Video summary

The video features an in-depth review of the Aklot drum throne, a product sent by the brand for evaluation and available on Amazon. The reviewer highlights that he selected the version featuring a skull design on top, noting its popularity and aesthetic appeal. Upon unboxing, the first impression is one of high quality, reinforced by the inclusion of two pairs of unlacquered drumsticks inside the package—a thoughtful touch that adds significant value. The packaging itself contains all necessary components, including the base, the seat with its detailed graphic, and the connecting mechanism, setting a positive tone for the entire assembly process. Assembly is described as straightforward and intuitive, utilizing a collar system similar to a doctor's chair to manage height adjustments securely. The reviewer demonstrates how loosening the collar allows for easy raising or lowering of the throne via a twisting motion, while tightening it locks the position firmly in place to prevent accidental slipping during play. Special attention is given to the non-slip feet at the base, which ensure stability on slippery floors, and the wing nut mechanism that provides a final 100% lock for safety. The reviewer emphasizes balancing the tension screws equally to maintain structural integrity and smooth operation. Once assembled and tested, the throne delivers an exceptionally solid and comfortable experience, with no wobble or instability felt even under pressure. The seat features a thickened sponge for comfort, while the front displays a crisp, high-resolution graphic that does not appear pixelated or dithered. The reviewer notes that the height adjustment range is versatile enough to accommodate various playing styles and physical needs, allowing users to customize the throne to their exact preference without limitation. This adaptability, combined with the robust build quality, suggests that the product will withstand long-term use and remain reliable over time. In conclusion, the Aklot drum throne is presented as an excellent value proposition that rivals much more expensive options on the market. The reviewer strongly recommends it for drummers of all levels, whether purchasing for personal use or as a gift for loved ones, citing its great price point alongside superior craftsmanship. Every aspect of the product, from the stitching and graphic quality to the functional design of the base and seat, is praised as top-notch. Ultimately, the video asserts that viewers will not regret investing in this throne, encouraging them to check it out today given its high quality, comfort, and affordability.

Hey guys, today we're checking out the Aklot or Aklot drum throne you can find on Amazon. The brand sent this over for me to make a review video about and I'm excited to get into it and see what this thing looks like. So it's a great price. I chose the version that has the skull on top which I think is a really popular one that is very cool. So what we're going to do is unbox it, set it up, review it, the whole thing. You'll get a good understanding of this drum throne and what to expect if you purchase this. So while I'm opening this, I've played the drums now for 35 years and have used tons of thrones. So I think I have a good idea of what um a drum throne should feel like and this right off the bat looks and feels very high quality. So card there from my friends there at I believe it's Aklot Aklot. So in the box right away there are two pairs of drumsticks. That is super cool. These are um great to have. You can't have any enough extra drumsticks. Kind of an unfinished feel to them like an unlacquered drumstick if that makes sense. Probably a 5B or something like that. So these are great. And that's that's not just a special thing cuz they sent me this throne that is included in every box. So inside the box, let me show you what we got. We have our base and then we have we have the base and then we have the throne top. So and then we have the twisty part that goes in it. So let's start by taking out the base. So this is going to be the first thing you usually want to do with a throne. We can unscrew this bottom bit, push it down like this and then tighten it down. So now we have our base here and then we have this bit here that is going to spool into it and connects um our throne top to it. So, we want the part the threading goes in facing down. So, once you get this threaded down, let's see. Rotates clockwise and this is going to be what's setting the height of your throne. So, I think what we're going to want to do is take it to a reasonable height. Then this piece is going to be tightened down. This is like a uh a collar, if you will. We'll take that down and what that'll do on on on many thrones in this one, this is actually a really cool design. This is going to lock in your ability to raise and lower it. So, loosened, I can now raise and lower. And that is going to come into play in a minute when we have our throne on top that the actual um base, I'm sorry, the seat of it. So, now what we can do is take that. Let me drop the box. I'm going to carefully set the base right here in front of my computer screen and I'm going to take this out. And look at that. That is super cool. That's awesome. Very nice detailed graphic. It does not look uh dithered, I think would be the right word or anything like that. Um very crisp. This is a nice squeeze to it. Nice density, I guess you could say on the foam. Very cool design. They have other designs. They have lots you can choose from. Um And got a thickened sponge seat, and it comes with 5A and 7A drumsticks is what it says. And one thing to note too on here is that it's got non-slip, really nice um feet, which are important because if you're playing somewhere and the ground is slippery, this thing is not going anywhere. It is absolutely dialed in. So, on the bottom, there are there is the two the normal two screws. There's kind of the uh wing nut side, I guess. I don't know what you call this kind of screw. It's on every kind of throne out there. You want to I I typically try to put both sides equally, and then this will slide on right here, and then tighten. Again, I like to tighten them uh equally. And then, this Think of it as like a doctor's seat. If you're putting a throne on, you can you can raise and lower the height by spinning. So, it's kind of hard to tell right now, but I am lowering this. And then, this collar right here, I tighten that down, and now this thing is not going anywhere. Completely locked in. If you twist it the other way, it will loosen, but it's not going to lower on you, which is really good. And then, oh, this is this is the good good to know. There's a a wing nut right here. This will lock in everything 100%. So, what I'm going to do to show you this, cuz I have like a computer chair here, I'm going to wheel this out. I'm going to sit on this uh bad boy here. Let's see how it feels without hitting my head. Oh, yeah. This throne feels great. This feels great. Very nice totally solid um throne. There's no very comfortable. No issue whatsoever. Feels very solid. I can tell from having played many, many thrones that this is a very high-quality throne and this will stand the test of time. Again, if I want to raise it, I'm back here in the dark. Sorry, hopefully it's you can see me. Um what I can do is just do this motion like a doctor chair and that just took it up in 10 seconds. That just took it up another 3 in. Let's see how high we can get it. Not that I need it to be that high, but you can Every drummer has their own style. So, let me set this here. Um scootch this out of the way. Yeah, I can make this You can make it as high or as low as you want. Um I don't think anyone's going to have any issue with Let me lower it back down and bring it back up on the screen there. So, I don't think anyone's going to have any issues with this being too high or too low. It's got um pretty much every setting you would want in one throne. So, the quality's great. The The stitching is really nice. Very crisp graphic on the front. If you're getting this as a gift for a loved one or a drummer or a grandson and granddaughter, um your husband, your wife, this thing is awesome. This is a tension-grabbing um and the base on the bottom this is solid. All the screws, everything is good about this. Um I would not promote a product that I didn't I didn't actually like and this thing is very cool. So, um thank you to A-Kloud for sending this to me and I think it's really cool. Check it out. You're not going to regret getting this. Again, it's a great price as well. So, highly recommend this throne. Check it out today. Thanks.
