The One Piece Live Action DESTROYED Me...

BEFORE WE START, THIS VIDEO IS only about 30 minutes long and covers the almost 4 hours of me reacting to episodes 1 through 4 of Netflix's One Piece. The reactions are never meant as a replacement for the original show and only serve to show you my reactions and raw thoughts to the biggest moments. That being said, enjoy the video. BOYS AND GIRLS, IT'S FINALLY TIME. ONE PIECE live action season 2 is here. Now, as many of you know, I was lucky enough to get plus one to this season 2 premiere. So I've actually already seen the very first episode, but I'm still going to reacting to it so you guys I have to give like a commentary of my thoughts and everything because there was a bunch of stuff, especially in this first episode, that they changed that I want to talk about as we watch. But I'm sitting down today to binge the whole damn thing. I don't know if I'm going to do like an entire like reaction supercut or review or whatever. I'm just going to get that sit down and and and enjoy this for what it is because we have eight whole fat one-hour episodes. I believe this is going to cover all the way to the end of Drum Island, which I'm not going to lie, eight episodes an hour each seems like kind of stretched out, but I trust them. Season 1 was a banger. I would give season 1 like maybe like a six or seven out of 10. No, it's not a joke. Like a really solid start and a solid foundation. So I'm hoping the best for this. But we're starting with season 2 episode 1, The Beginning and the End. And as all you all of you know, The Beginning and the End is the alternate name for Loguetown because it's where Roger, King of the Pirates, passed away and started the new pirate era. So we're just I'm not going to waste any time. Let's just hop into this. One Piece live action SEASON 2, LET'S GO! WITH DILIGENCE, MISS ALIDA. AND THERE she is, Miss All Sunday. Whenever I was watching the trailers for this season, I was like, "Why is Robin or Miss All Sunday at a Marine base?" And it's literally the first scene. And there's a Kong statue on the side and the San Goku statue. Dorsiflar. Editor Jack here. I sincerely apologize to anyone and everyone watching for the sound I just made. Dude, the CG looks so good. I mean, as good as it can for like an arm just sticking out of someone. Like that. Dude, it's kind of it's kind of wild. They ain't They ain't pulling punches, bro. The only way they censored it was like the flowers are the visuals of the plot. OH MY GOD, I FORGOT ABOUT THIS. FROM SEASON ONE. MR. 3 and 1/2. I remember that from the premiere, bro. Oh dude, we got to see Croc this season. There's no way we don't. At least tease it. THERE'S THE BOYS. DUDE, TAZ IS REALLY the perfect Sanji. It's kind of insane. The Con D'ell do stop. What if there's any like very high overarching reason for the Con D'ell like in the grand scheme of things? I guess it's like a barometer to even get in the Grand Line. >> [laughter] >> Dude, I can't wait for 1 V 100. There's the goat. I'm so excited it's finally here, bro. I have a lot of thoughts about Zoro and Usopp in this episode that I'll talk about as we go. OH, [ __ ] DUDE, THE BIKE is so funny. I didn't think Smoker looked that good in the trailers. Like he was one of the ones I thought looked the looked the weakest. But, now that I see him here, I think he's perfect. Uh, I think the trailers just didn't do him justice. >> Who could cause the up the Yes Pirates? >> Yes Pirates. >> Who is Cosette of the Yes Pirates? And I love how he just drug him through the ocean. There's a Luffy poster. There's a Garp poster down there, too. THE GOGGLES! ALL RIGHT, first Easter egg that I may or may not have caught. I don't know if it's intended, but a lot of people are saying this might actually be Carol Masterson, which is Daddy Masterson's daughter. It's an anime filler episode. I watched it way back, but it was a guy that Usopp had a duel with in the anime, and it was kind of just like a cool fight for Usopp in Loguetown or like something for him to do and sort of start to develop that sniper tendency. So, yeah, just thought that was cool to mention. Who's that? WHO'S THAT? THAT'S BARTOLOMEO! [screaming] HE'S HERE! Like we all know Bartolomeo was at Loguetown, but not like that, bro. >> And one day when you met the world, you can look back on this one and see how much better yours is. >> Aw. His little smirk. See, I I feel like in season 1, we didn't get a single smile out of Zoro. I I feel like in the anime, he does like crack jokes and stuff every now and then. One, Bart very in this episode. And as you guys know, he's not in in the show till Dressrosa, which is like episode 600. Uh Roger telling Garp he's a child is huge because now you're going to think like who is it? But I think I think they want viewers to think it's Luffy. Um and then the third thing, oh, showing Sabo is insane. I want to like pause on him real quick cuz like when we were in the theater, I could barely see. But that, I feel like you could see him so well. See, I don't remember Tashigi and Miss All Sunday talking. Okay, I'm not going to lie, he looks a little bit goofier than I remember in the theater. But again, that would just take I I I genuinely like has anybody sat down and did the math? I don't know how it's possible for them to make the entirety of like the One Piece live action without the actors aging out. Because I know they're trying to speed up production on season 3, but like at a bare minimum, if you crank out like a season every single year, which would be insane, by the way, it's like 10 YEARS TILL WE GET to Alabasta. Like I I mean, I guess they don't they're not going to look like elderly, but still it's it's tough, man. But regardless, what a brilliant start to Little Garden. The giants are amazing. I think my only gripe, like I said, I feel like Dory's voice sounds like it's through a filter. Like it it like like he's not there speaking. I like his voice, but there's like this there's like this pinging to it. You know what I mean? But Brogy doesn't have that. And they they did his their battle excellently. Like I said, I keep trying to put myself in the shoes of someone that's watching for the first time. I'm like, "Oh my god, this 100-Year War just ended." I mean, you think that in the anime, too, because you think Brogy dies in the anime. I don't even remember how he lives. Like because giants are just that absurdly strong, but even Dory thinks he's dead. But I'm pretty sure in the anime whenever Brogy dies, that's when Mr. 3 makes his move like right there on Dory.
