Video summary

The essence of sitting with a guru lies in the profound shift from self-preservation to intense emotional engagement, where one surrenders instinctual defenses to allow energies to rise beyond ordinary limits. This experience is not about seeking an external savior but rather responding to an internal pain that tears apart the ego until it naturally draws the presence toward itself. A true guru is described not as a mere person but as a timeless energetic possibility and a committed force dedicated solely to liberation, which becomes accessible only when the seeker cultivates deep openness within their own being. When this state of readiness is achieved, the divine presence does not just accompany the individual from without but dwells entirely within them, transforming life into an ecstatic journey that constitutes living mukti or liberation while still embodied. The relationship transcends physical limitations and temporal boundaries; even if a guru were to leave their body, their influence remains ever-present because they have become one's breath, dharma, very being, and ultimate source of truth. This connection ensures that the seeker is guided through every moment with unwavering support, fulfilling the creator's original intention for human existence without fail. The transformative power of this union is illustrated by a personal anecdote where a brief touch from a guru's stick ignited an effect lasting three lifetimes, demonstrating how such encounters can completely dismantle one's current state to rebuild it as unbounded and free. Accepting this responsibility carries the greatest privilege in life, turning the individual into a vessel for fulfilling a sacred mission that extends far beyond their own lifespan or immediate circumstances. Ultimately, the goal is not just intellectual understanding but making this living reality manifest now, ensuring that the presence of the Satguru becomes the nearest thing to the source known by every seeker who truly gives themselves completely in even a single moment.

When you sit with a guru, that [music] one a Guru Purnima, you leave your instinct of self-preservation aside. You can't raise your energies [music] to madness pitch. At least raise your emotion. Do something intense. It doesn't matter what you do. Do something really intense with life. It'll work. >> [music] >> This is what a guru means. His energies and his way of being is committed to liberation. >> [music] >> You don't go about seeking a guru. The pain of not knowing, when it tears you apart within you, [music] she will anyway come in search of you. >> [music] >> If you are willing, >> [music] >> I will be available to you in more ways than you can logically understand. Because a guru is not a person. This is a presence. This is an energetic possibility. [music] You just have to work towards your openness. Once you create this openness, I am not just with you. I shall be in you. You just create a deep longing. That space, that energy which you refer to as guru will happen to you. It will overwhelm you. It will destroy you the way you are, so that you will become unbounded. You'll become the way creator intended you to be. >> [music] >> How to use a guru? The tool of a guru, how to use him as a tool is that he's become your dharma. He's become your breath. >> [music] >> He's become your body. He's become your being. If you become like this, I will make sure you're ecstatic every moment of your life, for sure. Once you live like this, this is a living mukti. >> [music] [music] >> To chant or to do some sadhana or to do the guru puja is so that you are present. If you are present, I'm present. Always. Haven't failed yet. Even if I leave my body, I'll be still present. >> [music] >> The nature of the guru is not limited to time and space. >> [music] >> If you make this mistake of sitting with me for one moment, really, this is the last cycle of life for you. I shouldn't be saying this. This may make you lethargic in your spiritual process. If you're truly given yourself for one moment, I can clearly say that I'll see you through. That's for sure. The nearest [music] thing to the source that you know is your Satguru. >> [music] >> My physical contact with my guru was just for a few moments, which got me to a state which has lasted three lifetimes now. >> [music] >> He just touched me with his stick. And then >> [music] >> with that little stick, he has left me for three lifetimes to do his work. >> [music] [music] >> Carrying that responsibility of fulfilling his mission >> [music] >> has been the greatest privilege in my life. >> [music] >> It is my wish and my blessing that you must know this. >> [music] >> May this become a living reality in this life. >> [music]
