This Bloodline Segment Was Fantastic...Solo Got A Great Reaction From The Crowd
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
Ross returns to discuss a highly entertaining episode of Monday Night Raw, highlighting several key storylines that he felt deserved attention beyond a standard show breakdown. He begins by analyzing the ongoing tension between Stephanie and Becky Lynch regarding the Women's World Championship, noting how their backstage arguments effectively built momentum for a potential triple-threat match involving Liv Morgan. Ross also praises Lyra Valkyria's clean loss to Soul Ruka, arguing that while the match was good, a heel victory might have been necessary to generate more jealousy and interest from casual fans who may not follow *Main Event*. Additionally, he touches upon the Braun Strowner interview segment where Paul Heyman orchestrated a match between Braun and Oba Femi, leaving viewers confused by the sudden shift in alliances and hinting at a deeper, perhaps working, relationship between Heyman and Oba that is currently unsettling Braun.
The highlight of the episode, according to Ross, was the Intercontinental Championship match between Rey Mysterio and Chad Gable, which he describes as one of the best televised matches of the year. Despite Rey's age and past knee issues, he delivered a thrilling performance that kept the crowd engaged throughout the entire bout. The back-and-forth action, including a spectacular sequence involving a 619 around the ring post, showcased why the championship is in great hands. Ross emphasizes that even though Rey did not win, the quality of wrestling and the energy from the audience proved that he can still deliver a complete twenty-minute main event, setting a high standard for future title defenses.
The video concludes with an extensive analysis of the Bloodline segment, which Ross describes as fantastic due to its multiple layers and the crowd's enthusiastic reaction to Solo Sikoa turning on Roman Reigns. After losing to Jey Uso, Solo was forced back into the fold, but instead of submitting to Roman's demands, he attacked him with a Samoan Spike, drawing a clear line in the sand and signaling his departure from the family unit. This moment was met with an incredible pop from the audience, reminiscent of Sami Zayn's betrayal years ago. The segment further complicated the family dynamic when Jimmy and Jay were appointed as "first captains" by Roman, leaving Jacob looking confused and slighted, while LA Knight attempted to intervene only to be stopped by Roman before eventually teaming up with Solo against the rest of the faction. Ross appreciates how this storyline creates internal dissension within the Bloodline, positioning Solo as a new babyface and setting the stage for potential future matches between him and Roman Reigns.

What's good y'all? It's your boy Ross
back at again with another video. And
man oh man, this Monday Night Raw was
pretty damn good. I enjoyed majority of
this show. We got some things to talk
about, man. We got the whole Bron
Breaker and and Oba Feimi with Paul
Heyaymon's involvement. We got the
bloodline segment at the end of the show
that we got to talk about. And we got to
talk about that great match between Rey
Mysterio and um and Chad Gable for the
Intercontinental Championship. This was
a good show, man. This was definitely a
good show and I like what uh the the
stories that they're trying to build up
and tell going forward as we head into
Sunday night's main event and then after
that, Money in the Bank and how those
stories will play out. So, I'm going to
talk about more the the things that I
really was interested in. I'm not going
to do a whole breakdown of the show, but
I am going to talk about some of the
things I was really interested in. Um,
they started off the show with uh
Stephanie basically calling out Liv
Morgan, Liv Morgan coming out there with
her Judgement Day friends and Raquel and
Roxan. And it was basically a
threeon-one situation. Stephanie wanted
to smoke and Liv is there to oblige to
give her the smoke. So, it would be a
threeon-one situation. Then all of a
sudden, Becky comes out there to try to
assist and they end up, you know,
clearing out the ring and then they end
up kind of butting heads with each other
as well. Then it devolves into more
chaos and ultimately the judgment day
ladies end up standing tall and uh
there's a backstage segment after this
initial segment where Stephanie and
Becky started you know going at each
other like look man I just want you to
know like I ain't [snorts] really need
your help. This is pretty much what
Stephanie's saying and Becky's like,
"Man, you kind of messed things up out
there." And they having this tension
right now. And next week, I believe
Stephanie is supposed to have a match
with Roxan. And Becky's like, "Look,
I'mma watch, but you know how this is
going to go. No way this is going to end
in a fair one-on-one. So, good luck to
you." So, they're building up this
tension between Stephanie and Becky,
which I like. And it's all for the
women's world championship. And uh I'm
I'm interested to see how this going to
play out. I do think we're probably
going to get that triple threat. It just
makes sense. Uh we get the triple threat
between Liv, Becky, and um and
Stephanie. So, I think that could be
very, very interesting. So, I did like
that. And I like what they're doing
right now with the women's world he uh
world championship right now. It's
finally getting some much needed
attention that it deserves and hopefully
they can build off of that.
Next, I want to continue talking about
the ladies. Here we got to talk about
Lyra
finally having a match on Monday Night
Raw, not main event versus Soul Ruka.
And this was a good match as well. I
enjoyed this. I just wish this was
something we could have seen like maybe
right after Lyra's heel turn and packing
up uh Bailey. I think this would have
been nice to build that momentum and to
build up that jealousy that she would
have for Soul Ruka, but they didn't do
that. Um, they started it now, but I
think this could have benefited them
really building that story up. Um, but
this was a good match. I was surprised
with the winner. I thought that maybe
Lyra was going to sneak the win here by
cheating or of some sort, but no, Lyra
lost clean in this match. She lost. I
don't think the feud is over. I think
they're gonna set up something again,
but I was really thinking that maybe
Lyra was gonna get the win here, but
they did not do that. And when you're
talking about trying to create momentum,
especially for a heel character,
I think they need to get some wins even
if they're cheating. Now, she's been
getting wins on Main Event, and I've
been seeing some of those clips, but
that's main event. Most people don't
watch Main Event. Most people don't even
know it's a thing outside of Saturday
night's main event or Sunday night's
main event. So, when you're talking to
the casual audience that doesn't know
that they haven't seen her since
Saturday night's main event, really,
then it's like then she loses
for the casual fan. It's like, how do we
take Lyra serious? She just look crazy,
but she's still taking losses. Like, how
are we supposed to take her seriously,
you know? So, I think she could have
benefited more with getting the win
there, but I do think they're going to
extend this further. The question
becomes, will it be entertaining enough
for people to care about? So, we'll see
how that plays out. Um, next we got to
talk about um Brock and not Brock, um,
Braun and Oba. So,
Oba, no, Braun Breaker's doing an
interview with the rest of the division.
They're talking about stuff they don't,
you know, we don't really care about.
But the interviewer gets to Braun. Bronn
is just staring off in the space and
basically
she, you know, she asked him what do
you, you know, how do you feel about uh
Oba, saying that he's the future? And
then he's like, you know what? I'm going
to go out there and tell him to his
face. So he goes out to the ring and he
calls out Oba Femi. And then [snorts]
that's when um
Paul Heymon comes out there. Paul Heymon
comes out there and he's trying to talk
to to to Brawn about what's going on
here. And that's when Oba finally comes
out. Oba comes out there and he makes it
very simple. He's like, "Look, look,
the people know it.
I know it. And you know it. I'm the
future. So if you have a problem with me
being the future, then hey, we can
settle it. We we can fix that problem
right now. He's very simple. Like, you
know, I'm the future. Like, cut it out.
Stop it. So, Braun's like, "Hey, well,
let's settle it right now. Let's see
who's really the future right now." And
then that's when Paul's like, "No, no,
no, no. the future of the business of
the company understands that you don't
just make random matches, you build them
up. You you set up money making matches.
So, you already talked to Adam Pierce
and at Sunday night's main event in
Atlanta in uh Braun Breakers hometown,
they they're going to have a one-on-one
match. And Braun was smiling because he
like he got homefield advantage. He's
feeling good about himself. just sitting
there. He's like, "All right, cool." And
then afterwards, he gets out of the ring
and he's he's feeling good. But then he
sees Paul Heymon shakes Oba hand and
he's looking like, "What the hell?" Just
like we was looking on the stream like,
"Wait, what the hell's going on here?"
So, I did find that very interesting. I
don't know what that means, y'all. It
could mean that maybe there's some type
of working business relationship between
Oba and Paul Heyaymon. If you guys
remember on the first go around when
they were building up the Wrestlemania
match between Oba and Brock, Paul did
mention when it's all said and done and
Brock retires, hangs it up, I would more
than welcome being your advocate, Oba.
He actively put that out there. I'm not
saying that's what's going to happen,
but that that does leave some room for
speculation. That's all I'm saying. I
don't know if that's going to be the
case, but it does seem as of right now
they have some type of working
relationship and obviously Bond Breaker
is confused and not really rocking with
that. So, they do have a contract
signing next week, and I'm gonna be very
interested in seeing, okay, what type of
conversations are going to be had? Will
there be some type of conversations
separate outside of Braun Breaker with
Paul Heyaymon? And how's Braum really
going to feel about that? Is he going to
express his concerns that they've become
real buddy buddy after Brock Lesnar got,
you know, sentence to retirement? But we
gotta talk about and give proper respect
and love to the Intercontinental
Championship match between Chad Gable
and Rey Mysterio. This match was great,
bro. This was so damn good. The crowd
brought the energy throughout the entire
match. This was great. This was, in my
opinion, one of the better Monday Night
Raw televised matches of the year. It
was that good. It's PL worthy. This
could have been put on any PO and I
think people would have appreciated it.
Much respect to Ray being at the age
that he is and still going out there and
giving you something that you can really
be entertained by. It just shows how how
good he is, bro. You wouldn't have think
you would not think he's up in age. The
way he was moving out there, we know he
had some issues with his knees over the
years, but he was just making it look
like he like it was easy. Chad Gable, we
know his work rate. He's fantastic. Nice
back and forth. There was one point in
this match where he ended up hitting him
with the uh the 619 around the ring post
to then him with the 619
uh through the ropes and then go went up
top. And I'm thinking, wait a minute, he
could actually win this. And ultimately,
it didn't go out that way. It was a kick
out, bro. The the transitions into the
rollup pins and stuff. This was so good.
Nice back and forth. Crowd was bringing
the energy when they really thought Ray
was about to win it. And even when Ray
wasn't about to win it, they didn't even
have him tap out. This was just really
good. This was great match and shows
that Ray can still go out there in the
ring, give you something, a 15 minute,
20 minute match and you'll be thoroughly
entertained. This was really great. Go
back and watch this. And if we're going
to be getting matches like this, quality
like this um from Gable, I think the
Intercontinental Championship is in
great hands. This was great. Now, we can
talk about obviously the main event
segment with um Jacob, not Jacob, uh
Solo being delivered to Roman. Solo lost
last week to Jay in their match and if
he lost, he had to come back to the
bloodline.
So the entire show they're, you know,
they're talking about this. You have
Jimmy and Jay just kind of making fun of
Solo Pew Pew and saying, "Hey, you got
to come back home now. You part of this
now." And even they were talking to
Jacob. And this is very important. We
didn't realize it, but they were talking
to Jacob and and Jay was like, "Hey man,
I did something that your punk ass
couldn't do." You know, basically trying
to one up him, saying, "Hey, bro. I did
something you couldn't do. And
Jacob's like, "But you didn't do it by
yourself." He's like, "It doesn't
matter. I got the job done." Right? So,
we get out there and he calls out Solo.
Jimmy and Jay come out there with Solo.
And
this is why I enjoy
when Roman's the bad guy. last week,
past couple weeks, if you didn't think
he was the bad guy, I you just you just
don't want to admit it. This week even
solidified it more. When Roman's a heel
in this gimmick, it's better for
everybody. Yeah, you can acknowledge him
and and and and put your ones up because
he's a cool bad guy, but nevertheless,
when he gets into this the tyrannical
bag,
this is where it's like, okay, he's
clearly not the good guy here. He's
clearly,
you know, he's he's got this this this
mindset that he's going to take over WWE
by any by any means necessary with his
family by his side. And honestly, it's
the best version of Roman Reigns. And I
hope they continue to doing this because
he doesn't need to be a baby face. He
just needs to be the guy, the tribal
chief that will do whatever it takes to
win at some point, even if it means
using his family to get the job done. So
Roman is, you know, basically
talking to Solo. He's like, "Bro, seeing
you right now just pisses me off.
Like this has been going on for a few
years now. In fact, when I beat you on
the very the first ep episode of Raw on
Netflix, when I beat you and took the
Ulfala, that should have been the end of
it. But it wasn't. It wasn't the end of
it. And he had a video package showing
what happened there and all the things
that Solo has said over the years. And I
love how they come back from the video
package and Solo got his shades like,
"Oh, that was me. Oh [ __ ] my bad." You
know what I'm saying? Like Solo's still
being jokey without even saying
anything, right?
So he's telling the crowd like, "See,
y'all think it's fun in games, but it's
not fun in games." He's like, "Oh, you
Mr. Cool Guy now. You got your got your
nice little watch." You know, Roman be
pock he be watching He be pocket
watching other people's watches now
because he's in the watches now. He has
a great collection. So he be shaving
other people. I see you got your little
watch there. You got your little chains,
then you got your got your glasses. He
takes the glasses off, stomps on them.
They probably some Cardier that look
like it look expensive. Stomps on them.
And he's like, "Bro, the fact that you
were looking me in my eyes right now
pisses me off. You should be on your
knees." You like, you know, begging for
mercy and forgiveness. And that's when
Jacob had enough. He ends up super
kicking him, beating him up, breaking
him down. He uh he puts the uh uh the
the uh uh the death grip on him. He puts
the death grip on him and Solo's getting
choked out. And then finally he tells
him to stop. He tells Solo, not Solo, uh
Jacob. He tells Jacob, "Stop attacking
him. Hold on. We going to get back to
Solo. But first things first, we got to
handle some business." And he goes to
the ring and he gets like these black
olafalas. He's like basically like look
Jimmy and Jay or Jay and Jimmy they ran
the play. They they I called it they ran
the play and they took care of business
and these are my first captains. So if
you disrespect Jimmy and Jay that's
basically you disrespecting me. Now,
this was very interesting because
when they got these black oolafalas,
Jacob didn't get nothing. In fact, Jacob
just was sitting there. He was looking
confused. He was looking like, "Wait,
what the fuck?" Like, he he it looked
like his feelings were hurt cuz he
didn't get nothing. Jimmy and Jay are
now first captains. And if anybody says
anything, and I'm sure it's going to be
brought back up, even if Jacob, who has
words for Jimmy and Jay, a lot of times,
if you disrespect them now, that's like
disre disrespecting Roman. And you know,
they're going to use that. You know,
they're going to hold that over Jacob
and it's going to cause some issues. And
even tonight, you started to see it. So,
Jacob already looks annoyed by this.
Like, what the [ __ ]
And then they turn back to solo. That's
when LA Knight comes out there. You know
LA Knight, he's always down to get his
ass beat. He don't come out there with
no weapons. He just comes out there by
himself. He dispatched Jimmy and Jay
over the top rope. And then he's facing
down Roman. But that's when
that's when he ends up attacking uh
Jacob. He ends up attacking LA Knight.
Well, he's about to attack LA Knight and
then that's when Roman steps in. That's
when Roman steps in because I believe he
ends up hitting um
he ends up hitting LA Knight with the
the Superman punch and that's when Roman
steps in like, "No, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no. I'mma need you to chill out.
I got this. I'mma I'mma [ __ ] slap him
up. Don't don't even worry about that."
Right. So after that, they pick up LA
Knight
and they end up telling Jacob, "Stay in
the corner. We got this." And they want
Solo. They want Solo to Samo and Spike
LA night. They're holding him up. Jimmy
and Jay. And you hear Solo saying, "I'm
sorry. I'm sorry." Roman's like, "Man,
don't be sorry. Hit him. End him. He's
not your family. I'm your family." And
then he goes for the Samoan spike and he
hits Roman Reigns with the Samoan spike
to a huge pop. Oh, this was such a great
moment for Solo. Bro, this instantly
reminded me when Sami Zayn turned on the
bloodline and hit Roman with the steel
chair. It instantly gave me that vibe.
This was so dope to see Solo. He said no
with one samo Samo and Spike. He said
no, I'm not coming back. So afterwards,
you have Jimmy and Jay trying to plead
like what the hell is going on? Like
what what's happening here? They're
confused. So then they end up fighting.
You end up getting Jay thrown out the
ring and then Jay ends up hitting uh I
think Jay ends up hitting
uh not Jay Solo ends up hitting Jay on
the outside. He does a yeet that hits
him with a Samoan spike on the outside
by the timekeepers area. Roman is still
in the ring. He's selling the effects of
it. But then Jacob, he's still in the
corner. All this is happening. Jacob is
still in the corner. LA Knight gets up.
He's looking at him like, "What? You
going you gonna you gonna listen to him?
You gonna listen to your master?" Roman
is trying to load up the Superman punch
that he ends up scouting it. He ends up
realizing what's about to happen and he
ends up turning it into the BFT. Uh LA
Knight hits Roman with the BFT in the
ring and Jacob does nothing. He's just
looking at him. Doesn't do anything cuz
remember Roman told him to chill. He got
this. So, he doesn't do nothing. And
then that's when Solo and LA Knight,
they fist bump and they get out the
ring. And I like this so much because
there's different layers to this story.
First off, you got Solo
saying, "No, I'm not coming back."
Hitting Roman with the Samoan Spike.
Basically drawing the line in the Samoan
saying, letting it be known, I don't
give a damn. I'm not coming back to you.
So, I like that there. You already have
that story there. I can easily see at
some point maybe they having Solo versus
Roman for the WWE Champ uh WWE World
Heavyweight Championship. I think with
the reactions he's been getting and how
much of a baby face he is at this point.
I think people would buy in and want to
see Solo versus Roman at some point
potentially this year if they decide to
do that. So, that was great. the
reaction Solo got. I don't think I've
ever heard him get a pop that loud. That
was fantastic as well. Then the addition
of LA Knight trying to maneuver through
this new version of Bloodline, trying to
get his fair ones with Roman Reigns.
Then the addition of Jimmy and Jay
getting these black olafalas basically
saying their first captains.
That's very interesting because, you
know, it's going to create more
dissension between Jimmy and Jay and
Jacob cuz Jacob's going to feel
slighted. Jacob's going to feel
disrespected by them cuz they're going
to pull that power card. You can't talk
to us cuz Roman said if you disrespect
us, you disrespect him. So, I like that.
I like they're going to create issues
within their family. Roman doesn't even
realize he's done it. [music] There's
multiple layers of this story that can
go different ways. This was fantastic.
Love this segment. Love where they're
going with this. Solo is now becoming
one of the newer baby faces on the
roster and people are rocking with it.
This is dope, man. This [music] was
fantastic. Comment down below. Let me
know. Did you guys enjoy this episode of
Smackdown? What was your favorite part
of the show? Did you guys enjoy that
Bloodline segment? And where do you
think things could possibly go heading
towards uh Sunday night's main event and
also Money in the Bank and most likely
War Games? But I appreciate all love,
support, road two, 200K. Appreciate
y'all kicking with me. See you next one.
Peace.
