The Don Show and Friends: Batman vs. Robin - Wayne Manor Fight scene Reaction
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The host of the Don Show and Friends provides a passionate reaction to the Batman versus Robin fight scene from "The Court of Owls," acknowledging that while many viewers criticized the animation quality and character designs, he remained focused on the raw action. He praises the physicality of the combat, particularly noting how Damian Wayne fought without holding back despite knowing his opponents were not truly alive, which allowed for a brutal and satisfying exchange of blows. The host also highlights Alfred's presence as a standout moment, describing him as one of the most realistic butlers in any media, before shifting focus to the intense hand-to-hand combat that defines this specific encounter.
A significant portion of the commentary is dedicated to analyzing Damian Wayne's character arc and the psychological weight he carries as a young assassin with a lineage full of killers. The host explains that Damian's struggle stems from conflicting influences: his grandfather Ra's al Ghul, his mother Talia, and his father Bruce Wayne, all of whom are deeply involved in his life and trauma. He interprets the climactic moment where Batman tells Damian not to doubt his instincts as a critical turning point, suggesting that this command forces Damian to confront the reality that killing is part of his nature, even though it contradicts everything he has been taught about heroism and morality.
The discussion also touches on specific lore details regarding Nightwing's history, with the host recalling a fan theory or comic book event where Batman knocked out a tooth from Dick Grayson to prevent him from inheriting the "Court of Owls" bloodline and becoming a Talon. While admitting uncertainty about the exact issue number, he invites knowledgeable viewers to correct him, emphasizing his desire to explore deeper connections within the DC universe. Throughout the reaction, the host expresses a strong preference for seeing Batman utilize pure martial arts rather than gadgets, celebrating the moment where Damian finally lands a decisive blow that catches Batman off guard.
Ultimately, the host concludes that despite the flaws in the animation and design, this fight scene remains one of his favorites from the movie due to its emotional depth and character development. He expresses hope for future stories that allow Damian to grow up and find his own path, similar to how Jason Todd and Tim Drake have evolved into their respective roles as Red Hood and Robin. The video ends with a heartfelt thank you to the audience for their support, encouraging them to stay hydrated and subscribe for more reactions, while reiterating his appreciation for the complex dynamics of the Batman family that make these stories so compelling.

Hey, what's good y'all? It's your boy
Don from the Don Show and Friends and we
back for another reaction for fighting
scenes. So, please do me a favor, hit
the like button, share, ring that bell,
and let's keep building this channel.
So, today we're going to do Batman
versus the Court of OS. So, do me a
favor once again, subscribe, hit the
like button, ring that bell, and let's
tap into it.
Now, I know that the a lot of people did
not around this time did not like the
way they was drawing, dealing with the
animation, everything on here, you know,
and I agree with them. I agree with the
people. Wasn't the biggest fan of it.
did not like it. But the hands that was
thrown in this scene, I was here for it.
>> What the hell are these? [groaning]
>> Sheesh. Hands. And he wasn't even
holding back his punches because he knew
they wasn't really alive. So, I can just
I can just whoop your ass.
That's awesome. I could just really get
at you now. So, let's get it going. So,
he was on that type of time.
Shout out to Alfred, one of the realest
butlers of all.
>> Oh
sheesh.
>> Damn.
Bruce knows that
>> was one of the things too like Nightwing
was getting some of the worst luck
because even some of the animator when
he had I think he was fighting
Deathstroke and literally he constantly
kept getting his arm broke when he
fought Batman he got his arm broke he
always had the worst luck when it came
to his injuries where he had to shut
down and somebody had to take over it
sucked but you know what Batman was
there and Batman was like hey yo let's
get it because you you just put your
hands on my other son and then You you
then you manipulated my other son.
I got to get you.
>> Little bird gave you
>> used him. Manipulated him.
>> What I say?
>> If I did, you're the one who made it so
damn easy.
>> Where's Damian?
>> That he was a handful.
Way to get up out of there.
>> There's too many of those things to
fight without. May not be good enough.
>> Jeez.
>> A few final adjustments, sir.
questions. Just listen. The talents
can't function at Subzero.
>> Hey, I just thought about that, too. I
My comic book lovers, please educate me.
If I'm correct, there was one comment
that I read. I can't remember and I'm
never going to say a lot like I remember
but I I do remember a blur of it where
Grayson family his descendant his
bloodline was part of the quarter and
there was a time where Batman knocked a
tooth out of Nightwing not because he
had a problem with him but there was a
tooth in his mouth basically if it was
supposed to activate where he would have
became the next uh he would have been
part of quarter of the house he would
have actually became uh a talent. He
would have. So, please correct me if you
know about what I'm talking about.
Please let me know. I would love to find
out which comic book and what issue that
was cuz I would love to read again.
Thank you to anybody that's watching
this that knows exactly what I'm talking
about. But if I'm correct, the reason
why he made that comment cuz Grayson was
supposed to be part of Quarter Isles
until Batman.
>> Let's go.
Now I'm only going to say this once, you
sons of [ __ ]
>> That's how you knew he was pissed.
>> Oh,
damn.
>> Get the hell out of my cave.
>> Hey, shout out to Alfred. Alfred ain't
got time. That sh not I killed don't
stand with penny work. [music] OG,
first off. First off, how the hell did
you get in my car?
How did you get in my car? I would have
been sitting there like,
"How do you get in my car?" But you know
what he did say at the beginning? I know
all your secrets, but damn. Do you know
my secrets to the point you knew how to
get in my car?
Let's bang. Let's bang. All hands. All
hands. All hands. Stop playing with me.
Stop playing with me. Not enough. Not
enough. What's good? Batman was getting
with him. He was getting Let's get it.
Yep. Yep. I been hands. Look at that.
Then caught him lacking right here. I
was sorry. I was so sorry cuz cuz a lot
of times I just want to see Batman just
get it in with the hands. I don't want
to see no gadgets. I don't want to see
none of that. I just want to see Batman
with all hands. All hands. And
unfortunately when Batman put that
pressure on Cats when he's going just
straight hands they had to pull a move
like that and then that's how he caught
this is how he caught Batman lacking.
But I was so sorry cuz I was like let's
get it. Like finally you get the chance
to just see Batman just get it in with
the hands. But hey, shout out to Batman.
>> I've taken your book.
>> So corny. [screaming]
>> And now
>> listen to me. He's not worth it. Let him
go.
>> Oh my god. Oh,
>> and one thing, one thing about Damian,
I know Damian and a headache. I already
know y'all. I If you a DC Batman family
fan, you know that Damian is a headache,
but Damian is a strong kid and he could
take a hit and he can deliver it right
back. That was one thing about Damian.
You can hit him hard as you want to, but
Damian will hit you hard back.
>> Free. He has to die. The Wayne fortune
will
>> and this is how you repay me. Then so be
it.
>> He's my father.
>> Don't doubt your instincts.
>> No.
And a lot of times when I watch that
scene, I used to always think about like
why did he do that? And then when he
said, you know what I'm saying? Don't
doubt your instincts.
With him knowing what Damian is going
through in his brain about killing and
his father being in his head, his mom,
his grandfather, his whole circle is in
his head. And he's just a kid. It was a
lot for him mentally. That's a lot. So,
it's like he felt like I and I could be
wrong. I probably He probably felt like,
man,
my my pops in my brain, my mom is in my
brain, my grandfather in my brain, and I
didn't know what to do at that second.
And now now this dude is telling me,
"Don't doubt my instincts." Great. How
did you know my instincts was to kill
you? I don't know.
over it.
Are you all right?
I'm proud of you.
>> So, yeah, y'all. That was one of my
favorite fight scenes out of that movie.
It was uh definitely good. Now, I can
say that yeah, the the animation, the
designing wasn't the best because as you
know, we have seen plenty of good good
animated movies and TV series of Batman
and in the DC universe. But yeah, other
than that, that was one of my favorites.
But listen y'all, let me know your
thoughts. Let me know which fight scene
or what moment you would love for me to
watch and talk about and react to and
have some commentary to. and uh we'll
watch and we'll talk about it. But
listen, once again y'all, thank y'all so
much for the love and support. Um I'm
truly truly grateful for y'all. And uh
but please make sure you do me one
favor. One favor. Drink some water. Be
great. And then uh did I say one thing?
I lied. Uh make sure you subscribe.
Thank y'all so much. Much love y'all.
I'll see you again soon. Peace.
I mean,
Damian was going through it. You know
what I'm saying? Like, he learned all
these different parts of him
and he's trying to figure out at a very
young age. Now, don't get me wrong,
Damian is a headache. That boy was
stress out. And I think we all know when
you read the books about him, he can
stress you out. He He definitely
stressed out Bruce Wayne.
but he was trying to figure her out and
I think that moment really traumatized
him because he was trying to get away
from believing in killing and I think
that was a lot for him. So he, you know,
he had to go do what he had to go do to
go find himself and find the answers
about who he really is. You know, you're
the grandson of Razu and your mother is
a whole assassin train killer and all.
And then your father
is Batman.
Your brother is Nightwing. Your other
brother is Jason Todd. Then your other
brother is Tim Drake.
That's a lot. You know what I'm saying?
So it's like, who am I? Who am I?
One minute I'm Robin, next minute I'm
the future Batman. I don't know. So, I
knew that that was a lot, you know. Um,
so many different scenarios dealing with
Damian where I I kind of understood him.
Now, he could be a headache, but let me
tell you something. When it came to the
hands, Damen gets it in. And you cannot
take that away from him. He gets it in
for sure. He is a handful, but Damian at
a young age, he had hands. And I do look
forward to one day DC letting Damian
grow up a little bit more so we can see
him grow because we had a chance to see
Grayson grow up, right, and turn into
Nightwing. I would love for them to kind
of let see more opportunities of Damian
grow up and see what direction he goes
in his life. the same way we had the
same chance for Jason Todd as well and
honestly Tim Drake. So yeah, definitely.
So yeah, y'all that was one of my
favorite fight scenes out of that movie.
It was uh definitely good. Now I can say
that yeah, the the animation, the
designing wasn't the best because as you
know, we have seen plenty of good good
animated movies and TV series of Batman
and in the DC universe. But yeah, other
than that, that was one of my favorites.
But listen y'all, let me know your
thoughts. Let me know which fight scene
or what moment you would love for me to

have some commentary to and uh we'll
watch and we'll talk about it. But
listen, once again y'all, thank y'all so
much for the love and support. Um I'm
truly truly grateful for y'all. And uh
but please make sure you do me one
favor. One favor. Drink some water. Be

I lie. Uh make sure you subscribe. Thank
y'all so much. Much love y'all. I'll see
y'all again soon.
Peace.
