oh boy busy day today a lot happening
right now but I wanted to make
this little announcement video uh
because I think this is where people
will see the news most effectively
um
couple of things
first thing
um remember us talking about the perfect
comic party in the last couple episodes
of the podcast well guess what I
did it it's out on the website
um apparently it's the bandwidth is
struggling a little bit I guess people
are downloading it and it's kind of a
big file but it's there
um so it's on perfect comicparty.com or
the procrastinatorspodcast.com party uh
you can get there from the main the
website the main the main portal has the
link to the the comic section where you
can download the first issue
I'm very excited
um the other thing
is the yeah the the other thing going on
of course is the Slime and Punishment
Kickstarter which is entering its final
weekend there are what like 50
50 hours or something left yeah it ends
on Sunday so final the final stretch for
that and it's it's right about to hit
the stretch goal I'm thinking it'll
probably hit it
but it's not quite there yet but I'm
hoping
uh so yeah check that out too before
it's too late
um but anyway I want to talk about the
perfect comic party and I want to
explain
how I'm structuring it and what I'm
doing with it because I I wrote in the
letter from the editor and on the
support page in the back I just want to
elaborate a little bit on how it's going
to work
uh just because I think just so just so
people know so let me explain so the
perfect comic party
uh there are I I asked some people for I
they are the featured artists I
specifically went and asked them for the
first issue so I would have you know
content for
an issue for number one is going forward
uh I will be you know looking for
submissions
and uh so you know that's it's open to
anyone to submit if they have a if they
make a comic or they have a comic as
long as it's independent as long as they
own the rights to the work obviously
um you can uh yeah send the PCP an email
what's what's the email address
I now I have now I have to read
now I have to read what I wrote to
remember the freaking email address uh
it is sorry how embarrassing she cut

send an email with perfect comic party
submission in the subject line and you
can also say like the name of your comic
or whatever and yeah I will review
submissions and uh you know I'm hoping
to get enough
enough good stuff that I want to feature
to uh make issue two
you know
pretty soon uh so that'll be exciting
and um
now I I had not originally
said I would pay artists anything none
of the artists that I featured like ask
for any money to do it and and the
reason for that is that I'm not like
taking any I'm not making any money off
it like I'm not selling it it's free to
read and they're not giving up any like
if you if you have your stuff featured
in The Perfect comic party you don't we
don't own it you own it you're basically
just giving us me
permission to host it so it's pretty
much just hosting so it's just you're
you let me post it and put it on the
website and it's like I don't sell it
directly
and it's like it's it's exposure
basically I mean it's it's exposure but
nobody's making any money uh however I
decided
um I'm I want to give artists a little
bit of money so what I'm gonna do is
there's a co-filing
uh there's a Kofi link
kofi.com the PCP
and anything that's donated to that I'm
gonna split it between the contributors
so for the first issue the contributors
are oh I didn't I didn't even mention
the first contributors are it's me with
Beast capades uh Michie fostered with
mesiel
drinking moth with apocalypse charm
and um
cheesy manfredo and mimiyori with uh
extra Souls so those are the four four
Comics five artists so anything that's
donated to the co-file will be split
between
those five uh and also uh I charged I
made it I I posted it as a Charged post
on the patreon and I'm gonna split that
patreon post revenue between the artists
as well because
uh because why not
I have it I might as well do something
with it so you know and that's um that's
just on top of
it's I'm not right
I don't know I I hope it's clear what
I'm doing here I'm not like buying
anyone's Comics I'm not like I don't
want anyone to get the idea that I'm
like paying a pittance and now I own
your stuff that's not it it's just it's
just I'm just hosting it and putting it
out there and Publishing it
but the creators still own all the
rights and I will give them a little bit
of this money whatever money is
generated they they get a cut just
because I think that's nice to do and I
want to do something for them I really
want
uh the perfect comic party to be a
vehicle for people
uh you know to get found I think it
would be really great if the perfect
comic party were a thing that artists
you know Comics are tough
it's it's not impossible to make it in
the comics Biz so if the if the perfect
comic party can be a vehicle for people
to you know if they make a comic
and they can get it featured in the PCP
and they get a little bit of money
that's nice and if they get
discovered by some of you all who might
read it that's nice too and I would like
for that to be
uh
the Legacy or the reputation I would
like for that to be what the perfect
comic party is all about that's what I
want it to be that's what I'm what I'm
trying to do with it
um yeah so if you want to read issue one
you can go it's on perfect

button to the comics section it's got
the first issue right there download it
it's pretty big
it's 132 Pages uh but it's worth it in
my opinion
and yeah let me know

the next the next section of Beast

um yeah anyway I'd love to hear what
everyone thinks about all the stuff
that's in there uh if you
are seeing any of these artists for the
first time you know
say say how cool you think they are uh
uh that's I'd like you know show them
you can all their contact info their
their ads on Twitter and stuff is in
there too I hope that right I hope that
people will follow up on any artist they
like I

get discovered great good artists get
discovered through something like this
