This Game Would Clinch the Playoffs! Wheel of CUT Ep. #16

The wheel of college, THE PENULTIMATE GAME, BOYS. WE MADE IT. OUR RECORD IS four and two. And last game was a certified hood classic. It was back and forth all game long, but the tide really changed when we threw a bomb post route to Jeremiah Smith for a huge touchdown. After that, my opponent stepped up to throw to a wide receiver and overthrew it. Brandon Jordan not only got the pick, but a pick six and we steamrolled that lead into a 40 bomb. Not only that, but we put up 198 team rushing yards, taking our seasonlong challenge to 98 out [music] of a,000 plus. We are 92 rushing yards away from a jackpot. Now, keep in mind, it's literally win or go home. If we win today, we make the playoffs. If we lose, the team resets. So, not only do I want those rushing yards, but I desperately want a win as well. The team is in a spectacular spot. A quick rage quit last episode got us an 88 overall left tackle. The offensive line is loaded. We got one of the best tight ends in the game. Our wide receivers are balling out. We've got Eastern Michigan's Nick Devo, who is actually a huge competitor last game. LT and Bo Jackson speak for themselves. And DJ Lagway has only played one game, but his stats were insane. He threw four touchdowns on 92% completion. It was one of my best quarterback games ever. And miraculously, we have made it this far with Evan Johnson, BYU corner at strong safety. So, my main objective today is to get a monster strong safety into this lineup. Maybe some depth at that position as well, and maybe upgrade Chris Peele, too. And since we dropped 40 points or more last game, I'm going to be opening 2025 Bowman Chrome and adding one player to the team. This is actually how we got DJ Lagway from a previous 40b. Now, these packs are a little different. They only have four cards in them, so we'll open two, but hopefully we don't need it. Our first player is Adrien Norton. Okay. Roco Beck. Ooh, clean. Gunner Stockton and Mazo Bennett Jr. Maio Bennett Jr. Tell you right now, I don't recognize any of those outside of Gunner. We got Trent Walker, Tanner Kosel, who I believe is in the National Football League now. That's a sick card. Nebraska wide receiver, Jaka Barney Jr., and last is AJ Turner. Those were low-key ass. I'm doing one more. I'm cheating. Cry about it. Chase Roberts. Luke. Oh, that's a sick car. Luke Altmire. Damn, these are Dude, none of these dudes are in college anymore. Joe Royer, Zabian Brown, Alabama. I think he is in the game. That's so ironic. I got 2025 because they haven't dropped 26 yet. College changes fast. Zabian Brown is not half bad. He'll probably go in for Chris Peele. 85 speed, 6' corner. It's not groundbreaking, but we'll take it. So, defense gets a minor side grade, let's call it, with Zabian Brown. And we've got three wheel spins to add to this team. Three final wheel spins of the regular season. And whether we win or lose, the regular season is over. And our first is packs. Okay. I mean, my team is pretty loaded out, so packs are not that helpful here. But if I could get an 86 overall or better corner or safety, that'd be awesome. Maybe we could land a left guard. Maybe I could land an 86 overall or better wide receiver. I could still get a tight end, too, cuz Azie Newsome is my backup right now. He's not that good. So, we can only open packs that cost coins. There's a Prime Prospects booster pack. 382 plus 380 plus that should decent chance at some good players here. Honestly, anything 86 overall or better is exactly what we're looking for. Our first prime prospect. Oh my god. That's exactly what we need. We got Jonel Aguero. Honell Aguero. I don't know. He's a free safety. He's a little short. He's not exactly a monster, but it's better than Evan Johnson at strong safety. So, we'll absolutely take that. First player is perfect. Prime prospect number two is not going to help us. I can just tell you that right now. Sunday spotlight. Want to go? Oh. Oh, RYAN NOLAN. A TRUE strong safety. Also a little under sized, but 88 speed, 90 tackle. He's going to be a unit. Ryan Nolan. I passed up on him a while ago. I have no idea what that animation is. Okay, I guess that's supercharged. This is a heater pack to start with and we get three of them. Elliot Washington won't make the lineup and that's an 80 overall despite the awesome animation. It's Kevin Mway who also won't make the lineup, but Ryan Nolan, starting strong safety, no question. And Honell Aguero can be the backup strong safety. What an awesome first pack. There's a new promo called game of the week. This contains [snorts] 383 plus 40% chance at an 87 overall or better. Dude, I hardly open packs anymore. This is kind of cool. Okay, Jaden Craig, you're not going to do it for us, buddy. You are not going to do it for us. Oh, so the game of the week is TCU North Carolina. Oh, hey Nick Devo, Bill Bichc with the upset on TCU and Donovan Olette Jr. None of these guys will make the team unfortunately because Nick Devo has already made the team. You win some, you lose some. I think the last pack I want to do is this rush defensive trench pack. So, it's only linebackers, Dines, or any position current limiteds, which isn't the best cuz my Dline is pretty good, but I could use a DTackle. Also, this pack has the best odds of anything available. There's a small chance we get a a genuine insane limited. So, this is worth it. A Rush Limited would completely transform this team. We start out with a core. John Henry Dailyaly. You are in the wrong sport, buddy. You should be a NASCAR. John Henry Dailyaly. Not going to make our team. This is a what's this called? Cornerstones. Sam Green. Not My squad's too good sometimes. I would take a fullback here. I'd take Mike all full legend Chris Long. He I mean, technically, I could put him at DTackle, too. I don't know if he'd be good there, but 86 Chris Long as well as a supercharge. What do you got? Whoa. Jaden Ospberry, 88 overall strongside linebacker. I'll find a home for him. My linebackers are really good, but we will definitely find him a home. And Genon Weathersby is not going to make it. So, all three of you are not going to make it. Chris Long and Jaden absolutely have a chance to make this lineup. No question. So, first things first, Jaden Osbury versus Caleb Bacon. Straight up. Caleb Bacon's three inches taller. He's only a speed slower. Osberry's got good coverages and pass rush. This is an interesting card. Bad man coverage. I'm going to move Jaden to middle linebacker one and Maverick to middle linebacker two. Wow, those packs were huge. We basically got every position we needed. Got a bunch of dupes that we couldn't use, but and I do technically have 80 overall Chris Long in right now, so I can replace him with his better cell. You know what I'm going to do? I am actually going to put Chris Long at DTackle, too. He's an 86 overall. He's significantly faster than Latrell Bullard. I want to be able to QB5 from this spot. I actually I think this is going to work. I ran an edge rusher at DTackle last season and it was pretty damn good. So, Chris Long will actually start. See if it pays off. Three packs this late in the season is usually not very good wheel spin, but it did work out for us right there. Our second wheel spin is going to be an 85 choice. Ah, we're hoping for something better than that. I mean, I could do plus one to left guard. I think we go back up tight end for Aussie. Azie Newsome is an 81 overall tight end. We could take any 85 in the game. We also could take a tight end that has a good prestige option. That's always a good idea, too. I'm going to pay my respects. You know who's an 85 overall tight end? Trey Ez Green, our LSU team captain, who eventually got upgraded to a 90 overall. Uh, still 6'7. We're going to pay homage. He's only the backup tight end. You probably won't get too many reps, but we're happy to have you back, Tradez. So, now it's Ethan Davis, Tradez Green, Aussie Newsome. Kind of interesting. 3 2 1 spin. All that's left is the challenge wheel. Completing this challenge gives me one if any pack in the store. And I was just about to say I hope it lands on this. I want my redemption on this one. Last time we had this challenge, I couldn't get the sack or maybe the TFL. I'm not sure which. But I need a TFL, a sack, and an interception. A TFL, by the way, is a tackle for loss, which means I have to tackle the ball carrier before the line of scrimmage. And it can't be a sack. I know technically they might be the same thing, but I'm counting them separately. I've got to sack the QB and I've got to make a great gap shot on a running back. And what's this team? Team stats dominated every single category other than passing yards. Also, my two-point conversions were ass. I'll admit my two-point conversions were ass. But we have 166 team rushing yards. We only needed 92. So, we absolutely nailed that one. 23 rushes, two touchdowns. Only nine passes completed. That's why I love the go- go. Okay, Lagway. Not his best game. I mean, he still went 9 for 12 and two touchdowns. Actually was still a pretty efficient game for him, but he did miss some big ones. Thomasson's 14 for 130 in a Tutty. Bows 4 for 21 in a Tutty. Lagway gets 17 yards on five carries. And uh Jeremiah Smith, holy three for 90 and two touchdowns. He was crazy. Ethan Davis caught two. Bo caught one. LT caught three. But then defensively, our brand new backup had a huge interception. That was Honell Aguero. Jonel Aguero. I don't know. Brendan Jordan had a huge one. Backto-back games interception for him. Tatum had one and a half. Landino and Matthews had one. and Dylan Stewart had half a sack. Great defense. Also, I mean, our the game is showing that we had two, four, five, six, seven, eight TFLs, four sacks, and two interceptions. So, we crushed that challenge, too. So, we were averaging about 130 rushing yards a game, which is which is honestly still crazy. More like 150, but crazy, but we got it done, which gives me a jackpot, meaning at the start of next episode, I can get one of any single player in the game to lead us into the playoffs. There's a 91 Terrell Prior. There's a 91 Randy Moss. We've already got Tatum. There's a Ryan Shazir. He'd be insane as a user. 90 speed. Oh my god, he'd be crazy. We could pick up that Le Michael James and make this go go go offense even more lethal. There's a Byron Jones. There's an Aaron Donald. There's so so so many monster cards that we can pick up and we get to pick whoever. Now, I'm not going to pick up the player right now just in case before next episode a really good player drops so I can pick it up then. But right now, I'm leaning towards Randy Moss, Ryan Shazir, Aaron Donald, La Michael James. Those four I'm leaning towards for sure. We made it, boys. Next episode is the first round of the college football playoffs. We'll have to fight through three games in the playoffs if we want to make the national championship.
