a
fumble six. Oh my god. In the Big 10
Championship. Look at this play. First
guy coming up to tackle. Legitimately
sat on his ass. He got laid out though.
Picked up by Mike Vaughn. And that's an
insane block right there cuz I was going
to get caught. Mike Vaughn was not
faster than that guy. And we take it
into the end zone for a fumble six.
Gargantuan moment. Big 10 championship's
over. Oh my.
Come on, coach.
Come on. That's crazy. That was going to
come down to it. Who's the player of the
game? We got to be the fumble six,
right? Maybe Henderson. Wow, dude. Now I
got to go monitor this. I got to go
monitor this injury report. The injury
report is the biggest part of this game.
You don't get any pop-ups when your guys
get injured in Sim. They just kind of
get injured and then, you know, you
could manually go to the injury report
every game. Micah, what are you doing?
Micah, get the [ __ ] Micah, you got a
partially torn MCL. You see him in
there? All I was in there. What the
freak? You should be should be healing
up for the playoffs, buddy. Should be in
the ice bath right now. Pause. Resume.
Let me join. Pause. Resume. Single
season record broken. Woo. Typig has set
the Coastal single season receptions
record. By the way, it doesn't reset
records when you make a custom team. So,
these are the actual records from Purdue
prior to me turning Purdue into Coastal
Sea. So, that's a real record broken.
It's not like you always break a record
cuz they're a brand new team. So, it's
actually pretty cool. Big 10 champions.
Duh. Ty Bigs was insane with that catch.
Hopefully, that catch broke the record.
That would have made it way cooler.
Okay, we just need I don't think it's
this week, but it's the week after. The
good news is we have week 16 is a buy
entirely. And we're getting more four
and five star commits, which is huge.
But here's the thing. So week 16 should
be a buy. Glenn Montgomery big 10. Yeah.
Oh, 353 and one for Ty. I was confused
why we just saw Montgomery cuz it was
Mike Vaughn who scored the touchdown.
Maybe it was Montgomery who coughed up
the fumble. Doesn't matter. It really
doesn't. Or maybe it was Montgomery who
had the interception. I'm not entirely
sure. More commits. Hey, that's the big
one. Actually, this is the one. Well,
it's a verbal commit. It's not a hard
commit. But Trent Logan, the the tight
end I want the most. I have no good
tight ends on this roster. Got Javon
Hooks as well. Wide receiver. In classic
EA fashion, there's no option to skip
this. So, every season, despite not
being in the running. Got to listen to
this jackass tell me the same thing
every year. Who are the Heisman guys,
though? Deuce Knight, that's a lot of
touchdowns. I ain't going to lie to you
on that. Damn. Bear Bachmeire, LSU. And
I'm going to Tavian St. Clair on
Tennessee. Do we win any awards this
season? No. So, we have the initial buy
and then our first round of the
playoffs. So, we did get the buy. I
mean, obviously you get the buy. You win
the Big 10 championship. You're ranked
second in the nation, which is kind of
crazy. And our Rose Bowl game is against
number seven Boise State. That feels
like a really favorable matchup. I got
to go look into this injury report,
though. Holy [ __ ] I don't think Alejad
is back. No. Oh my god. So, Nick John.
Nick John is actually good and he's been
very good for us. One more week and he's
back in. So next round of the playoffs
he'd be back in. The compound foot
fracture for Billy Strange. He's fully
out. He's a sophomore, so hopefully he
comes back next season. He's fully out.
Wolford doesn't even come back for the
natty. That is the highest overall
player on this team. He's done for the
season. Allehad though, two weeks. Two
weeks. Let's look at this bracket. So
the first week of that is this week as
number seven Boise State takes on number
two Coastal Otterers. The six seed
Colorado is taking on the three seed
Oklahoma. That's week one. The second
week is whoever we play here. So either
Colorado and Oklahoma. If we can beat
Boise State and then Colorado, Oklahoma
in the national championship against
either Miami, USF, Nebraska, or
Tennessee, Micah Aleja would come back.
So Westerman's going to have to get us
there. Holy [ __ ] No way that happened.
It's honestly a really cool story line.
And I It makes me so glad that we never
abandoned, you know, Westerman. We
didn't like put all of our eggs in Aloha
basket. We spent a lot of NIL money on
him, you know, and Lane Cutler. I mean,
even if Westerman got hurt, Lane Cutler
I don't hate either, but Westerman's
been with us for a while. Preston
Westerman can the 85 overall. Preston
Westerman take us through not one but
two College playoff games. I think Boise
State's pretty favorable for us,
especially in this round. I think
Oklahoma is what's really scary. If
Oklahoma beats Colorado, then I'm really
I'm I'm scared for Westerman. Now, what
is he compared to Alejad? He's honestly
quite similar. He's right-handed, which
I like better. His medium accuracy is
like weirdly low, but everything else is
really good. He's a lot slower. Well,
he's not that much slower than Alejando.
He's right-handed Alihado with a few
stats worse. I think the biggest piece
of the entire puzzle is Will Henderson.
Will Henderson is in full perfect
health, so that does mean the most to
me. Deshawn Redau is next up. He's got
gold tier shifty, so he's really, really
good, too. And then, of course, Tai Bigs
has just been insane. This been our best
wide receiver by far. He's been so good.
Duca is always an option, too. He caught
a huge one. And Billy Strange is
injured. So it's actually been Cornell
Teague the freshman. So that's Billy
Strange is out too. I mean he doesn't
have a chance coming back. And then I
mean we're working on recruiting good
tight ends but Shawn Wade just is going
to have to close us out. Wow. Okay. And
all this fuss I've forgot to spend my
coach points. I've got 155 from this
season. Recruiter is darn near done
which is really good. That's what we've
been working hard. Final for DB, final
for wide receiver, tight end, and the
two final for quarterback. And the
biggest thing is transfers are more
interested and I've been building a lot
of this team in that transfer portal. So
this upcoming transfer portal is going
to be so much easier for us. We have
reduced NIL expectations from our staff.
We have maxed out recruiter tree for
transfers outside of kickers and
punters. Kickers are people too.
Although one thing I didn't consider is
Boise State is 14-0. I was talking about
this like it's a favorable matchup and I
I'm sure it technically is overall wise,
but 14-0 is scary. Show me this team.
Show me this Boise State team. Boise
State, their best player is a kicker.
Got relatively low overall, but so do
we. Monster DTackle. Achilles Smith,
monster quarterback. Rashawn Jones,
really solid wide receiver, good
corners, no speed demons to worry about.
Jaylen Wembley, their running back, is
relatively fast with low acceleration. I
think the thing that gets you is 99
speed wide receivers. That's where you
get bombed on. They don't have it. In
fact, this is what I mean by favorable.
They're 14-0, so they're going to have,
you know, EA shenanigans on their side,
but they're not better than our team.
We're a higher overall. Wow. Well, this
is a pretty crazy season ahead of us
here. The college football playoff
bracket is ready, but our starting
quarterback, our most expensive player,
Mike Alejado, is not. We've got to
survive two weeks to bring him back for
the natty, which is a script that I
couldn't write any better. But Preston
Westerman has got to do it. He's got to
find a way to get us there so Aliato can
close it. And it starts at Boise State.
I LOVE YOU BOYS. THANKS FOR WATCHING.
Next episode is episode six. What will
they say in episode 6? Huh? What will
they say? I love you boys. Thanks for
watching as always. I'LL SEE YOU IN THE
NEXT ONE. PEACE.
