Video summary

The video begins with the host addressing a significant mishap where he left his bass drum face down on a rug in an unfinished basement, exposing it to water and pests for years. To rectify this damage and prevent future accidents, his friends at Vangoa sent him a set of brand new drum cases specifically designed for a five-piece kit. Although the host currently owns a four-piece set, he proceeds to test three of the cases with his existing drums to evaluate their quality and protective capabilities, noting that his previous experience with a Vangoa throne was so positive that he had high expectations for these new products. Upon unboxing, the host highlights the excellent packaging and vacuum-sealed nature of each case, which features a stylish brown leather-like strip with the Vangoa logo on the front. Inside, the cases are lined with a reddish-brown rust tone padding that offers both aesthetic appeal and protection. A key feature emphasized is their water-resistant capability, which can repel moisture rather than just preventing spills, along with sturdy carrying straps and handles. The host demonstrates how easily the bass drum fits into its dedicated case, noting that the secure fit allows for safe transport in vans or on buses without worrying about damage during gigs. The review continues as the host tests cases for his snare drum and toms, specifically a Brazilian vintage penguin snare and various tom sizes ranging from 10 inches to 16 inches. He points out practical details such as the small grippies on the bottom of the cases that prevent them from tipping over and the clear labeling inside which helps keep track of specific drums like the floor tom once it is returned. Despite a minor issue with a loose screw on one case, he concludes that these are durable investments that will last for a long time, effectively solving his storage problems by keeping instruments off the floor and out of harm's way. In conclusion, the host expresses his high satisfaction with the Vangoa drum cases, praising their super high quality and recommending them strongly to anyone looking to protect their gear. He plans to keep all his drums in these cases moving forward to ensure they remain safe from environmental hazards like moisture and physical impact. The video serves as a strong endorsement for the product, suggesting that the cost is well worth the investment given the longevity and reliability of the cases, encouraging viewers to check them out for their own drum kits.

Hey guys, my friends at Vangoa sent me over some brand new drum cases to check out and it came at the perfect time because I went downstairs to pick up this bass drum and I made the absolute cardinal mistake and I left this face down on a rug in my unfinished basement and it has been basically sitting in water for who knows, a couple years. It dries, it gets a little wet, it dries, it gets a little wet. There are bugs crawling on this drum. I made a big mistake. So, thank you to Vangoa for sending these cases over. Let's check them out and get this drum protected. All right, so this is a set of drum cases that's made for a five-piece set. I have a four-piece and actually today we're just going to be putting three in the cases just to check it out. Very well packaged. I have had a Vangoa throne before and it was super high quality so I expect nothing different here. Each case comes in its own bag. Let me get these out and then we will take them out of the bags and then we'll check them out with the drums in it and check out all the features. All right, so they are vacuum sealed. So, let me open it up here. Let me poke this and get it open. So, let's check this out. This is obviously going to be our bass drum case which is very much what I need because again, I absolutely screwed that up. These are very nice Vangoa logo right on the front. It's got a brown strip across it. Has a nice kind of leather look to it. The inside of these, as you can see, has a cool color to it, kind of a reddish brownish kind of nice rust tone to it which I like. Nice padded inside to them. They are water resistant. They're not You're not going to spill a drink on it. You don't want to do that, but they they will repel water nicely. They have a nice carrying strap. So, let me put the bass drum in here and then we'll see how it looks with the drum. It fits perfectly. Uh nice easy strap right here. So, you can take it in and out of gigs, throw this, you know, put it in the back of a van, on the bus, whatever you need to do, fits it perfectly. Um nice protection. That's the bass drum. Let's check out another bag. All right, in this package we have what appears to be uh this is probably going to be the 16-in or this is probably the 14-in, a 10-in, and a 12-in. So, the 14 is going to be for a snare. This has nice handles as well. Cases are something where once you buy them, it's a good investment and you can have them for a long time. That's what this is. These are very good cases that I would recommend to anyone. Um and it says this is for a 14 by 6 and 1/2 snare. So, this we're going to throw in there. Um it has a little rattle. I got to tighten a screw in there. All my stuff is messed up now. This is a Brazilian vintage penguin snare. Let's put this in here. Let me bring it over here so you can see. Uh hopefully this is the right size. I didn't measure my snare. And then this snare will be nice and protected with these cases. So, goes on very easily. Put this on like this. Zip it up. Absolutely no problem there. And then now the snare is protected. So, like I said, it's got little grippies on the bottom. Now I see that those are to prop these and it'll hold it up and not fall over. 12-in tom right here that will store and get these things off of the floor cuz again, I was doing what you're not supposed to do. Fits in there very nicely. That one's super easy cuz it's got uh smaller hardware. And then this is going to be our 16-in tom. And then these are labeled on there, which is awesome. So, I don't have the floor tom with me, but when I get it back, I will put it in there and keep these drums safe. So, again, super high quality. Highly recommend them. Vango sent these over to me and I'm very pleased with them. I will keep my drums in them and keep them safe. And I recommend that you guys check them out. Very worth it. These will last you a very long time.
