The Ultimate Crude Oil Farming Base Build Setup Guide - How To Get Crude Oil ANYWHERE - Palworld

So, guys, I am back with yet another Power World video. And today, guys, I'm going to showcase you how you can basically create the very best crude oil farming spot or base absolutely anywhere on the map. Let's go. How's it going, guys? My name is DP Jen. So, as you can see, guys, I've got I don't even know 25 crude oil extractors here under the roof of my storage base. My storage base is also or my entire base is also underwater. So, you can do this absolutely anywhere. Now, with the introduction of the crude oil extractors, which you unlock at level 51, um these are these things right here. You can build these on any ground. So, if it's dirt, you can put this on them and get that crude oil. But with today's trick, I'll teach you how you can put these down absolutely anywhere. Meaning, if you have a pre-existing base that you want to make the most out of, you can use it as a crude oil base. It's really, really simple. Now, the requirements for this are indeed need to be at least a level I believe it's 70 one maybe. At least because you need these these skill fruit or kids. These are what allow us to put down these uh crude oil extractors absolutely anywhere. So, if you're at level 71 yet, you cannot do this. But yes, you need to unlock this right here. Also, guys, you need the Japanese set, which is uh this right here. Japanese style furniture set because we get a cushion that we need from this. Obviously, you need the crude oil extractor. You also, guys, need um this right here, which you unlock at level 31, the ironwood table set. And I believe that is more or less it. As long as you got plenty of skill fruits to because you need to plant uh those crude oil cuz you will get all these back so don't worry about that. Uh so you're not wasting these. You'll get all your materials back in that regard. But yeah. Other than that, but again, these crude oil extractors, you can actually put these down on any flat land. So if you've actually got a base that's on dirt, you could do this today without doing all the trickery to do this anywhere. And I have some great spots as well, guys, you do want to take advantage of um we could put maximum of these down. If you come to this point right here, um so our coordinates are around this point of a minus 255 to 49. This whole area here is massively flat. All up here is massively flat. Same as here, guys, it's massively flat. And I do believe a part here as well is also flat. And again, guys, all this here is also flat. So these are great spots you can put maximum number of these crude oil extractors down just on the dirt itself. You won't have to use the tricks I'll show you today in where you can put these absolutely anywhere. So yes, you're going to need a few materials for that for this, but I'm guessing this far into the game, you know exactly what you're doing and you need. So yeah, I'm just going to go to my other base, which is down here. It's completely empty now. I've emptied this out, but it's perfect for me to showcase to you guys in how you actually do and set this up and get it flawless. Cuz you want these things sitting straight as well. The normal trick is uh an angle of these crude oil extractors, but today I'll show you how to do this perfectly straight. So this base is kind of set up. I've got my my medicine cabinet, my guild chest, my food box for my pals, couple of pal pads, uh a generator, two generators electric to work these, and the pals required to indeed genera- generate electric, cool that thing down, but you don't need that, I don't believe. I think you can use the old electric generators. As long as you've got pals that are good enough to actually keep that electricity tab up, you You good. Um but yeah, you want to a couple of transporting powers as well, guys, because they're going to be transporting that oil. Now, if you want your oil transported to your storage, um, your guild storage, just leave one of these down. If you want to actually accumulate oil in said base that you're basically creating it, let's put down storage boxes. That's completely up to you. Okay, so we're going to start, guys. And how we do this is is quite straightforward once you get the actual rhythm of how you put these down and get them set up nice and straight. So, we want to come to this right here. This is a very very important an ironwood side table. So, we're just going to click on this. And then, guys, what you want to do is obviously on foundations, I'm doing this on a water base. If you're doing this on a skyscraper, on a land base, on a second floor, third floor, make sure you got a couple of ceiling or walls worth of space above and you're good to do this. But yeah, you want to come to the your foundations. Now, depending on where you actually want to do this for yourself, you can put 10 of these down. You can put 20 of these crude oil extractors down. You can put 50 of these down. You can have a whole base and a floor completely covered in these. But you want to come to said point. Now, this is going to be where the first one is actually put down. I'm going to do this on the edge of my base. So, the edge is well, the furthest foundation top corner to the edge of my base, as you can see. And this will still count as one. So, that's one. Now, the closest you can actually put another one next to it, guys, is one and a half foundations away. So, you want to walk this way. So, there's one foundation and a half. So, put that down. You want to make sure these are straight as you can possibly get them. And bam. Then, guys, you'll do the exact same thing. So, one and a half foundations away. Bam. So, these three here, guys, that's basically three crude oil extractors. This is how it's going to work. So, yeah, we're just going to do another one. So, one and a half away. So, another one there. Bam. And we're just going to put another one over there. Bam. One and a half away. And these actual new futuristic uh well, actually the ancient set in regards to I don't I'm not sure I'll get away one here. I don't think I will. So, I'm not even going to bother with that because the actual space is required. It's got We've got to remember you've got to put a crop plot down initially. Um and although this will basically be where the crude oil extractor will sit literally right where this little wooden bench is or that iron side table iron wood side table. I'm not sure it's still being inside of that base because we're right on the border, so I ain't going to worry about that. But, yeah. But, either or. So, we've got a setup like that so far. So, that is a setup of one, two, three, four, five, six crude oil extractors. So, now guys, what we're going to do is we're going to build more. So, what we're going to do is we're going to come down from this one. And again, you need to be one and a half away. So, there's one foundation away. And a half a foundation away. Simple as that. Now, you want to try and get these as perfectly straight as possible. Can be a little tricky, but yeah. So, I'm just going to put that one there. And again, there's half the foundation. And there's one. So, boom. And you can see exactly what we're doing here, guys. So, again, there's one foundation. And there's a half. So, we actually I'm going to have this base it's going to be as many of these as I can actually fit in. Literally as many of these I can fit in. So, I'm going to do the exact same here. So, I'm just going to line this up. Make sure I'm in sync with it. I'm going to go one foundation. And then half. I'm going to make sure because again, because this new ancient set in regards to the foundations, it's actually quite easy to dictate where the center is going to be. So, yeah. So, I'm just double-check that just to definitely make sure. Um so, yeah, you can see that your gap between where I'm at. So, yeah. So, that is one and that is the half right there. So, that's good. I'm just going to go There's the half and then there's one. Just going to move that up slightly. So, boom. Then we go There's the uh one foundation. I'm actually cuz I got stick drift on my controller. It's making it a bit I mean, this as well doesn't have to be absolutely perfect in regards to your placement of these. It's just if you want them all lining up perfectly, you will have to be particularly um strict in regards to where you're putting these down. So, there is another uh one and a half and then guys, we've got there's one and there's another half. Boom. There's the half and there's the one. Boom. And again, we ain't going to fit it there. We probably could. Um in fact, you know what? I'll take the risk. I'll try it anyway. And there's the There's the half. So, about there. We'll try. If it don't work, I'll break it down. And again guys, you know what? I'm going to try it there as well. It probably ain't going to work here, but we'll try it. So, boom. So, as you can see guys, we are basically one and a half foundations away in every direction to these little tables. And what we're going to do is I'm going to actually fill as much space in this base using the same principles. One and a half foundations and that away. And what I do here guys, is I'll speed up the video. So, you don't have to actually watch this, but if you're doing the same thing as me, you kind of you should get the gist by now of exactly what you need to be doing. So, I'm just making sure again, one and a half away. So, there's one and a half and there we [clears throat] go. So, yeah, I'll speed up the video guys and get as many of these done as I possibly can. Okay, so I've put down as many as actually one in here, but the good thing about this as well guys, which I didn't mention I didn't mention to build it on a certain floor in your base, but if you you can actually dedicate a floor in your base. If your base is like say like this one right here and it's like it's a big base. You can just make a floor dedicated to it. So, just build up. Make sure it's like three or four three or four sorry walls high at least. I dedicate an entire floor to indeed doing this. There's nothing stopping you doing that, guys. Okay, so as you can see, we have a lot of these down right now. Now, guys, what you need to do is put down that Japanese cushion on it, which is this thing right here. So, this cushion needs to be literally, guys, center. And then you try and get it as as straight as possible. So, it's equal on all sides. And you know we want you want to put this on everyone. Just like so, making sure it's straight. Everyone you put down you want to put this on. So, whether you've done five of these you want to put you want you want five oil extractors or you've got 50. I don't even know how many I've got. That's going to be a lot of oil generated here, that's for sure. You want to put these on every single one. Again, it doesn't have to doesn't have to be absolutely perfect. Uh but it needs to be as perfect as possible. So, yeah, again I'll speed this up, guys, because it's going to take me another I don't know 5 10 minutes to do this. So, yeah. Okay, so I've put cushions down on all of these now. Now, we get to the part where we actually have to use the skill fruit basically crop plot the orchid or whatever it's called. So, we want to go back to the first one we put down. This is where this can get a little bit tricky. So, you want to come guys and you want to make sure you saw the arrows facing you and you're at this angle. Then, guys, you want to rotate it to the left just like so. It makes it easier. So, it's like that. Then, guys, you want actually come this way on. And what you want now, guys, is say it jumps up. Say it jumps up like that. You want to make sure it jumps up Um and obviously it's blue and then bring it this way. Make sure you get it as centered as possible. This doesn't have to be absolute, by the way. Um there's a couple of angles you can place this down, you can place it at that angle, that angle, but you want it the one in between, so about there, that's fine. Just put that down. Boom. Then guys, do the same again with the next one. But just make sure they are not touching each other. And you'll sometimes you'll get two instances of where it turns blue. You want to go for the second instance. And what I mean by this is guys, so if we do that again, if we come over to you'll see it jumps. It say it turns blue straight away. If you come back a bit more, you see it goes red and goes blue again. Keep walking away from it. We want the second instance of blue. That for them means it ain't actually touching, which is great. So it jumps, it goes blue, forget that one, keep coming. And then it will go blue again like there. So that's slight little bit of thing I had then. That is what we want. Try and get that back out. I've moved a bit. There we go, that one there. So again, try and get this as straight as possible. That angle there is is perfectly fine. So let's put that down like that. There we go. Do it again on the next one. Let it jump. And then just place it at about about that angle there. Again, you don't have to be perfect with this to be honest, but just make sure the cut plots themselves are not touching one another. If they overlap with one another guys, it means that when it comes to actually land down the actual um the kudzu extractor, it says it's too close to like a boss arena and it won't let you do it. So yeah. So keep that in mind. I mean, we may run into that today, it doesn't really matter. So that's perfect. And then guys, I believe we have this last one, which I wasn't sure I ain't actually done that one yet. I'm not sure it's going to fit on this last one. But we can try it. Let's have a look. Is the wall going to be in my way here? Probably. Let's see. Oh, it's because I've got no materials. I mean, I'm going to have to go for I'm just going to try and do it from this angle. I'm not sure this is going to work cuz it's going to be through the wall. Yeah, it's not letting me do it because of the wall there. Again, if I remove the wall, I could do it, but I'm can't really bother to do that. So, I'm just going to get rid of that. So, yeah. And now what guys what we do is I'm going to miss this force. I can't put them up, but I'm sure my powers are going to come for me. Anyway, we're going to do the exact same with this in second row. Again, we're going to make sure guys that the crop plots do not touch each other. That means they don't touch these sides as well. So, yeah. So, we do it again. Um and you can see they're actually quite a decent distance away from them. But, if you want to get them as close as possible, that's cool. You can do that. Um so, yeah. Again, that is the angle you want. About there is perfect. So, put it down, jump across, do the same again. You can see they're actually quite close, which is cool. As long as they're not touching, you're good to go with this. And actually, you know, when you've already put some down on your right-hand side, it just makes for the actual lining up to be a lot easier of the actual angle you want. So, yeah. So, badaboom. And what I do guys is I'm just going to put all these down as you're seeing. And the ones I can't put down due to too close of a things, I'll take down themselves. Uh but yes, once you've done this guys, it's very very important you do not put in the the skill fruit straight away to make them fruit, to make them um sprout. You don't want that to happen. Not right away anyway. So, I'm actually have to do. So, yeah. I'll put all these down guys, and I'll resume the video when I'm indeed done here. Okay guys, so I've now put down these skill fruit orchids on every single one of these little iron tables guys. And now it's very important to follow suit exactly what I do. We need to build a ceiling above these. Just one floor up, one level up, one wall up above all of these where you want to put down these crude oil extractors. So, I'm going to do these out of my out of my favorite glass, which is what I'm going to do. I'm just going to basically just put one foundation there. I mean, sorry, one uh pillar there. One pillar in this corner there. One In fact, I don't need to do this because I got walls I could build off there, but it doesn't really matter to be honest. I'll put I'll say that one there. That's fine. And then one on this side. One there. That's fine, too. Even though it's outside my base, I'll put it in there. So, get rid of that. Now guys, what I'm going to do is I'm going to build basically an entire floor across every one of these. Um So, yeah. Basically just This is per- perfectly fine. Just need to be one above >> [snorts] >> um these plantations because when we actually ins- put the skill fruits inside of these, they'll they'll sprout obviously. And the tree will blossom, and that will come through the ceiling just slightly, which allows us to then place down the oil extractor under that tree, also lining it up nice and straight. So, yeah guys. So, I'll do this. I'll speed up the video, and I'll catch you guys back in a quick second. Okay, so basically put a glass flooring above the entire um well, above every plantation to be honest, as you can see. Just like so. I'm just going to build a ladders up Well, not ladders, stairs up to this just so my pals who will eventually uh collect this for me can actually get up there, which should make sense. What the hell are you doing like uh stairs? Get up. Get out of it. And I'll put a couple more here. Just like so. Just like so. And then fill that corner in there. And then let's color it my nice color black. Now we have a transport path so they can get up to these um these oil extractors. So, now guys, what we need to do is put in those skill fruits in each and every one of these crop plots. So, yeah. We'll do that, guys. Um just one in each perfectly fine. Don't put more than one in each. Just wasting them. But, you will get all of these back, by the way, so don't worry about that. Yeah, so yeah, what I'll do, guys, again, I'll skip the video. And I will zoom back in a quick second once I put all of these in. Okay, so I've now put down well, the skill fruits in every single one of these actual plantations. And we're now, guys, ready to put down indeed, the crude oil extractors. But, don't worry. We will be getting rid of all these trees as soon as the uh crude oil extractors are down. [music] So, this is what we want to be doing, guys. So, if you stand in front on the initial spot where we first started, in front of and obviously the floor above that we built, and then select that crude oil extractor. Make sure you got the materials. I have. I don't think I'll have enough for um I'll go back and get some. Don't worry about that. I'll cut the video. But, yeah, so pull out the crude oil extractor. If you spin it around, you can see that you have cylinders on it. Make sure those cylinders are facing the back. Just like so. We're going to do the same thing like what we just did well, what we did earlier in regards to putting down the actual um the skill fruit orchards. We're going to spin this to the right so the cylinders are now on our right-hand side. As you can see, just like that. Then, guys, we're going to do this from the side. So, what I want you guys to just look for where it actually starts to jump. And eventually, guys, if you swiggle it around, you'll find that point where it's blue. And that, guys, you have quite a lot of wiggle room to actually make sure this is now straight. Um you can use your well, up and down on your other analog stick to make sure it is actually nice and straight. It don't have to be absolutely dead on perfect. Uh Uh, it's still going to look right anyway. And then, guys, you just pull it down, move forward, find your other spot, find that jump. Which can be a little bit tricky, but as soon as you get it, guys, you are good. And again, you can line it up with the foundations. Just making sure it's nice and straight. Use your other analog to make sure it is actually straight, or at least look straight. Oh, don't do that. And then, guys, you can indeed play around with it. And then just fasten it down. And again, if you put it down, it don't look straight. Don't look nice and neat. You can always dismantle it and rebuild it. And again, you want to do this, guys, for every single one of these. Not sure how many you will have want to put down in regards to how many oil extractors you want. Um, but yeah, if you if you've gone crazy like me, so you never have to farm oil again. Yeah, you're going to have to do this for a bit of a while, but hey. Again, we're looking for that slight jump there. So, you just move over, and you get a jump, and then you'll get that little glance of blue. And then, guys, you can simply just plop it down. But you don't have to be this perfectly straight, to be honest. I could get these way straighter. But I ain't really that fussed. This isn't a base I plan on being at for a while anyway, for too long anyway, so yeah. And what I will say as well, guys, is if you do get an instance, if you've if you follow this set up perfectly, and you do get a like an instance of um it saying "Too close to a special boss base." and it's not working, just keep coming away from it. Keep walking away from it. It should then highlight blue, so that will allow you to put it down. So, yeah. I believe this might be the last one here on this this second row. Uh, so yeah, let's put you down. I think that looks about right. So, badaboom. And then guys, we have an entire row that will See that one was a bit on a bit of a bit on a like a a slant. Doesn't bother me that much so, but if it does bother you, that one as well. Look at the on slight slant. Some of them are perfectly straight. It's just about trial and error, guys. Doesn't bother me that much, but if you don't want them on a slight slant, you'll have to readjust them. So, yeah. What I'll do now, guys, is I'll do the same for every single one. And put all these down. So, yeah. I'm going to have to go create some more bio batteries. But yeah, I'll cut the video and be back in a quick second. Okay, so I have now, guys, put down I don't even know quite a lot of those crude oil extractors. I did remove a couple of spots because I just couldn't fit them in. Like down here, down this side, and a couple along that side, too, which doesn't really bother me. I will need in this up to be honest, probably a couple more I will remove. But either or, guys, we now have all the crude oil extractors down. And they're very I wouldn't say they're perfectly straight, but they're relatively They're straight enough for me. You can get them much straighter if you wanted to, though. I'm not really fussed about that. Now, guys, what I'm going to do is I'm going to destroy all of these skill fruit trees. Um because you don't need these now, guys, and you can actually make use of the space under here, put storage box under here, or whatnot. That's completely up to you. You could make this If you do plan on doing this sort of thing, and um uh you don't want it to just be a crude oil base, you could probably dedicate this space underneath to something else. That's completely up to you, but yeah. Let me get rid of all these, guys, and I'll be back in a quick second. And well, guys, there we have it. I've cleared up all of the skill fruit trees, picked up all the skill fruits, and we now, guys, have a base dedicated to farming that crude oil. The only thing left I'm going to do now, guys, I'm going to put down a few storage boxes cuz I don't want them flooding my guild chest um with oil. But, other than that, guys, this base now I can leave it alone. I'll just come back, make sure my my pals are fed. Probably going to put down a couple of springs as well. I'm not sure about the electric situation. I may have to add in a couple more electric pals to um power this thing up because these things use a ton of electric. I've got a couple in here now, but they're not the best of pals, to be honest. You can get much, much better now with 1.0. Uh but, yeah, guys, it really is a simple I'd say a simple It's quite simple, but it is also quite long at the same time. Make sure this is inside of the base. Uh couple of chests for that oil.
