The feature bot in this video is a brand
new Transformers Hot Wheels
Collaborative GT Scorcher. I had to pick
this figure up because I absolutely
loved the last two Hot Wheels
Transformer figures that we got. So,
we've taken a quick look at the
packaging. Absolutely love this. We got
Hot Wheels in this corner, Mattel in
that corner, Transformers across the top
with great looking artwork of GT
Scorcher in robot mode and vehicle mode.
There's GT himself in vehicle mode
behind that plastic bubble. GT Scorcher
there on the bottom. Flipping it over on
the back, we got some great looking
product shots of GT Scorcher in robot
mode and vehicle mode. Like I said, this
package is fantastic. I love it. But
that's not gonna stop me from ripping
him open out of this packaging and

Now, once you get GT Scorcher all opened
up and out of the packaging, you'll see
that he does come with a sheet of
instructions, that as usual is very well
illustrated and easy to follow. And
then, of course, we've got GT Scorcher
himself packed in his vehicle mode. And
this may just be the Gwer in me. I
absolutely love when Transformers come
packaged in their vehicle mode. It makes
the robot mode so much more of a
surprise. Now, GT here is an homage to
the original Hot Wheels GT Scorcher, and
I think he pulls off that look really,
really good. Absolutely love the color
scheme with the red, white, and black.
Uh, got a Hot Wheels logo right there on
the side. Both sides, actually. [music]
But the way that's designed, it kind of
cuts off the top of the logo. I do wish
maybe that was a little lower so you can
get the whole logo in, but it's still
not too bad. Looking at the front of the
vehicle, we got some white stripes,
another Hot Wheels logo right there,
little Autobot insignia, and lots of
translucent [music] amber plastic. We
got amber for the headlights here on top
of the hood and all of the windows. Now,
I don't mind the lights and the windows
that much, but really not a fan of the
translucent plastic on the hood right
there. I just I It's just not me. I'm
not a big fan of translucent plastic,
especially when you can look through and
see all the robot junk on the inside. Uh
let's see. You got big number eight
right there. Some more black. The uh
back side's a little plain, but still
this is a fantastic looking vehicle.
[music] And he rolls really good, man.
He just zips right across the tabletop.
Now for some quick vehicle comparisons.
Here he is with fellow Hot Wheels
Transformer Twin Meal. They're both
about the same size, but then you bring
in I believe this is Age of the Primes
Hot Shot. There's quite a bit of a size
difference right there. So now let's get
GT Scorcher transformed into his robot
mode. He's got a pretty [music] cool
transformation. What we're going to do
first is take the back end here and
we're going to pull this apart. So, you
want to untab
these sections here, which are the feet.
And you're going to untab them right
there as [music] well. And you might as
well go ahead and pull off this spoiler
right here with the hot wheels on it.
Put that to the side. We'll need that
later on. After this is separated,
you're going to reach in and unfold
these panels. And then this little piece
is going to fall out. I'll show you
where that goes. We get this other panel
out. This piece actually
pegs in. You can see where that curve
is. That pegs in right there that's
going to form another part of his
weapon. So, we've got that going on.
Let's go ahead and go underneath the
vehicle. [music] Flip out these panels
for the robot arms. Bringing those all
the way up. And now, we're going to
unfold the legs right there at the knee.
Just go ahead and bring that all the way
down.
And now with the feet right here, you're
going to unfold the gray section. And
then just bring this down here. See it?
How it's on a hinge? [music] Rotate the
black section facing the front. The gray
section goes up. And then we're just
going to peg that back together. Same
thing here on the other side. Bring that
down. Flip it around. And you got a
little peg right there that's going to
peg in
right there. Can you see that? So that
pretty much takes care of the legs. Now,
for this little spoiler under the front
of the vehicle, you'll unsnap it, fold
it down and around so it collapses up
inside the hood. That way, you can bring
this up and around. And you got two pegs
right here that are going to slide in
right there on that spoiler.
Peg that in right there. And then you're
going to bring this section down and
around revealing the robot head. Bring
the arms around just like so. And then
you're going to straighten the arms out
and rotate them around. Bring the fists
up. Same thing on the other side.
Straighten out. Rotate around.
And there we go.
Let's see. From here, we're going to
take these wheels on the shoulder, flip
those down, bring it around, and then
bring the wheels down around the arms.
It'll kind of clip in right there in
that little groove. Same thing here on
the other side. Flip down and around.
And let's see. Get those shoulders
pegged in. And there you go, guys. There
is GT Scorcher in his robot mode. Let me
kind of zoom that camera out a little
bit. And there we have GT Scorcher
looking awesome. I love the looks of
this robot mode. The color scheme from
the vehicle carries over so well. Bring
him in for a closer look. Check out that
head sculpt. That is fantastic. [music]
Great looking face as well done up in
silver. He's got this really cool little
smirk. And he looks to have light
piping. So, let me bring in my lamp
right here. So, yeah, that's awesome.
He's got some nice bright orange light
piping. Looks like the light actually
goes through the translucent amber into
the orange. So, that's that's neat. I'm
glad they didn't give him amber eyes. I
dig that. I love it when a Transformer
has good light piping. Let's see. The
chest is the hood from the vehicle. I
don't like the translucent right there.
Moving on down for the waist. It's
combination of silver and black. Silver
thighs with some black there. The shins,
let's see, are black. Red knees. A
little bit of red there as well. So, all
in all, man, I I love this robot mode.
Cleans up really good. Doesn't have a
lot of backpack. And let's see. Let's
get into articulation. Now, the head, I
don't think it's on a ball joint. It's
on a swivel. Mine is really tight. And
for some reason, he can only look to the
right. I am trying my damnedest [music]
to turn his head to the left. It's not
going. I mean, good god. Look at my
thumb right there. So, yeah, he can only
look right.
So, uh, let's see. Arms. Let's see. We
got complete shoulder rotation. Arms go
all the way up. Let's see. There's also
another ro bend right there. There's
elbow bend. Elbow rotation. Let's see.
No wrist rotation. There is waist
rotation. Legs go forward, legs go back.
Nice deep knee bend. There is a little
bit of an ankle tilt. And of course, the
feet can rotate. Now, the feet are weird
on this figure because you kind of lock
them in. See the little pegs right there
or whatever. If those aren't locked in
right, he won't stand correctly. So, you
kind of have to peg the feet in a little
bit, which I think's odd, but it keeps
him from falling over. So, let's bring
in his weapons. Now, we have this one
here that fell out from underneath the
back of the car. As you can see, that is
a little red blade. And then we have the
spoiler that you actually transform into
a weapon. It's got a handle that folds
out here and then a little tip that
folds out forming a another blade. So
you could have him dual wielding these
blades or the way it's shown in the
instructions is you give him this
double-bladed sword kind of like what
Thanos had in the Avengers. So you'll
put one in the top of his hand
and one here at the bottom. So you've
got that doublebladed weapon going on if
you can get it to stay in. So let's see.
Is that [music] too far in on this side?
Doesn't want to go in. Okay, there we
go. Little tricky, but there is his
doublebladed
weapon with [music] product placement.
So yeah, a very awesome figure. I am
really happy I picked this one up.
Hasbro's just been killing it with these
Hot Wheels Transformers. [music]

great Transformers toy. It's always so
cool to get brand new unique figures and
GT Scorcher here hits the mark

Love the vehicle mode. Love the robot
mode. Pretty fun transformation. The
only real complaint I have with him is I
wish his head would turn, but maybe if I
work it a little bit, it'll finally pop
loose. But my god is mine stuck. I guess
another complaint with this figure would
be the price tag. This guy here is going
for $34.99,
which is a little high. I guess we're
paying for that Hot Wheels trademark.
But still, I think this is a great
figure. And I'm looking forward to
seeing what other Hot Wheels cars can be
