I got two tickets to paradise. >> What? Uh, and they have the second highest payroll in baseball, right behind the Dodgers. So, Michael just sent me this. He said, as if things weren't bad enough for the Mets. Now, this [laughter] this is the mascot for the Mets. And so, that's how bad it is. The paper just did this joke and said, "Mr. and Mrs. Met are divorcing after years of strugg." That's how bad it is for the Mets right now, that their mascots are divorcing. The biggest, the baddest, [music] wackiest, funniest, filmiest show on earth. [music] >> Uh, welcome back. Today we got a uh new trailer for the upcoming Nani film, Paradise. >> I got two tickets to Paradise. >> Have you ever watched that show, Paradise? >> No. >> I want to watch that show. I have a friend who's the editor on that show. It's got like eight Emmy nominations. >> So, we've saw something a while ago for this. It was like the title reveal or the character reveal or something something like that for Paradise. It's Nani and he has like dreads and >> Oh, this is ringing a bell. >> And like earlier this year. >> Yeah, it looked cool. >> Yeah. >> Uh we got a trailer for a teaser for it finally. Uh coming out September 24th. >> Cool. >> Uh >> oh man. Dude, >> it's time. Like we're leaving summer blockbuster and we're now gonna get into awards season stuff. >> I got already got some awards stuff. >> Oh, I'm so happy. >> Um >> I'm gonna go see Spider-Man, too, by the way, cuz I've been hearing nothing but good stuff. >> Are you caught up? I think you need to catch up. >> Do I need to catch up? >> Well, it depends cuz if you said there was one after the Spider-Man the three >> I need to double check >> there. If there's one in between, you probably do. It's a pretty linear story. I I'll I'll go back and double check because I'm hearing someone just that I just >> No, I've heard from a lot of people. It's a lot of fun. >> Yeah. I heard a real from a guy this morning. He said, "I left Odyssey feeling nothing." Which was our experience. He said, "I left Spider-Man feeling everything." Looked really pretty. Um really stylized. Um uh and Nani looks awesome. The world looks cool. >> Uh you do hope it's um more than just like what we've been seeing with like the animal style of a movies. Obviously, >> you just It did look really interesting. >> Yeah. Just you gota you got to hope all that is great, but the meat and potatoes is you've got to have story, >> you got to have acting. Yeah. So, >> well, you're going to have Nani is a great actor. >> I know. Yeah, I I have high trust that that's going to be strong. >> Let's see who I forget who the director is [snorts] here. >> But that was that looked like it's a lot of fun. >> Yeah. Wellited trailer. >> Yeah. >> Uh >> and it there's also some trailers that are make you think to yourself, I I got to see that on a big screen. That's one of those that I'm like, I I really want to see that on the biggest screen and >> POSSIBLE AND SOUND. OH, same director as Dara, the one where he was on the motorcycle. >> Oh, yeah. We really loved that movie. That was a great movie. That had everything. >> Everything. >> That had story, acting, >> Nani as well, though. Y So, you got Nani and the director back together again. >> I'm thrilled. >> That's great. If you haven't seen our We did a watch along of that one, uh, Dara, great movie with Nani. Uh, so you can go watch that. It's already on the It's been on the channel for a year or two at least. Yeah. Uh, so that's exciting that the director is uh because that's one of the first things I look for like if it's a director I know that they know what they're doing. >> Yeah. >> Film making movies is so hard. Um, especially when it's like a much bigger concept and you have to factor in not only your story but the entertainment. Um, because big cinema is different than smaller cinema. >> Yeah. Obviously, smaller cinema, you got to focus on your I mean, you still got to focus on everything, but there's [snorts] um when you go into smaller cinema, people know that you're going in for the acting, the story, and that kind of stuff. Bigger ones, you still going in for those things, but you also have to have a entertainment factor. >> There's there's so many more ways things can go wrong. Yeah, >> you have so many more risks you're taking when you're doing something that big >> because you have to >> you have to incorporate some of the aspects that smaller films do, but you've got all of the other so many things can go wrong on the day in post-prouction. Uh so if if it holds up and it's anything like that other film, I >> I'm excited. >> Also, the uh audio was uh the songs are great and it's Anie, so that's >> Yeah, not shocking. It's a multi- panindia [snorts] um creative team. But it's listed also in an at several places it's listed as the primary language even though it's going to be in multiple languages. It's going to be and that's what I would want to see it in is is Canada. But again, that's the type of thing we've seen. Toxic is living up to that quote unquote stereotype of what Canada does. >> Mhm. So, um I I I don't remember a film. Refresh my memory because your memory about these things is better than mine. Is there a small film from the Canada industry that we've >> recently or at all? >> Yeah. No, small. We've had small >> in the past. I don't remember its name, but we've had a small [snorts] uh but >> um granted I guess the >> the ones we've seen from the Tula industry this year aren't really considered small. No, >> they're just not they're not the typical blockbuster because both of them I believe costed quite a bit of money. Um >> it shows >> um especially the RA production wise >> was incredible uh for for sure. >> Uh but even production-wise um post might have been more expensive um on singam. >> Yeah, it may have been >> um with what they had to do >> depending on what they did with the room in Raadar. That might >> they built the set. >> It may have been practical. >> Um >> that's how good it was. Both of them phenomenal movies. Looking forward to this, man. Yeah.
