Video summary
The core message of the video is that narcissists seek to drain individuals of their time, energy, and essence by convincing them to sacrifice everything for the sake of a false facade. These individuals operate as scavengers who feed off others, particularly those with high empathy, without offering any reciprocity in return. By investing years of life, money, and emotional labor into someone who views people merely as tools or stepping stones, one eventually finds themselves depleted and left with nothing. The video argues that these manipulators maintain their image through a deceptive mask, requiring constant fuel from others to sustain it, while simultaneously hiding their true selfish intentions and lack of genuine care.
This dynamic often leads the victim to feel anxious, depressed, and confused, as their natural positivity and hope are systematically sapped away to keep the narcissist's illusion alive. To maintain control, these individuals may push victims toward unhealthy coping mechanisms like substance abuse or excessive spending, not because such behaviors are inherently beneficial, but because they reduce resistance and provide a false sense of safety through conformity. The video explains that over time, prolonged pressure to tolerate unacceptable behaviors breaks a person's will, making it feel easier to give in than to fight back. This erosion of self-will allows the narcissist to steer the victim away from their true purpose and destiny, effectively suppressing their growth and potential.
Recognizing these patterns requires paying close attention to how one feels around specific people, noting sudden fatigue or a sense of being drained that indicates an energy vampire dynamic. The video suggests that setting strict boundaries is essential, as revealing one's true colors often happens when limits are enforced, exposing the narcissist's underlying resentment and entitlement. It is crucial to evaluate social circles critically, asking who truly supports during difficult times versus those who only appear when there is a benefit to be gained. By spending more time alone, individuals can gain a clearer perspective on their relationships and identify those who sabotage their growth rather than nurture it.
Ultimately, the video concludes that choosing oneself is not an act of selfishness but a necessary step to stop being used by those who lack remorse or empathy. It emphasizes that while narcissists may exploit innocence and hope, setting healthy boundaries protects one's essence and allows for genuine self-improvement. The real tragedy lies in continuing to cast pearls before swine, which mocks the victim's true nature and prevents them from fulfilling their destiny. Therefore, the advice is to draw a clear line, prioritize personal well-being over pleasing ungrateful individuals, and reclaim the life force that belongs solely to oneself.

The narcissist wants you to give up
everything for them.
You're not selfish for choosing
yourself.
You're selfish for being afraid to tell
people no. You're selfish for being
afraid to set healthy boundaries for
yourself.
Because when you are doing things for
people who do not even appreciate you,
you're slowly shrinking and wasting away
until you're no good for the people who
actually need you. the people who
actually appreciate you,
the people who are actually there to
give you reciprocity.
You want to be safe and whole.
But you have to understand that there
are a lot of people out there who are
just scavengers, people who feed off of
other people. And if you're someone who
has a lot of empathy, you're going to
end up being there for people who are
not there for you. You might end up
choosing them over yourself and they
would never do that because they are
really selfish.
They only care about themselves.
They're focused entirely on their own
advantage or pleasure to where they may
show a disregard for you because maybe
they're desperate. They feel hopeless.
So, they're trying to feed off you
energetically.
They're trying to garner your resources,
your time, and even your very essence.
And because you're used to being there
for people, they will take full
advantage of that. They will take
everything you have. They will waste
years of your life and they will leave
you with nothing in return.
So for all of your efforts, the time you
wasted, the money you invested, the
trauma you had to endure, in the end you
get nothing.
Because while they may have been giving
you promises about the future, the
reality is that they are like a rapidly
depreciating asset. So even if you
invest everything you have into them,
there's still no return because you're
investing in something that has no
value, something that lacks sustenance,
something that just destroys and decays
because it's a facade. It's not genuine.
It isn't real. It serves only to
convince you of something that is not
while they continue to hide their true
feelings, intentions, or motives. And
that is how it gradually depletes you of
everything you have. Your time, money,
energy, youth, until eventually you have
nothing left.
You're very different to the person you
used to be.
You were once happy, vibrant, energetic,
full of life. Now you're anxious,
depressed, confused, hopeless.
Because in order for them to sustain
this facade of them being so great and
wonderful and of them being kind,
caring, and generous, they need your
life force. They need to drain you of
your feelings of love, hope, positivity,
and optimism, which you naturally feel
towards yourself and which you admit out
to them.
Once they trick you into believing that
they are something of value.
So this is why they need you. This is
why they need people to take advantage
of. This is why they lie to people.
And they pretended everything is going
great and there's nothing wrong with
them
because they need this fuel. It's what
keeps them going.
And this is why they don't respect your
boundaries. This is why they don't
respect your work. This is why your
dedication, your drive, and the energy
you put out to produce the things you've
earned all means nothing to them.
Because all they care about is the
facade.
So in their minds, those things are a
means to an end.
They will extract them from you to help
make themselves appear like they are
something.
But they're not actually anything for
real. And that is why they will fall out
with you. Not because you did something
to them, but because of something you
didn't do for them. And they may become
resentful, even if you gave them
everything.
Because they didn't just want what you
had. They wanted your essence. They
wanted everything that made you who you
are, but they couldn't take it from you.
Not because they didn't want to,
but because your essence could never be
theirs.
They could only imitate it.
And they will never be able to take you
off your purpose completely. They can
only steer you away from it. They can
only distract you or divert your
attention, but you will always return to
it.
And they hate anything that you set out
to achieve because they know they can't
go where you're going.
So they watch and they wait while
they're plotting to pull you back
because it's the only way they're ever
going to have any type of control over
you.
by bringing you down, suppressing you,
holding you back.
But the people who can go where you're
going will be able to pour into you just
as you were able to pour into them.
You have to pay attention to how you
feel when you are around certain people.
You may feel a sudden sense of fatigue.
You may feel worn out and drained just
by being around certain people.
because they are energy vampires. They
are leeches. They're feeding off your
energy and they have nothing to
reciprocate back to you in turn. So, as
long as you remain around them, you're
often going to feel tired.
You may feel down about yourself. You
may feel like giving up. You may feel
like turning to certain vices,
things that are not good for you, things
that are not productive.
These are coping mechanisms that you may
learn from these people and you may feel
like it's helping you to get by.
But here's the interesting thing about
all of this because it's not so much
that smoking, drinking, binge eating,
sex, pornography, gambling, or excessive
spending are actually making you feel
better about yourself as though it's
something you really needed to do.
It's that by you engaging in these
things, you let go of the resistance
that you would otherwise be feeling by
not engaging in those things and trying
to push forwards while they're
constantly pushing back against you.
You see, you may have been pressurized
over a long period of time to tolerate
to accept behaviors you wouldn't
normally accept.
and to conform to standards or
expectations you wouldn't normally
conform to.
But over a long period of time, it
breaks your will until you can't fight
anymore.
And it just feels easier to let go and
give in. And the moment you do that, it
can feel good.
Your brain releases dopamine. You
experience a sense of reward for
conforming. Not because you like the
thing, but because now you feel a sense
of safety and belonging.
We are social creatures
and we will do whatever we have to do to
survive. Just look around at the world
and you will see different countries,
religions, cultures, borders, all
determined by their local authority.
Because people will mold and shape
themselves to fit in, even if it doesn't
align with their core values.
But your loyalty to these people will
never serve you because they never
supported the real you. You had to
abandon yourself in order to belong. And
even then, they are only there until
you're no good for them anymore.
So once there's nothing left for them to
use up, then they're going to take off
and use up the next person. Which means
that eventually you are left a shell of
yourself, not knowing who you are
anymore, struggling to navigate the
world, struggling to understand what
happened to you because they will use
you until there's nothing else left
until you feel completely empty inside.
So don't be that person. Don't allow
everyone to have access to you. Everyone
doesn't deserve you. So, don't be afraid
to change direction and go on your own
self-improvement journey because not
everyone is going to understand the new
person that you're becoming. And maybe
they're not meant to. So, when you tell
them no or you set a healthy boundary,
their true colors will show.
It will reveal their real character,
personality, and intentions because the
reality is that they are very unpleasant
and selfish.
So, you will see the lack of respect for
you. You will see the entitlement to the
things you have. You will see that they
really don't have any love for you at
all. They may act like they do
initially, but that's only because
they're trying to get something from
you. They're trying to buttery you up so
that you will give them what they want.
They will act very kind and friendly
towards you at the beginning, but the
truth is deep down they can't stand you
because they only care about themselves.
Many people out there are not just
narcissists.
They may be operating in machavelanism,
the dark triad, and even psychopathy.
And that's where you may notice the
success of self- loveve and a lack of
remorse where they are manipulating and
deceiving. And they are emotionally
detached with a strong focus on their
own personal power and self-interest.
They use people, they view people as
tools or stepping stones to get what
they want. and they struggle to care
about how their actions might hurt you
because in their minds the end justifies
the means. They believe lying, cheating,
or tricking people is fine as long as
they win.
They don't see the world the way that we
do. They assume everyone else is also
selfish and dishonest. And that is how
they don't typically end up bearing the
brunt of someone else's tricks because
they don't believe in anything anyway.
But you do.
You may be more innocent or naive. You
have hope. You believe people can be
better. You believe things can change.
And that is what makes you a perfect
target for these individuals. That's why
they're all over you like a rash because
they don't mind exploiting people's
innocence. They don't mind betraying
you. They see it as though if that's
what's going to get them what they want,
then that's what they have to do.
So we have to set strict limits and
boundaries on what we are willing to
accept, tolerate or do. We have to stop
playing offense and we have to start
playing defense
because when we are sitting back and
we're seeing what's going on, we have to
be able to counteract these individuals
who are coming with bad energy.
And to do that, you need to spend more
time alone. Because by spending more
time alone, you will soon begin to see
people from the outside looking in.
Time gives you a better vantage point on
a who's who because a lot of these
people are only there to sabotage your
growth.
So sometimes you've just got to look
back and ask why is this person or
people even in my circle?
What are you even benefiting from it?
Because many of you are spending a lot
of your time around people you don't
even benefit from being around. You're
around people who are truly selfish. And
because you have compassion for people,
more often than not, you are the one who
carries that burden. You are the one who
carries the weight. And then you're
still the one who is left worrying about
disappointing people.
But that's not what the real
disappointment is. The disappointment is
that you continue to cast your pearls
before swine or you continue to be there
for ungrateful and entitled individuals
because that is the real travesty here
and they know it.
They know they're making a mockery of
what you're really supposed to be. A
false, absurd, and distorted
representation of who you really are.
And that's where they get their kicks
from. turning something that should be
considered respectfully and treated
appropriately into a laughingtock, into
an object of ridicule because it makes
them feel better about themselves.
And as a result of this, you are unable
to fulfill your destiny in life. That is
the real travesty here because that is
devastating.
So what have you got to do?
Look at the people that you're in
contact with. Look at the people you
have around. Look at your social media.
And start questioning who's really there
for you and who's not. Who only shows up
when there's a benefit for them? Who's
only there when you're up, when you're
winning, or when you're ahead? But then
when you're down, they're nowhere to be
found.
Who can you call when you need support?
Whether it be mental support, financial
support, or even just someone being
there and showing up, who is actually
there for you and who's not there for
you? Grab a pen and paper and write it
down right now
because you're always on the front line
for everyone else. But then in the
moment you choose yourself, people want
to guilt trip you. You have to set
healthy boundaries. You have to draw a
line because people are taking advantage
of you.
They're stripping you and draining you
of your time, your space, and your
energy. And it's not meant for them.
It's meant for you so that you can do
the things that you need to do.
